♠[Rin]♠
Aleksander folded his hands behind his back and leaned against the wall behind him. He tilted his head a little, smiling up towards the taller male. "Do I happen to trigger your sadistic tendencies or are you just really resentful?" Well, no matter what it was... Kaiser had a point and he knew it. The blonde once more checked the corridor for any dangerous people, but right now he seemed safe. However, as he thought about it, of course it was safe here, given that he was talking to the brunette. That was bitter. "So you are saying you do participate in the system in the end? Because I've heard you stopped doing that some time ago."
LoneDigger
"Heard from who exactly?" Kaiser tilted his head, and this time he was genuinely perplexed. Sometimes the rumors that floated around this place even surprised him. Or was it true and he just hadn't been able to think about it properly since the Ruskie was always fucking around with him and making him feel even more idiotic than usual. ♠[Rin]♠
The Russian shrugged his shoulders. "Dean, Jason, Alfredo... To sum up a few. I guess you were too busy to notice. After all..." He pushed himself off the wall and took a step forward to stand right in front of the brunette. He tip-toed and leaned in, whispering the words he chose to say next. "After all, nobody ever knows what you are thinking. By the way, that confused expression looks pretty cute on you." It was really hard to suppress the urge to drive his fingers through the other's hair. His pet was quite badass but also somewhat adorable to him. He wasn't afraid at all. LoneDigger
Kaiser didn't know what came over him, but something about having the other so close and mocking him was finally enough to make the dark haired male snap, as with no warning at all and just as quick as it had happened his fist connected with the Russian's face violently, throwing him off balance no doubt. ♠[Rin]♠
Given that he was so near, it was hardly possible to avoid the punch. Aleksander's head swayed to the side and he stumbled backwards against the wall, where his shoulder met the rough material quite forcefully. However, he could keep himself up on both feet, holding onto the wall with one hand. He exhaled through his nose, feeling pain shooting through his back teeth and drumming on his cheek bone. The Russian lifted his head back up and looked back up towards the brunette still standing there like a mountain in a storm. At first, there was death in his lavender eyes, but that expression soon changed to ... satisfaction. Mr Nice-Guy, huh? What a charade, what a lie. He remembered asking his pet what the prison life had made of him and this was the answer. Acting all cool and calm and peaceful, but his patience was still thin. He was still dangerous. He wouldn't live through a week out of this facility without getting into trouble. However, Aleksander was clever enough not to comment on the current situation. Instead, he just nodded. "I got it, no worries. I won't do that again." The smile on Aleksander's lips was empty, but it was still very much there. His panther had punched him, what a bastard. How would he deal with that if this wasn't prison? He didn't know, honestly. Put a gun to his head? Probably worthless, given that he didn't want him dead. Fight back? Well, the differences in height, body weight and strength were speaking for themselves. What a nuisance. But Kaiser was still the best option he had. Had the tables turned without him noticing? Would he have to live with a compromise? - Nonesense! He was still the one leading here! He would draw the path Kaiser would go and it wouldn't be the other way around! LoneDigger
Kaiser didn't even know why he did that... It wasn't like the worst thing the other had even done or said. But yet for someone having him so close to his face like that was not a welcomed move on the Russian's part. No, he should stay the fuck away from him. Like everyone else did unless they were a part of his circle, which the Ruskie was not and would never be at this rate. "I can't say the same." It was true, he was certain there would come a time when he could hit the other again and again. Hurt him in any way possible really, that's just how he was when it came to those who got in his way. ♠[Rin]♠
"For me, that's okay." Geniune tenderness filled the smaller one's voice as he said that. He adjusted his top and shot a glance at a small group of other inmates who had been watching the whole time, however upon being looked at, they turned around and left the scene. Aleksander's eyes met the ones of the brunette again and he gave him a comforting grin. "It really is." If his panther could get rid of his frustration with violence, it was no problem at all. As soon as they would be out of here, there would be plenty of such work in front of him. There was no reason to change, at least not in Aleksander's opinion. Sure, a little bit of molding would be necessary to introduce him to his new lifestyle, but otherwise he was perfect as he was right now. Speaking of lifestyle, Aleksander was quick to notice that a certain someone had turned the corner at the other end of the corridor. Oh shit, what a bad timing. That was the guy who was after him. What was his name again? Frederick? "Well then, if I am not mistaken, you were on your way to your work-out~" he turned his attention back to Kaiser. LoneDigger
"Don't worry about where I'm going, worry about him." Kaiser parted, cruelly leaving the other to deal with... whoever the fuck the big guy was. He didn't remember his name nor did he care... Or so he thought. Well, he already knew that Ruskie was a killer just like him. So maybe punching him was kind of asking for it. But the other said they were all cool, so... It was probably a lie. But a good one. He knew that he could handle the larger man, if he anything he knew was right so far it would have actually been interesting to stay behind and watch, but he couldn't break his routine. So off to the gym he went.
