"I...uh...that...would be nice..." Persephone said shyly as he fixed his hair enough without a brush. He can't believe himself right now..He asked the god over death to read him a bedtime story and now to sleep next to him. What kind of a god was he? He felt like a small infant..

Hades smiled brightly at the younger man, his own wish to be beside the other was anything but childlike and he saw no shame in it. Finally he sat up on the bed, his own clothes and hair a mess after the unplanned nap and rested a hand lightly on the other god's shoulder. "take a brush for your hair. I have plenty around the palace." He suggested and assumed it was obvious that his own hair took a lot to untangle.

“Thanks..” Persephones chest hurt seeing Hades smile, finding a brush before getting comfortable in the bed. He worked on brushing his hair, hating the tangles and bunched up hair. He often had to if he went running through the woods but this was just after sleeping.

Seeing how the smaller man was willing to stay right there for the time being, Hades made no move to leave and allowed himself to enjoy his company. "I don't remember ever seeing someone with hair like yours, even when I used to live on the surface, with the other gods..." He commented quietly and reached out to feel one of the pink strands.

“Yeah, I am the only one with pink hair I have been told..or at least the first god in a long time with abnormally colored hair” Persephone smiled, not moving away the others hand as he brushed the other side. “But I like it, it looks like a little flower” He smiled, grateful for his Jair color.

-"It's also beautiful." Hades commented as he moved his hand away, not wanting to get in the way while the younger god brushed his hair. "Speaking of little pink flowers though, should we do anything with the one you grew yesterday?" He asked knowing it was a long while since they'd gone to sleep. It also crossed his mind to invite the other man to stay in his room as they'd already agreed to sleep in the same bed.

“Thank you” Persephone said with a smile at the other complimenting his hair. He really was friendly..He thought with a bigger smile. “It shouldn’t need to be trimmed but it will definitely need to be watered now” Persephone mentioned, wondering where they can get water down here. Maybe by a spring Hades mentioned the previous day? Any water would do..

Hades hummed in agreement and nodded but was reluctant to get up. He wished he could stay in bed all day, play with the younger gods pretty hair and place kisses on his face but he still remembered the last time he'd tried that and he wouldn't dare make things awkward again. "Lets water it then." He said finally and walked slowly back to his room. If any water would do, then there was plenty to be found in the underworld and even the palace.

“Let’s..!” Persephone smiles as he walked toward the others room with him. “If you like the hair, there is this cotton candy up there that looks like a giant fluffy pink cloud. You open the little box and it looks like there’s a cloud in there..if you are a fan of sweet things. But oh it is amazing!” Persephone said with the biggest smile.

Hades chuckled at the description, finding it hard to imagine a sweet that looked like a pink cloud. "That sounds ridiculous." He said but was still smiling, wondering about all the things that existed on the surface now that none of the dead could bring with them for him to see.

“You would love it! It makes me so happy. It melts in your mouth and it just tastes sooooo good!” Persephone laughed as they finally reached Hades room. “Still looking good..” He said with a smile toward the plant, looking over it to make sure all it needed today was water.

Hades hid it in his expression but he felt guilty hearing the young man so excited about a sweet from the surface world. He meant to keep him down there forever and he didn't know how to make up for the things the other god will never see and experience again.

-"Of course it is." Hades commented softly, glad that at least that tiny flower appeared to cheer Persephone up.

“We just need to grab some water and it will be good to go” Persephone laughed, giving Hades a peck on the cheek before pulling one small leaf off of the flower. “We just need to get He water and we won’t need to do anything else with it today” Persephone smiled happily up at Hades.

The kiss, no mater how brief, banished the dark thoughts that had started to plague Hades and he was briefly stunned, not having expected anything like this from the younger man. "I'll get some water." He informed the other god so he wouldn't think he was running out of the room again because of the peck on his cheek and left to get a glass. He filled it at one of the narrow streams that filled the pools inside the palace and returned within minutes. "It's cold." Hades warned as he handed the glass to the younger man.

“Okay..!” Persephone smiles happily, waiting for Hades to return. It dawned on him slowly what he did and he turned a bright red. He just..kissed him on the cheek and willingly. What was getting into him? He had no explanation as his blush faded when Hades had returned with the water. “Perfectly ffine..” He smiles, feeling the cold of the water through the glass as he carefully poured it into the small bowl.

Hades watched quietly as the other god watered the flower and wondered when he'd become so innocent minded that a peck on the cheek meant the world to him. He'd had lovers but that too was hundreds of years ago and he could barely remember what having someone was like. He couldn't tell if the younger god was only being kind to him and couldn't make sense of what he wanted from him either. "I'm glad your little flower is doing well. Is there anything you need or... want though?"

“I don’t know..I don’t want to make you suffer from your allergies to get things I would want from the surface..” Persephone said, remembering his tearing eyes. “I really would want you to try that candy..I’d think you love it.” He said with a small smile. He did t want him to suffer just to get him things..

-"My allergies aren't the issue... Someone has to watch over the underworld. When you met me on the surface I'd stolen away a moment to go up... see the sky and the forest again, but i can't do it often." Hades explained but doubted this would help the younger god understand why he took him. "I'll still try to think of a way to get you everything you want."

“Ah..I see” Persephone said with a sigh, figuring this was why he never met Hades before he..got taken down here. “Thanks for trying all the same..” Perry said quietly as he made sure to double check the little flower was well taken car did before they left the room. “I’m going to take a shower..Haven’t had one since I’ve been down here” He said quietly, still feeling a bit messy, even cleaning off the mud was a basic rinse.

"Sure. Though all of the water in the palace flows in from streams, all of it is cold. If you don't mind, you can just wash yourself in one of the pools." Hades offered, he knew he would have to go out among the spirits some time soon, or sit on his throne. He wondered how to make sure the younger man would stay in the palace without having to lock him away again.

“That will be fine enough..Lead the way” Persephone smiled, happy to be shown to a pool. Even if he had to bathe in a stream, the pool sounded a lot nicer to clean himself in. Then he could feel much cleaner and know where he pools were for later..

The same hallway that both their rooms opened into also lead to the pools, however the chamber and even its doors were larger and appeared more open. A large body of water took up most of the floor, surrounded by countless candles for illumination, and in the background the sound of running water could be heard. Hades lead Persephone the short way there and opened one side of the double wing door for him to come in.

“It’s beautiful...” Persephone said as he saw all of the candles and their light reflecting on the pool water. “It looks gorgeous” He smiled as he went to take off his shirt and clothes, quickly hopping into the pool. “It’s not terrible, a little cold but I don’t mind..!” Persephone smiled from in the water, going under to wet his hair.

Hades lingered by the door, not wanting to make the younger man uncomfortable by coming in without having a reason to be there. "I'll bring you a towel for when you're done." He informed and returned to his room to look through the drawers, glad to know the other god was pleased with the pool.

Persephone swan around happily before he focused on his actual task of cleaning himself. He washed and bathed until he felt clean enough, stepping out of the pool as he waited for Hades return.
