Alexander blushed at all of the things Xander was saying to him, quickly grabbing a pizza slice to calm down. He tied his hair back up so it wouldn’t get in the pizza, not caring if the Nicky was showing anymore. He took a bite of his pizza, loving how warm and cheesy it tasted, it was simply perfect

It was nice to not be the one blushing this time, finding that the blush that appeared on Alexander's face was just all that more adorable. As they were eating a thought hit him, "How'd Daniel react to you telling him that there was someone coming by tomorrow to help us with him? I wonder how long the expert will stick around... hopefully for awhile at least. Maybe even until Daniel is done with his heat. I thought we knew everything we needed to about the centaurs, but this makes me feel like we don't know anything at all." Xander said with a sigh before taking another bite of his slice.

“He felt confused for a bit like I was implying something was wrong with him. But he was happier when he understood it was to understand centaurs better since he is a unique case” Alexander said as he managed to stop blushing a bright red. He went back to eating his pizza as he continued to think. “We have to think of questions we want to ask him for the sanctuary and we need a method to pay at least his lodging or some incentive to continue staying here and working with us”

"Which is kind of understandable. But I'm glad you were able to get that worry set aside, this could be more common than we know." Xander said as he was finishing his slice and reaching for another. They apparently didn't know as much about centaurs as they had thought they did, so for all the knew, this could be quite normal and just a first for the Sanctuary because Daniel was feeling even happier here. Not to mention he was a one of a kind at the sanctuary, so it wasn't like they knew much if anything about his type of centaur. The mention of questions they wanted to ask the man for the sanctuary made him nod, "There is a lot we need to ask him. Get as much information from him as possible to help us better care for them all. But maybe he's encountered centaur like Daniel before. He could help us understand more about him than just his heat, he's clearly the most different and the rarer of the species we have. We need to be able to cater to him better, if there is stuff we are missing. Or stuff we are missing for any of them to be honest." Xander said as he relaxed against the couch watching the movie for a moment or two.

 

"Well... I mean I have a guest room at home if he needs a place to stay he can stay with me. That way we won't have to worry about paying lodging since the sanctuary is already have a rough financial time. Maybe he could help get us in touch with organizations that could help us financially. Or even help us better reabilitate the ones we can release to more critically endangered areas. This man coming here... it could open a lot of doors for the sanctuary, maybe him interacting with the centaurs here will be enough to convince him to stay." Xander hoped that was the case, hoped it would be that easy but if not a few days with the man might tell them all they need to know about him to make an offer he couldn't refuse.

"You are right...yeah, yeah you're right!" Alexander said as Xander's words managed to calm him further. "It could be a completely normal thing for that particular kind of centaur or even all centaurs! Daniel is one of a kind at Olympus so we can only know so much about him. Maybe this man has most likely seen his kind before or- I don't even know I am just rambling at this point! Today is just turning out to be a very strange but great day" He laughed as he grabbed more pizza. Today was a roller coaster of emotions for sure but he did not mind it one bit!

 

"Are you sure...?" Alexander asked, surprised but happy he made such a generous offer. "You really are the best, a generous one on top of that but thats not a secret I still need to see" He joked, referring to their comments earlier about Xander keeping more hidden from him besides being a great kisser. "We can do so much with his help! If we can manage to make him a member of the staff, he can provide so much for us!" Alexander smiled, kissing him happily before pulling away quickly with a blush. "A-Anyway, I really hope we can make him stay"

"Exactly. It could be common for either his type or all and this is just the first time it's been experienced at Olympus. Daniel's heat... it could be a great thing." Xander said as they continued to eat their pizza. There was so much they didn't understand about the centaurs, things they hadn't realized they were missing until now and it was... eye opening! It made Xander want to know them more, understand how heats could happen in males like Daniel, but not just that. There was a lot this man could end up teaching them and he was more than eager to learn all he could from him and improve the lives of the centaurs at Olympus.

 

"Of course I am. I don't mind him staying with me, especially if it helps Daniel." Xander said giving Alexander a small smile. A small smirk appeared on his face and he chuckled when Alexander made a joke referring to their earlier comment. "What can I say? You draw a sweet side out of me." He teased back nudging the other gently. The kiss was unexpected but appreciated as he was happy to return the quick kiss before Alexander was pulling away and blushing making him look all the more adorable. "You look incredibly cute when you blush like that." Xander mused with a large smile his eyes shinning. "I am sure we can, if not for our hospitality and general love of the centaur then because of Daniel himself. I'm sure even in heat that he'll quickly win over the man's heart and that will be enough for him to stay."

