He is really good at shadow magic and dark magic as well as fire.

 

Weakness is using light magic against him it makes him weak

 

Hiro grabbed a book from his class sighing. He wasn't the best magic apprentice, but he wasn't the worst either, but the one class he was having trouble in was summing class after talking with the teacher they decided to let him take the books out of the classroom and into his dorm room to try summing there he was to bring what he summoned to the class the next day to get his grade. "Damn it." he said walking into his room and started to read the book. Hiro ran his figures through his hair. "I am good at every other class, but this one. I'll be up all night doing this spell. Good thing I don't have a roommate." he said as he started to draw the circle using a mixture of Metal, chalk and blood just like the book said to do.

 

 

Once he was done he checked the circle 4 times before sighing he sighed. "Well here goes nothing." he said as he cut his hand and let his blood drop in the circle. "My name is Hiro here me from the other side. Come to Aid me in my time of need, To make a contract that will last the ages for you and me. Let us both become one as we fight along side each other!" Hiro said knowing that this time would fail as well, but hell he was determined to make it work even if it took him all night long.

"You know this is the fourth time you've called me" Yukie grumbled the demon sitting in the circle looking all to unhappy to be dragged off to do such an appearance. "So, let's speed this up I have dinner in the oven" Yukie added his beautiful eyes looking up at his summoner. "What do you want to trade your soul for? Or are you summoning me to offer yourself as a lover, an act of revenge on the world or you just stumbled upon the book and didn't think anything would happen?" Yukie asked rather disinterested in the male as he played with a beautiful long strand of hair the demon look in almost like a godly human his beauty almost like that of an angel.

"and I'm telling you no this spell should give me a familiar. Not someone like you damn it I must of done it wrong again. Damn it all!" He said rubbing his hand through his hair. "Why does it keep being you. I'm not high enough mage to summon someone high level as you." Hiro said as he went to sit down on his bed. "And this book was going to help me summon a familiar. It says right here that it would summon one to help aid in battles and you want me to offer my soul not gonna happen." Hiro looked at him and sighed. "Your free to come and go what ever you want just don't steal anyone soul." He said frustrated and tired at this point not sure what he just told the demon. "Besides who do I keep summoning?" He asked

"My name is Yukie and while I find this still amusing your spell is not incorrect...The circle is for a familiar but I don't care for taking up the job of being a servent and doing your laundry" Yukie explained with a huff moving a chair over to his circle so he could sit down. "And while your attempt is correct...your writing is sloppy your one word has to long of a line hence why you keep getting me" Yukie added with a smirk his eyes watching the wizard. "Since I'm here I might as well honor my obligations and form a contract with you, I'm sure if you show up tomorrow empty handed you'll be kicked out" Yukie teased waving his hand as his food appeared before him freshly cooked and smelling quite maddening.

"Yukie." he said and shook his head. "No I don't want to form a contract with you and I won't be thrown out yet." he said looking at the demon. "And just so you know I wouldn't make my familiar do that I would only need help with combat training. "And I thought you needed to go home to get that food not make it appear here!" Hiro said it was then he realized that he hadn't ate anything that night and bit his lip the food did smell really good and he missed out on dinner at the dorms. Getting up off the bed Hiro started to clean up the from the spell that he just did. "Well guess I am going in for training tomorrow empty handed." he said his stomach clearly wanting the food. "You do know that you can go back and I was kidding about staying here? Or are you going to bug me?" he said As A mage Hiro has skipped meals all the time it was part of him training. You see you might not known this, but he was someone who wanted to get it right the first few times and would often skip meals.

"Mmh you've wasted lots of my time today I think you owe me for the running back and forth!" Yukie admitted taking a bite out of his wonderful food.

"And what do you think You are going to do about that?" Hiro said looking around the room "And you can just go home alright I'm sorry for wasting your time, but you are not what I want." he said cleaning up the room up. "Besides what would you do to me for making you run back and forth. Until you make a contract your powers should be limited in this world." He said as he picked up the book. "I am guessing you are staying in this world this time?" he said looking at him. "That should also drain your power until you can't stay in this world any longer." he said looking at Yukie. "So I say again what are you going to do about me summoning you again. If you can't think of anything I am going to bed." he said as Hiro finished cleaning he went to his bed and laid down.

"For one so powerful to summon me your awfully ignorant" Yukie replied with a huff his body disappearing as he went back to his domain his eyes watching thethe silly mage sleep.

Hiro looked at his hand. "Maybe I am but I don't want to make a contract if it means selling my soul." He whispered as he soon fell asleep. Tossing and turning all night long.

