Unconsciously shrinking back against the tank, Jun watched wryly as Yukie inched closer to him. He still wasn't used to this whole shape shifting thing, certainly not when it was accompanied by real and very close sharks. "Come on Yukie, that's not funny" he frowned. The loud growl coming from the other caused Jun to visibly flinch. He wasn't all that familiar with Yukie and how he was when he was in this condition, but he knew it was kind of his job to stop him. Not that he had any idea as to how to do it.

 

Luckily, the problem seemed to be easily solved this time. Jumping once again as Yukie was hit by a flying shoe, Jun turned around to look for its source, his eyes landing on Ayme the moment he began talking. "Well, I don't see what else I can do" he frowned, yet moved closer to where Ayme was standing. While he didn't want to exit the tank completely and leave Yukie alone, he very much rather stay close to someone that could stop him for sure in case he would decide to try and eat him. "What are you even doing here?" he asked Ayme confused, still keeping one eye on Yukie "aren't you supposed to be on a business trip? How did you even know where we are?" He had no doubt the security personnel knew they were in the aquarium and reported it, but as far as he could tell he and Yukie were the only ones inside. So how the hell did Ayme know to look for them in that back room?

"My guards told me you got into the tank with Yukie while I was on my way back. We stopped here" Ayme added pointing to the camera above the shark tank. "They have been watching and listening in when you started to panic I came to stop him" Ayme added watching as Yukie continued to sulk with the sharks. "When he starts to act like what he's changing into that's when you need to stop him or he gets unruly." Ayme added watching his younger twin and the sharks. "If needed ask security for a control collar if you think he's not going to listen" Ayme added before sitting on the floor of the cage planning to wait out Yukie's tantrum.

"I did not panic" Jun denied the accusations while swimming in place next to Ayme, giving away the fact he might have not been exactly honest with that strong objection. After another moment of thinking, he climbed out of the tank and sat next to Ayme, deciding it wouldn't make much different now when Yukie was acting difficult. That did not mean he agreed with Ayme's suggestion regarding how to deal with him.

 

"I'm not going to put anything like that on him!" he protested, giving Ayme a furious look. Sure, Yukie wasn't the easiest to handle, but that was his job. And he wasn't about to put any collar or anything on him- not if he had any say in this. People were not things to be controlled, and the idea made him angry at Ayme- even if the other truly intended to help. "Yukie!" Jun called as he hurried to his feet "come on, you promised to behave. Get your ass out of there and take me on the rest of my date" was it smart to call his job a date right in front of Ayme? Probably not. But then again, he had the feeling there weren't too many secrets between the twins- and he was pretty certain that if Yukie kept talking about a date in front of him, he did the same in front of Ayme. "Come here this instant or I'll have a very easy decision to make about what we talked about earlier" he pouted as he crossed his arms. If Jun was unsure about how to react to Yukie's earlier confession, now he was even more confused. With how he was behaving, who could even tell if that confession was real?

Yukie slowly poked his head above the water and swam towards the metal dock. With a small huff he stayed below Jun and watched him unsure if he was really bluffing about canceling their date. With a small sigh and a suspicious glare to Ayme Yukie slowly got out his features still staying shark like as he huffed annoyed with leaving his shark friends. "...I can't change back so easily..." Yukie mumbled the form being slightly new to him so he didn't exactly know how to stop looking so scary.

 

"You tried to bite Jun...You tried to hurt him" Ayme stated as he sat beside Yukie feeling bad for his twin who seemed so lost and confused about himself.

 

"I wouldn't bite him...." Yukie mumbled curling up as he looked out at the water quite upset with Ayme's words.

 

"...I know you wouldn't mean to...but the instinct side of you would so you have to be careful...You scared him" Ayme added trying to get Yukie to see this form was a dangerous one and not one he should play with. "If you want ask him what you can change into I'm sure he will compromise and give you a list of things you are allowed to do" Ayme finished before getting up and looking at Jun. "I can trust the rest to you...I'm sorry for butting in but I won't stand by and let him hurt you. For you safety and his" Ayme added before being helped down by a security guard and lead out of the building the male heading off to his own section to go drink and watch a movie.