“You are right, this expert could be a real asset to Olympus. The more we can learn about any species, and his, the more centaurs we can save and continue to help. This is perfect!” Alexander spoke with a big grin. He was ready to learn all that he needed to. A male centaur experiencing heat was a phenomenon to him, not like he could get pregnant he thought but the idea left so many possibilities open!

 

“Are you sure you don’t want him staying with me? You are too amazing..” Alexander chuckled, glad Xander was willing to host the centaur expert. “Oh come on now” Alexander’s blush not lessening after being told it was cute. “Either way, Daniel can win over anyone you are right, Heat or not. If it’s common or uncommon, his input will be a value and tell us how to improve Olympus for more centaurs or in its current state”

"That's true, having an expert like this will make it so Olympus can help other centaurs, maybe even species we haven't even seen yet. There is no telling just how many types of centaurs there are after all. We can only experience so many from this part of the world, but there could be hundreds or even thousands of different subspecies of centaur." Xander said thinking about it himself. There was no telling what centaurs were out there in other parts of the world, "It may even make it so we could take in centaurs from other regions of the world to help their conservation worldwide, not just nationally." He added as such thoughts occurred to him.

 

"I'm sure, I really won't mind him staying with me. Though if you want to be that insistent you're more than welcome to stay with me too." Xander purred half teasing half serious. "That's true, that little centaur has a way of crawling into the hearts of others. I just can't understand why anyone would treat him like bait." Xander sighed as he relaxed back against the couch an arm wrapped around Alexander's waist and enjoying their closeness. "We'll see the man in the morning. Right now, let's enjoy a bit more of each other." He purred turning Alexander's head to catch his lips in another kiss. He was going to make sure he enjoyed the opportunity to make out with Alexander before his friend could wake up in the morning and decide if this was some sort of mistake or not.

“Yes, having multiple regions of centaurs would be rather beneficial in the long run. The more species and regions we can conserve the better” Alexander agreed with a big smile. He heard the other mention staying with him, letting his own smirk spread across his face for a moment. “I might just have to take you up in the offer, have the sexiest stay here so we have more time together hm?” Alexander teased back, also half serious. He blushed a bit at the others arm around his waist and the sudden pull into a deep kiss. He returned it happily, eyes slipping shut

"Not to mention it would be a beautiful diversity to the centaurs already in the sanctuary. I'm interested in how vastly they can differ by region just like other animals." Xander was honest as he thought about it but was quite interested in seeing all the different types of centaurs from different regions of the world. Alexander making a tease like that made him hum happily at the thought with a small smirk, "I can't say I'd mind that." Xander definitely wouldn't argue such an idea as having Alexander stay with him and the specialist stay in Alexander's home if that was what the man wanted to do. Or even vice versa if he was being honest he could stay with Alexander and the scientist could stay in his home. Either way he liked the idea of having Alexander to himself, even if he also didn't mind housing the specialist until they figured out if he was staying with them at which point they could help him get into his own house.

 

Alexander was returning the deep kiss he had pulled him into which made Xander smile into it as he slipped a hand into the man's white hair and held him close to his body. By the time their lips finally parted his breath was unsteady, but he was quite happy and smiled at the other man. "I can get used to nights like this. Cuddling with a cutie like you, watching movies, having a nice meal... having you all to myself." Xander whispered before he leaned in to kiss Alexander's neck. A smirk appearing as he suddenly stood up and pulled the other to his feet, "Let's go get some sleep. We have another early morning and we'll have to separate Daniel and Alfred again something I am sure Alfred will not be eager in allowing to happen." Xander wanted to tease Alexander and see how much his friend really wanted, that and they really did have an early morning and a busy day ahead of them.

“The diversity would certainly help us learn more, even if some centaurs would not normally interact in the wild. The more diverse the population, the better no matter what really” Alexander would definitely need to expand at some point or get the funds to make improvements much less continue operating at their current capacity. The centaurs deserves to be treated at their best for the time they are here, whether permanent or otherwise. “Well, I guess you will just have to get your things and come live here then..Move your things tomorrow?” He said with a small smile, holding the other tight. His day certainly ended in a high note.

