[Joyabe]

Jun remained seated on Yukie's bed for a minute or two after he left. What was with his behavior? He expected himself to be the one embarrassed after last night, but Yukie acted almost as if nothing happened. Was it possible he was played? Was it possible Yukie just got his fill and now wanted them to be just boss-subordinate? He couldn't really call it going back to this relationship, because it always felt like they were something a little more.

 

With a small frown he hopped down from the bed and went to grab Yukie's breakfast just like he was asked to do. Bringing it to his study, he placed the tray on his desk and proceeded to wait leaned against the wall with his arms crossed. He now felt a little embarrassed to be wearing Yukie's oversized clothes. He wanted out of those more than he wanted anything else.

 

"I don't need you to buy me clothes" he blurted once Yukie was in the room and seated. He sounded a little more hostile than he had meant, but he was too confused to even notice. "I'll go shopping with you for cloths for yourself if you tell me to, but I have more than enough clothes back in my apartment. If you don't need me right now I'll just head over there and grab a few things"

"Seems I've already struck a nerve with you..." Yukie replied being able to feel how tense the air was and how uncomfortable Jun was. "Am I being to calm after last night?" Yukie asked looking at Jun with lust filled eyes the demon desperately wanting nothing more then to strip Jun of his I'll fitting clothes. Moving his eyes away from Jun Yukie looked back at the five folders on his desk slowly reading over the files and thinking as he ate his food. Turning his attention back at Jun Yukie bit into his piece of toast before chewing it and swallowing. "I'm trying to keep myself more behaved if it was my choice you would never see outside of my bedroom."

 

 

"But, because relationships take compromise I'm behaving and trying to slowly allow you to get use to us being a couple..well in my eyes we are. And while I don't expect you to proclaim your undying love for me I do expect you to understand that my species are quite...I guess proper words would be lustful?" Yukie admitted slightly unsure if he was using proper terms as he bit into his toast again deep thinking. "So...it's kinda like a succubus thing but not...to put it simple demons usually have many lovers of many types and species we rarely take on humans because our sexual desires are so great that often the humans can't keep up" Yukie explained with a frown unsure how Jun would take it. "Because I'm limiting myself to just one lover I'm refusing offers to mate with others this in turn is making me slightly more....horny?" Yukie admitted unsure if that was the proper term. "Being able to take on other forms allows me to easily be with other creatures that most humans...well They find it taboo" Yukie finished finishing his eggs before setting his plate to the side and worked on the slices of fruit. "I realized we haven't gone over what your okay with sexual wise and because of that...well I want to make sure I don't push myself on you or make you uncomfortable." Yukie added with a small frown watching Jun ever so closely almost like a lion watching his next meal.

Oh. He was wrong. He was so deeply incredibly wrong. Turning a deep shade of red at the realization of just how bratty he have been acting, Jun listened quietly as Yukie explained his situation. Soon he left the wall the was his refuge, and was slowly drifting closer to the other. He was literally causing a scene over nothing- and wasn't it him who wanted to not make a big deal of things in the first place? He hadn't felt like such an idiot for a long, long time.

 

Right now, facing Yukie head on was a little too much for Jun, so instead he circled his chair until he was standing behind him. Wrapping his arms around the other, Jun leaned forward so that his head was resting on Yukie's shoulder. "I'm sorry" he said quietly "I didn't mean to snap at you. I'm just... this is new to me" he admitted. Most of Jun's "relationships" were one night stands, no strings attached, and definitely no feelings involved. This was new territory for him even before he considered the whole demon thing.

 

"I'm in no position to tell you what or what not to do with others" Jun admitted with a little sigh, and although the thought caused a little pinch somewhere in his chest he knew he really had no right to, given the fact he never clarified how he felt about Yukie. Hell, he wasn't sure himself what he was feeling. "But," he continued as his arms tightened around the other just a little "I like this Yukie the best" he admitted before planting a kiss on his cheek "And he can certainly ask for more. I'm not going to break and I can also say no" he added with a chuckle, thinking of their somewhat rocky beginning. "I had fun last night you know" he added quietly.

