An Ancient Feud (Private, 18+)

“I couldn’t believe it either but it was a tree with pink leaves on it!” Ash said with wide eyes before they changed the topic of conversation to swimming. “I can’t say I know how greatly but I can keep myself afloat, can’t move but won’t drown” He nodded, wondering if swimming was a common occurrence to the outsiders. Was swimming a typical activity? He knew he wanted to keep the conversation going until they were done..mating. “I am sure they can teach us among all the other things we will need to learn. Kaine said we can both be kids and he will try and help me find mates” He nodded, hoping Ren would be able to find a mate and make friends as well.

 

Tenmos own groans and moans were stifled by their kiss, wanting it to last forever but knew they would come back eventually so he couldn’t tease him like he might normally. He kept a steady pace, hands exploring the others body. Something felt good about the love making on an exotic island, added a certain feel to it all

Ash telling him that he could keep himself alfoat but not move made Ren nod not sure how he'd feel about the idea of being in deep water but knowing he'd do his best to at least try it if it made Kaine and Tenmo happy. His mind was roving when Ash started speaking again, hearing that the pair wanted them both to be kids and would help Ash find a mate made him really happy. "Yay! I get to help him pick too right?" Ren asked wanting to help Kaine find mates for Ash. He didn't like the idea of just anyone being with the other and wanted to make sure he was happy too. Even if it was probably an odd question he knew Ash better than they did and wanted to help find someone nice for him.

 

Kaine knew they couldn't drag this out and tease like they normally would. There would be other times for that right now wasn't one of them. Especially since it left Ash and Ren out there in the forest alone and that was something he didn't want to be doing for very long. The steady pace had him quickly approaching his climax and he continued to do his best to hold back any sounds that wanted to escape him. There was something about their location that just seemed to add to it more but he didn't focus on it much. Pressing his lips to Tenmo's neck he kissed the spot before catching his lips in another kiss, nails gently running along his back. It wasn't long after that and he was climaxing with a groan into the kiss panting when their lips parted and he was able to try to steady his breathing once more.

“We will figure out how to swim together Ren, and then we can see even more things if we can swim” Ash reassures him with a smile. Even if were cats were not ones for swimming, most probably could if they tried. He only really had himself and was learning other more important skills before swimming. Ash chuckled when Ren mentioned helping to pick a mate for him, smiling softly with a light laugh. “Of course you can help Kaine” He pat his head lovingly

 

Tenmo let out a low purr of a growl at the kisses on his neck and especially at the nails that dragged down his back. Soon they had both climaxed, laying against the other and giving him a gentle kiss. “Here’s to the start of parent hood darling..” He said with a warm smile.

Glad to hear that Ash approved of him helping Kaine find him a mate made Ren quite happy especially as his head was pat lovingly. He just wanted to make sure that the person who had done so much for him was with someone who treated him well and who they all got along with. Not wanting to take the chance of anyone coming between them.

 

A smile was his response to his husband's words, "A perfect start if you ask me." He responded giving his husband another kiss before they had to part and get dressed again. Heading back out of the tent they went to get the two so they could be together again and spend the rest of the day together. The rest of the week passed much in a haze, at some point the elders had thought they had gained enough trust to actually stay in the village which was appreciated even if unnecessary. They had willingly agreed and moved in for the rest of the trip. Kaine had made calls to get the proper paperwork for Ash and Ren and would be picking up the papers along with passports for them at the airport.

 

That morning they had left early to go shopping for the boys and get them a good outfit to travel home with and a few other items to help with the flight back. The airport went smoothly after Kaine had gotten the papers from a contact and purchased their tickets back. It wasn't long before they were boarding the plane, he got it so they were all sitting by each other with no one else in between any of them taking up two rows to ensure that Ash and Ren would have a comfortable flight. Ren had bright wide eyes the entire time and clung closely to them as they moved around the airport and boarded the plane. Kaine had ensured that the three had been able to have one last hunt before leaving that morning knowing there would not be another opportunity to do so.