 

Alexander face turned a bright red while he was trying to catch his breath. Having him over all the time..was going to be perfect. “You are right, is is an early day tomorrow” He spoke as he led him to his bedroom. “So glad I have a big bed..” he sighed as he found his comfortable pajamas he likes to wear and crawled into bed

"That's true. We would definitely learn a lot more. Maybe even become specialists ourselves!" Xander said with a smile as he was admiring the other. "How could I not with you being that eager?" He mused thinking about what he would move over. "How long have you been waiting to tell me to move in?" Xander suddenly teased Alexander with a smirk on his face finding that he was quite interested and wanted to know if Alexander had thought about saying that to him before. Especially since he was always giving him rides and stuff, it would make sense that it had occurred to him before. Even if or maybe because he had thought of kissing him before.

 

"Aw! You'd be even more excited if it was a small one, admit it!" Xander teased as he shed his shirt and slipped out of his pants before he was more than happy to slip in beside Alexander in just his boxers. "I'll stay on my side of the bed I promise. Unless of course you want to snuggle." It was hard for Xander not to tease Alexander, after so long of just watching his friend from the sidelines he couldn't help it. But he'd do his best to behave himself and at the very least remain on his side of the bed.

“I would love to eventually be a specialist, this expert will definitely help pave the way for that” Alexander said eagerly on the way to his room. He was happy when the other accepted his offer, glad he could cook more for the other and fill the emptiness of his house. Alexander coughed a bit in embarrassment at the others teasing question. While not under This circumstance, he had been waiting to ask for a bit. He always gave rides and loved to cook for him, so why not have him move in? It made sense!

 

“N-no!” Alexander quickly retorted with a red face, showing that that was far from then truth. He tried not to blush at Xander in just his boxers. It was just a body..like anyone else’s..it was just a cute..sexy..ahhh focus! Alexander turned even redder at his thoughts. “I guess..snuggling is okay..” He mumbled as he placed himself in a position to be little spoon

In the end Xander had to admit moving in with Alexander seemed utterly perfect and long overdue, there was a lot that made him think that way too. For one they had been good friends for a very long time and with as much as Alexander cooked for him, gave him rides and he came over to spend the night it only seemed right that he just move in and make things even easier for the both of them. This way it gave the expert a home to himself as well, offering up his home to the man and allowing him to take it over. That alone might be enough to show the man how much they needed and wanted him at the sanctuary.

 

Slipping into place behind Alexander, Xander immediately wrapped his arms around the other and held him close resting his head on the pillow behind the other. "If you keep blushing like that I'm never going to be able to stop teasing you. It makes you look far too cute." Xander told the other man honestly. Wanting to be as honest as possible though he was definitely thrilled that Alexander was allowing him to snuggle up to him as there had been many times he had wanted to do so and never had the nerve. Now that they had the chance he wasn't going to waste the opportunity.

“Quit it..” Alexander mumbled, even more embarrassed and only getting redder. It was an odd feeling snuggling someone like this, especially long time friend Xander. But he was..happy. He felt so warm in the bed and having someone hold him made him feel wonderful! He liked being held more than he wanted to admit, finding it relaxing even if his heart was racing. He found his eyes slipping shut, finding it terribly easy to fall asleep in the others arms.

 

Arthur woke up the next morning to the sounds of the heated centaurs going mad in the other stalls. The scents were even stronger today, especially in his own stall. The other centaur smelled so..perfect to him. He kept him arms wrapped up around the smaller male, curled up around the smaller figure

A soft chuckle was Xander's response to Alexander telling him to quit it, his eyes drifting shut as he nudged the other gently, his eyes falling shut. Xander slept peacefully that night, probably some of the best he had just because he was able to hold the warm body of the other man in his arms all night. When he woke up in the morning it was to the sound of an alarm and he groaned as his eyes forced themselves open. The moment they fell on Alexander in his arms a bright smile appeared and he leaned forward to kiss his neck before he was slipping away to get showered and dressed stretching his muscles and groaning softly. It would be another busy day it seemed, even if he wanted it to be anything but.

 

Daniel had slept oddly well despite the odd way his body felt, and when he woke up in the morning it was while still being curled up in Alfred's arms. The larger centaur seemed to be awake already and was still curled around him, not that Daniel remotely minded it. Though the scents in the barn were definitely more intense, and he shifted in the other's arms as he glanced around their stall trying to get a feel for where the other scents were coming from. It was easy for him to tell more centaurs were in heat today than just himself and the other few who had shown signs yesterday. The heat season seeming to be in full swing now, but his attention was on the lovely and thick scent that was coming from their stall. Turning his head his blue eyes landed on Alfred and taking another sniff it was clear the heavenly scent was coming from the large centaur. It smelled... amazing! It was woodsy and strong and his normal musky scent seemed to be heightened and ten times stronger than it was. Daniel's heart was quick to start beating intensely in his chest, his body feeling even warmer in Alfred's arms than it already had.

