Mikiya-chama
About two years ago, my mom saw a yaoi manga on my bookshelf (Cigarette Kisses, to be specific), and she said the title sounded interesting. I almost panicked when she asked what it was about, but I just casually said it was about office romance, and that was that. Not long after that, I left my laptop open around her and it was open to my fanfiction profile. I didn't think much of it, but I almost died when she asked me about one of my fanfics. It was a Ichiru x Zero fic I'd written, and the summary made it very clear that it was a non-consensual sex scene between two twin brothers. I almost died. Now that I'm in college, I just keep my yaoi manga in a crate under my bed, and I guard my laptop with my life. I'd die if any of my friends or anyone saw my fanfiction. Ero Gaki
Mine was worse. It was a f*cking BARA. I was reading Priapus in le laptop and then our maid told us that the food is ready. I was so hungry so I hid the Priapus Tab by clicking a Google Tab as a display. While I was eating, my sister went in my room because she was going to borrow le laptop and when I came back at my room, my Priapus Tab became a Facebook Tab. When I clicked the back button, the Priapus page was there. So it meant that my sister clicked the Priapus Tab which has a sex scene page on it and then replaced the web address with Facebook. Craaaaaaaaaap XD I do not know why she clicked that tab when the tab I displayed while I was eating was a Google Tab. She could have just used that instead. And so my sister pretends that she doesn't know anything about me reading Bara and she pretends that I do not know that she knew my secret even if I already know that she knows. That is why it feels awkward to be with her. oTL
Ayakashiu
it happenes to me a lot -.-' my mom decides to barge in my room without knocking, only when i'm reading/watching yaoi..i think she developed a sixth sense for this kind of stuff xD but i usually have more windows opened, so i just hide it..also, my cousin just takes my computer, when she comes over, and does with it as she likes.. :1onion49:
Shiroi ookami
The kids I watch make it very difficult to read/watch as I wish even when they're supposed to be in bed. they pick the most inconvenient moments to need things like bathroom breaks drinks etc.... jasonaw2
I hid one of my yaoi mangas above my other mangas. My sister was going near the shelf and my heart was pounding!! But I distracted her just in time.

Yatogami21
My younger brother tries to look at my phone when I left it at home for my summer class. Some of my pictures of anime, including yaoi, is save there at a one folder. My brother look at it while Im in my summer class, and he left my cellphone while the picture of hard yaoi (It was a picture of Kirei and Gilgamesh of fate zero, having hardcore sex) left on the screen. When I came home, I look at my cellphone and shocked on the first thing I see in my phone why it was a hard yaoi in front screen of my phone? I knew my brother was the one who look my cellphone while I left home. I was feeling ashamed and embarrassed on that time after that incident. Scarfhime
I have been found out by my mom and grandma. My friends know because they are also into yaoi/yuri/etc. We affectionately call each other weeaboo trash. But, it was a friend who got my dirty little secret revealed. I'm very good at hiding things and always have been (I figure it's easier to hide things in plain site- my yaoi manga is in the shelf above my bed along with a few novels I enjoyed, my grandma doesn't check my laptop.) but, my friend borrowed a yaoi manga of mine in middle school (against my wishes) and she decided to read it in her living room because she thought her mom wouldnt notice and he mom called my mom and my mom was like 'stop passing out smut all over the neighborhood, i don't care if you have it just don't hand it out!' and my friends mom kept it so I never got it back. This was 4 years ago so, we let bygones be bygones.

JTeer
No, I read my yaoi manga on my tablet so it's difficult to ever catch me reading that stuff. Although most of my friends/family are already aware I am into BL but I’m sure they just think its something innocent bahaha.
teaandyoghurt
I once fell asleep with a book of yaoi fanfiction next to me on the couch and my dad almost read it. Good thing Megs stopped him with a warning of 'I wouldn't...' Of course, a few years later he offered to buy me a yaoi manga from a comic store if they didn't believe I was eighteen. ~Dana
Sly Blue
Yup, many times. But thank god for lightening reflexes when switching tabs.
scottwm
Hahahaha! YES! One time, my brother accompanied me to the printshop to have my BL comics and posters printed for a yaoicon. Then, he came back too early and found a few pieces of my works on the table, being cut to size. He was blankly staring at them. So I pretended to be the cliche type of artist "No! Don't look! I'm shy!!!" while covering them. He swatted my hands and said something like "Art is art, you know." and that stunned me because I still don't know whether he knows what's in the prints or that he didn't see them clearly enough, just blurred colors. My family is very religious so I have to always be careful about my hobbies and my job. D:
Artist-san
no one knows im a fujoshi but once i was in my computer and checking out some yaoi images when my sister came in the house. it was left in a really embarrasing pic and the worst of it is that the computer got stuck -_-'.i was like panicing and i was covering the screen with a sweater (?). then it went back to normal. im pretty sure that she didnt see anything? but im a little suspicious 'cuz i keep the manga names in a notebook so she might of googled it? Idnk. i was like breaking cold sweat .:cuteonion58:

dunno001
I've never felt the need to hide it. I have a few yaoi t-shirts even, though I'm going to need to purge some; they're falling apart from wear!
Senri
I'm open to my yaoi fetishes. Though my parents have no idea how corrupting it is. And with my friends, I'm actually quite proud.
