"Right, we did get a tad distracted!" Tenmo laughed, searching through the fridge to search for something to eat. "What are you feeling..?" He called out to him as he searched through the fridge for their meal. He was feeling any sort of dish with meat in it..

 

"I cannot wait!" Adrian smiled, looking forward to the meal. He replayed the video again, wanting to watch the part when they kissed for the first time again. That beautiful moment...a proper wedding ceremony...with the love of his life.

Leaning against the counter he watched as Tenmo was rummaging through the fridge trying to find something for them to eat. When he was asked what he was feeling he considered it for a moment. "I don't know... what good things do you have in there?" He asked with a curious look crossing his face.

 

While Xavier ordering the food he could her their wedding video playing in the background again. A small smile appearing as he finished making the order and moved over to his pup. "Shouldn't take them long to bring us the food." He said looking over to the tv where the video was playing again. "I am glad you like the video, I am certainly looking forward to seeing the sketches and painting."

"Besides me...?" Tenmo teased, looking back at him with a small smirk before looking back into the fridge. "Theres some leftovers from the wedding...hamburgers...some fruit..." He said, taking out some veal and hamburgers. "Sounds good right about now" He smiled as he took a few things out.

 

"I cannot wait for the painting...it will look nice in the new place" Adrian smiled happily as he watched their wedding video again. "I could watch it so many times and I will never get tired of it" He smiled, happy to view the happiest moment of his life, next to the birth of his son which was a close second.

"Of course! You always look good." Kaine said happily "Oh! Grab some fruit too!" He said as he watch Tenmo pulling out some of the leftovers. Kaine really did love fruit, not as much as he loved blood but he didn't feel like that was a fair comparison as nothing rivaled that taste for any vampire. "You sound good right about now too." Kaine mused with a smirk.

 

"Neither can I. I'm sure it's going to be amazing." Xavier was really looking forward to the painting and being able to have it hanging up in their new home. "I am glad to hear that. We can watch it again and again for as long as you want."

"Catch~!" Tenmo tossed an apple behind him in Kaines direction before he put the meat on a plate and quickly microwaved it. "Don't tempt me now..Or you will find it very hard to teach me to dance tomorrow.." Tenmo smirked, kissing the others lips as he set their food on the counter. He grabbed an apple for himself as well, picking up a piece of meat in his fingers and taking a big bite out of it.

 

"Can we fall asleep to this playing...?" Adrian said with a small smile, kissing the others lips with a small smile. "I hope I can go into tomorrow with good dreams to start tomorrow off right" He said, sure he would have a good day with Xavier at his side.

Catching the apple that was tossed to him he happily took a bite as he we watching his Pup put the meat on the plate to.microwave it. "I can't help it! You always sound and look good!" Kaine replied with a large smile before he took another bite out of his apple. His eyes were raking over his fiance's body as he was saying that.

 

"If that's what you want to do, love. We can have it play all night if that's what you want to do." Xavier admitted with a small smile. "I am sure you will have good dreams to start tomorrow with." Xavier mused as he leaned in and kissed his pup. A moment later there was a knock on the door, getting up he answered it letting the two vampires in to set the food up as Xavier was quite hungry and wanted a variety just as he was sure Adrian would.

Tenmo chuckled, giving the others butt a smack before getting comfortable in his chair again. He handed a set of silverware to the other before he began to eat his food. He took a big chomp of his apple after a few bites of veil. He was getting some strand apple pieces and juice off with his tongue, quick to lick it off rather than use a napkin. "Even leftovers are good..this is good food' He laughed with a smile at Kaine.

 

Adrians returned the others kiss before he heard the knock. He made his he was covered on the bottom before the two other vampires came in, smelling the food from here. His tail wagged happily at the smell of the bbq steak, saying "It smells delicious~! Perfect end to the day!" He smiled happily.

Sticking his tongue playfully out at Tenmo when his puppy smacked his butt before he was moving to take a seat beside him. Taking the silverware that were offered to him he continued to eat his apple before moving to the food in front of him. "Of course it is! The food was great last night and it is just as good now."