Relieved, Jun watched as Yukie, who seemed to be back to his senses, got out of the water and joined them. He clearly visibly relaxed, dropping the defensive stance he held and letting out a sigh. He was actually about to say something, but as the exchange between the twins proceeded he found himself surprisingly conflicted. Was Ayme actually looking out for him? He still didn't agree with him about the methods he wanted to use, but now he felt a little bit like an asshole for the way he talked to him. Well, he would take care of that, but with the way things looked, Yukie clearly took precedence.

 

"It's okay" he said, unusually softly, as he sat down next to Yukie "I know you're making an effort. And you're listening to me" he added as he rubbed his shoulders in an attempt to comfort him "you're doing good, okay?" he offered him a smile. "Tell you what, take a moment to go back to my regular young master okay? I'm gonna talk to other young master for a moment and then we'll go ahead and continue with whatever you have planned". With that, Jun rose to his feet once again, and hurried to the direction in which he saw Ayme going. Once he found one of the security guards, it was pretty easy to fond him. Knocking on the door, he poked his head into the room he was pointed towards, somewhat hesitantly "Hi..." he said "Um... thank you for earlier. And I'm sorry for yelling. I'm just... I really don't like the thought of doing it to anyone. Not just him you know?". He rubbed his arm, somewhat awkwardly "I've been through some stuff too, you know? But it was unprofessional to yell at you. This whole thing is new to me, but I shouldn't have reacted that way. So... sorry I guess" he said, shuffling from one foot to the other uncomfortably.

"It's fine. I shouldn't expect you to know about Yukie fully its to easy to get comfortable around him and let your guard down" Ayme admitted the bitemarks and deeper healed wounds showing up more on his skin now that he was in a well lit room. With a sip of his alcoholic drink Ayme continued to float on his tube ignoring the movie playing in the background. "Yukie can't die. It's not possible and I mean he's tried...his body just heals to quickly so if he hurts you and you don't heal easily every time he sees the wounds he gave you he gets more distant from reality." Ayme explained knowing Jun would notice his own battle scars.

 

"Yukie runs away from me because he's hurt me so much he hurt me in a way he couldn't fix...I can handle it because I care for him and it healed but it...makes him afraid to be around me the second he hurts someone he doesn't want them around so I'm trying to make sure you last a few months before you get hurt. He's going to end up hurting you it's inevitable, he can't control his mind or body I mean he's done it before with other nurses." Ayme explained with a tiered sigh. "The difference with you is he actually Will listen to you, he wouldn't listen to any of the others." Ayme finished unsure if he wanted to continue putting Jun in harm's way. "If he bites you and is venomous you could end up like me and live your life as a low class demon" Ayme added wanting Jun to know the final risk of staying by Yukie's side.

"Yeah, yeah" Jun rolled his eyes "trust me I've seen what you two are capable of". In all honestly, Ayme's scars might have shocked him if that was the first time he saw something like that. But he already saw the marks Ayme left on Yukie, and, well, in all honesty, the topic of injuries wasn't exactly a new one to him. "Cigarette burns" he counted as he pointed to a few round scars on his chest and arms "broken twice" he lifted his left arms "cracked I don't even remember how many" he gestured to his ribs "and there should also be a nice scar somewhere on my head from that glass he threw at me. But you won't see it unless I shave my hair which I have no intention of doing" he added. Yes, scars were nothing new to Jun. His current employers didn't bring anything new to the table... and at least they were trying to be nice to him. "Trust me, I'm not scared of the possibility of being injured. Been there, done that".

 

"Of course listens to me" Jun said with a smirk "after all, I'm not a nurse. As you know, I never quite gotten any form of higher education nor have I worked in such a respectable field" that was the freaking understatement of the year "so of course he listens to me. Isn't that the whole reason you guys got me to work for you in the first place? And as for becoming a demon..." Jun stopped for a second before letting out a small sigh "well, I suppose there are far worse things I could have turned into. Not that it would be my first choice, but it doesn't scare me the way you think it should". Giving Ayme one last smile, Jun turned on his heels and headed out of the room "don't worry about it so much other young master" he called over his shoulder "enjoy your time and I'll see you back in the house. Try not getting to drunk".