Alexander stirred when he felt a small warm feeling on his neck, tossing around in the bed. He felt around for the other, not feeling him there and only then opening his eyes. Another early day..He thought as the scientist would be meeting them all Olympus. Must be taking a shower..Alexander thought as he went to make breakfast for the both of them. It was going to be a long day and he was not going to let Xander leave the house without eating a hearty breakfast. He started making eggs, toast sausage and bacon as he went to get two plates for them to eat before they left.

 

Wild flowers...Daniels musky scent smelled like the sweetest wild flowers and grass, all the more pleasing wafting to his nose. While everything smelled so appealing, none smelled more appealing than the centaur that currently was in his arms. The warmer body was a personal heat source and he Loved it! It seemed Daniel finally woke up as those gorgeous eyes looked back at his, able to feel the others heartbreak against his arms. “Morning..” He finally spoke up, not looking away from him

Stepping out of the shower Xander was met by the most delicious smells ever making his mouth water instantly as he could smell breakfast from the bathroom. He was quick to dry off and dress before heading downstairs to join Alexander a large happy smile on his face. "Breakfast smells amazing!" Xander said happily as he looked over what Alexander had cooked and feeling like the man had gone overboard but definitely looking forward to eating it. "I am definitely going to be spoiled." He mused as he settled himself down at the table and instantly grabbed a piece of bacon happily munching on it. "How did you sleep?" Xander asked after finishing his bite, giving Alexander a curious look.

 

"Morning." Daniel repeated his eyes not wavering from Alfred's who was watching him in a manner that both made his heart pound even faster and his chest and made his breathing a little unsteady. His mind was clouded from a sudden wave of emotions and the way his body felt. Everything seemed heightened and intense. Before Daniel was aware of what he was doing he leaned forward, catching the other centaur's lips in a morning kiss, leaning into it.

“If you can call this spoiled than yes..You are not going without a meal mister! Especially on what might turn out to be a busy day!” Alexander said with a firm nod. “You could have waited until I got there or put it on a plate” He chuckled before bringing the plates over, setting one down in front of Xander and one in front of himself. He handed them both a form and knife and begun to dig in. “Slept great..first time in awhile I can remove sleeping this good” He commented as he ate a sausage.

 

Daniel had such a sweet soothing alluring voice, making his heart pound like mad in his chest. His gaze never wavered for a moment as they both shared a silent gaze. He was quick to find himself in a morning kiss, his lips matching the sweetness and warmth of the rest of his body. He leaned into it as well, holding the others torso close

"Consider how I normally eat you know this is very much having me spoiled." Xander laughed though he didn't remotely mind that he was already munching on some of the food before Alexander even had a chance to put a plate down in front of him. "I can't help it! I'm starving and this smells so good!" He replied as he took another piece of bacon before he was filling his plate with eggs, sausage and toast. Breakfast was great and he enjoyed every bite of it, humming happily as he munched on it and sipping from his coffee. It was a great way to start the day and Xander was really happy to hear that Alexander had slet great, which had apparently been the first time in awhile he could remember doing so. "Good! I'm glad you got a good nights sleep, you needed it. We get to meet that specialist today, and I have to admit I'm quite eager to see how this goes."

 

Alfred appeared to be acting odd to Daniel but he didn't complain or bring attention to it. The larger centaur seemed just as happy to return the kiss as Daniel had been to give it to him, feeling how he was held close to Alfred. When their lips parted Daniel's breaths were even faster than they were before and his eyes were shinning slightly as he looked up at Alfred before a soft blush appeared on his face. "You smell even more amazing today." Daniel whispered not even sure if Alfred could hear him but wanting to express it all the same. Even if it was embarrassing to tell Alfred that he smelled great, or to express any attraction he had to the large centaur. 'So strong...' Daniel thought as he ran his fingers over the other's torso, tracing the lines of his muscles.

“Okay, you win on that front..You are getting very spoiled” Alexander chuckled some more before he continued on with his breakfast. “I am excited for that, we will hopefully get to understand more about centaurs or at least Daniel over time. The day is starting off on a good note” He smiled as he quickly finished, leaving the table to go get dressed. “Ready when you are” He said as he put the plates in the sink to save for later an d wrapping up any leftovers.