 

Xavier laughed when Adrian said that it smelled delicious and was a perfect way to end the day. "I am glad to hear that, Pup." He mused as he let the two vampires out again before he was moving the food within Adrian's reach so he wouldn't have to try to get out of the bed or sit up. "Eat up handsome!" He said happily as he grabbed a rib.

Tenmo smiled at the others tongue sticking out, loading up his plate a bit more and continued to eat. He continued to eat his food, leaving the apple for last. When he was done, he leaned over and gave him a peck on the cheek. “I love you..” He said with a warm smile, saying “I cannot wait to learn to dance and then dance a traditional dance with my husband on our wedding day”. Even if he never did traditional or slow dances.

 

Adrian was happy he moved the tray close, able to easily grab the food without too much movement. He popped a steak piece into his mouth and smiled happily. “So goood..” He smiled happily as he kept a few pieces for last as he ate the rest of the bbq first. It tasted delicious in bbq form..He thought as he ate contently, his wolf ears twitching every so often.

"I love you too, Puppy." Kaine said with a large smile. Eating his food as he heard Tenmo say he couldn't wait to learn to dance and dance a traditional dance with him on their wedding day. "I'm quite eager to teach you as well and have a romantic dance with you on our wedding night." He responded with a large smile, really eager for their wedding and to spend time with his puppy teaching the other how to dance a more traditional dance than he was clearly used to doing.

 

"I am glad you like it." Xavier said as he was eating his food, quite enjoying the taste and how well everything was cooked. He had always been a fan of bbq and had just really been craving it today. When he was finished eating his food he leaned over to give the other a quick kiss. "We should check on the progress of the house after the storm. Make sure everything is still on track for completion." He said.

"I am sure you will be an excellent teacher love" Tenmo said with a soft smile once he finished his food. He was glad their wedding was so close, happy it was almost here after all they had gone through. A romantic dance and a romantic night with the love of his life. "Now...you have a lot to teach me so we will need rest" Tenmo smiled with a soft grin.

 

"That will be perfect, I hope it will be done soon. Our own home..All for us for the married couple' Adrian smiled softly as he finally finished his food. He ate his food and was quite happy at the full stomach he now had. He kissed the others lips lightly as he got comfortably in bed.

"I can be." He mused, "I'll have a great reward system." Kaine said with a large smile. A good reward system would probably keep his Puppy's attention, not to mention it could turn out to be great fun for the both of them at the same time. "Aw! But fun is so much more interesting than getting rest!" He playfully whined not really wanting to go to bed yet but knowing that Tenmo had a point. Dancing wasn't something you wanted to do with little sleep, and if it meant the chance for even more fun tomorrow he'd give in and get some rest.

 

"All for us." Xavier agreed with a smile. He was super happy to have their own home, and he knew it wouldn't be all that long before the house was finished and they could move in. Taking care of the dishes and everything he returned to find his Pup getting comfortable a small amused smile appearing as he got back in bed. "Ready to get some sleep, handsome?" He asked as he grabbed the remote to play the wedding video over again.

"Even better.." Tenmo smiled, happy to have even more of an incentive in his pursuit of learning to dance on his wedding day. "Now to carry you to bed and make sure you save those magic feet for tomorrow" He kissed the others cheek as he brought him to his bedroom. He set him down on the bed and pulled the covers over them both.

 

"Always.." Adrian said with a soft and happy smile, cuddling up to Xavier. He looked toward the screen with a small smile, happy to be going into tomorrow with some joy in his heart. With Xavier at his side...he can get through anything. "I love you Nippy.." He said with a gentle kiss, closing his eyes.

A small smile appeared when he was picked up and carried to the bedroom before he was being set on the bed, waiting for Tenmo to join him just a moment later. After he was pulling the blankets over them he snuggled up to Tenmo, nuzzling into his Puppy's chest and let his eyes drift shut. "I love you." He murmured softly already falling asleep despite having said he wasn't tired a few minutes ago.

 

"Good." Xavier said as he was cuddling up with his Pup. "I love you too, Pup." Xavier whispered in his Pup's ear before pressing a gently kiss underneath it, letting his eyes move back to their wedding video. He watched it for a little while before he was falling asleep with his husband in his arms.