♠[Rin]♠
Time fly by mercilessly as the day slowly faded into the night. Throughout the evening the floors became lonely and dark. Aleksander had stayed in the library until closing time, skipping Dinner. When he left the library, it was rather cold in the corridor without the company of other humans. One of the white light bulbs on the ceiling was flickering, which added quite the tension to the already uncomfortable atmosphere. Like this, the hallway looked pretty similar to various asylums of horror movies. The blonde folded his arms over his chest to save some warmth and moved along. He had heard about a fairly rough fight in the gym only a few hours ago. As far as he knew, his pet had been involved. He didn't doubt that the other was the winner, but he disliked the thought of anyone harming him enough to make him useless. Seeing as this was prison and that the chance of weapons being used was pretty low made it less dangerous, however at some point he would lead his pet outside of this facility and then real threats would await. LoneDigger
Aside from a few bruises and a bloody nose Kaiser was no worse for wear. He tried to stay out of trouble now that his time was down to two more months. But Hell, being able to loose control a little like that felt good. He was sure the other guy wasn't going to walk that one off, but that only made him stagger along with a deeper sense of pride. Weren't they all just animals? Probably even worse than that though. This place was a fucking zoo, but instead of animals in cages you got inmates, killers and rapists, the worst of humanity all within a small space and they didn't expect shit to go down? Idiots. ♠[Rin]♠
As he followed the corridor and turned a corner, a certain huamn being caught his eye. It was his panther, to be precise. The form wasn't so specific, but the darkened hair betrayed him easily. Lavender orbs met emerald hues in the same moment and Aleksander couldn't help but put on a questionable smile. He walked up to the other with no hesitation whatsoever and tilted his head a little the moment he came to a halt right in front of the brunette. "You look bad. Does it hurt?" Aleksander lifted a pale hand to the side of Kaiser's cheek, but didn't actually touch him, it looked more like he was just studying the bruising that had started to evolve. His pet had gotten in a fight, which was a little funny. So much to being a nice guy. LoneDigger
Kaiser stopped as he stood in front of the smaller male. He had such weird eyes... come to think of it every fucking thing seemed strange about him. Not entirely in a bad way though, but he never trusted someone like that. Maybe because he knew. The dark haired male tilted his head slightly, as if giving the other a better angle to admire his battle scars, but instead all he was really doing was slightly averting his head so he could spit out the blood that was dripping down his face crudely on the floor by Aleksander's feet. "Does the world keep spinning?"
♠[Rin]♠
"So grumpy," Aleksander sighed, as if he had given up on trying to lighten the other's mood. "How did it feel to get into a fight again? Are you still going for the good-guy act?" His hand sunk back down, however instead of moving back to his side, he took Kaiser's left hand into his own and used his free hand to move the other's fingers playfully. He bent them and straightened them again, his glimpse focussed on only that, it honestly looked like this simple action relaxed him, even if the blnode didn't even seem stressed or upset. LoneDigger
Kaiser scoffed softly, but he didn't pull away his hand when the other made a move to grab it. Usually things would never play out so simple, but he was calmer thanks to letting it all out on the guy who dared piss him off. Alek would have probably noticed the bruising on his knuckles if not for the dried blood. "Holding hands now? And I thought you were just trying to get yourself killed." ♠[Rin]♠
Aleksander laughed at the cold joke, though he didn't move his eyes from the foreign hand in his grip. He stroked over the other's palm with his thumb and carefully studied the remains of the fight on the knuckles. "I bet you've never held hands anyway." Grinning, he rose his glimpse to meet his pet's shining emerald eyes. He really looked much more relaxed now. It was a simple equation that people would get calmer as soon as letting their anger out on someone. "Besides... nah~ Getting killed isn't exactly my goal. But it honours me that you care about my well-being. Do you like me that much~?"
LoneDigger
"I wouldn't say so." He stood still, his eyes watching the other intently. His gaze was intense as ever, but his body was more slack than usual. Time was not longer moving naturally to the man, he was beginning to think that it was some kind of endless eternity. Was he already in hell and didn't know it? He guessed it could have been worse. A lot worse, so he must still be alive. But what did that make the the Ruskie? Maybe he was just another angel of death. "You're still leeching and getting away with it, you don't have to be likable."
