“You could give him a pretty rock and I am sure he would be happy with it..” Corvo teased, a bit of breakfast burrito being flung at his face with Mahous magic. “Okay okay I’m done teasing” He laughed before looking at Raven. “Nonsense..You are getting a birthday party!” Corvo nodded, seeming that his mind would not be changed on the matter.

Mahou felt a bit embarrassed because he knew it was the truth. But he wanted to get Raven something for his birthday. Soon they were all finished with heir breakfast. Mahou sending the plates to the sink.

When Raven finished eating the plate went to the sink and he smiled as he drank is Orange Juice as well. "The meal was really good tho I think I might of liked the pancakes last night better...I guess I like sweeter things huh who knew.....Mahou if I can help you with lunch let me know,....But for now are we going to train today and I need to feel my kitty." he said smiling

“Mahou likes sweets too, like your lips” Corvo teased not and Mahou shoot him a glare. “Temper, I’m joking..You are getting angry for it to not be true” Corvo teased more before he went to the sink to begin washing dishes.

 

“I think you deserve a break..And get to spend more time with master” Mahou nodded, using some magic to get the kitten some milk and other things a small kitten might need. He carefully moved the bowl so it was within the kittens reach.

The kitten started to drink the milk and meowed.

 

"Really thanks for the brake Mahou....and dad stop teasing him too much." Raven said looking at his dad as he ran over and kissed Mahou and went back over to his dad. "So what do you want to do today dad.....I would love to learn more about you and everything." he said smilng

“Whaaaatb? I like teasing him, seeing him act all cute and loving someone makes me happy” Corvo smiles and Mahou turned red from that and Ravens kiss. “Well, where do you want to start?” Corvo asked, wanting to get some time with his son before Mahou took him away from him.

"Um I don't really care." Raven said blushing. "Anywhere you want to I know you like flowers and that my favorite are your favorite. I know what Mahou has told be, but I just want to get to know my dad." he said. "What do you like to do?" he asked giving him the cutest smile

Corvo chuckled, wrapping an arm around him and taking him out into the garden again. “I mainly like to tease Mahou so I got a lot of catching up to do” He chuckled before getting onto his actual favorite hobbies. “I suppose I like cooking, tending to my garden, reading and practicing all sorts of magic. Don’t like to brag or anything but I like to think of myself as a rather powerful mage” He laughed again before sitting in front of his favorite flowers.

Raven smiled as they went outside again the flowers made him smile as he set down next to his dad. "Yeah I think I might be as powerful as you so I do have a question. My mom was she a mage as well?" he asked looking at him even know she left him he still wanted to know what she was and how he was so powerful himself. "Or did I just get all of my power from you?"

“Your mother had mage in her bloodline and was a mage herself. Although her magic was never as strong, she was born two parents who were non magic users so her magic was never as strong as mine is or even yours just starting out” Corvo said with a small nod.

"Alright thats all I wanted to know about her." he said looking away. Raven didn't know if he wanted to meet her if she tossed him away like trash and didn't tell his father she was with child. "I am trying really hard I was hiding my powers away for so long I just don't even know what was going on when they exploded when I got mad..." he said sighing.

“Yes, you were intentionally hiding your powers and had no outlet to control them. Like blowing air into a balloon, you kept all the air in but kept blowing into it. Your bursts of power were like a popping ballon” Corvo smiles as he Patna his head. “Mahou was somewhat similar in that aspect when I first found him” He said with a small nod as he mused.

Raven smiled softly. "How did you fine Mahou?" Raven asked wondering about him. "I know I keep saying this but without him I probably would be dead." Raven told his father. "I wanted a knight in shining armor to save me so bad and finally one showed up." Raven said

“That’s adorable..” Corvo said at the mention of Mahou being his knight in shingling armor. “We’ll i was out and about doing something one day and there was a terrible forest fire. I felt something in the middle, a surging of power so I went to go take a look. In the middle of the forest was a tiny Mahou, scared out of his mind at his power bursting like that. I took him to my cottage here to protect him, probably similar to you” Corvo said with a small smile. “He bottled up his power and emotions, it coming out in a big fireball. So I set charms on him and the house so he can’t hurt any of us and slowly taught him to control his emotions, although it eventually turned into emotionless as I am sure you saw when you first met him” He said with a nod.

