"What? Make a contract with a book? None of the other gimiores require a contract..." he said but his eyes never left the book. He found himself drawn to it. It was amazing. Cadius couldn't stop himself from reached out again and brushing off the rest of the dust. "Can... Can I open it?" He was nervous about getting hurt but he did want to know. He wanted to start reading right away. There was little known about the old magic and no one... no one at school, not even the teachers had ever been able to use old magic.

"That's how you make the contract with it you just open it and read a spell. It has already chosen you so you are special." Amon said smiling. "You are amazing want to try a lost magic spell?"

"YA!!!" Cadius couldn't contain his excitement and opened the book immediately. He looked over the first page and took his time reading over several different spells looking for one that would be relatively harmless.. Though old magic was really powerful and even the harmless ones could do some serious damage if cast incorrectly... Still, Cadius was too excited to think about those kinds of things.

"I'm glad you like it." he said smiling. "Looking over his shoulder and smiled there is a spell to take over andcancel other spells. Here try that one water whip. Looks like there's also stuff that you can do with your blood." He said

"There are even summoning spells... But their different... These spells don't connect to the demon world... Hell... They don't even seem to connect to any of the known planes.. They summon creatures and spirits that don't seem to exist... Look, you can conjure spirits by basically pulling them out of the air.... How weird... Would the cancel spell work on your magic? Can I try? He asked.

"I am not sure if it would work on my magic, but sure we can try." He said. "tho I am intrigued by the blood spells that uses any blood as a weapon." He said and smiled

"Alright I'll stand over on the other side of the room and cast a spell you see if f it works." Amon said walking on the other side of the room and started to levitate an object. "Now don't get frustrated at this spell doesn't work it might not work on demons and only humans." He said

"I thought old magic was universal..." he muttered and began going over the spell. He read it, understood the components, and tried to see just how he would cast it. "Ok I'm ready," Cadius had ignored the blood spells. He didn't find much interest in controlling someone or something by blood. That was terrifying. He took a breath and kept the book over and began focusing on his spell. Nothing was happening.... He didn't know how to use his magic too well... However, all at once, the grimiore started to give off an aura and Cadius could feel the magic flow through him. It was cold... yet warm... as scary as it was, it shot out through his outstretched hand and exploded outward towards Amon and the floating object, actually knocking Cadius backwards on his ass.

"Well that's one way to do it." He said as he watched Cadius fall back from the recoiled of the blast. "I guess lost magic is universal, but you never know" he said smiling watching the magic bounce around the room until it run its Target. The object dropped on the floor. "I guess all you need to do is believe in yourself a little more." He said

"Ow...." As Cadius stood up... his arm was a mess. It looked like it had been run over by a truck... or worse... The bone seemed to splinter and the whole arm was already swelling and turning purple. Near the end the magic wasn't fully able to exit his hand and blew outward in all directions by the time it got to his arm... Thank goodness it didn't explode sooner or his chest would have blown up.

"Give that about an hour and it will heal. Or Just a few seconds by taking my blood, I am guessing that happened because you can't control the flow of magic coming from the old book." He said thinking about it. "Alright I need you to call a book down for me I can't do it since it it a mage book. Say come to me flow of magic." he said looking at him. "We might have to start off with the basic." he said

It took a minute but Cadius finally started to feel the pain as it built in his arm.... Was Amon even looking at it?! There was no way that was going to heal that fast.... "It... hurts..." his voice was high and lost. He was in so much pain and had no idea what to do. Part of him wanted to cry, part of him wanted to pass out... but all he did was stand there shaking, and cradling his arm. He seemed to just ignore everything else Amon said.

Amon sighed and walked over to Cadius and cut open his wrist and whispered. "Drink." In his ear. He couldn't stand the kid to be in pain. So he held the wrist to his mouth if he didn't take it this way he was going to have to do it another way. Amon was guesing he might have to pass it mouth to mouth. "Your immortal and a fast healer now." he whispered

Cadius remained ever frozen. The fact that he was now immortal still hadn't set in since less than a day ago... he was a mortal. Now he was frozen in complete agony with a wrist being shoved in his face... He didn't move to drink it and just stood there in a frozen whimper not sure how to react.

Amon pulled his wrist back and took some blood in his mouth and then kissed Cadius and pushed the blood into his mouth forcing him to drink it. When he pulled back he smiled. "There you go now you should here in a few minuets." He said watching Cadius. "You know it might take a while to get use to, but it will come to you I promise."

Cadius was surprised by the kiss and couldn't seem to stop himself from drinking the blood as it was forced down his throat. When he finally pulled away, he nearly collapsed again. "I'm a failure as a mage..." he whimpered. He learned flow control.. He read the books... but he never had magic to actually control and now he had too much and it was going wild.. He needed a new focus point...

"I know you are in pain, but I need you to say Say 'come to me flow of magic' It will be a book that can help you direct and channel all of your power it will explain it to you as well. Its kind of like spell casting 101 you also need to think of a part of your body to channel your power through and use is through that part." he said

"I tried..." he whispered. "Come to me... flow of magic..." he managed but Cadius was still in pain. He could feel his arm starting to heal but it wasn't fast enough. He hurt so much!!! The human dropped to his knees and grabbed his arm.

A Magic book came down and stopped in front of Cadius and Amon smiled. "Alright this is so much better with someone who can use magic." He said as he grabbed the book and started to read the book. "Alright so in this book it says that you need to find the point of where you want to be your man casting for spells it can me and body part or an object it says that if you use your body you can channel more power, but you will have to meditate and make that part of the body stronger."

"You're confusing me..." he said in a low growl as the bones reset themselves slowly, the skin fusing back together and so on. It fucking hurt so much that Cadius was barely able to hold back the tears welling up in his eyes. "I know about flow control... That's how I didn't die from the spell... But I've never been able to cast magic before... This is so much more power than I could ever handle," he explained.

"That is why we need to start over." He said smiling. "Alright when you are ready I am going to need you to meditate and try to feel the new power you have. You are gonna need to feel the flow of it and I would like you to levitate using it off the floor just a little." He said sighing and looked at him taking a deep breath he set down on a chair next to Cadius. "My question to you is where is your magic flow at its different for each magic user." he said

"Where my magic flow is at? Doesn't it just flow through the whole body?" he asked. He never thought of it as a core so much as something like the blood in his body constantly just flowing. Now it seemed he actually would be able to learn something from Amon. An odd thing to think about but hey... it was a start.

"Yes magic does flow through your entire body, but there is a part of you that contains more magic than normal." He shook his head. "Are they teaching you anything at that school." he said sighing. "Any way to find the core you meditate and feel the energy going through your body, Once you pin pointed that point in your body you can do almost anything. Another thing is if you remove that core of magic from the user they loose all power." he said looking at Cadius. "Are you following me so far?" he asked

"I think so... But I'm sorry... I didn't get good grades and a lot of practical things went over my head because... well I couldn't actually wield magic," he explained once more. Cadius felt defeated and in so much agony. His chest was tight too and he felt like he was failing all over again.

"Don't worry and take a deep breath I am here. Why don't we try meditating so I can know where we are at in terms of energy and stuff like that. I promise I will make you the best mage ever alright." he said smiling. "It will just take time and I will redue your training if you want me to." he smiling. "That why we need to start trying as soon as possible that way you won't hurt yourself any more." he said

"Can I go to bed and start up in the morning?" Cadius voice was low and he was still trying so hard to get his arm to heal. It hurt and Amon was starting to push him in directions he didn't understand. "I don't even know if I'm cut out for magic..." he said more to himself than Amon and with how quiet he was, the demon probably didn't even hear him.
