Jahero was about to say something when he felt the weight of Kaito push up on his chest. he smiled a little , Kaito looked cute when he slept. Jahero rode on for the rest of the day until half way into the night when they came to a small clearing where he decided to set up camp. "Kaito wake up, we are going to stop and make camp. Do you think you can help me out?" Jahero said helping him down and setting him on a log. JAhero started to gather wood around for a fire and things of that nature.

Kaito opened his eyes and yawned. Opening his eyes he looked around and he was on a log. "I can try to help you, but I don't know how much help I can be I have never camped before." he said getting up and looked at him as he streched his arms over his head. Looking down he noticed that he could move his knee now, but his back was sore from riding. "What do you need help with?" he asked

" Would you mind making us some food and tea while I put the tent up? and your puppy im sure he is hungry too" Jahero said handing the puppy over and grabbing the tent from the horse and began to set it up in the clearing by the fire. The sky was clear and the night a little chilly. Not to bad but still chilly. Animals could be hear making calling every now and then. Frogs from a lake or river close by sang a song. It was in some way peaceful .

"I can try never made anything over a camp fire before." He said as he started to get everything ready and looked at the puppy who was barking and then went to use the bathroom and ran back as Kaito looked to see what type of food they had. Surprised he found some meat and veggies and he started to cook them

"So what can you do then?" Jahero said as he lplaced the blankets inside the tent and sat down on the other side of the fire to watch Kaito cook " Is just like normal cooking you just dont have temp control really. I mean maybe if we messed with the fire a little bit" Jahero said thinking about it a little bit. He looked up and watched the sky for a moment then took a small drink of alcohol he had stashed away in one of the pockets he had on his clothing. "Are teh stars here the same as in your world Kaito?" Jahero asked still looking up

Kaito was cooking trying to make sure everything was done when he heard the questions. Kaito looked up into the sky and smiled. "I don't know where I am from I never see the stars the city it just too bright for that and I have never been out of the city before." He said as he looked back down and cooked some more wishing he had other things to put in with it instead of just the meat and veggies. It was almost an hour before the meat and he threw the veggies in when it was almost done to give it some more flavor. "Do you have plates?" he asked as he set the pan on the grass to cool it down a little.

Jahero grabbed two bowl like plates out of his saddle and handed them to Kaito. "Why would you want to stay in the city all the time? I mean from the way you make it sound , it isnt a place anyone would really want to stay and live" Jahero said looking at kaito by fire light

"I can't say for sure. I guess because everything is right there if I need something all I have to do is walk out of my house and buy it." He said. Kaito started to dish out some food and looked at him. "My parents were going to take me camping like this once, but it never happened they got into a car accident and died the day before we were going. After that I had to get a job to pay for stuff and I never had any chance to go camping."

"what were they like? your parents I mean?" jahero asked taking a big bite of the hot meat and veggies. "Hot hot hot" he said in a quiet voice as he blew on his bowl of food. He took a piece off and throw it too the puppy who was chasing a bug at the time.

"They were nice and kind I think they worked to hard all the time, but that was just them they wanted to give me the best chance at life." he said looking at Jahero and then stabbed the meat with a fork and blew on it then ate it. "I hope you can guide me in this world and what was your parents like?" he asked looking at Jahero as he took another bite

Jahero ate some more of his food as a flash back of his parents come into his head. His mother a beautiful woman with auburn hair, simple build and blue green eyes always cooking the best foods. Her smile always making him feel warm inside. His dad, the quiet type. But a good man, he thought jahero how to transform and they would get into trouble sometime.

 

"My parents were good people. They thought me well I think, Im not such a bad man." Jahero spoke with a kind of silence in his eyes as he ate some more and then gave the rest to the puppy. Petting his head as he ate.

"My dad looked just like me when he was growing up. People would say I was his twin. My mom had long blond hair that was down to her middle back." He said. "But I cant remember anything else about her and I don't know why." He said sighing as he ate the rest of his food. After he got done eating he laid down in the grass and stared up at the starts. "I do love it so thank you for bring me out here." he said as he started to hear russling in the woods.

