[Saga]

 

The zi'lin just finished his smoke when he lifted a brow. It was an odd feeling he felt. Something wasn't right and he knew exactly what it was. Sitting calmly on the bench with his arms crossed in front of chest,he frowned.

It wasn't because of the noisy group of girls surrounding the pegasus and him,but he smelled blood. More exactly, di'law's blood. Teix calmly spoke up to the now school's doctor,his pegasus.

-''You've got work to do,Rix. Go back to the office,I'll see you later.''

 

As it would be considered as a command,Ziach glanced up at the cloudy sky now.

-''Got it.'',Rix knew that smell. The blood of a di'law was spreading around the school. Such a dangerous time,they had to cover the scent of this certain blood. As well,Ziach was afraid to be around Skayn when blood was the case. Else,the smallest mistake,and the seal would be broken,if their blood mix together.

 

As soon as Rix left for the school's cabinet,the zi'lin glanced over a certain branch of the nearest tree.

There was an odd presence. But the only thing standing there was a bird that curiously stared at Ziach. For a second its eyes went red,then back to normal.

-''Worms.'',he lifted his hand and the only trace of using his power was the bird dead down on the ground,from it some odd worms started coming out,whispering in an old language, ''Di'law.Di'law.You broke the law between elders,Zi'lin. Di'law.Di'la---'',the so called ''calling'' of other species to come was cut off by Ziach. He stepped over the disgusting creature,to finish it off.

-''Annoying as ever.'',his eyes were cold,but sad at the same time. It hurt to hear the truth.

 

Now the sky was most darkest ever,Teix looked up.

-''What a pleasure to see you. Versah.'',the zi'lin jabbed hands in pockets and headed to the school's backyard. There,one of the meanest creatures among the zi'lins came. His power is to hypnotize humans and take over their bodies. If he would find a human's body,he'd use it. Ziach had to hurry up before it happened. Else,the school would be in danger,and mostly - Vox.

 

Meanwhile Rix went in his cabinet,to see Skayn on the bed. The boy was bleeding,but even the pegasus could tell that someone broke the barrier of Teix. So,right now he had to stop the bleeding and erase the di'law's scent.

-''Leave the room. I have to take care of my patient.'',he stated for Skayn's friends' ears. A small but quick smile was replaced by his serious look.

Versah was there on the roof,for now just checking the school.He understood that Teix knew about his presence and grinned.The zillin had just to find a nice body and to use it to hide his true self.

"Let's begin the game." he Versah grinned and disappeared,a seciond after that standing in front of the school's entrance.

 

 

 

Skayn was laying in the doctor's room,don't even knowing what is happening.It was strange - the feeling that something bad would happen soon didn't leave the di'law.He even had a strange dream. Everything was dark,big fire and two gray wings.

 

"Skayn..." a woman's voice whispered his name.

 

"Who are you?" Vox felt that he was afraid,but why?

 

"Don't you know me?" the woman's voice spoke again.

 

"Should I?" few seconds and Skayn felt that his chest are burning.Damn it was so hot,or no?Skayn looked at his hand it has all in blood.In front of him appeared a mirror.The di'law was all in blood.His eyes - they were so cold that even scared him.

 

Finally he woke up finding himself laying on a bed.What happened just now?Was it a nightmare again?

 

"Where am I?" he blinked,but then he saw the doctor and sighed in relief.

How fun. He was on the roof,a second later in front of the school's entrance. Teix stood firmly against the doors,his hands in pockets. The zi'lin was looking down,pretty dark aura was spreading from his body. The male didn't spend a minute on this mind game of Versah. He knew the other for the mind control and wicked personality,but never feared him.

 

-''What are you doing here?'', Teix lifted his glare up at the other,teeth gritting against each other in a tight jaw bite. It looked as if Teix was protecting something inside of the school,ready to go all out with his power,even if it meant to kill.

 

The corridors were empty by now,all students were at classes,but what worried him was if one single human would appear now. If such a thing happened,it was needed only a millisecond for Versah to take over the fragile body of a human.

 

While the scary atmosphere was growing scarier,Rix took care of the scent. Right now he was cleaning Vox' wound.

-''Ah. You are awake.'',a warm and gentle smile escaped the pegasus. How could he forget this sweet baby he protected together with Teix. He felt really comfortable around Skayn for some reason,so his guard was down for now, ''Are you okay?''

"Why are so rude,Teix? Aren't you happy to see me?" Versah grinned.It was always fun when he was meeting eith Teix,but this time something was strange.Usually the zillin was really calm when he was meeting with Versah,but this time..it seemed like he was trying to hide something or someone?

