Don't Worry, Darling, I Will Make It Quick [Rin&LoneDigger]

The Russian instantly noticed that his pet was in a way worse mood than usual. He found it funny, he really did, but he kept himself from laughing out loud.

He sat down next to the taller man and set his tray on the table with a little thud sound. There was only tea and two toast slices with butter on them on it. Aleksander crossed his legs under the table, took one of the slices into his hand and bit a piece off. He chewed it, trying to estimate whether or not it tasted like nothing or it tasted bad. He came to the conclusion that it was the prior and therefore edible. He would enjoy the five star restaurant and hotel after this mess. By being here he had accidently put himself on a diet, really. Well, nine weeks was better than eternity.

"You look a little angered," Aleksander finally remarked after he had finished the first slice. He took the tea cup into his hands carefully, but it wasn't even hot. It was just tepid. Well, that was one way to ruin a fruit tea. "Is there a way to cheer you up?" He asked along. As he cost the tea, he flinched a little, setting the cup back down. He grimaced, swallowing the overly sugared lukewarm liquid. That drink was a defeat, fuck.

"Did someone piss in your drink?"

Kaiser grumbled, but not as loud as his stomach as he gave in and took a few bites, hating every minute of it but he couldn't starve to death. Not that missing a few meals would do that, but what else did he have to look forward to? Besides freedom, the rest of the day was just the same shit. It had been fun at one point being someone who was respected and feared in this place, but now it was getting staler than the bread served. He couldn't believe that Aleksander had chosen toast. Because somehow prison couldn't even get that much right.

"Pretty sure this is worse," Aleksander said. He put the cup back onto the tray and went for the second slice of toast. Maybe his gustatory nerves would stop tasting anything by the end of the week and he would just go through all this still worse than expected but better than he now expected. Cutting out too much food wasn't an option, he still needed his brain and his strength. "When I was in Mallorca there was a restaurant that served everything in the dark. It was completely dark there and you didn't know what you'd get. I still don't know what it was that they served me but I ate it, not knowing what it even looked like, and it was so tasty that I asked for the receipt. I tried cooking it thrice, but it never came out so good as it was at the restaurant."

As soon as he was done with the toast, he pushed the tray a little away from himself so he could cross his arms on the table. His gaze wandered through the room, observing a few of the other inmates. After a while, he turned his attention back to his pet. "What's the plan for today?"

"... You would just eat anything if you couldn't tell what it looked like, yeah? Maybe human brains is the finest delicacy out there, who knows. Makes for a bad eating fetish though."

God, now Kaiser was starting to talk more like his companion. Instead of just calling him a deranged idiot, or even just ignoring his words because they were just too comprehensible. It was weird how Aleksander was the only one starting to make sense to him now. Or at least someone who wasn't boring to converse with.

"The plan? What the hell do you mean?"

He shouldn't have asked.

"You are right, who knows?" Aleksander chuckled. "Nothing can beat the Asians though. Eating the brain of a living monkey is considered a delicacy there." Kaiser asked him what he meant when he asked for the other's plan. The Russian set his ellbow on the table and rested his chin on his palm, while he played a little with the tasteless food. "Now that you said it, I know you follow routines, so it was probably an unnecessary question. Anyway, I was thinking we could spend a little time together~" He added. "Do you think you've got some time for me?"

"Are you serious? You're a complete waste of my time... But nonetheless in the entertaining sort of way. I can't say I don't enjoy your... riveting stories."

Kaiser was too much a stuck up prick to ever come to admitting that he needed anyone or that they were worth anything to him. But it was clear that he was somehow intrigued with the Russian. And that was putting it politely. The interest went far beyond something as innocent as that. Yet he seemed determined enough to stay out of trouble that it was mostly kept below the surface. Until that moment it had spilled out in a messy, reckless way.

Though the kiss had been worth it.

Aleksander laughed upon hearing his pet's words. "How nice of you to say this," he said. "We could go outside into the yard and take a walk. Unless you feel like playing basketball. I mean, it's not like you could beat me because I am way better than you at playing." He pierced another piece of his food and ate it. His lavender eyes moved around in the cafeteria. "We could play some chess, I saw a board in the library," the blonde added, while his gaze scanned the area for anyone who would be curious enough to watch or listen. However, it appeared nobody had the guts to be near around Kaiser. Playing his pet into this sexual favour for protection system was a win-win situation. Not only could he manipulate him further. but he would also finally be able to enjoy some peace around himself.

Aleksander looked back towards the brunette. His lips curled into a smile. "What do you say?"

"I think just because I lost that once doesn't mean I won't kick your ass this time around."

One time? More like a dozen. He had only ever played one game with Aleksander. But for all things Kaiser was known for, his athletic abilities were not one. It seemed a bit shocking, he was built for it. Though sadly lacked the coordination or teamwork needed for organized sports.

Chess actually was much more his preferred sort of activity, but he hadn't been challenged at that by any doubts so the urge wasn't really there.

"You are right, it won't be any fun to win against someone taller than me again," Aleksander grinned. "Chess it is then? You seem like more of a single-player. Maybe you'll have a chance, who knows?" He didn't think so highly of his pet as to believe that Kaiser would ever beat him in any game. If anything, he was just stronger than him and Aleksander knew that a round arm wrestling would end with his defeat. There were many ways to improve Kai's body, because skill comes with practise.

However, Kai seemed only barely exciting about playing chess. So, he came up with something different. "How about a game about luck, like a card game. Poker, for example. Let's make a match. The one who wins two rounds out of three wins the game. The prize is a wish, anything you want. What do you say?"

"I'm not very lucky as you have might already noticed. So I think you just want to keep winning for your own sense of accomplishment? I don't care, but if it really excites you that much then why deny you that."

Kaiser didn't believe luck was on his side at all. Though there wasn't much to loose and denying the challenge would just be pathetic. It was just better to give Aleksander what he wanted, especially when he was being so reasonable. Not that the other every really acted anything but his usual self, though he knew to remember one thing.

Never trust a Russian.

"Hm, there isn't so much to win, I already have you." Aleksander hummed with a grin on his face. "Yes!" His eyes sparkled with excitement when Kaiser agreed regardless. "That's perfect. I am sure you're going to enjoy our game nonetheless." He was familiar with the rumours going about considering his nationality and he couldn't care less because they were true. It was never wise to trust a Russian, but a game was a game and Kaiser had lost the moment he had kissed him the other day.

"Let's go then!" Aleksander finished his toast and stood up from the wooden bench. He took the end of Kaiser's sleeve into two fingers and gently pulled on it. Compared to the brunette Aleksander was a cheshire cat. "If we are quick to play, you can go to the gym later. I know you like your routines a lot."