"thanks for telling me. I feel sorry for him. Does he not know his parents either. Well I guess I know who my parents are now but still it's kind of funny how he met me the same way that you met him." Raven said smiling.

“It is rather funny..” Corvo said with a small chuckle and a smile. “And no..He has no idea who his parents are..But I like to think that’s why he was drawn to you at first. He saw himself and didn’t want you to suffer” Corvo said with a friendly warm smile.

"I am glad that he saved me. Who would have thought the person that taught him, his master, would be my dad." Raven said looking at him then grabbed his dad's a hand. "I know what you did for me was the best, but I can't help to think that there might have been another option. Maybe give me to another mage family that wouldn't use me?"

“It worked out well..and I did not think you were suited for any of the mage families I knew..and I was panicking at the time. I knew they were coming for all of us and I had to flee wholeness a I had the chance..I am sorry I did that to you..” He nodded with a small smile. “I really am sorry..” He spoke softly with a sad lol. “I am glad he found you though..Mahou is a great man and has grown into a kind one with you around@ He smiled softly.

"Yeah I guess so but I didn't have the best experience. I mean if I tell you everything I went through you probably wouldn't feel that great about yourself I don't want to focus on the past I want to focus on the future right now." Raven told his father

“Thank you..I will make sure to make up for time lost and experiences you didn’t get. I am sure Mahou will be more than happy to help with those experiences. I want to make up for my being able to be a father all those years” Corvo smiles softly, taking him in a hug. “He must be done, I can see him peeking out the window” Corvo smiles, seeing Mahous head poking through the kitchen window.

"Well then I guess I can't wait to see everything that you will do for me." he said smiling and looked back when he said Mahou was looking out the window. It kind of reminded him like a lost puppy. "Alright well I better go back to Mahou he looks like he is lost without me." He said smiling and blushing as he thought about it.

Corvo chuckled at the comparison and at his sons blush. "Well he probably just didn't want to disturb your time with me...And.." Corvo teased while leaning into Ravens ear so he could whisper. "I think someone is looking forward to a kiss someone owes them..' He teased with a playful smile. "Now now, I am sure Mahou wants to spend more time with you regardless, even if he doesn't say so" Corvo said with another smile.

"DAD!" He said as his face went blood red. "Why do you like to tease us!" Raven said getting up and dusting himself off and looked at him. "Well I am going to Mahou now I will see you in a bit and thank you dad for everything now and in the future....I know i won't be able to stop saying thank you." he said smiling as he ran into the house to Mahou

"Because that's what fathers do and I have 18 years of teasing to catch up on..And I finally got you to brightly blush from the teasing so I know you want it too" Corvo smirked with a teasing smile. He watched him run off, going to tend to the food part of his garden next. "They really are good for each other.." he said to himself with a soft smile.

 

"I saw he showed you his flowers? Seemed like he was happy to show his son his garden?" Mahou smiled, watching as Raven ran into the house. "Someone is eager to get back inside" He laughed a little as he looked at him with a small smile.

"Yeah I was wanting any excuse to run from him." He said as he heard what he said and looked out the window. "He was teasing me out there and it felt weird. So I kind of had to run away as fast as I could." he said as he smiled at Mahou. "So I owe you a good long kiss. Should we take this into the bed room?" he asked

"That is Master for you.." Mahou shook his head with a small laugh that was quickly replaced by a blush from what the other said. "Um..I...yes" Mahou said as he extended his hand for the other to take, guiding them both towards Ravens room. He made enough room for Raven by sitting in the middle of the bed. "Okay..I am ready" Mahou said with a soft blush, the butterflies coming back to his stomach again.