 

When he returned to the room where he left Yukie, Jun was already feeling a lot better. He had the very helpful ability of getting over things rather quickly, and the incident earlier wasn't really an incident at all. He was all over it- he just hoped Yukie was as well. "Yukie?" he called as he entered the room "are you back to my usual ruler of the underworld all talk but no game self? Get down here. I'm still waiting for the rest of my date" he called cheerfully.

"....Mmmmh I'm working my way back to normal" Yukie admitted the male looking down at Jun from his platform. "Ayme was right to be worried...I don't exactly have a past of being nice to humans and I've created my fair share of demons when I was younger" Yukie admitted holding a guards earpiece in one hand the guard sitting on his phone. "I'm glad you aren't afraid of me" Yukie admitted with a small smile as he sat up and stretched his eyes mirroring a beautiful red blood color. "With that in mind I'll try to be nice when I go into my...instinctual side, it's not like demons where ever ment to be tamed by humans so it's a slight learning curve adapting" Yukie admitted with a small sad smile.

 

"My headset please?" The guard asked politely as Yukie handed over the device and was easily helped down the ladder by the guard.

 

"Lets finish our date and maybe when we go home I'll show you my calming room" Yukie admitted having a few safe spaces in the house where he could hide away if needed. With a slight smile Yukie got back into the tube and waited for Jun watching the guard relock the doors for safety.

"Oh please" Jun couldn't keep the sarcasm out of his voice and the huge roll of his eye "you were much scarier when you used to march into my previous work with that rich master that deserves everything aura. It's not going to be that easy to scare me you know" he smirked. Watching quietly from the bottom of the ladder as Yukie climbed down, the smirk Jun was wearing made way for a more reassuring smile, that then turned into a teasing, almost challenging smile. "A calming room? I never thought you were the type to go for that yoga-green smoothies-meditation carp. I'm surprised." Of course, seeing Jun's version of calming was a big glass of whisky wasn't exactly making him a great judge.

 

With a small huff of laughter Jun climbed back into Yukie's lap. "So what's next?" he asked as he settled in "slides? flips? dinner? preferably in that order... I don't really feel like being upside down after eating" he laughed. "Just don't try feeding me to anything else... Besides, I thought it was you who wanted to eat me up" he couldn't help but adding that little tease in the end as he snuggled into Yukie.

"I like gardening and going on hikes" Yukie admitted with a blush while watching Jun climb down the ladder. Feeling him sit back down in his lap Yukie hesitantly wrapped his arms around Jun while they floated under the tanks. "Still planning on eating you after dinner" Yukie added with a slight tease back as the demon hid his face in Jun's back. Yukie was a little shy with their date and despite almost killing Jun it was the young masters first official date so he was glad to be given some direction. "I like the order you chose it sounds fun" Yukie added with a small smile his arms wrapping tighter around Jun's waist as he tried to soak up all the males happiness.

 

"Ayme doesn't disprove of us...he's happy I want to be around other people again" Yukie whispered his hands gently trailing over Jun's smooth skin.

"I thought Ayme was the one with the green thumb" Jun mumbled absentmindedly, wrapping his arms around Yukie's that were wrapped around him. He actually wasn't sure at all he should be doing it- in fact, he was the one that said they should talk about things. But the touch was a comforting one, and Jun didn't seem to be able to deny it. In any other scenario, his reaction to the other's tease would be an equally teasing 'I would like to see you try', but for some reason he was much more guarded, much more aware about the way he was acting around Yukie. He had to be now that feelings were injected into the equation. Instead, he just leaned back further into that embrace and listened quietly as the other talked.