Ash was scared stuff as he was dressed in these clothes that felt weird against his skin. There were buttons and these things called zippers and he felt weird wearing these and the things that covered his feet called sneakers. It felt weird to have his toes restricted to a small area. What felt even weirder was getting on the airplane. The movements felt weird and he went wide eyed when the giant contraption started to move and go up into the air. He could see the clouds..okay..really high up..It was cool but very terrifying! He hoped they were back on the ground soon.

 

“You’re doing good you two..It will all be okay..” He spoke softly with a warm grin, gently patting their shoulders. He was glad they were handling the plane well and able to keep their forms in control despite the stress. They would need to give them some quiet time to explore once home but he was sure his father and technical father in law would want to visit. Tenmo got them both some waters, not sure how they would handle sodas or other drinks

Despite the fact that Kaine had originally bought Ren his own seat the smaller figure was determined to sit in his lap and cling to him. Since it seemed to help him cope with something that was clearly scary to him he didn't mind and kept his arms wrapped around the smaller figure. He did let him look out the window once in awhile but for the most part tried to keep his attention off of how high they were and instead on all of them. "We'll be landing before you two know it." Kaine told them as Tenmo returned with some bottled water giving one to each of them. Kaine helped Ren open his since he was just holding it with a confused look on his face not knowing what he was supposed to do.

 

Ren was determined he didn't leave Kaine's lap the whole time they were on the plane. If he did it was just to crawl into Tenmo's or Ash's lap instead and cling to them. Taking turns on clinging to the different members of his family seeking comfort. It was scary and he didn't like how high they were even if he would glance out the window once in awhile or move over to Ash to look out of it better. Kaine did his best to keep him from it and Ren knew he should listen but while he was terrified he wanted to see at the same time. The longer they were on the plane the more antsy he was getting and started to shift around more frequently. He wasn't used to having to stay put for so long at a time and he wanted to get up and run around.

“We will almost there..we will be out of this..airplane soon” Ash said out loud, to reassure both Ren and himself. He wanted out of here right now but hoped wherever their home was wasn’t too far away. He was happy to see them landing, gripping Ren and his seat tightly when the airplane did a few bumps on its landing. He was more than happy to get off but he still remained by Rens side since that was the most familiar thing to him. Getting in the ‘car’ was a whole new ordeal, nudging at the whelks and feeling it’s cold exterior before he finally got in.

 

Tenmo had to convince the two to get into the car, needing to sit in the back with Ash and help hold Ren between them. “It’s almost over..Just a bit longer and we will be at your rooms soon. I know this is all scary and new for you both..” He tried to reassure them, needing to keep telling Ash to keep his shoes on

Kaine was quiet as he was driving the car glancing back at the three of them while Tenmo did his best to keep Ren and Ash calm and in all of their clothes considering they both attempted more than once to take off one article of clothing or the other. When they reached the town he parked the car in one of the covens garages and got out waiting for the other three before they started heading off to the house. It didn't take them long to make this trip and get inside closing the door softly behind them. "Welcome home boys." Kaine told them giving them both a smile before he was looking around the house so glad to be home after their trip.

 

Ren had been getting more and more impatient wanting to run around when they had gotten off the plane but instead he was kept in the arms of Tenmo or Ash. Getting into the car was another story and he was growling softly as the other tried convincing them to get inside. At some point he had succeeded and Ren wasn't really sure how but found himself sitting between Tenmo and Ash. Still wiggling and wanting to run around but repeatedly being told he had to sit still. When they reached the house he was finally set down and able to run around which he immediately did taking in the new place hesitantly touching different things and testing the scents around him. Confused but intrigued by everything he saw since it was all new to him.

Ash didn’t know how to handle the new things around but but was happy to be out of the car. He immediately ripped off the shoes as soon as he was inside. He marveled at the sight of how big their home was, probably bigger than their entire village combined! He was doing similar to Ren, sniffing and touching all the new things around him. He went up to this giant cold thing, finding a button that looked similar to his shirt. He pressed it and the machine turned on, having people talking to each other in it in a loud volume he quickly jumped back from it, crawling up onto the couch and perching himself on it as he glared at it.