 

"Aa,I just came to see my friend,is it that strange?" what a lie.The truth was that Versah was sent to keep an eye on Teix,but he couldn't say it that freely.

 

'Eh?What's that smell?' Versah could smell some strange scent,but then the scent disappeared.How strange.

 

"Ne,Teix it was nice to talk with you,but I have to go now.See you some other time." and then Versah disappeared.

 

Meanwhile Skayn already was feeling better.

 

"Thank you sensei." Vox smiled.If it wasn't the doctor,maybe right now the di'law would be really scared because of the nightmare that he had.But somehow the doctor was making him feeling less scared.

 

"When can I go back in the classes?" Skayn asked.

Versah had to return to their land. Something was odd and the faithful dog of the King was straying from the rules. He should bring now the news to his master. In a hurry not to be stopped by Teix,he disappeared just like that.

 

Back in his master's room,Versah explained what he sensed and how Ziach behaved.

-''I see. Kill them all. Including the school's students,Teix and his pet. We have no time to search for the right human. The fact is that there is a di'law. And I think I know who is that di'law.'',with a slight grow,the King gave his command.

 

-''Stupid.'',Ziach facepalmed himself. He let his emotions out and it was a mistake. The zi'lin looked up towards the nurse cabinet. It seemed that Vox has woken up. A slight sigh of relief escaped the male.

He now though had to take care of something. With his mind connection,he spoke to Rix,"Keep an eye on Vox.''

With last flick of his zippo lighter, Teix disappeared with the sunset caressing his skin.

 

The pegasus froze for a second,but Skayn's question ''woke'' him up.

-''Ah. Of course,of course. You can go now,besides classes are to end in a few minutes.'',a bit nervously Rix smiled.

Skayn went back to the classroom to take his bag and to tell his friend that he is fine.When Diana saw her friend she jumped on him like she hasn't seen him from many years.

 

"Idiot,you scared me." she was on way to cry.

 

"Ahaha,hey hey calm down,Di. You are more beautiful when you don't cry." Skayn smiled,petting Diana.

 

"Man,I promise that I'll kill Cristian.And also how did you let him hit you?" Daniel started asking questions.

 

"It doesn't matter now.The important thing is that I'm fine now." Vox said.

 

"Then let's go out and play games?" Daniel offered,but Skayn refused.He wanted to go back as soon as possible.Somehow,he had that feeling that he wanted to see his father right now.

 

Finally,Skayn was near his house.Only one dark street was between his house and him.

 

"Ah man,I hate when the fuckin' street is that dark." he mumbled,stepping inside.

[Saga]

 

-''Knock,knock.'', suddenly a male voice echoed the dark street,but there was no trace of someone being there,''Who's there?''

The more freakish it sounded,it scarier it became. Who mental would speak out such stuff?

Abruptly a laughter followed the words and sounds of steps coming closer could be heard.

 

-''Lost your way,kid?'',a wicked smile,evil eyes,it was Versah with five more zi'lins,forming a circle around Vox.

It was from these situations when you feel you are just about to die,but not simply die - miserable death.

 

With every second passing,the zi'lins started to feel his fading,but still scent. The scent of a di'law.

-''Seems Ziach is a betrayer,eh?'',one of them said,but quickly hit by Versah.

-''We'll deal with Ziach later. Now...'', he glanced over Skayn and gripped the boy by the neck,his nasty face visible for Vox' eyes,''Why not cry,di'law?''

 

Small drops started falling,a storm was on its way to embrace the town.

At first Skayn thought that he is just too tired and because of it he was hearing different sounds.But not so long he found himself in the centre of a circle from some strange people.

 

Damn,so the feeling that he had earlier was actually not for nothing.Who were these guys? If the wanted money?Or they were some criminals?

 

"Hah,you won't scary me.Now tell me what do you want from me?" The biggest mistake that Vox did - to act cool in front of the zi'llins.

 

Skayn listened carefully to the others' conversation.What were they talking about? Were they really some criminals?

Seeing the face of the other male scared Skayn indeed,but he didn't think to show any fear.Vox tried to take the hand that was gripped by his neck,but the other male was way too strong.

 

"Di'law?" Why was the other calling him like that?What was di'law? Skayn smiled lightly - ready for his dead.

 

Meanwhile it seemed like it started raining.