Adrian woke up to the sounds of thunder and lighting cracking through the sky. He instinctively jumped out of the bed, trying to find a place to hide. So loud...so many..memories..so loud.. Adrian whimpered in the corner, his ears pressed against his head and his hands clasped to his head. His tail was tucked between his legs, terrified of the storm outside.

 

Otso had woken up early, trying to use his umbrella to cover himself from the rain. Practice for dancing was today and he didn't want to be stuck out in the rain for too long and get his tuxedo wet.

 

Tenmo was still very much asleep, not planning on waking up on his own anytime soon. He nuzzled his face into his pillow, content on staying in bed.

In his sleep Xavier reached out for his Pup, his unconscious mind not finding him forced him awake. Sleepily looking around the room for his husband only to see that he was in a corner, ears pressed against the top of his head and his hands clasped on his head as well. A frown crossed his face but he heard the sound of thunder echo through the room and the flash of lightning illuminate the room before he was getting up out of bed grabbing the large blanket and the remote to the tv and moving over to him. "Hey..." He whispered softly wrapping the blanket around them both as he took Adrian into his arms, he started the video of their wedding over again and turned the volume up to try to drown out the storm outside. Holding his Pup close to his chest and making sure the blanket was wrapped snugly around them as well.

 

Alice had gotten up early to get ready having gotten Kaine's message last night that she'd be helping one of the pack members learn some traditional dancing. She had agreed of course, loving to dance and especially when she had heard that it was to get Bryan to relax and calm the fuck down. Anything to get Bryan to smile and chill out was something she was all for, so she had made sure she had dressed nice -loving any excuse to do so- and had gotten snacks for them as they would probably be practicing for a few hours at least.

 

Kaine stretched in his sleep mumbling something about being comfy and warm, curled up against his puppy's back and loving the warmth of the other body. For a few minutes it seemed as though he was going to stay asleep before his eyes slowly opened, nuzzling into his fiance's back gently as he didn't exactly want to wake Tenmo up but he wanted to remain close to him as well.

Adrian jumped at the sudden sounds of thunder, clasping his hands tighter to his head. Go away storm..please stop...please stop..There were tears in his eyes when he suddenly jumped at the feeling of a warm blanket being wrapped around him. Adrian quickly wiped away his tears when he heard Xaviers voice close to him. "H-Hey.." He said quietly, their wedding video blaring through the room and the warmth of the blanket enveloping their backs in a cacoon.

 

"Good morning Alise" Otso saw the woman in the ballroom and remembered her from Adrians wedding. He wiped off his feet before stepping inside in his dress shoes and his tux. "You look beautiful~!" He complimented her with a smile, thinking she was rather pretty. "I was told you were going to help me learn some traditional dancing..?" He asked, his wolf ears twitching curiously.

 

Tenmo nuzzled further into Kaines chest, not wanting to wake up until he was made to. He pulled the blanket tighter over the both of them, wanting to bask in the warmth a little longer. The dancing could wait for a bit..He thought as he held Kaine in his arms.

 

"W-where...?" Solaria wandered the woods, not able to read her map. Her map was now a mess of running colors as she tried to find the house her mother had mentioned. -If you are ever in trouble or we are lost, go find this house in the woods- She could not remember the exact words, but she had to find it somehow~! She eventually found a house, knocking on its door.

"It's okay love." Xavier said softly noticing that Adrian was wiping tears out of his eyes. He leaned down and caught his lover's lips in a deep kiss, wanting to wipe away any fears he had of the storm outside. The last thing he wanted was for his Pup to be afraid, for him to worry. Rubbing his puppy's back as he whispered softly into his ear, "I love you, cutie." He murmured softly.

 

"Morning, Otso." Alise greeted the other as she watched him wipe off his feet before entering the ballroom. "Thank you! You look dashing yourself." She commented flashing a happy smile. "Definitely! I hear you're trying to get that stiff to relax!" A soft laugh came from her but she was definitely routing for Otso to succeed. Moving over she took his hand to lead him further into the ballroom, "I made an arrangement of snacks and drinks for us, since we'll most likely be here for a few hours."

