HEAVEN'S FLOWER

 

When I opened my eyes

My first sight was Heaven's Flower.

Since that day,

I am conscious of God near me and it's wonderful.

 

Since my early childhood,

I've dreamed of that tender moment,

To see the Flower that the Lord gave me, saying,

"Child of my creation,

I give you a precious moment in time

By sending to you

Heaven's Special Flower.

For you a new life has begun,

I am happy that I was the one

To have given it to you."

 

That first sight of Heaven's Flower

Is engraved upon my heart,

And as day passes into night,

Then into day again, forever

I shall always remember it.

PORTRAIT OF A LEADER

 

You are the Alpha Male,

The leader of the pack,

You command respect from those within.

 

When you howl at the moon

Your cry echoes across the valley,

Letting others know you are near.

 

You walk head and tail high

Along the boundaries of your territory.

Your big yellow eyes pierce the night

As you watch over your family.

 

Your beautiful fur shines in the moonlight

As you stand strong and ready

To protect and defend at a moments notice.

 

You are an amazing creature

An animal we call WOLF,

And in many ways you are like us.

I wrote this one after reading Christine Feehan's books of her Carpathian vampires.

 

Dreaming

 

He comes to me in dreams,

As I lay sleeping

His eyes glowing blazes of fire,

As they look upon me.

 

His warm hands touch me,

And I shiver with longing

They caress my cheek,

And I feel cherished.

 

His lips graze mine,

As they travel to my neck

His tongue flicks out,

And caresses my pulse.

 

His teeth nip, then pierce

As I moan and accept,

He drinks my lifeblood

As I slowly fade away.

 

He stops and says,

Now you my love,

I nuzzle his chest,

And my teeth pierce.

 

I drink his lifeblood,

As his hands hold my head

His taste enters my body,

And I feel strengthened.

 

I rise and stand before him,

As he smiles and takes me in his arms

He plunders my lips,

As my arms encircle him.

 

We walk to the edge of the cliff,

And hand in hand

We jump and shape-shift,

And fly to join our brethren.

 

I dream of him,

As I lay sleeping

Because his heart and mine,

Are now one.