 

Tenmo let the others explore to their hearts content, seeing Ash a bit taken aback by the television. “It’s a tv, you can see other people..doing and performing things in it throughout the day” He said, looking to Kaine. He never thought he would hE to explain how a television worked and hoped he could get some help explaining this or anything

Ren had scattered at the sound of the TV coming on changing into a panther and running from the room with his fur sticking up. It took Kaine coaxing him out from under the table in the dinning room to come out. Being scooped up in the vampire's arms and carried towards the living room listening as Tenmo explained to them what it was. "I don't like it." Ren grumbled as Kaine was smoothing his fur back down.

 

"It can be scary at first. But it's nice to watch sometimes. You can see a lot of different things using the TV including things from around the world." Kaine expressed to the pair. He did grab the remote and turn the volume down to a much lower setting one he thought would be more soothing to the pair. After Ren's tiny body had stopped shaking in his arms he slowly put the small creature down and watched as Ren was hesitantly moving around the house again. Following the smaller form into the kitchen he watched him sniff and bat at different things. "That's the refrigerator. It keeps food cold so that it's fresh longer." He told Ren who was trying to bat at the door with little paws and clearly making no progress. Kaine moved over to open it and show Ren that it was filled with food.

 

Little green eyes grew big at the sight of all the food in there. Hesitantly lifting himself up on one paw to sniff and look at the different items inside. He could feel the cold air coming from it as he stood there and it was really strange and confusing. Turning green eyes back to Kaine he spoke, "How's it get cold in there?" Kaine didn't respond at first not really sure how to explain it to Ren.

"What Kaine had said, the tv has plenty of things on it showing so many different things" Tenmo said, waiting for the other to lower the volume before taking the remote in his hand. He turned it onto a random nature channel, hoping the sounds would be far more soothing for the pair. He watched as the other two made their way into the kitchen, watching Ash sitting beside Ren at the mystery of the refrigerator. They both seemed confused at how it was able to work. "There is this thing called electricity that makes it work. The electricity makes really cold air that keeps all the food cold" He explained in the simplest terms he thought were possible for them to understand.

 

Ash sniffed at a few of the foods, it having some rather odd smells. There was this one sweet smelling red thing, picking it up and looking it over. He licked it and didnt taste anything, wondering if it needed to be broken open. He used his claws to slice the sweet smelling thing open before taking a hesitant bite. He blinked at the sweetness, not sure what to make of it but it still tasted okay, being told by Tenmo it was an 'apple', handing a tiny piece to Ren once he knew it was okay

Ren glanced back to Tenmo when he started to explain how the refrigerator worked. This was definitely a lot and he wasn't sure what to make of all of these things. His senses were on sensory overload and he was having a hard time with everything. Sitting back down on the floor he watched as Ash tried something from the fridge it seemed like it was okay as soon the other was handing him a tiny piece which Ren took and ate. He wasn't sure what he expected but it hadn't been the sweet flavor that met him. It was odd and had him sitting there unsure for a moment but he was soon sniffing at the apple in Ash's hands before moving to chomp at it finding that he kind of liked it.

 

Kaine smiled as he watched the pair try different things including the apple. Knowing how much different these things must be to them. The cute surprised looks that were on their faces at the difference in taste was adorable as well. It didn't seem like they hated the apple either and as Ren moved to chomp on Ash's apple he found himself laughing. "There are plenty of apples, Ren. Encase you want your own." Kaine mused pointing out the bowl filled with them.

Ash decided to focus his attention on the apple as the stimulus of all this new information was overwhelming. He continued to bite at the half of the apple he had before Kaine mentioned there were more apples in a nearby bowl. He easily downed the apple before quickly grabbd another, biting a good chunk out of the new apple. Okay..Apples weren't so bad..he thought to himself while taking another big bite.

 

"I know things are different here but in most cases, when you leave the house, you will need to keep all these clothes on" Tenmo explained with a soft nod. "Kaine, lets show them their rooms. They are probably tired after all that stressful travel and could rest. They do also need to start meeting the clan and the pack slowly, lets start with my dad and that small portion of the family. The three of them should be the ones who meet them first, being leaders and all" He nodded as he went to move towards empty rooms now set aside for them both

Kaine closed the fridge door after the two moved on to the bowl of apples. Watching them as they seemed to focus just on the apples for now. He figured with all of this sensory overload the apples were something easy and positive to focus on. After they had finished their next apple Tenmo mentioned spreading them their rooms. Nodding he mad the way upstairs stopping to show them Ash's room before taking Ren to see his room. He knew it was going to be a rough start for them having their own rooms and all.

