♠[Rin]♠
Character: Name: Senu Godefe. Age: - Height: 1,69 M. Weight: 60 KG. Hair colour: blonde. Eye colour: blue. Skin colour: pale. Race: angel. Occupation: guardian angel, minstrel (as human). Appearance: Scenery: ________________________________________________ Loud rumbling of wooden carriages, endless chatter of walkers and the yells of sellsmen dominated the streets of the town. Lenghen was popular for its fresh water, its kind royal family and cheerful dances on the royal court. Ever sicne the storm had damaged many houses, people have been re-building what had broken. Nobody had left the town due to high monster activity outside the protective walls. Only one rambler had entered Lenghen after the natural tragedy. A stranger, nobody of great name and no child of a great warrior. Everyone claimed that they didn‘t know him. He had arrived the day prior and had been staying in the Inn since. The minstrel had spread a message from the stranger to every man in town: Sought was a companion for a long voyage, strong and knowledgable of weapons and their usage, who will be rewarded decently. One may meet the stranger at the Inn, where further things would be discussed. The message was spread, and although many mighty warriors and solders were present, nobody dared to leave their home town with so many monstrosities lusting for blood outside. The priests warned everyone about the little chance of survival. Praying would be more appropriate than to challenge one‘s luck outside in the woods. Now, times were tough. People believed in the mercy of some mighty God ruling over the world. He will come to help, and He will award those who stay loyal and pray, the church said. Many compiled, so did the royal family. The king didn‘t want to lose any of his men because of a stranger. Inside of the Inn, Senu was waiting for anyone interested. Ever since he had arrived yesterday evening, he had been sitting at this lonely table with just a cup of water, and waited. Of course, he paid for a room where he had caught a few hours of sleep in the middle of the night. It was rough to get used to a human body, feeling the need of rest, hunger and thirst. It had taken him a while to come to Lengthen because the village he had woken up at was a two days travel away and he had had to earn gold first to be able to travel. Apparently, he had fallen down a water fall, however he couldn‘t remember, the village men had fished him out after a child had nervously told them that something had fallen from the sky. It had looked like a glowing ball, but at last it was a boy. Senu had ditched his holy uniform because it had been too damaged to sew back together. After hunting a few smaller monsters for the farmers, he had earned enough gold to buy an usual linen top with trousers. The holy sword was an irreplacable item which had helped him out a lot during the hunting. However, he wasn‘t a master in fighting. He had faced troubles on his way here. During the day, little monsters would jump around, annoying you by biting your shoes, screaming into your ears and pulling on your clothes. However, as soon as the sun had set, he had seen monstrosities so ugly that he had for the first time doubted that he could defeat them. They weren‘t monsters as known to man, they took human parts as their own body parts, with teeth sharp as knives, eyes wide as a snake‘s, and made sounds as horrible to the ear as a dagger scratching along a stone wall. They were horrendous, unable to be described with words alone, and they were many. Senu had learnt a lot in the past five days about humanity. He hadn‘t had much contact with many different humans in his life so far, being in the middle of his apprenticeship as a guardian angel, so most of what he saw was new to him. The air in the Inn was thick and unhealthily drowned with the smell of wine. The big circle table in the middle of the Inn‘s dining hall was full. Men were drinking, eating, loudly laughing and talking. Food sometimes slid off the table and fell onto the floor. Rats would sometimes jump out of holes in the walls and snatch those pieces of meat or vegetables and leave as quick as they had appeared. Waitresses were keeping an eye on their customers from the wooden counter at the end of the hall and always be ready to serve a new plate. One of the waitresses, a young woman with long, brunette hair, had started to check on Senu ever since he had entered the Inn. The dirty, thick layers of a self-sewn dress moved along with her as she walked up to his table with a smile. A scarf was bound around her head, keeping most of her hair out of her face and behind her ears. The sleeves of her dress had stitched up holes and the ends were blackened with soot. He had seen how she sometimes tried to wipe it off and got it on her fingers, so that her hands were dirty as well. Her cheeks rounded because of her smile. „Are you okay with the water?“ „Yes, thank you very much“, Senu answered. He barely drank, so it was still half-full, while the day was slowly fading into a cool evening. „Mhm,“ she nodded and turned around to leave again. Senu leaned back in the wooden chair. It creaked under his weight as he did so. His bright blue eyes were once again watching the entrance of the Inn. They shone with nothing, no emotion was seen in them in any way, neither on his face. His skin was unnaturally smooth and white, harmonizing with the golden hair on his head. He wasn‘t of great height, though of a slender figure with single muscles becoming apparent on his arms. His sword he had left upstairs in the room he was staying in, while a simple small sack was hanging on the belt he was wearing. He really wondered, would anyone come? He had patience and a good belief in humans, and he wasn‘t sure what he would do if nobody volunteered to help him. It was odd to be all alone. Up in the Observatorium he had been with his mentor, all his life he had never spent a full day alone. His mentor liked to talk, so the silence around him was something to get used to. Suddenly, the entrace door opened. Senu‘s fingers around stopped tapping against the material as his attention swayed to a figure entering the Inn. He hadn‘t seen that man before. Could it be that he would be here for the mission?
