I'm definitely pleased the vote went my way this time. I read books usually within a day or two (if they're interesting) so I probably won't join the discussion until week 3 Although it looks like some people already read it

I hope the book is enjoyable for you Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. .....

So I have read the first edition (didn't realize there was a second one but thanks for mentioning Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. ). I checked the second edition now and the main events remain the same (the ending etc.) and the second edition has almost same number of pages as the 1st. So I believe that it doesn't really matter which edition you read but probably second one is better as it has some extended scenes and probably better editing. Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. haha yes 900+ pages is daunting but I couldn't put it down (hence it taking over my life like ICOS and Soldiers did the last time xD). Just read it when you have plenty of time Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. I think you guys will enjoy it as it is different from usual MM books. It has a lot of action, drama and angst haha. For me, it was a nice read and Tal Bauer is one of the authors I really like (hence why I have already read all books by him xD)
SapphireBlue
It would probably do me a lot good to read all the three pages before asking questions....one would thing i knew that by now.... Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. thank you for the reply and oh man, i thought only whisper was more than 950 pages....so we still need to read that much....should have known if by Tal Bauer it probably wont be less than 700 pages....hehe Ok looking forward..... lama007
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. you are welcome. haha yes Tal Bauer= long books which I secretly love. But this one is around 300+ pages, maybe because there could be a sequel but I am not sure about that yet. Happy reading!
bondingboys
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. thank you for your confirmation! I'm going to reread this book, the 2nd edition one! Also! Wow! You amaze me, lama! You have read all Tal Bayer's books, even "Whisper" with the 900+ pages of heavy theme and twisted plotline! Bravo! (Now I'm curious, how many MM/LGBTQ+ books you usually devour per month, which MM book you will immediately recommend if anyone ask, and who is your favorite Author in MM/LGBTQ+ genre?) lama007
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. You have read the first edition one already? Can I discuss some stuff with you? But I think perhaps it is better that you reread the second edition and we wait for others to read before I start haha xD haha yes I have a reading obsession *bookworm* (I guess I have no life OTL).Because of reading so much I sometimes don't remember everything I have read (my brain I guess has only so much space xD). So my recommendation list will keep getting longer as I remember more what I have read OTL
bondingboys
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. ! I have books obsession, too! But sometime I'm too picky to choose which title I need to read immediately and I get bored easily . . . That's why I have this growing TBR-list and some books got dnf'd fast. ): Anyway, I've read the first edition of "A Time to Rise" a couple of years ago so I think I need rereading to refresh some details. But, yes! I want to discuss about one particular character that I've never guessed would have that kind of "past-relationship" (I thought he was ace/demi, dammit! I got excited for nothing aaaargh) and that certain ending, Lama! But, I agree; better to wait without spoiling much for other readers here. lama007
Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. hi5 on the book obsession. yeah I can be picky too. So many books but so little time... yes you should reread it if it was long ago. I read this one recently after reading Whisper so I remember some details. I also want to discuss the ending and some side-characters, one in particular with the twist at the end (I think you are referring to the same one) but let's wait for others to join the party