 

After a silent moment, Jun let out a small sigh as he let go of Yukie as well. Sitting on his desk, now in front of him, his voice was almost back to normal when he spoke again. "So if you can spare me for an hour I'll go home and grab some things... I can't be walking around in your cloths all day, can I? Plus, I should probably have a few more things if I'm going to live here. Is there anything you need me to do before I leave? Or is there anything I can get for you when I'm out?" Despite the fact he really was in need of some properly fitting clothes, after his little tantrum Yukie was Jun's first priority. He wanted to make sure the other is in a good mood and all set before he could even think of going out- that was part of his job after all.

"Grab some Chinese take out on your way back and some nice indoor plants" Yukie replied gently petting Jun's cheek in quite the affected affectionate way. "I'll be quite busy with work and setting my schedule for the week" Yukie admitted with a small smile. "I have a nice centaur coming over to visit with me" Yukie admitted a little shy to admit that he had somewhat of a social group. "I do ask when you come back you also get a nice cake he's a very dear friend to me and I told him I'd treat him to dinner" Yukie finished closing his paperwork.

Quietly listening to the other’s instructions, Jun leaned in to the gentle touch to his cheek, enjoying it more than he cared to admit. Giving out a small nod once Yukie was done, he hopped off the desk. Apperantly being around the other was starting to affect him, seeing he didn’t so much as flinch at the mention of a centaur. “Alright” he smiled at Yukie “In the meantime you behave yourself and do your job.” Stopping for a moment as a small, mischievous smile tugged on his lips, Jun leaned forward to plant a chaste kiss on Yukie’s lips. “You can miss me a little bit!” he called as he left the room.

 

Taking one of the drivers, Jun’s first stop was his house where he changed into some better fitting cloths that also hid the evidence of the previous night, as well as packed a few more items to bring back with him. Given the rest of the tasks he was given, as well as the fact he decided to stock the fridge to allow for a more proper meal than just takeout just in case, it took Jun a good half a day before he came back.

 

After putting everything in place, Jun skipped upstairs to where he assumed Yukie would be. “Yukie” he called out as he searched for the demon “I’m back. What are we doing for the rest of the day?”

"Well honestly I didn't be live you had a human here" the centaur mumbled his hand gently wiping a few of the bleeding nail marks on Yukie's face.

 

"Told you he existed he's quite cute also" Yukie admitted letting the older male bandage his face. "You can set the food down at the table" Yukie added hissing at the medicine the male was having put all over his half naked body. Feeling the males strong hands against Yukie's body made the demon blush a little.

 

"While I admire your work ethic this is entirely your fault for messing around and playing with the merfolk. Your lucky they only scratched you and didn't try to drown you" Lucas added slightly scolding his superior.

 

"If I didn't I wouldn't have gotten their leaders approval to help gather the souls in the ocean" Yukie added his body easily being pressed back against the desk as Lucas continued cleaning his wounds almost sexually pinning him to the table.

Hearing voices coming from Yukie's office, Jun hesitated for a moment before entering. The conversation didn't seem too serious though, and he did have to notice the other he returned. However, as soon as he entered the room and his eyes landed on the scene before him, Jun froze in place. At first it was the initial shock of seeing a centaur- something hr thought belonged only in mythology in person, as well as the compromising position he and Yukie were in. But then he saw the injuries.

 

"What happened?" his voice clearly expressed the panic he felt as he rushed over to Yukie. "I've been gone for only a few hours! What did you do?" Jun's hands instinctively reached for Yukie in an effort to make sure he was okay, but froze mid-air. Not only did he not know what to do, there was also the centaur in his way. Biting on his lip, Jun took a step back, torn between his worry and the sudden surge of jealousy he did not expect not appreciated, especially he practically told Yukie he could do whatever he wanted.

"The wise Yukie picked a fight with a creature that could drown him. The fuckers tore him a new one" Lucas explained a small dry chuckle escaping his lips.