 

Ren was looking around the room that Kaine told him was his. While he liked the idea of having his own space he didn't like the idea of sleeping alone. Crawling up on the bed he sat there for a moment getting used to the softness before he was feeding down and exploring what else was in the room.

Ash thought it was weird the bedding was so soft and squishy, nothing like what he was used to sleeping on before. It was weird, he thought as he ended up laying on the ground for a bit. He was quick to remove his clothes, just staying in his boxers. They were in the home so there was no point keeping them on. Ash grabbed the blanket, making a sort of canopy out of it from other bits of furniture. It seemed to work..He thought as he explored the room further.

 

Tenmo watched them both carefully, them seeming to be exploring the surroundings of their new rooms but not in a full on panic. He sighed in relief that they seemed happy, figuring that their last hunt would last until they had a few days here to adjust and meet the rest of the family

Ren ended up wiggling his way under his bed where he stayed for a few minutes and it made Kaine thing that would probably be where they found him whenever things became too much or if he got scared. It seemed the small boy was happy to be curled up under there. After trying to coax him back out and failing Kaine told Ren to come out when he was ready and went to see how Ash was doing in his room. Noticing the way Ash had used his blanket to make a sort of fort in a sense using it and furniture he smiled slightly. Whatever helped them cope with such a drastic change right now sounded good to him.

 

Turning to Tenmo after a few minutes he leaned against the hall wall so that he was between the two boys rooms. "This is quite a lot for them. Other than Ren hiding under his bed I think they've handled it pretty well." He told his husband. He knew Ren being the smallest was having a really hard time coping but he knew it was really hard for Ash too. They'd have to give the boys time to come to terms with things at their own pace and then come to them when they were feeling comfortable and knew for sure they were safe and nothing was going to hurt them.

Tenmo had told the two boys where there room would be in case there was any trouble or they ever felt uncomfortable while they were home. "They are doing rather well indeed, that makes me happy. I am sure it will be harder meeting more strangers but it should not be as stressful as the plane. But hopefully Solaria will at least provide some comfort for Ren, a kid around his age might help him" He smiled, even if he had already said this multiple times. He wanted what was best for them and knew they needed to start socializing to gt used to life and everyone

"I hope not. This is a lot for them to handle and it's all happening pretty fast." Kaine replied with a soft sigh feeling bad that the pair was thrown into this head first instead of being able to be eased into it. I am sure Solaria will do great helping Ren cope and feel at ease here." He agreed with a nod but his mind went to Ash. "We need to introduce Ash to someone who can help him cope too. Maybe... Otso?" Kaine asked suggesting the happy and friendly wolf that he thought would do great things for the other man. Otso was the person that Kaine trusted with Ash the most and would be the best person for the other to get close to from the start. Even if Otso came with Bryan it wasn't like the vampire didn't have work to do still that would separate him from Otso.

"Oh that's right, Adrian, Xavier Solaria, Otso and with Otso Brian because he will not let him out of his sight half the time" Tenmo chuckled, knowing since they started hooking up, Brian always had Otso around him or wanted to get work done quickly to get back to him. "But I agree, Otso is overly friendly and like Ren so it could help. I am sure none of them will scare them off..hopefully. But lets send out the texts before bed so they can come by and visit. I will have to get more apples and fruits with how they seemed to like those" He chuckled, making a mental grocery list for the next time they went shopping, thinking of adding meat in case they don't get the hang of hunting in this new terrain

Kaine couldn't help but laugh at the comment of Bryan always having Otso at his side or rushing to get his work done to return to him. It was quite the change in the vampire and he was glad that they both found someone they were happy with. But he still hoped that at some point Bryan would become more serious and propose to the poor wolf! It was so clear that Otso wanted that to happen and he hated sitting by and watching the small wolf sacrifice that for Bryan who didn't seem to have any interest in getting married. Shaking his head he focused back on the real task at hand and that was Ren and Ash meeting the main family tomorrow. "Yes, they did seem to really like apples." He agreed with a nod. "We should text them sooner rather than later to give them the opportunity to prepare to meet Ash and Ren." Kaine told his husband. It would be big for Ren and Ash but it was also big for their family to meet them. Coming from two completely different worlds.