 

"Well, he shouldn't disapprove of me" Jun mused as he dangled his feet into the water, watching the tanks over them pass until they were finally replaced by the large space of an indoor water park. "After all, he's also the one who hired me, right?" The sudden feel of hands travelling over his body made Jun bite down on his lips to hold back the surprised moan that was about to escape them. "Are you sure you should be this close to me though? It makes it easier" he said with a mischievous smile after he settled down. The atmosphere between them needed to change if Jun wanted to keep his head, and luckily the big pool they found themselves in provided the perfect opportunity. With another devilish smirk, Jun tightened his grip on Yukie before tilting both of them forward forcefully, making them fall straight into the water. When his head bobbed over the water again he was clearly and laughing. He couldn't possibly remember the last time he was this giddy- and he wasn't even drunk!

Yukie glared from the top of the water his head just slightly above water and floating much like he did as a shark. "...if you didn't want me to touch you you could have said no." Yukie mumbled not liking that he had been thrown overboard the cool water having been a little bit of a shock to his system. "...come on...I'll race you to the slides" Yukie added trying so hard to continue the fun the male easily getting out since he was quite agile. As Yukie waited for Jun he waved to Ayme who was watching from the top of the slides

"Oh come on young master don't have a cow" Jun was still smiling, not seeming overly rattled by Yukie's sullen mood "what's a little bit of water after you tried eating me?" he laughed, making it clear he saw the earlier incident as nothing serious. He considered asking Yukie to help him out only to pull him back into the pool, but he decided against it. He didn't want to make him overly angry... after all that pretty much went against his job description. Instead, Jun pulled himself out of the pool, although not as gracefully as Yukie did, and stood next to him.

 

"Fine, but let's make it interesting" he shot Yukie a challenging smile "if I you buy me a drink. An expensive one... and for your prize, well" he said before suddenly sprinting towards the slides "you can think of it while I get a head start!" he shouted over his shoulder. It was only honest though, if he wanted a fair chance. Not only Yukie had longer legs (and was probably much more in shape than Jun but he was not going to admit that) but there was also this whole demon thing. In fact, even with the cheating Jun wasn't sure he could win... but he at least wanted a fair chance.

"Mmh...fine" Yukie replied taking his sweet time clearly willing to let Jun win since Ayme had mentioned it could make Jun just a little sweet on him. Snickering Ayme watched the two and while seeing Jun make his way up the stairs slowly he was more amused why Yukie wasn't trying to win.

 

"If you win I'll pay for your future honeymoon~" Ayme teased only to receive a scowl from Yukie who in no way thought the teasing was funny and huffed before walking straight up one of the beams not caring to take the stairs like a normal human would

Jun was still a little delusional about having a chance when he made a run for it towards the stairs. Not that he cared about winning that much, but he was a little competitive in nature and therefore preferred considering winning as a plausible option. That is, until he started the climb up the stairs. Boy, he really was out of shape.

 

By the time he got to the top of the slide, he was breathing heavily, clenching his side that was killing him. “Not... not fair” he said as he tried regaining the ability to breath normally “we didn’t say anything about shortcuts” he told Yukie who seemed to have no problem whatsoever beating him to the finish line.

 

Sitting down at the twins’ feet, he took a moment to try and clam down from the unexpected exercise. “I’m going to have to consider your victory prize... I’m not sure you deserve it” Jun laughed as he looked up at Yukie “I guess now I get to decide whether or not you get it depend on what you ask for”

"....I want a kiss." Yukie replied his voice quite shaky as he requested such a thing. "...It's not fair you got to steal my first kiss when I wasn't ready" Yukie admitted his cheeks and ears red while he was looking away ignoring Ayme's snickering.

 

"I think that's a fair prize...but if you refuse I'm sure Yukie would prefer camping" Ayme admitted knowing just how much Yukie would love to run around and stretch his legs.

 

"...I do like camping" Yukie admitted the option being more then tempting since it meant Yukie could run around and play more and cuddle down in a sleeping bag nude without bothering the guards since he knew Ayme would give him his own tent if he wanted privacy.