 

"They aren't that violent they respect me to an extent." Yukie grumbled with a huff his body flinching from the sting of ointment. "Ren, this is Lucas his the leader of the centaurs...somewhat My oldest creation" Yukie explained gesturing to the beautiful man who bore slight similarities in facial features.

"Not violent my ass" Jun commented in a bleak voice, his expression ominous as if covered by storm clouds. Gritting his teeth, he took a step forward, and then another until he was standing next to Lucas right in front of Yukie. "Nice to meet you Lucas" he no more than mumbled as he gently pushed his hands aside "Can I?"

 

Taking a closer look at Yukie's injuries only caused Jun's expression to darken "Do I need to get a doctor to see you? And don't give me any bullshit about it" he warned before running his hands gently near the injuries, trying to asses their severity to the best of his ability. "Honestly what were you thinking?" he mumbled "Are you trying to get me fired? Because you know the whole reason I'm here is to make sure you're okay" he grumbled, trying to hide his embarrassment over how worried about Yukie he was.

"I believe he mentioned getting you fired after our sexual adventures in the forest" Lucas added with a devious smirk amused by the cute humans jealousy. "I mean I tried to stop him and told him to leave his home and run away with me but he was very firm on properly firing you" Lucas finished getting a huff from Yukie who currently wasn't liking that his wounds where being fussed over when they would heal in a few hours.

 

"I'm surprised your not dragging me to a hospital..." Yukie admitted his face flushed with a slight fever due to the venomous bites to his body. " I doubt you could take me to even get me there" Yukie mumbled softly nuzzling into Jun's shoulder the male clearly sleepy and exhausted making Lucas laugh.

 

"My father is tiered, the venom from merfolk is toxic to humans but to him it just gives him a fever" Lucas explained his head resting on Jun's while he looked down at Yukie.

"I have no idea what you're talking about" Jun huffed, not really understanding what Lucas was going on about. What did firing him had to do with Yukie messing around with the centaur? He was pretty sure this didn't happen when he was Yukie's employee- given he was working for him for only a few days. He was confused, angry and still just a little bit jealous.

 

Yukie snuggling up to him did soften all of those though. Gently stroking his head Jun let out a sigh "Yeah, well, if you weren't stronger than me I would drag your ass to a hospital five minutes ago. But since I can't" Jun moved away from Lucas who for some reason decided to be too close to him, pulling Yukie along "We're going to bed. And don't you dare giving me any shit on this."

 

Supporting Yukie, Jun made his way to his bedroom, all but pushing him into bed. He then called one of the servants only to send him to bring a bowl of cold water and a towel. "Are you sure this is just a fever?" Jun's brows creased as he gently pushed Yukie's hair away from his face. Bending down, he gently pressed his lips to Yukie's forehead, his frown deepening as he felt the other's temperature. "Maybe we should get a doctor here to see you. Maybe we need to get you a medicine or something..." In his defense, Jun didn't know much about merepeople and this was the first time he had ever seen Yukie look so weak. It was understandable he would be worried.

"Mmh I want you to be my sexy nurse" Yukie mumbled his hands wrapping around Jun's body tenderly. While the demons body was fighting off being sick Yukie still had a sense of what he was doing and his actions. "You don't need to worry so much about my health..I'm good" Yukie admitted easily pulling Jun deeper and deeper under his many blankets wanting to keep his lover to himself. "And as for Lucas you shouldn't be jealous..I created the ungrateful brat one drunken night. I created a lot of things" Yukie admitted with a soft laugh his eyes looking at the ceiling. "Did you ever want to have a family or kids?" Yukie asked curiously his fever slowly coming down but staying at a steady quite warm temperature.

Well, Yukie couldn’t be that sick considering he haven’t lost his sense of humor. Rolling his eyes while hiding the small smile that tugged at the corners of his mouth, Jun barely managed to place a cold towel on Yukie’s forehead before he was dragged under the blankets.