"I will do that now if you could just double check on the boys?" Tenmo said with a happy smile on his face. He pulled out his phone as he sent all of the texts to the five people in some capacity about meeting Ash and Ren. Otso texted back he would bring some fruits as a peace offering, excited to meet the new members of the family. His dad was still surprised he came home with two boys from their honeymoon but was happy to meet them as well, hoping Solaria would understand the boys might act strange since they arent used to people and things yet. He sighed in relief when all the texts were sent out.

 

Ash was curled up under the blanket fort but ended up slipping out of the room at one point and into Rens. The space was still unfamiliar and at least being at Rens side made him feel a little better. He curled up around him like they usually did and fell asleep with him held close.

"Sure thing." Kaine said leaving Tenmo to text the others while he went to check on the boys. He found that Ash's room was empty but he didn't panic since he figured that the two of them must be together in Ren's room. Sure enough he found the pair there curled up together on top of the bed. It was cute to see them together like that and to know that Ash had been able to get Ren to come out from under the bed. Walking over he grabbed a new blanket and very carefully covered the pair up pressing a kiss to the top of their heads in turn softly saying 'goodnight' before leaving the room. Turning the light off and closing the door behind him to let them get some much needed rest.

 

Returning to Tenmo he leaned up to kiss him giving his husband a bright smile. "The boys are asleep in Ren's room." He told the other. "The family excited to meet them tomorrow? I thought we could make a nice lunch for everyone while they are here visiting as well." Kaine added having thought a nice lunch would help everyone bond too.

"They are excited, even if obviously still a bit surprised we brought up children. Solaria will be happy to meet her new friend. I really hope Ren..knows what he needs to know already so I will not have to give him the talk anytime soon. It will come up one of these days with all these couples" He chuckled, shaking his head. "But yes to that lunch, I think a good meal will help everyone especially the boys. But come on, lets get to bed so we can be fully prepared for tomorrow" Tenmo smiled softly, kissing the others cheek tenderly.

"Alright, let's get to bed." Kaine said with a playful eye roll grabbing his husband's hand and pulling him into their room. Kaine was happy to strip down into his own boxers much more comfortable to sleep like that before he was getting into bed and giving the other a look telling him to hurry up. Sleeping better when he could curl up against his husband. Once Tenmo had joined him and they pulled the blankets up Kaine was quick to latch himself to the other and give him a quick kiss before he was nuzzling his chest and closing his eyes. They had a busy day come morning and he wanted to have the boys fed and try to get Ren at least in the tub before any of their guests would arrive.

Tenmo woke up a bit earlier to work on getting Ash washed up, even though he was reluctant to leave the others side. He left him to shower before telling him to go change in his room. He let Ren be taken care of by Kaine while he was preparing the food. He smiled warmly as he was preparing the food, hearing a knock at the door a few minutes later. "Everyone, welcome!"

 

Otso beamed happily, tail wagging happily behind him as he stood beside Bryan. "Good morning!" He beamed happily, tail wagging happily behind him. New people..He was excited to meet the new members of the family and make sure they felt welcome. He held a basket of fruits with a bigger grin as he stepped in to set it on the table. "I'm...uh...Otso" Otso blushed when he saw one of the boys come down in only his boxers and needing to admit he was rather...well built. It was more embarrassing that he was naked and also kissed his hand so suddenly.

 

"Hello Tenmo" Solaria smiled happily as Adrian also greeted him, hugging Tenmo. "Hopefully your trip home was easy and the boys managed. I can only imagine the past few hours were a stressful one" He said with a soft nod as he soon came in with Solaria in her favorite sun dress and Xavier.

 

Ash soon came down, only in some boxers drying his hair with the towel around his neck like he was told to. He looked at all the clothed strangers and his eyes stopped on this one blonde haired night howler. He felt like his heart thumped in his chest and hoped his face wasn't turning a bright red. He walked past them all, taking the others hand and kissing it. "Ash.." He quietly introduced himself, eyes only for him.
