"No one knew my real birthday so they just picked a day for me." he said looking at him and shrugged."its nothing that I really cared about I mean it was sad when everyone else got parties and I didn't get any...Since you don't age does that mean when I hit a certain age I won't age either?" he asked looking at him. "And thanks for the story it felt weird that I am an adult and had my father that I brought back to life read to me, but I liked it. Last night filled something I always wanted as a child." he said smiling not saying that he would cry himself to sleep some nights feeling unwanted and unloved

“I didn’t age becuase I died so in the time I was dead, I didn’t age a day” Corvo said with a nod.”Let’s see..I think I must have been about 25 when I had you so I am suppose to be 43 but becuase I died I am still technically 25” Corvo laughed with a small smile. “And as for your true birthdate..” Corvo said as he seemed to be recalling when he first got him and how old he was then.. “Your birthdate is October 25th” He said with a small smile, adding “I am glad that I could do that much for you”

"So are you going to start aging again now that you are alive again?" Raven asked looking out in the distance and took a deep breath as he relaxed and looked back at his dad. "October 25 I like that birthday." he said looking at him. "So my real birthday is coming up really soon." he said smiling. "Your the best you and Mahou."

“I should..It would be awkward if yougot older than me. I didn’t father you at the age of 7 and I do t want you being olde than me and me saying I’m your father” He laughed before finishing his weeding. “I hope so..Mahou is really fond of you you know? I’ve never seen him smile or care for anyone like that in the time I’ve known him” Corvo teased with a small smile

"yeah it would be a little awkward if I got older than you." Raven said smiling and shook his head. "Really he's the one that came out of nowhere and saved me. I honestly do not know where I would be if it wasn't for him right now. He's been taking real good care of me and I'm actually starting to fall for him." Raven said blushing

“My sons faking in lol e, that’s really cute” Corvo said with a small smile, patting his back. “I have never seen him out so much effort into one person before so a I am sure he is falling for you as well. I don’t think I’ve seen him love anyone, granted I last saw him when he was 10 but he seems to care a lot about you” Corvo smiles as he sat in the garden, scooting beside him.

"I care a lot about him as well. What I want to know is if what's pushing us together is the prophecy or not. Like is a prophecy making it to where we had these feelings for each other and that we are going to be lovers?" Raven asked she was really confused about his own emotions at this point he's never felt like this with anyone before and to be honest Raven was scared.

“If it was the prophecy alone, you would have found each other car sooner” Corvo said with a smile as he moved to sit in front of the other. “Now tell me..Does being around Mahou bring you joy? A happy feeling you can’t describe and all you want is to be near him? Now that my son is falling for him and loving him..” Corvo smiles, placing a hand on the others lap.

"really so it's not the prophecy?" Raven bit his lip and nodded. "When I'm with him he makes me feel funny sometimes I feel weightless. Like I am floating in the clouds and my stomach it starts feeling weird around him... He makes me happy he makes me feel loved he's the first person... The first person to ever stand up and help me." Raven replied looking at his father and then looking down at the ground as his hand started to play in the dirt.

“That is love Son..feeling like you can love them and be loved back. Wanting to help each other and grow like a flower” Corvo smiles and stuck a flower in his hair. “It will bloom like a beautiful flower the longer you are with each other..” He smiled, patting the others back.

"But doesn't flowers we and die every year? How could love be like that?" Raven blushed and smiled at him as his dad put the flower in his hair but he did look a little confused about the flower analogy to his dad just gave him.

“You misunderstood...Love is not like that. While a flower looks like it dies, that reperesents all the hardships you face when you’re in love. But forgiveness and caring for each other makes the flower bloom back in the spring. Nurture and care for your flower and it grows back every year” Corvo smiles at Raven.

Raven looked at him and smiled. "That's good so love never dies just evolves.." Raven said and looked at him. " I just don't understand love at all I am glad you are here to teach me and help us... So you don't mind two guys being in love?"

“Exactly..!” Corvo said with a happy smile. “And of course not! Love works in weird ways so who cares who loves each other. If they are happy then nothing else matters” Corvo smiles before looking toward the college. “It smells like breakfast is almost done. Why don’t you head on inside while I despose of the weeds I pulled” Corvo smiles again.

Raven gave a warm smiled and kissed his dad's cheek before getting up and heading inside the house to find Mahou finishing up and plates flying to the table. "Thanks for letting me go talk to my dad." He said walking out very and kissed Mahou on the lips. "Anything I can help you finish up with?"

Mahou turned to hear Raven coming back in, blushing faintly when he was kissed on the lips. “Uhh..Set some plates up please. Food is just about done” He said with a warm smile, messing with some steak in a pan. He wanted all sorts of stuff in his burrito.

Raven smiled and grabbed some silverware and cups of he started to set them on the table. Once everything was set and done h started to fill the cups up with orange juice. "Orange juice is okay to give to everybody correct."

“Plenty fine..” Mahou said as he set all of the burritos onto the plates. “Hopefully you like it..the food” Mahou said, hoping he liked the food he made. He found he spent more time cookin whoever Raven was involved or going to eat. He never used to care this much..

"I am sure I will. I let me anything made by you." Raven said as he set down at the table still feeling the weird feeling in his stomach. All Raven wanted was Mahou to be happy and he wanted to do anything to keep him that way.

Mahou laughed shyly, feeling that weird heart pounding sensation in his chest again. Raven could smile or say anything and he felt so happy. He only wanted to see that face beam with joy, even when he was sad he wanted to be there for him. This was really weird..

Raven smiled and looked at him the funny feeling never going away. "Alright so you want me to put the food on the table....And thanks for something other than soup...Everything that you make is sooooo good and I can't get enough of it." Raven said smiling looking at the door and waiting for his dad to come in. "So my dad told me my real birthday instead of the one that they slapped me with in the foster system." he said smiling

Mahou blushes more at the compliment, setting everything down on the table. “Oh really? When is it?” Mahou asked curiously, trying my to focus on the butterflies in his stomach.

 

Corvo came in soon after, smiling to himself when he saw Mahou blushing, who was quick to look away and focus on the food. “Looking good Mahou” He said with a smile, sitting down at the table. “I am sure Mahou think so too..and the food is good too” Corvo teased them both about Mahous looks.

"Its really soon my dad said it was October 25 and I can't wait to spend it with the two of you because I know this year will be different." Raven watched his dad come in and smiled. "This year on my Birthday I don't have to wish for someone to care about me any more its so great." Raven said as he grabbed some of the food and started to eat it smiling at the both of them

Corvo smiles with a small laugh. “I haven’t gotten a chance to know you yet so this year may be a bit subpar on the birthday front. But I’ll try my best” He smiled as they all ate their breakfast together. He had his family...and t was all his. “Ah, And Mahous Birthday is December 12th so he is a winter man” Mahou chuckled as he ate.

 

Mahou was glad he could be a part of the others wish, wanting to make sure this birthd of his was a good one. He would need to figure out a present..He had to get him something..but what?

Raven shook his head and smiled. "I don't need a Birthday...I have everything I want right here." he said smiling and looked at both of them. It was the truth he never really had on before. Every year on the birthday the foster system gave him he would still a lighter and light it then blow it out to make a wish. Even know that wasn't what you were suppose to do it was what he did because he wanted a family so bad. "I'm not good at getting anything for birthdays so I don't know what I would get you Mahou." he whispered