 

“I’m not jealous” he denied, although the way he snuggled up to the other suggested otherwise. He was still a little tired from their late night, and he had to admit the bed with Yukie in it was soft and warm. Like, too much for him to even bother trying getting out.

 

“Hmm... I don’t know” Jun admitted as he lightly traced his fingers over the other’s chest “My family is kind of fucked up... I don’t know if I can be a good parent. What about you?” Jun tilted his head up to look at Yukie “Do you ever think of having a family? Or are the...” Jun wasn’t sure it was polite to call them things “Do you consider your creations your family?”

"I've desired blood children and whike my creations are fun, they are only clay and magic nothing more. "They cannot create grandchildren and they do not age past eighteen" Yukie explained gently kissing Jun's cheek. "Is your family alive?" Yukie asked ever so gently knowing it might be a sensitive topic for his new lover. With a soft brush of his fingers his hand went through Jun's hair playing with the soft strands.

"I guess" Jun sighed, finding the soft touches from the other comforting "I grew up with foster parents. They come every few months to ask for money... I give them what they want for the kids that are still at home and they leave me alone. The last time I heard from them was about six months ago." Jun wasn't sure why he was telling Yukie all of that, but the words seemed to spill effortlessly out of his mouth as he lay there and listened to the other's heartbeat. He didn't like talking about his family at all, but it felt okay when it was Yukie.

 

Still, there was something the other was saying that kept bothering him. He wanted nothing more than to close his eyes, snuggle up closer to the other under the blanket and forget about everything else. But this heavy feeling that settled into his chest made it impossible for him to do exactly that. With a heavier sigh, Jun propped up on his forearms "Hey..." he said, trying to sound as nonchalant as he could "If you want kids of your own shouldn't you look for someone that's more... you know, capable of having kids?" he asked. "Not that I mind. I mean maybe it's something in the future" he added quickly "Just... you know." Jun still wasn't comfortable with admitting he had deeper feelings toward the other, ones that went further than liking. If Yukie told him he changed his mind and wanted something casual... well, he could still do it without getting too hurt. He would be fine.

"God your cute." Yukie mumbled with a small laugh moving to look Jun in the face. "Maybe I should have added we can have kids without being well, womanly" Yukie explained with a small chuckle gently kissing Jun's head. "Your act of love was very admirable" Yukie added his hand gently moving over so he could rub Jun's back. "Now...As for your family I think it's best I introduce myself to them when they visit maybe pay off any debt you incurred to them" Yukie mused the demon clearly plotting a fun little outing.

"Who's cute?" Jun grumbled, burying his face in Yukie's neck to hide his embarrassment and the very visible red shade his face took. He meant for things to come across as casual and light and instead... Well, Yukie said all that. He still enjoyed the hand that rubbed his back though. When his family was brought up however, Jun's head snapped back up again. "I don't want you to meet them. They're not good people" he admitted bluntly. "I make enough money to keep them quiet until all the kids there would be old enough to leave... And if you'll try giving them something they'll just come back from more. I don't want to get you involved with them" his brows pushed together at the thought of his family somehow taking advantage of Yukie. That was the last thing he wanted. "You should just stay in bed and focus on getting better instead of doing unnecessary things" he added, brushing a strand of hair away from the other's face.

"Why don't you have the other kids live on their own, or...I could put them through some nice live in academy's" Yukie offered not liking seeing Jun worried about his siblings. "I can't just not do anything now that I know" Yukie admitted with a chuckle only to be interrupted by Ayme who knocked lightly on the door.

 

"Your smallest blood spawn is demanding to see you...Your guardians quit deeming the child an abomination" Ayme explained the male dressed in a nice suit obviously busy with work.

"No, I-" Jun began protesting when Yukie offered to practically provide full financial support to his siblings. That wasn't his job- he gave Jun a job and that was more than enough. This was his own problem to take care of. Right now Yukie was giving him a job, a place to live and they were romantically involved even though he wasn't sure where he saw their relationship on the spectrum between employer-employee and lover. He was touched by the offer, but there was no way he could accept it.

