He very briefly and insanely attacks Takaya with his powers, who takes a blow (which wrecks Naoe's apathy; "Kagetora-sama!") and responds by shooting him in the chest with the gun. Terumoto shrieks, convulses and stops moving. Takaya stays frozen as he is, arms stretched out holding the gun, breathing wildly, eyes wide open. Takaya: "Ah.... ah...." Naoe: "-----It's alright. Don't be afraid..." Hearing that low whisper in his ear, Takaya's body relaxes immediately. Naoe: "Don't be afraid..." Naoe: "I can die instantly, if you pull the trigger. I can die easily. If 'death' has been decided, there's no longer any reason to keep living. So hurry and end it... It can all end with this!" Takaya (through his tears): "You don't want to end it all! You don't want to end it! Those aren't your real feelings; all this time, you've never wanted to end it!"