 

When he woke up the next morning all he could think about was how rude he was to the demon he summoned. Wondering if it was really ok for him to say those things. He looked around the room and didn't see him there. Sighing with relief he left the room after grabbing his book.

 

"Hey Hiro have any luck?" the teacher who leaned him the book asked.

 

"So, So." Hiro said.

 

"Alright if you need any extra tutoring in that area let me know." The teacher said. "Now lets head to class today is the day we train with other for magic powers and spells. we are at level 4's today." he said as he took off.

 

Hiro bit his lip not sure if he was ready for level 4 spells he just mastered level 3 spells. Shaking off the feeling of uneasiness he walked into the platform that they would be training on. When class started they were paired in two's and the teacher decided that familiars were allowed to fight as well. Hiro sighed when he heard that it was just his luck not to have one. Maybe he should of made a contract with Yukie.

 

Stepping up to the platform when it was his turn he shook off the nerves.

 

"Alright lets began." The teacher said.

 

With out waiting the other student sent a blast of light to Hiro as he dodged out of the way and kept dodging until he had a level 4 spell ready and casted it. The other student deflected it and called his familiar. Hiro thought it looked like a light spirit which wasn't good for him.

 

"Shine bright!" The other caster said to his familiar as the Caster started to cast a spell while his familiar was shining bright. "NOW!" The Caster said as his familiar and the caster sent a light spell towards him.

 

"Shit," Hiro said he couldn't move it was too bright and if it hit him he was a gonner he heard about some casters dying when they went to level 4 spells, but never thought he was going to be one of them. As the bright light was coming for him his life was flashing before his eyes. "Yukie, I'm sorry" he whispered before closing his eyes. he wasn't sure what he was saying sorry for, but he did it anyway.

"My such a weak little flashlight" Yukie replied his hand easily catching the light. With a huff he disposed of the spell his eyes watching the two closely before shadows suddenly surrounded them and held them tightly the two unable to move or cast any spells. "I belive I've done my part Hiro, now it's your turn" Yukie added going back to Hiro's side to watch what spell he would choose.

"Yukie?" Hiro said looking at him. He shook his head and casted a darkness blast that sent you h other caster out of the ring. "Thanks for saving me o was dead a f you hadn't shown up." He said then thought for a moment "wait that means you were watching me!" Hiro said

 

His teacher came up nervous "Hiro do you know who this is and how did he come to you?"

 

Hiro looked down "his nam is yukie and I guess I summoned him last night but I told him to go home I haven't made a contract with him yet."

 

"Hiro! Yukie is the king of demons!" His teacher said "if you summoned him that means you are the most powerful here"

 

Hiro looked up at yukie not sure what he wanted for saving him. "And I'm guessing you still want to make a contract after me being an assignment last night?" He askes

"No I could care less about some silly contract...that's all for show." Yukie replied making a nice chair appear for him to sit on the demon amused by the puny humans. "We can talk later...for now I wish to watch your competitors" Yukie mumbled a devilish smile on his lips.

The teacher stood there for few seconds before it sank in the demon king was here and summoned buy an average student as well.

 

"Why were you watching me?" Hiro asked him and shook his head that he didn't want to make a contract now he swallowed knowing that it couldn't be good of what he wanted for him.

 

"Hiro wins this round alright next up." the teacher said.

 

"Just so you know no one is gonna want to fight against me now that I have you right?" he said looking at him. Then stood next to him. Not really sure if he should sit or not.

 

As the next battle began they started to fight the stage was froze and in flames before you knew it with one person having to go to the infirmary. During the matches he was taking notes to find out what each spell does and what was the after effects of it.

 

Between matches he looked at yukie. "ARe you really the demon king? And if so could could a normal mage summon you?" Hiro asked he always wanted new knowledge. He craved it.

"Well sometimes it's a fluke and sometimes the portal isn't properly destroyed after each summoning. Hence why I was able to come back traveling past the portal wasn't easy either. Just be happy you didn't get your ass roasted" Yukie replied relaxing and reading the previous years magic books wanting to catch up.

"Well Thank you for saving me." he said as he wrote all of what Yukie said down. "I'll be sure to be careful next time." he said. "If you hadn't of shown up it would of killed me." he whispered as the stage was back up and the next team was up to fight.

 

This time going up it was light vs fire.with everything that went on it turned out to be a draw after a long battle.

 

Hiro wrote down more stuff about the stuff.

 

Hiro did hear the guy he beat whisper something to the other students. "Look hes taking notes again only so he can get a C in every class so there is no way he summoned the demon king."