 

Kaine felt Tenmo pull the blankets tighter around them which made him let out a pleased hum, shifting to wrap his arms around the warm body of his fiance. "You're so warm." He mumbled softly a gentle smile appearing on his face as he buried it in the other's chest.

 

Bryan was taking not of a few things in the entrance hall, the storm outside was the perfect time for the others to try to sneak away and do something stupid or reckless. Multiple had already tracked mud into the building, and a wolf had stopped by making him inwardly groan. Jotting something down he heard a knock on the door grumbling he moved over to it expecting to see another wolf at the door but instead he saw a young child. Raising a brow he looked down at her, "Can I help you?" He asked knowing that no one here had a child and wondering how she had possible wandered upon the building.

Adrian kissed the other happily back, appreciating Xavier being there for him and not poking a great deal of fun at him when he was so terrified. The others warmth and him drowning out the storm with their wedding video was appreciative and helping a good deal. "Love you more Nippy.." He said quietly, his hands eventually leaving his head although they were still shaking.

 

Otso could not help his tail wagging a tiny bit behind him at being called dashing, managing to control it so it was not wagging long. "Yes, it is my goal to make friends with Bryan and make him relax. And that's how we ended up where we are.." Otso smiled, letting his hand be taken as he was pulled further into the ballroom. "I am ready for you to teach me and I am eager to learn" He smiled wider, hoping to learn a lot about traditional dancing.

 

Tenmo smiled happily when he was told he was warm, holding him as close as he was physically able. He did not need to open his eyes as he kissed the top of the others head. Dancing can wait for a bit longer..He thought to himself. He had a whole week to learn.

 

Solaris opened the door to a scary intimidating looking man with glasses. Mom never said anything about scary guys..She thought to himself as she spoke up. “I got lost and my mom is lost and I was told to go find..” Solara tried to read the name from her watered down piece of paper. “..Adrian” She could just make out the name written on the paper, her two pigtails even more soaked and dripping than her piece of paper.

"I don't think so, Pup." Xavier said with amusement. He loved his pup dearly, and though he was sure neither one of them loved the other more than they felt they did it didn't mean he wouldn't argue that he loved him more. Pressing another kiss to his cheek before kissing his neck. Seeing Adrian's hands leave his head he noticed how bad they were shaking, so he immediately took his hands between his own, holding them steady. "You're alright, Pup." He whispered again.

 

Noticing the tail wag oddly enough made Alise quite happy herself, clearly the other needed to be complimented more often which she was more than willing to do. "I wish you luck my friend. Dancing is a good start though, even Bryan has a soft spot for traditional dances." She said with a gentle smile. Once they were in the middle of the ballroom she resituated them leading Otso's hand to her waist while keeping the other in her hand, "Have you done any kind of tradition dances before?" Alise suddenly asked.

 

"Can we stay like this forever?" Kaine murmured when he felt Tenmo hold him closer, as close as they could physically be at this point. Feeling a kiss pressed to the top of his head made him hum happily, never wanting to move from this spot if he had the opportunity. As far as he was concerned they could never get to the dance lessons and he'd still be extremely happy with how everything went.

 

The child was wet, dripping wet which made him even less thrilled to see her. When she told him she was lost and her mother was also lost he felt like telling her to beat it but before he could say anything she had looked down at the paper in her hands. The paper was clearly soaked and dripping, and she clearly struggled to see what had once been written on it. But when she said that name he rolled his eyes. 'Of course...' Bryan thought feeling like it should have been obvious. "Come in." He said taking a step to the side to let her in from the rain. "Wait here." He commented after shutting the door and moving to the stairs heading up to Xavier's room where he knew the two men were. Knocking on the door he waited for a moment before Xavier had opened it, he noticed in the corner of the room Adrian was there wrapped in a blanket and he became extremely curious what the hell was going up but knew better than to ask. Turning his gaze back to Xavier he spoke, "Some soaked child is here, she said she is lost and so is her mother and was told to find Adrian."

