Aoi
No, up to now I wasn't even close to be discovered reading or watching yaoi. But I'm precautious. I keep my mangas in a folder (hard to find) and I read only when no one is around.
cherryyuri
once i was reading online and my brother just poped up on the window of my bedroom. and until now i'm not sure if he actually saw what i was reading or not, 'cause i was sitting next to there. since that day i got lot more precautious.

Rei
Yeah, actually my sister was about to discover my yaoi stuff (ok, I suppose she didn't, but I'm not sure lol) So, it was evening, I went to take a shower. When I got back in my room, my sis was at my laptop, browsing some folders. I asked her what was she doing there and she answered she was looking for some The GazettE PVs which she deleted by mistake from her PC >. I have no idea whether she did see anything or not, but at least she didn't say anything to my parents about it
Lulu-kun
i think not. my parents think that yaoi is just one anime, not a genre xD actually i got my sister and friend to watch junjou romantica with me *proud* i also have a folder where i keep all my yaoi stuff but because only i use this comp, i don't think anyone will see *grin*
YAO(H)I_lover
Well actually I almost got caught by both my mom and dad... It's a funny story... Usually I never close the door of my room but since it was a bit cold that day I closed it and started the heater. So since I felt myself 'safe' from my parents eyes I started watching anime (don't really remember the title)... Then suddenly my dad came in the room to ask me something so I quickly paused it at the safe scene. When he went out when I turned back I was shocked...It wasn't the scene where I paused it. There were two guys hugging each other. It could have been worse scene but still I was glad it wasn't that bad cause afterwards he didn't say a thing about it xD As for the situation with my mom... It was late night and everyone was sleeping, so my yaoi time came. I was reading a manga when my mom woke up to go to drink some water. My room is next to their room and as I sad before I never close the door of my room so she saw me but she didn't see the manga since I ninja-exited the tab rabbit14
Yaoi Eater
Almost? I suppose....Sometimes I barely shut my youtube window where I'm watching yaoi that my mom is right next to me....She kinda likes to sneak....She once opened a portfolio where I had hidden some yaoi fanfiction....that was kinda close. But I think she already figured out that I don't have any prejudices....that I'm ok with gays (more than ok actually )
TOPgasm
I have been caught once by my older cousin, and it's quite a funny story actually since I was the one who got a huge surprise after that unforgettable incident. My cousin walked in on me watching Sekaiichi Hatsukoi on my laptop when she slept over our house. (Mind you, it was already 2am and I thought everyone was fast asleep. Lights off, my earphones on full blast, my eyes glued in the monitor, I was completely in my zone. So I was technically unaware of my surroundings.) Foolish me, I forgot to lock my door and it's unfortunate my back was facing the door so I didn't really see and hear anyone go in. Minutes passed and I was enjoying my own little world, smiling and laughing at some parts ('cause Ritsu is just that cute) when somebody just taps my back causing me to scream in surprise. My cousin's hands tightly clamped over my mouth, the only thing muffling my cry and saving me from waking up the whole house. I got so shocked and nervous in realization that I wasn't alone in my room and I literally thought I would pee my own pants right there and then thinking that I've been completely found out with my yaoi addiction. When I finally calmed myself down, she sat beside me and placed her hand on my shoulder, her eyes still intently looking at the screen. I was ready to defend myself from her, and pray to god that she will understand and hopefully keep this as a secret between us, (Wary of my family esp. my father's reaction, being uptight Catholics) But to my bafflement, she cut me off before I could spit my first word out. "OOooohhh... Yokozawa is sooo evil, threatening poor Ritsu like that, isn't he?" silence(me gawking) "Why didn't know tell me you watch this too? I love this!" Then she squealed and smiled at me like it was the most natural thing to do and continued watching 'my' BL anime, on 'my' laptop, reacting like 'myself' throughout the whole episode. O.O I was surprised to say the least. I just sat on my place for the entire episode just watching and listening to her spazz about the whole show. I was clueless how to react to her. To further my horror/amazement, she started asking me about titles I recognized to be either a BL manga or Ova. My older cousin-slash-elder-sister is a yaoi lover like me! I couldn't effin' believe my luck! Just remembering this makes me happy. 'coz really, How often do you get that?!! Moral Lesson: Double check the locks on the door and beware of stealthy cousins who love yaoi as much as you do.
Guest FujoshiFTW
Not really. Most of my friends know Im a fujoshi, some are even fangirl with me if I bring fanfiction or manga to school and we read it together. As for my parents, they dont check my laptop nor the compartment/drawer in my desk where I store my other yaoi stuff. So its safe you see 8D
Daughter-of-Death
i almost got caught by a classmate i hated at the VOTECH school. I was bringing my yaoi books to school for a friend to borow. we were lookin at LevelC during lunch when she came over and took one of them to look at..."ew, is he eating her out?!" "actually, they're both.." i cut in before my friend said anything else "eh! yes, yes he is." I brought in at least 20 different manga/novels, and she was the only one who came close.
PinkNailsOfDeath
I almost got caught by my mother.. I was lonely home and I wanted to read some yaoi manga.. and one of a sudden I heard the door...I tried to close the page.. but my computer blocked >. I heard my mother's steps coming and I quickly pulled the plug on the computer (that was the only solution I found). Then my mom came in my room and I said "Hi" like everything was okay XD And I really was caught by my cousin when I forgot my phone in his room...He took a look at the pictures..and...well...no comment.. But I gave him some money and he forgot everything XD I must be more careful...
BRIDGET
At home there's my mom & I alone, my mom we share the pc but I have a mini laptop, I never watch at the pc. One day my bor came & took my notebook to look at a sport news and he saw the link to Sensitive Pornograph....he made a fuss, luckily my mom is very open minded & told him to mind his business. Since then I keep by notebook locked when I'm not around. Don't wanna hear my bro yelling at me....
reika101
almost got caught by my mom, but anyways. My brother decided to come into my room just to hang around and i had my headphones on so i thought that it would probably be alright as long as he couldn't see and as long as i could still hear him. WRONG! he talked for a while then he finally asked me what i was doing while moving towards me to sit down. the first thought that came out of my mouth was an instant "EH?!"onionn0you know those moments when your brain just suddenly freezes and the time seems to be slowing down just to make fun of you, and your thinking of 'what the hell move hand!' well thats what happened again.:cuteonion9: he was just about to sit down and that was when my hand moved to quickly open up another anime. i know he was suspicious of my action then but i didnt care. as long as i dont hear him trash talking what i liked! December
never, ever been caught! because a) when i stayed at home with my mom, i had a lock on my door on the outside or inside of my room and because my little brothers at that time loved to go snooping through my stuff (and i was paranoid they'd find other stuff in my room), i made sure to keep my door locked at all times. no one was allowed entry into my room for any reason! and then there was b). i eventually moved out and live on my own. I watch with no worries!
Sasunarufan13
I don't have to hide my yaoi. Sure in the beginning I kept quiet about what exactly those manga were about, but it wasn't too long before my mum discovered it. She didn't make a fuss about it - I was raised openminded and my family isn't homophobic. She doesn't even mind that I have manga that can become explicit - she says she wants to be openminded LOL So yeah, my mum doesn't mind it (she even buys most of the manga and books for me), my sister finds it weird but ignores it, my friends know about it and either read yaoi as well or are neutral towards it and my dad doesn't care (he probably doesn't even realize that I'm reading/watching stuff like that). So my manga are spread out over the room in plain view.