 

Hiro sighed and ignored him, Tho he knew this was gonna come up sooner or later he wasn't the best at anything there were a few classes he had A's in but summoning was a C almost a D. He didn't believe he summoned the demon king either

 

As the day went on there were more fights more winners and more looser, After 3 hours of the fights class was over and everyone was dismissed. Hiro watched as everyone left and he bit his lip as even the teacher left giving him a weird glance. Hiro taking it upon him self went back onto the stage and started to practice spells like he usually did after class unlike the others he had to work hard to get the spells right.

"Having caught up I'm here if you need help" Yukie explained gently the male having read all of the spell books the school owned. "I would hate to be the familiar to someone who can't even do the basic spells" Yukie added with a smirk.

Hiro rolled his eyes. "I am working hard so I can be the best, but no matter how hard I work I am not the best at anything I am just normal." He said all of the spells he casted worked after practicing for 20 mins after class he sighed

 

"So about the contract I will do anything you want, but I don't want to cell my soul for a contract." He said looking at Yukie his stomach then growled loudly. "I'm gonna to get some lunch do you want to come with me." He said getting off stage and looked at him. The truth was he hadn't eaten since lunch yesterday and he needed to eat soon.

"You seem to skip around from one topic to the next, but it seems you don't need nor want my help so there's no use for me to become your familiar. As for the should stuff I already explained that's not how it works maybe your problem isn't listening well to what others say" Yukie finished before cleaning up his area with a snap of his fingers. With a small huff Yukie went off to go find the library wanting toto see how far the magic folks had evolved with their powers since he had last spoken to their founder.

"Yeah I am sorry that I skip from one topic to the next Its a bad habit of mine and Yuki I don't know how one should act around others I am not the most social person and I prefer to be alone most of the time. I am sorry if I offended you. listening is a bad habit to thats why I...." he trailed off and held the notebook close to him, "I screwed up again didn't I." he whispered to himself. He watched Yukie leave the area and he shook his head opening his book he wrote down that he needed to start listening to others. When Yukie was out of view he went to the cafe on campus to get something to eat. He looked at the menu but nothing really stood out shaking his head again he just ordered a drink and headed out to study. He knew not getting anything to eat would bite him in the butt later, but he just couldn't eat right now, He sighed as he started to walk to the library so he could study some more.

"You need to stop studying so much" Yukie admitted. Appearing behind Hiro the demon frowning as he sipped his coffee having decided to follow Hiro around after finding the library. " If you don't take care of yourself your just going to end up performing worse" Yukie mumbled annoyed by Hiro's behavior.

Hiro jumped a little when he heard Yukie's voice saying he needed to stop studying so much looking at him he bit his lip before saying. "I can't help it there is so much stuff I don't know. This this is normal for me. I was gonna study something different today, that didn't have to do with magic" he said looking at the book then back at him I have never been good with people how do I say that to him. How do I express how much of an anit social person I am. Until him I just dealt with my teacher. Hiro moved his hands to touch a book he had got it was about human behavior and how to understand it. Turning around he looked Yukie into the eyes and adjusted his jacket. "Would you like to eat lunch with me?" He asked yukie as he ran his hands threw his hair.

"I would be honored it will let me pick your brain a little" Yukie admitted with a pleased smile. "Lead the way to your favorite place my treat" Yukie added happily glad to be doing non school stuff with his new friend.

Hiro looked at him. "Alright I would be more than happy to let you know on anything you need." Reaching his hand out he grabbed Yukie's hand with one last look at the book, he decided to walk beside him. "Theres a great place on campus. They have great food." Hiro said and blushed letting go of Yukie's hand while walking. Maybe this is a new start. Maybe he can help me be social. Hiro thought as he smiled. This was his first time eating with so much. Walking out of the library and thought the school. "If you want we can talk on the way there. Its a little bit of a walk." Hiro said as he adjusted his shirt he was nervous about this unsure what to talk about it.

"I'm fine with enjoying thethe scenery but if you wish to ask questions or talk go ahead" Yukie explained with a small frown the male clearly bored by his surroundings and the calm atmosphere. "How old are you?" Yukie asked a few a few minutes of silence his eyes watching Hiro's nervous body language.

"Thank you I do have a few questions about your world." Hiro said as he was walking to the cafe, "I am 18 years old." Hiro told him knowing that the person beside him, was a hell of a lot older that that. "So um, this place," he said trailing off. "Its nice, but nothing ever goes on here the last big conflict was 100 years ago. My question is What is your world like?" Hiro said trying not to be nervous, but it was hard not to.