 

Their lips finally parted, trying to steady his heart rate and breathing. He heard the others quiet compliant about his smell, knowing he too felt the same about Daniel. “You smell delightful..” Alfred said quietly, his own hand tracing the curves of the others waist. ‘Smooth..petite..’ he thought to himself in comparison to his own body. He loved the feeling of the others hands feeling his muscles, making his blood boil

Finishing his breakfast while Alexander went off to get dressed he was lounging and sipping his coffee when the man returned to pack away the leftovers. Getting up and rinsing out his cup he set it in the sink before moving to follow Alexander towards the door making sure he had everything he needed for the day with him. "I'm ready." Xander said being quick to follow Alexander out the door so the other man could lock the house up. By the time Alexander had finished doing that Xander was already impatiently bouncing on his feet beside the other's car smiling at him and encouraging him to hurry up. Being quite excited to see how today panned out.

 

For awhile Daniel was happy to remain just like that, feeling the other centaurs torso and enjoying their closeness. After a few minutes though Daniel finally made to get up and got to his feet, stretching his legs and happy to be up once more. His little deer tail twitched as he glanced around the stall once more before he turned his gaze back to Alfred and admired the bigger centaur once more. A soft blush on his face still as he found himself staring at quite literally every visible muscle which was quite many. Smiling at Alfred Daniel was kind of quick to dart towards the stall doors before he was darting back to the other when he had stood up as well. Instantly he pressed himself up against the other again, finding that it made little sparks run through him to be this close to Alfred and deeply craving more touch and contact. But... he was afraid of asking him for it... afraid of asking Alfred to give him more touch and to touch him how he really wanted. Not just afraid but embarrassed, not understanding these feelings and this sudden deep rooted need.

Alexander focuses on locking up his house properly, turning only to see Xander waiting for him by his car impatiently. “I’m coming I’m coming” Alexander shook his head with a small laugh, leaving his hair down until the hickey from his other date would go away. He had only gone on it the day before yesterday and it turned into Xander touching him and moving in with him. An odd last few days..He thought as he unlocked the doors. He turned on the car and started the drive to Olymous.

 

Arthur watched the other get up, staring at that little deer tail of his twitch. He felt aware of the others every movement more so than usual. Every graceful bend and movement of the others body was in his gaze, not letting it go as he finally stood up. Daniel was quickly at his side again, his skin feeling all prickly in a way he never felt or could begin to explain. He had this instinctual need to be close to Daniel..and wasn’t sure how to convey it to the other without sounding unsure or weird. His hands slowly moved along the others torso, his heartbeat feeling like it was racing

Once they were in the car and on their way to Olympus he turned his gaze back to the Alexander finding himself quite curious. "How do you think Daniel and Alfred did all night? I mean... it must be a bit difficult for Alfred being around Daniel during his heat. Especially since Alfred had never experienced a heat before being the only centaur on the farm." Xander said expressing some concern for the other centaur while also being quite curious. "I'm also really excited for the specialist to arrive. We should have enough time to turn the other centaurs out and separate Daniel and Alfred before he arrives so he can help us understand Daniel's condition better before we let Daniel out with the other's again.

 

Being quick to jump back to Alfred's side when the other centaur had stood up he was smiling happily at the larger centaur when he felt Alfred reach out, his hands moving along his torso. It made his heart skip a beat before it was pounding heavily in his chest, looking up at the other with a slightly needy and heated look. This whole thing was weird and new but he knew one thing for sure. He enjoyed every touch Alfred gave him and he wanted more of it. Pressing himself up against Alfred a bit more firmly he tilted his head for another kiss. This time the kiss was soft and expressed a different feeling before it was broken and he was staring up into the other's eyes. "You can... touch more..." Daniel said softly encouraging the centaur to touch more of him, wanting him to do so but still being shy in voicing it.

Alexander heard the other ask about the pair, confident in their getting along over night. “I am sure they did just fine. While Daniel experiencing heat for the first time around a centaur who never really had a heat..But they are friendly already towards one another. I am sure they are fine” He said to soothe more so himself of any worries he could have had. “I can imagine though Alfred will not be happy being speared with the heat getting to its peak. We will definitely need multiple workers to help on this one..” He nodded, knowing Alfred would be likely to put up a fight or at least not go quietly

 

The needy look the other gave made these feelings coursing through his body feel even worse. His didn’t think his heart could beat faster when Daniel leaned up to kiss him again. He heard the other mention touching him more, words failing him so he nodded in response. His hands dipped lower onto the others body, down his torso and running slowly over his flank. One hand lightly and repeatedly grazed the others tail while his free hand towed with He others deer ears