Jahero listened to the noise. Grabbing the puppy he played around a bit. " Whats that pup? watch it watch it" He said as the puppy focused on the noise. A few more movements in the brush and then silence. Everything went quiet when out of no were a black wolf demon puppy rolled out of the bushes and tackled the with wolf dog puppy.

Kaito looked over seeing where the sound was coming from and saw a demon pop out of the bushes Kaito got up to run over to get his dog when a sharp pain went through the wound and he fell to the ground. "What is going on right now?" He said as he went to hold his leg and looked at his dog. "Will she be ok?" He asked. "Will the demon dog hurt my puppy?" he whispered

Jahero was too busy laughing to notice Kaito had fallen down. "How cute will you look at that" JAhero said picking the black puppy up by the back of the neck. "What are you doing all the way this way? kinda far from home huh?' Jahero asked not really hoping for an answer. The puppy looked dirty and somewhat beaten up. " Your pups okay to Kaito and she's a he remember?" Jahero said putting the black puppy down and watching the two play again . " Isnt that kinda cool that they have a friend to play with?" Jahero said is a cheerful voice. He had a weak spot for baby animals.

Kaito smiled and looked at the animals. "They are cute, but where is that pups mom shouldn't she be close by?" He asked. "oh yeah I forgot that she is a he I never really checked." he said and watched the two animals play. "I wonder what is going to happen to the pup "What happens if it doesn't get home?" he asked

"I want to keep him. He has spunk " jahero laughs taking a piece of meat out of the pot and feeding it to the pup. "He needs a name tho Maybe Onix? what do you think Kaito?"

"For the demon pup or the white pup?" He asked looking at Jahero not really sure what he wanted to do. Did he want to keep both dogs. The pain in Kaito's leg slowly faded as he pushed himself off the ground and stood up. "They both look cute together do you know." he said smling

"No for this black pup right here. Onix is black right? its prefect!" jahero said with a smile. Then he stopped for a moment. "Oh Kaito im sorry are you okay? I got so happy about the puppies that I didnt even help you after you fell down"

"gee thanks I see where I fall." He said rolling his eyes and shook his head. "Yeah its great so are we keeping him?" He asked and looked the white puppy. Then only name I can think of for the white pup is luna, but most of the time that is a girls name." He said thinking about it and sighed. "I'm sorry I am no good at names Jahero." Kaito rubbed the back of his head trying to think of something.

"How about lunar? or eclipse? those are moon like names " jahero said cleaning Onix off with a damp rag. "Yet he is all mine. man it will be nice to pet a dog and not have to be one. " Jahero stood and headed towards the tent placing Onix inside. He then moved towards Kaito and offered his hand. "Come on lets get into the tent and rest we have a long day ahead of us " he said calmly

"I like Lunar, And what about the fire shouldn't we put it out?" He asked as he took Jahero's hand so he could help him to the tent. "And I don't know if I will be able to sleep tonight you know I did sleep all day long." he said looking at him. "Lunar lets go. Its time to sleep." Kaito said and looked at the fire.

"The fire isnt going anywhere and if we put it out then there is nothing keeping the bigger animals away" jahero said as they all got into the tent. "And as far as you not being sleepy i can fix that if you want , but i dont think you will like it. However if you dont sleep tonight i wont let you sleep during the day. and it will suck for you so your call" jahero said removing his shoes and things and wiping Onixs paws of dirt.

"How would you help me get to sleep? I don't know about sleeping during the day. I need to get better and riding horses. I know I am not very good at it yet." He said making sure lunar was in the tent with them. Thinking it over for a but Kaito opened his mouth and spoke. "I don't understand how you can make me sleepy I think about it and I can't."

Jahero smiled but didnt feel like beating around the bush. "Well we could fuck. Im sure I could tire you okay after and hour or more. You will at leasat forget about any pain you have im sure. I mean im not trying to brag or anything like that Im just saying " Jahero spoke as he folded his shirt and socks. Laying Onix next to Lunar in their own spot in the corner of the tent. "So ?" jahero said looking at Kaito calmly