With a small chuckle, Jun rose to his feet. There was this strange yet endearing dissonance in Yukie’s behavior, and the way he so easily switched between the oh so confident air of a young master to that of a confused young man. “Well, seeing that my job is to go with you and take care of you wherever you go I can’t see how camping is a prize. I’m pretty much forced to go if you do” he said “not that I mind going though” he added with a smile.

 

“Also” he said quietly as he closed the distance to Yukie “you’re awfully hung up on that first kiss thing... you know, considering the fact you’ve been threatening to eat me up from the first time we met” he smirked before planting a kiss on his cheek, and very deliberately so.

"Really, Yukie doesn't do normal camping he likes being really out with nature I have to force him to sleep in a tent" Ayme added not sure if Jun should agree to such a tiresome task.

 

"I don't remember even kissing you or wanting to do such things." Yukie mumbled his voice slightly confused. "Even if we did kiss...Ayme said it didn't have any meaning" Yukie added finding the kiss from Jun to be cold and more a sympathy kiss.

 

"You would, it wasnt that long ago since you've only known Jun for a short while..." Ayme explained recognizing the early signs Yukie was having more difficulty figuring out the basics of remembering. "I wouldn't ever let you live it down if you forgot" Ayme added wanting to settle his twins worry since he knew Yukie had trouble remembering and often when he forgot who and where he was it would send him down a dark path of fear.

 

"...okay" Yukie mumbled still uncertain if his twin was lying to him.

 

"I promise you confessed you loved Jun and wouldn't shut up about that kiss and ever since then all you talk about is marrying him" Ayme added wrapping his arms reassuringly around Yukie. "Your mentally sane I promise, we won't let you go crazy and forget" Ayme whispered as he held Yukie close.

Jun was about to say that there's no way in hell he was going camping without a tent (even if this was a job he still had his limits), but Yukie's reaction, ironically enough, made him all but forget about it. "You don't remember?" he asked, brows pushing in confusion "what don't you remember? And since when?" He knew this was stupid. He was fully aware of the fact Yukie was having trouble with his memory- he was well informed of it. But there was this part of him that felt... hurt over being forgotten. Did Yukie honestly forget the amount of attention he dedicated to him even back when he was still working in the club? Did he forget the countless times he so shamelessly and confidentially hit on Jun? Did his confession from earlier meant nothing? And here was Jun, trying to understand the situation and his own feelings. Trying to figure out what would be the best response. And this now was making everything so much more difficult.

 

Unconsciously, he found himself reaching out to touch Yukie. The confusion he was experiencing, as annoying as it was, seemed to be nowhere as bewildering as what Yukie was going through. And it wasn't just the fact it was his job to help him- he wanted to help him. He couldn't say yet what he felt for him, but he certainly cared. He didn't want to see Yukie suffer. However, as this thought crossed his mind, his hand froze in the air, mid-way to where the twins were standing. Maybe the right thing to do right now would actually be to stay away? Jun didn't know. He never found himself in a situation like this before.

 

"Wouldn't..." he asked hesitantly "wouldn't it be better to let him forget it all?" Jun asked Ayme. "Clearly this isn't doing him any good" he added as his eyes shot to Yukie in concern "maybe it would be simpler to just have him think of me as a caregiver, nothing more". He wasn't sure why, but somehow Jun found himself feeling a little stab at his own words. But that sure wasn't the time for him to go there.

"I- I don't know" Ayme replied his voice showing some panic and a deeper fear in it as he gently touched Yukie's face. "...do you want to forget?" Ayme asked Yukie not wanting his twin to be in pain over something like remembering others. Ayme knew Yukie didn't ever mean to forget anyone but, after he had lost everyone close to him and he had gone through so much grief and then some horrid injuries it was understandable his twin wasn't coping as well as anyone else. "It's okay to be afraid and to want to stop trying to fix what wrong....I can accept that you won't be the same" Ayme whispered trying his best to comfort Yukie who was quite distressed over the whole issue.