[Saga]

 

Standing on a cliff near the local lake,Ziach and Rix gazed at the glittering lights. The night was calm,but seemed it was about to rain. Rix closed eyes and took a deep breath,

-''Teix...''

-''I know. You take care of the rest that are to kill some of my students.''

-''Your students?'',Rix chuckled. Since when Teix started talking like a human.

-''Have I ever called you ''pet'',bud?'',Ziach turned to Rix.

The answer was in his eyes,the pegasus smiled gently and nodded before his master,rather friend. When he was mistreated by demons,Ziach saved him and since then he never called him ''pet''. It was a bond that the coldness of Teix could create,a warm bond.

-''It's time.'',Rix jumped off the cliff and spread his pegasus wings although in his human form.

 

-''Yeah...time... something I could never understand..'',the zi'lin spoke sadly and disappeared from one's sight.

 

As predicted it started to rain. Ziach sensed Vox' heart. It was struggling. The zi'lin lifted hand to chest and grabbed his shirt. It was an odd feeling,but ... was it fear?

He could feel the di'law's emotions clearly due to their contract. As a host he would die as soon as the other would be killed. The zi'lin re-appeared on a high building,narrowing eyes forth.

-''There you are.'', he jumped off the building and landed as a feline. His steps calm,hands as usual in pockets as he walked down a dark street. The rain whipping his tall figure. He heard Vox' coughing. The boy was exhaling his last breathes of life.

But that didn't make Ziach rush,just the opposite - he stopped.

 

-''Knock,knock.'', he said,his voice deeper than any other scary whisper in one's nightmares, ''Who is ...there.''.

Versah let the boy fall down on the ground,his eyes widened. How he could know such a thing? He has heard that none knew Ziach' powers - simply because no lived after seeing them.

The wicked zi'lin glared at Ziach.

-''You,betrayer!'',he yelled,the rest of the powerful zi'lins growled.

-''Heh.'',a small smirk appeared on Teix' lips. He lifted his head,his eyes with red color. What was going on? He would let the King witness what was happening?

-''My King,My...brother...'',he spoke finally the truth behind his loyalty. The King was Ziach' brother.

-''You never learn,Teix.'',the King spoke in Ziach' head.

-''And you never understand,Siah.'',first time he would call the King's name before others.

-''You betrayed us.'',Versah spoke up.

-''Betrayal is something you know better than me,filthy snake.'',Teix' fangs appeared and his pupils went into slit ones.

 

A thunder echoed the town as Ziach was attacked all at once by the five zi'lins. All of them took the appearance of disgusting creatures due to their low rank. Only Ziach and his tribe could keep their beautiful form due to the pure blood.

A scary sight was to see hungry for pure blood zi'lins fighting. Teix has been protecting the whole town for weeks without a drop of blood,so pretty much,he couldn't use his power to maximum. The dark haired zi'lin was merciless,but as soon as the nasty Versah decided to play unfair,he lost it.

 

An arrow made of magic flew towards Vox. It wouldn't harm a human,but it could kill either a di'law ,or a zi'lin.

Teix' arm was badly injured because he moved too quickly from the grip he was captured in. He took the arrow through his stomach. Closing eyes before Skayn,he didn't let the King see Vox' face. To the last,Teix cared.

-''Run,boy. I command you...to run..'',holding his medallion with hand,he tore it off and put it over the di'law.

-''Find the school's doctor and show him this. He'll know what to do.'', he pushed Skayn out of the dark place,turning back to face the zi'lins his own way. Yes, his ugly way,murdering all as a heartless animal.

Just when Skayn thought that he is already dead,he fell on the ground.Someone came,but who?Was it it someone that came to save him?The di'law lifted his head and saw him - Teix.

 

"You came." a soft and pure smile appeared on Skayn's face.But then everything turned back.Now Teix was hurt because of Vox,but still he was trying to protect him.Hearing his teacher's comand he squeezed the madallion that he gave him and started to run.

 

Strange,no matter that was alive,his heart - it was crying and slowly dying.He knew - he was leaving an important person there,but he couldn't go back there.Teix was risking his life to save him.While running,Skayn even fell and hurt his hand.It started bleeding.

"Damn." the di'law hit the ground and few drops lift from the puddle that he fell in.In the end Vox got up and continued to run,didn't stopping to squeeze the medallion.

 

"Teix..." he whispered his teacher name.