yourstalker
Normally I don't read yaoi in school....to judgemental plus its a heavily religeous school but I had to know the ending of a fanfic by little kuriboh I was reading and i was having FF withdrawals because my internet was cut so seeing as though it was all text anyway i thought to hell with it i'll just read one chapter. All of a sudden it seems everyone spontaniously and inexplicably becomes interested in my life and keep coming dangerously clos to my screan to ask me questions like "can i borrow a pen" or "whats the site were meant to be on again" and this is someone that seldom gets aknowlaged in class at all. I got so paranoid and tense, wary of pertential discovery when my teacher ask me what was wrong I yelled I'm doing my work ((censored for the sensitive)). heheh murphys law....I hate you - - - Updated - - - My yaoi folder is called "Nature at its finest" XD My parents don't know about yaoi and I intend to keep it that way. I envy you my friends call it "jaades wierd cartoon gay porn" (With over empasizeing) I'd love to have more then one friend interested in yaoi.....they'll come around though... beltlane
Nobody know that I like Yaoi but since I left my own country when I was 19 and before i discovered Yaoi ,now i don’t have to hide it i just don't say it . I’m living “alone” I’m just careful with my roommates and people around but it's not a big deal , the only moment that I become really nervous is when someone else is using my computer especially when a friend or a person of family or worse someone from work , most of them( family and friends ) know that I have every thing on my computer and used to explore for see what I’ve got music , movie …… usually before coming back home ( back to France ) I change the YAOI folder somewhere where nobody can find it and erase my historical of course ^^

Dreamer4ever
Usually I am very careful with my Yaoi stuff and I will mix the downloads with my massive picture library which is a huge mess to the point no one thinks its possible to look through everything and just leave it as it is. For my history, I left it as it is as my computer has a password in the first place and no one has ever checked my history so I should be safe, though to guarantee this I make sure to clear it once a month. So far, only my super close friends know about my yaoi love, and I plan to keep it that way. There was one time I was reading a smexy scene and my mom came in my room, luckily my laptop and I was positioned in a way where you can't see its contents immediately. All I could do was go to the next page and to my surprise, it was one of those filled with thoughts of the character in the middle of re thinking. I was saved as my mom who was far sighted left after making me shut the webpage and go back to doing my work. Lucky escape~~ ^.^