 

"...I've already lost enough people...I know I'm difficult and complicated, but I'm trying to be good and make everyone happy" Yukie whispered his body shaking from the cold air. "Father, mother, Beu and the kids...they, I-I can't remember them who they where or what they looked like. I don't want that to happen with you two" Yukie admitted laying out his deepest fears. "I don't want to end up alone and confused again...I don't want to be a monster" Yukie added feeling Ayme gently hug him.

 

"I'm sorry...I'm sorry for forcing you to try and get better...for constantly trying to fix you with medication" Ayme whispered looking at Yukie who only looked scared and confused. " I'm only hurting you by trying to make you something your not, you aren't human you shouldn't have to keep looking human and carrying around this damaged body, if I would have let you change more often you wouldn't be so sick and you would be able to remember." Ayme admitted sadly his eyes full of hurt and remorse. "I thought keeping you like this would be best and help you finally find someone you love and want to be with but this human form is only causing stress and misery."

The further the conversation between the two twins continued, the further out of place Jun felt. As is, this thing was much more a family thing than a matter an outsider should be a part of. Not to mention an almost complete stranger, seeing he just started working for them. And that even before talking about the fact Yukie couldn't seem to remember him at the moment.

 

And yet, even though he didn't feel like he belonged there, it didn't seem right to just walk away either. After all, Jun made a promise. And turning his back on Yukie when he was this bewildered would mean breaking that exact promise. With a small sigh, Jun reached out his fingers to hold onto those of Yukie's- the only touch he found reasonable considering the hug he was already in. "Don't worry" he said with a reassuring smile "none of us is going anywhere. I already told you it's going to take more than that to scare me away. And as for forgetting, well" he chuckled "I don't think you could ever forget how other young master looks like. All you have to do is look in a mirror".

 

For another moment, he remained silent. Ayme's comment about not allowing Yukie to shape shift was a little like a slap in the face. Of course he had no ill intention when he told Yukie not to do so, it was just so he would be able to better take care of him, but Jun still felt a little guilty. If that was making things so much harder for the harder he didn't want that. "Hey Yukie" he said as he gently pulled on his hand "show me how you look. Your true form" he couldn't say he was completely unafraid. What did demons even look like? Did they all have horns and a tail like in stories? But that didn't matter right now "I promise I won't run away. So won't you show me?" he asked quietly.

"This is what I look like" Yukie whispered his body changing quite easily as he stared at the male (second picture for facial features). "It's more so the creatures that follow me around and the spirits that others fear" Yukie added a deep sadness in his eyes as a small child stood beside him the spirits being his own children. (Basically spirits look like the blue glow in first picture). "Alot of people don't like what I do, it can be scary when they get angry and I can't calm them because I'm still learning" Yukie admitted his hand gently touching the child's head his body quite in a way more demon but still keeping the face Jun knew. Despite the creepy darkness and, spirits that followed him Yukie looked somewhat the same the only difference in features is that he looked much more serious.

When he asked Yukie to show him his true self, Jun was honestly ready for the worst. As he stood there with his breath held, all he could do was mentally prepare himself and try to make sure not to react in any way that might offend the other and make things worse. But when he finally took in the seemingly new man in front of him... well, that was not what he was expecting.

 

"What's this?" a shadow of a smile found it's way to Jun's lips "that's not scary at all" he muttered as he unconsciously reached to touch Yukie face. It wasn't all that different from what he was used to, and he didn't find the new... additions to the other's surroundings very intimidating either. Quite frankly, the shark was scarier. "Is this really what you thought I would be scared of?" he asked, now a clear half smirk on his face "young master if you would have come to the club like this the first night I might have went with you home back then" he said with a small chuckle. Was this really what Yukie was scared of him finding out? How silly, he thought. There was no way something like that could send him packing.

"Can we eat him?" One of the.ghosts asked getting a glare from Yukie that would scare anyone else half to death.

 

"You aren't allowed to touch Jun." Yukie stated his voice cold and quite harsh as if Yukie was purely acting like a true demon. "They won't leave me alone..and some do get angry and try to hurt those around me or destroy things" Yukie explained watching past Jun as a few of the ghosts started deflating the tubes. "It's exhausting" Yukie admitted.