"I...I know.." Adrian said quietly, letting Xavier hold his hands to keep them steady. His ears perked up as he heard steps approaching, seeing Bryan standing in their doorway. He managed to keep himself collected long enough to listen to what the other had to say in the doorway. "A little girl...?" Adrian was very confused now as he did not know any little girls and their mothers who would come looking for him at this time of day. "I suppose we should go see what this is about then.." Adrian stood up as he straightened himself out, making sure he was properly clothed before he went downstairs. "I was told you were looking for me..?" He asked curiously with a small smile.

 

"Luna told me to come find you if she ever got lost or I did..She is my mom" Solaria said with a bright smile as she noticed the man freeze up at mention of her name, the taller man beside him looking down at her. "Uh...Is he okay?" Solaria asked as the man seemed frozen in many thoughts.

 

"I am glad to be learning it then if it means getting closer to Bryan even a tiny bit' Otso laughed as he let Alise take his hand and lead it to her waist. His other hand remained in hers as she had asked him if he ever danced like this before. "No, only what I have seen in the movies and not actually learning proper technique" Otso said with a small smile. "I hope to learn whatever I can from you...Does he lead when he dances? I know leads are a thing.." He nodded, knowing this much about dancing.

 

"Forever being until one of us gets hungry.." Tenmo said with a smirk, kissing the top of the others head again. Dance lessons could wait until later..right now he wanted more time with Kaine. Just a bit longer to hold him tight..

Xavier was confused by the news that a little girl was there asking for Adrian, who would even know the wolf was here besides other pack members? The last time Xavier knew there were no young children in the pack at this time, none that would ever come looking for him over any other pack member. Then it hit him, Bryan didn't say it was a wolf, just that it was a child. Confused he watched Adrian get dressed before they both followed Bryan back to the front door where sure enough a soaked little girl was standing awaiting for their return. The bright smile on her face was contagious, but that name made his blood run cold and his eyes narrow a little a frown appearing.

 

Adrian had seemed to freeze up and Bryan had appeared to no longer be interested and was now walking away. That was definitely a good thing though as he didn't need the vampire to learn anything about the woman and this... child. "He's fine." Xavier said when she asked him if he was okay looking her over, there were definitely similarities to her mother and he found himself not a fan of her despite her being a child. Deep down he knew he could not behave in that manner though, clearly she was here for a reason, and her mother was lost she claimed. Ah well... if she only knew the truth. Gazing towards Adrian he nudged the man gently in the side and nodded towards the child again needing him out of his thoughts for the moment.

 

"He's an old fashioned vampire for sure, tradition is important to us all, but him more than most." Alise admitted with a smile. When he asked her if Bryan lead when he danced she considered it for a moment. "I suppose it depends on who he is dancing with. If he danced with Kaine for example he'd lead the dance and then point out every little thing poor Kaine does incorrectly, if he danced with Xavier he'd be lead. So... rank I guess? Whether he leads or is lead would depend more on the rank of the vampire... or wolf he is dancing with." She explained. "A respect thing really." Then her mind went to how best to teach Otso to dance. "The easiest way to get a traditional dance down is to count the steps, many traditional dances are more step oriented than anything else." She explained. "Now, follow my steps and count with me. Once we get the steps down I'll add the music and we'll see how things go."

 

"So forever then? I after all have a very handsome and delicious snack right here." Kaine commented with a small smirk as he finally tilted his head back to look up at his Puppy. In the end as long as Tenmo was there he technically had his meal, since he could just take a little bite if he really needed or if the mood struck.

Luna...It had been forever since he heard that name? And when she disappeared..in all that time...She had a child...with another man? She was coming back to him with open arms trying to be with him what seemed like forever ago..was she about to abandon her child just because he got the alpha position and had some power? How could she-Adrian felt himself be nudged after he got lost in thought, the storm almost being a second thought to him right now. He could not tell her...what actually happened to her "I am sure she is...somewhere" Adrian said quietly, not necessarily lying but not telling the truth. "Come now, you are going to get sick if you stay dripping wet like that.." he said quietly, able to tell this little girl was human and would not do well being cold.

 

"Thank you Adrian!" Solaria smiled happily, taking out her pigtails so her wet hair draped down onto her shoulders. "I am sorry I tracked water in your house.." She said sheepishly to the man who frowned at her. He didn't seem happy to see her..and it was kind of scary.