 

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), he didn't have the chance to reply when Ayme came into the room. Although Jun knew the other twin knew about the way Yukie felt and about the nature of their relationship he still felt embarrassed being caught in the other's bed. Even if they weren't doing anything indecent. "You really shouldn't see anyone right now" Jun frowned, tightening his arms around Yukie "You should at least take the day to recover from those" he gently caressed the scratches on the other, feeling his still present fever as he did.

"Bring him in...I don't need to pay for whatever part of your stuff he destroys" Yukie mumbled already agitated as he sat up and covered them both more with the blankets raving coming back wot h a toddler who looked a lot like Yukie but with black hair.

 

"They quit and we've gone through so many that I doubt I can find replacements so quickly" Ayme admitted setting the child down on the bed the boy holding the pillow tightly as if hiding from Yukie's angry disappointed eyes.

 

"Your going to be locked in the basement of you can't get your shit together" Yukie replied knowing all to well the lad could understand him.

Jun didn't pay too much attention to Yukie and Ayme once the toddler entered the room. He seemed shy or maybe a little scared, and Jun found himself bending his neck to try and see the miniature Yukie that sat on the bed. "Hello," Jun smiled at the child "I'm Jun. What's your name?"

 

His expression immediately changed to utter shock when he heard Yukie's last words "What the hell are you saying?" a very angry Jun turned his eyes to the other, moving so he was now between him and the toddler "You do not talk like that to a kid!"

"Raven is smarter then he looks his intelligence level is quite high" Yukie explained watching raven who of course used Jun as a shield. "Right now he's using you as ahe shield but the second you go against him his anger will be directed to you." Yukie added sitting up and nudging raven with his foot the toddler hissing at Yukie looking quite scary and demonic when angry. With his fangs still out he held tighter to Jun still putting the man between Yukie and himself. "Hes not like the others I created, he mimics my DNA all the crap you've seen with me he can do the same, the catch is he hasn't aged in a few centuries" Yukie whispered continuing to watch raven ever so closely.

Yukie could have used all the logic in the world talking to Jun, but none of it would help in face of what seemed like a defenseless toddler hiding behind him. "Hey, stop it" he smacked Yukie's leg when he nudged Raved, quickly proceeding to pull the child from behind his back and into his arms "You're scaring him." Even the hissing and the fangs couldn't scare Jun away- in a weird sense, he found it even a little cute.

 

Cuddling the toddler, Jun raised his eyes to look at Yukie again "Well I think I managed to handle your shit pretty well. Come on, you can't have such a problem with a toddler." Smoothing the child's hair, Jun all but cooed at him. Looking at Raven was like looking at a small Yukie, which was surprisingly endearing. Good thing he was busy talking to the other so his sympathy was limited to physical gestures only. "I mean you're the one who created him... And you seem quite fond of the others" he added more quietly, thinking back on the seemingly too close relationship Yukie had with the annoying centaur.

"The others aren't like raven..." Yukie replied with a frown before sighing. "Fine, if you think you know him so well you can get him ready for a lunch outing. He will need to be bathed dressed and ready in an hour." Yukie replied watching raven who glared angrily at his words. "I believe within twenty minutes you'll understand why we keep him away from others and why I haven't created any others that are like me. The others are made of clay, raven is of blood" Yukie finished before getting up and leaving to go find Ayme the male leaving Ren with raven.

 

Raven quietly looked up at Ren his eyes watching his new guardian in the same way Yukie's often did when they first met.

Although Yukie's words seemed to have been said with the intention of discouraging Jun, in reality they had the opposite effect. "I don't see how he's worse than the others" Jun frowned, still not able to get over the way Yukie was treating a mere toddler "If I can manage you, I don't see how anyone else can be more difficult. Come on Raven" Jun got to his feet with a huff the same time Yukie did "Let's get you ready. Be a good boy and I'll get you something nice when we're out." Without adding another word and without throwing another glance in Yukie's direction, Jun took Raven and headed to one of the bathrooms in the estate.
