chiakaiyuki
I got a reply from one of the people I sent my message to. They basicly said (amongst about 6 paragraphs of I did this and that and you should support me because of this blah blah blah) that as part of the EFA party they were fighting against ACTA, and if I wanted to help more I should get in touch with the liberal and social-democrat parties >. Right. (This is why I can't deal with politics. GIVE ME NAMES) At least someone has the right idea tho.

mixlol
I've got this mail, maybe most of u got it.. but I'll post it for the people who didn't : With an incredible showing of power and belief, over 300,000 people in 72 hours called on the European Parliament to reject the rights-threatening international copyright treaty, ACTA. We’ve shone a bright light on the countries that signed this secretly negotiated agreement – but the fight to save the internet is far from over. ACTA still needs to be approved by the European Parliament, and if it goes down there, the agreement will effectively be dead in the water. Now we invite you to join us by taking to the streets at a protest near you on Feb 11. You signed the petition against ACTA, now check out the amazing map below showing the global day of action, and grab a friend to join a protest and make your voice heard: Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. If you can’t make a protest, you can still participate. Go to our Tumblr page and show your solidarity with the Feb. 11 protestors by submitting a picture, words of support, or protest signs! Your pictures and words will be posted on our page, and the best signs will be printed out by us and given to protestors on Feb. 11. Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. As you know, the internet is facing many threats and in 2012 Access will ask for your help on those issues. This is the year to protect the internet, and it starts with all of us! We're right in the center of the fight for digital freedom in 2012 and we're happy to have you with us. The internet has been used for activism. Now it’s time to use activism to save the internet. Thanks for all your support, Brett Solomon Access Executive Director PS: For ACTA updates, make sure to follow Access on Twitter at Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links.

mixlol
ACTA blowing up! What started as a few scattered demonstrations against ACTA has exploded into an international day of action this Saturday! There are nearly 200 events across the world, with hundreds of thousands of people expected to hit the streets to protest this dangerous international agreement. Our feet have not yet hit the pavement, but our voices are already being heard! Facing a groundswell of opposition to ACTA, the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia are already wavering on ratification and the European Parliament’s point person for ACTA resigned his post in protest. With ACTA’s supporters starting to wake up, we're facing a critical moment. ACTA can still be stopped in the European Parliament, and if it’s defeated there, the whole agreement will unravel. Momentum is on our side and we must not stop now. Click through to find out how to join hundreds of thousands of people protesting online and offline against ACTA: Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Here you’ll find information about ACTA, a listing of Saturday's protests, fact sheets in several languages to hand out, and steps to download the ACTA Protest USTREAM App so you can livestream the event using your mobile phone. If there’s no protest near you, host one by starting a Facebook event and e-mail Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. the link. While we support the rights of creators, protection of intellectual property should not come at the expense of freedom of speech and our privacy. It is the duty of government to protect our rights, not put them in the hands of corporations and encourage ISPs to act as judge, jury, and executioner over our content and web activity. Once seen as a done deal, ACTA’s fate is now hanging in the balance. The world is watching. Stand up for internet freedom this Saturday and protest ACTA! Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. See you out there, The Access Team P.S. Our petition has hit 350,000 and is still growing. To have the most impact in the European Parliament, it needs to get to 500,000. mixlol
I'v got this E-mail : Only a few weeks ago, Canada stood side by side with countries around the world in protest of ACTA. Now it's time for the world to stand with Canada, whose citizens are facing an even more immediate threat. Put yourself in their shoes: What if your government was considering a policy that would force ISPs to provide unrestricted access to your data to law enforcement at any time, for any reason, and without a warrant? What would you do if your country's leaders were trying to rewire the Internet to support systems of constant digital surveillance? Canadians are facing these dangers in the form of Bill C-30, and Canadian Public Safety Minister Vic Toews (right) is bent on getting it passed despite strong opposition from the public. When we asked you last week to identify the largest threats facing the internet today, the response was unequivocal: Stop online censorship, invasions of privacy, and digital surveillance (See the P.S.). C-30 is the embodiment of these fears, as it would create a closed and monitored internet. Stand up for the rights of Canadian citizens and call on the Canadian government to abandon C-30: Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Democratic governments such as Canada's should be setting an example of openness and respect for civil liberties for the world -- not taking cues from repressive regimes like Syria and Iran. The good news is that support for C-30 is starting to waver, and we can deliver the knock-out punch. Invasion of privacy. Perpetual online surveillance. You told us that these are your greatest concerns. Now is your chance to stop them: Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. mixlol
I got this e-mail just now as well,I hope every one to take an action!! In a shocking display of bravado, the Pakistani government has put an ad in their national papers asking for companies to help them build a national Chinese-style censorship firewall. This would censor 20 million internet users in one go! Since the ad was published, we've worked with our friends in Pakistan calling on the Prime Minister to put an end to this madness. As part of a growing international coalition, we're going a step further by urging international and local corporations to publicly denounce the project and vow not to submit proposals to build this massive censorship system. At least four western IT companies have already said they won't participate (Websense, Cisco, Verizon, and Sandvine). Now we need you to help persuade other firms to urgently follow suit before the bidding deadline this Friday. Add your name here calling upon Bluecoat, Huawei, McAfee, Netsweeper, ZTE, and all other local bidders to refuse to play a role in putting up the walls of censorship. Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. We have already won a battle like this before, when you helped convince four Western companies to withdraw from building a new surveillance system in Syria. The people of Pakistan have a hard fight ahead of them and they are asking for our help, including stopping local groups from bidding. As we acknowledge World Day Against Cyber-Censorship on March 12, and recognize that one-third of all internet users do not have access to an unrestricted internet, we need assurances from all of these companies that they won't participate in censorship. We need their word, so let's ask them for it. Sign the petition below and we'll target each corporation before the deadline: Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Saga
Feds are hungry for money and power. No one gives a sh*t if a ten years old is browsing the porn sites at the moment(Of course,no one from these hypocrite. Don't get me wrong). Everything starts in one's personality and family. If they are such good parents, they better scatter off to their house and check on their own kid before telling to the other parents how to do 'their job'. It's a lame excuse and pretty low to use kids as an indirect robbery. Taking the freedom away,as well our money(How they do it,don't worry - they know their thing.).
