Basics Part II Continuation II (LAYERS)

 

Now that you know about fill layers, lets talk about layer styles. The difference between layer styles and fill layers is that layer styles won't create a new layer, they will just use that same layer to create a gradient or solid color, or pattern. Other than that, they pretty much work the same as fill layers in a sense. You will notice you have a lot more options with this layer styles than with fill layers. To access to them, all you need to do is follow these steps.

 

Click on Layer > then on layer styles

 

You will see a bunch of different option other than gradient/solid colors/ or patterns. The video bellow shows how to use these layer styles. So plz watch it carefully.