[Saga]

 

The moment Vox left was the moment when all the monsters together with Versah turned into their real ugliest forms,attacking Teix at once. The zi'lin fell on the ground as the monsters held him down firmly by arms and legs,while Versah used the arrow,taking it out to stab continually Ziach. His chest,stomach,legs,arms,shoulders,ribs - everything got stabbed. The pure blood Teix had lured all the evilness out of the monsters. It drove them insane,only high leveled zi'lins could bear the temptation that pure blood could lure - Murdering!

 

-''Ngh-ah!'',Teix spitted out blood from the last stomach-stab. The claws of the monsters were sinking deeper into his flesh. If he could only drink blood from Skayn,to borrow the rest of his powers...but now,Teix was out of energy. The barrier around the city he held up until now broke like a glass-work. The zi'lin's eyes turned crimson red,instead of the old knew slit pupils,the monsters witnessed the pentagram in his eyes.

-''Move,filthy creatures. It's too early to taste my flesh.'',although held down,his arm moved,forcing a monster to fly to the side,crashing into the wall. The dark street was like a dark tunnel,not much space,but all better.

Teix moved his arm to grab Versah by the neck,worrying him for strangling. Ziach was in trance,a deadly dangerous trance. If he wasn't knocked down soon,he would kill not only the monsters. In a need of blood,hunger for flesh,he would attack anyone. A deep grow - Teix hand got wrapped by black chains,digging like rose thorns into his own flesh.

 

Versah was powerless and the rest of the monsters stepped back,scared to go near the highest ranked zi'lin. Just before life left Versah, a bright ray of light broke from the sky,contacting the Earth. It was the messenger of the royal family - Messiah. He was with two other middle ranked zi'lins. They could stand the temptation of the pure blood,so no problem,they knocked down Teix from behind. A ray of light sent by the messenger's hand hit Teix in the back,and the zi'lin fell down.

Skayn was still running trying to ignore all the noises.It was more than terrible to hear how these monsters were hurting his teacher - the one that came to save him.The di'law stopped for a minute looking at the medallion,yeah he couldn't leave his teacher no matter what.No matter if it was a command or no,to know that someone was killed because of him - Skayn wouldn't be able to let it just go as some bad memory.

 

Just when he turned back to save Teix,Vox saw a bright ray of light that broke from the sky.And then his teacher was on the ground.

 

"Teix!!!!" Skayn shouted running to his teacher.

 

"What did you do to him bastards?Who the hell are you/What do you want from him?If you want to kill me just do it,but don't hurt my teacher!" the di'law wasn't able to think straight right now.For him everyone there except his teacher now was enemy.

[Saga]

 

Messiah was a white zi'lin,known for being genderless. The supposed creature was referred to with 'he''. The white zi'lin walked closer to where Teix fell and was about to grab him by the shirt when someone shouted from behind. All monsters and the messangers turned around to eye Vox,standing there. He came closer and Messiah stepped back,curiously looking at the di'law.

-''You...'',his emotionless eyes narrowed,then Versah rushed to kill the boy together with Teix,but a hand out-stretch. A hand that had the power to say ''No'' and give commands. A word that weighted same as the King's word. Messiah stopped Versah,still looking at Skayn.

-''Tell me your name,boy.''

Skayn wasn't sure what was happening.He saw,Versah who tried to kill him and in the next moment he stopped.Wasn't that white guy who was standing there also from the bad people?The di'law wasn't sure if he should believe in this white zi'lin or no?

The other was asking for his name,eh? Vox fell on the ground next to Teix,reaching hand to touch his face.

 

"Vox...Skayn." the di'law looked at Messiah fr amoment then looked back at Teix.

[Saga]

 

The emotionless eyes didn't move from gazing down at the di'law. Everyone was waiting for Messiah's word.

-''Skayn Vox.'',he repeated and moved his mantle covering his body,to take out a small katana,throwing it Vox' way,''Kill Ziach or die.'',he made it clear.

 

The dark haired zi'lin was laying down,powerless next to Skayn. His breathing was heavy and sweat covered his perfect skin though now covered in blood. If it wasn't for all the exhausting barriers,he wouldn't be injured so badly. But chances. Teix laid there unconsciously,with his life on the line.

 

Messiah continued,

-''This man killed you long time ago when destroyed your life. He killed your old self to make you this way,miserable and powerless. He stole you from the hands of your mother and abandoned you in a rainy night before the church. He is the one to blame for you,not knowing your real identity. Can you really forgive such a sin?'',like a test,Messiah's words stabbed the boy. He was the poisonous tongue among all zi'lins,able to destroy one's personality for a second. He knew his words and he wanted to see how close to the edge the boy was.