 

"That sounds like something he would do.." Otso commented with a smile as she explained how Bryan preferred to take leads when it came to dancing. "I suppose he is going to want to lead if and when we dance" Otso came to that conclusion based off of what she was saying about him. 'Steps....Oh that seems simple enough!" Otso said with a grin, figuring he could pick up something as set as just counting the steps as he danced. He nodded as he looked down at his feet and was counting along with her, not wanting to step on her feet.

 

Tenmo didn't even open his eyes but raised an eyebrow at the others suggestive comment. "Oh..? A snack? But I thought I was a dessert.." He teased the other, referencing the time Kaine snuck him past Bryan and Alise to get him into the house.

Xavier had to be honest, he wasn't happy that a child was here especially when she said that Luna was her mother. He just couldn't seem to win. Even when he was married to his Pup and everything seemed like a dream come true Luna got between them, despite being dead. Figures. Sighing softly he looked at the mess she had made when she apologized for it after Adrian had said that she was going to get sick if she stayed dripping wet like that. "It's... not that bad. Someone will clean it up." He replied not wanting to really bring too much attention to the mess as he was sure other members of his coven would simply add to it throughout the storm. At least this girl seemed to be a good distraction for Adrian and he was no longer focused on the storm outside.

 

"I don't think we have any dry clothes for someone so... young." Xavier added as his eyes moved to Adrian. They clearly had to get her out of her wet clothes or she was sure to catch a cold. But he did not have any coven members so young, the coven having strict rules, no one under a certain age could be changed as they were not mentally old enough to handle eternal life. Not to mention, no one wanted to take care of a child that'd never grow up.

 

Alise smiled warmly when Otso mentioned Bryan wanting to lead when they danced, "Probably! But you'd make a good impression knowing the steps regardless of whether you lead or are lead. Since they are both quite similar and honestly only really vary at certain parts of the dance. I'll teach you both roles." She commented wanting the other to know either role since she really didn't know which one Bryan would pick. That and it didn't hurt for him to know them both regardless, especially if anyone else was to ask him to dance and he ended up agreeing. As they practiced she counted the steps out loud noticing that Otso was being quite careful to ensure he did not step on her feet, something she surely appreciated. After an hour or so they stopped for a snack break and to just talk and get to know one another since she wanted to know more about the wolf that was trying to get their most uptight member to relax.

 

"I like to think you'd be delicious regardless of any meal. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, dessert." Kaine said listing off the meals as a large smile appeared. "You are incredibly sweet though." He mused playfully as he pressed his lips to the other's neck. It didn't matter what meal it was, Tenmo would certainly be delicious and hit the spot regardless.

"Well..You might need to make do wearing a really big shirt like a dress until your clothes dry...okay?" Adrian said with a smile, trying to keep calm in front of the little girl. The storm plus all those thoughts of betrayal were flooding into his mind..But he could not kick out an innocent child. She seemed to have no parents around from the way she spoke to him..And he felt pity on the child,despite who her mother was. "Solaria..This is my husband Nippy..I mean..Xavier" Adrian said, accidentally referring to him by his nickname to the child at first.

 

Solaria looked up at the taller man, seeing both of their rings. Xavier..? Wasn't that the name of the one of the people her mother had mentioned over the years? This guy was the one she was supposed to be afraid of that hung around the Tenmo guy? Sure, he was scary but he seemed nice. "That means you are a vampire...?" She asked with a small tilt of her head. "Cooool~!" She could not help her childhood curiosity, smiling warmly.

 

'I suppose you are right" Otso nodded with a small smile, figuring he should learn both parts no matter what! It seemed the differences would be minimal and easy enough to remember. It was hard to make sure he stayed slow and move to the counting beat, but he liked to think he did well for his first time. He grabbed a small snack, swallowing before asking "Did you need to ask me anything? I am sure a sudden last minute dance lesson for a wolf came as a surprise" Otso said with a big grin.

 

Tenmo hummed happily at the feeling of the others lips on his neck. "Be careful now..your dessert will melt if you keep pressing those warm lips against it" He teased with a small smile, kissing the top of the others head again.