♠[Rin]♠
The other's gaze felt like a glass piece stabbing his chest, but it was bearable. He was used to being watched, to be honest, then again, it wasn't like he could draw a gun in here against anybody if someone found that attacking the Russian was a good idea. "So what about you then? You have a barely a whole year left in here, hm? What will it be that you do the moment you step out of this hell?" Aleksander bent Kaiser's fingers inwards, then straightened the index finger. "Will you go to a family member for help?" He added the middle finger. "Will you pay the employment agency a visit?" Ring finger. "Ask a Christian facility for a bed and a piece of bread?" Little finger. "Or will you sleep under a bridge on the streets, catch a cold and die of hunger and thirst? And most importantly..." Finally, he let go of the other's hand and took a step forward, invading the other's privacy, hands folded behind his back and his head slightly tilted. "What are you going to do until that time arrives?"
LoneDigger
"Those are my options, huh... Kind of a dull way to live after being stuck in here." Kaiser murmured as he allowed his gaze to drift upwards, giving a little stretch. If anything, Alek always forced him to use his head, it was kind of like a mental challenge, but it kept him alert. He liked the challenge it brought. "You always act like you've got everything planned out... I'm sure that's typical of how you are taught, right?" ♠[Rin]♠
"Hm..." He hummed, chuckling under his breath. Aleksander slid his hands into he pockets of the ugly prison uniform he was wearing and shrugged his slender shoulders. "I don't act like it, I am really that clever. Can't say that from most of the other inmates here. Don't you get bored of this? Fights, sex, violence, apathy. That's all that is here." It wasn't like Russia was any better, to be honest, but he wasn't going to eliminate his own statement. "You see, strength is not always the key. Intelligence is." Maybe he was just saying that in defense of his own lack of strength, though it sounded pretty either way, and there was a little truth to it. LoneDigger
"You don't think I've heard the same lecture already? You're not fooling anyone. We all know how it is and you're just trying to delay the inevitable." Sometimes he wondered if the other man was the spoiled type, like the only reason he ended up in prison was because probably he had too easy of a life and wasn't ready to face the reality. When he couldn't earn his way so easily, he probably resorted to crime. But it wasn't that simple, Kai knew Alek wasn't just harmless or nearly as stupid as he looked. ♠[Rin]♠
"Delay the inevitable? Is that a threat?" Kaiser had a point. It wasn't like he had anywhere to run. The taste of that awareness was bitter. One day, he would either have to kill someone or bow his head, and neither sounded appealing. Putting more names on his death list would be a waste of energy and the latter option scratched painfully on his pride. "So~? What do you suggest I should do, seeing that you are so experienced?" Yes, his pet was an option as well. Maybe an option which wouldn't be so bad to take. They still needed to cross a few lines so he would get what he wanted, but the start was a good one. ♠[Rin]♠
The blonde acted shocked sarcastically, pulling his right hand out of the pocket and setting it on his chest. "Are you afraid of me? I am harmless!" He giggled afterwards, sinking his hand back down to his side. "What's your option? A bunch of disgustingly over-used corpses? Another fight just to get rid of your anger and frustration?" His grin faded away and brought back the empty expression he usually wore. His gaze wandered around the dirty floor, the corners covered in dust and dried blood drops. "I clearly see why you offered me a spot by your side before. So I must be worth the trouble, hm?" His lips curved back into a smile as his gaze found Kaiser's eyes again. "Besides, who said I would be bad for you~?"
LoneDigger
"I didn't say anything." Kaiser smirked slightly, he couldn't help it. Alek was just being so... well, himself. And he just could never bring himself to really hate the other. If he had, then things wouldn't be where they were. Kaiser was hardly a good guy, though it could be argued as an accident, it was still killing as a means to survive.
♠[Rin]♠
The blonde folded his hands behind his back, tapping on the ground with his foot playfully. "So, granted that you were to, let's say, convince a few people to leave me alone, what exactly would you like in exchange?" Of course, as soon as they were out of here, there was almost no limit what he could offer his pet. Money really wasn't a problem and though he didn't know if Kaiser appreciated materialistic values, that was what he would most likely get. Sure, they would be glued together for the rest of the brunette's life, however Aleksander still saw the other as some kind of freshly bought kitten instead of a equally ranked human being and there was still this shimmer in his lavender eyes which proved that.