Skayn catched the small katana,blinking.What the hell was happening?Wasn't he the one that should die?To kill Teix? How could he kill someone?He wasn't some murderer that could easy take someone's life away.No matter that at first Vox didn't really like the zi'lin he couldn't kill him.

 

"I..." just when he was ready to say that he won't kill Teix,the other male continued talking.What were these nonsenses that this male was talking about? It was truth that Skayn was living with his father only,but mother was dead,or so his father was saying.

 

"Wait,wait...you're telling me that Teix,is the bad guy?How should I believe i such a thing when YOU are the ones that tried to kill me?" all this what was happening now was starting to piss off the di'law.

Skayn placed his wounded hand on Teix's chest,smiling lightly.If only all this didn't happen.

[Saga]

 

 

The ground cried out through a shake,the sky lowered down,hovering over souls. The pressure became different and all sinful souls got to suffer. Versah and the monsters,together with Teix,as well the pegasus who was fighting in the other end of the city with the other monsters felt pain going through their hearts. The agonized cries filled the sky. Messiah had no soul,due to it he wasn't affected,but another soul wasn't affected as well - Skayn's.

-''Nhg-ah!'',the monsters rolled on the ground in pain.

 

Messiah stood there,not even blinking. Teix' blood drops lifted in the air to form a magic circle. Vox' hand couldn't be separated from his chest, the both sides got in contact,rather their blood. Something that Ziach believed to never happen.

 

-''Obscure.'',Messiah commented,it was the blood contract that was rare nowadays.

From the circle above them,glowing red light darted down to stab Skayn's body through chest. Both males' tattoos got to glow - the one on Vox' neck and the one on Ziach' back.

 

The pegasus looked up in the sky,whispering his master's name. He knew it well,the contract got to run valid now. The souls would be chained forever. And even if Teix wouldn't allow it,he had a lifetime partner now,and not anyone,but a di'law.

A big room,many people there.A baby?Ah,that was Skayn when was just a newborn baby.

"Dear,see it's our son.He is so pure,yet he has such a tough fate."

"Don't talk that cold,honey.We'll be with him no matter what,right?"

"Of course,I won't leave my son.I rather prefer to die instead of being separated from Skayn."

 

"Who are you?" she asked,ready to go and call Skayn's father.

 

"You don't need to know." Teix answered,trying to calm Skayn.

 

"Give me my son.I'll calm him down." Vox's mother understood that the demon isn't here to hurt her son,but just the opposite.From that what she knew about magic,she immidiately understood that Teix is trying just to Skayn.

 

Few seconds later,the little baby stopped crying and was smiling again.His mother kissed his forehead,knowing that it'll be the last time when she is seeing him.

 

"I'm giving you my son - Skayn Vox now.I don't know if it's wrong or no,but I think that with you,he will be better instead of here - where everyone is thinking for him only like for a killing machine.Please take care of him."

 

Skayn's memory was back.He remembered everything - from his first days in the Sky castle to his last night with his mother.

 

Something was burning the di'law's neck - it was the tattoo.Soon the burning stopped,but in the same time something was different.Skayn was feeling so powerful,but it was normal,because his powers where back.He wasn't human anymore - now he was a real di'law.

Vox looked at the sky,his gray wings spreading from his back.He slowly got up looking now straight at Versah and the other monsters.

[Saga]

 

All monsters started growing after Vox' transformation. The only thing they could see was a di'law,an enemy. Only Messiah could see beyond it. There was an invisible to low ranked zi'lins and di'laws chain between Ziach and Vox. It was the contract,yet there was a second chain,almost transparent. Messiah couldn't understand why a second chain,but he had to stop that now. The monsters wanted to fight,but they had no chance against Skayn. The only one having a chance was laying down unconscious - Teix.

 

-''Retreat.'',his command.

Versah looked confused,but Messiah glared his way and all monsters lowered heads. The genderless messenger turned around,ready to leave,but spoke out a few last words,

-''Take care of his wounds else he'll die soon.'',he took out from under his mantle a white ball,throwing it towards Skayn,to catch it,''Also,give him this. He has to read the message.''

 

The sky cleared after the monsters left for their land.

When all the monsters disappeared,retracted his wings,ready to care Teix on his back.The zi'lin surely was heavy for Skayn,but thanks god his house was near.

 

Just when the di'law was already standing in front of his house,he remembered something - he had to tell the school doctor about Teix's condition,but he had no idea where to find him.It was already midnight,so the only variant was to wait till the morning ot at least to hope that the school doctor knew where Skayn is living.

 

With the entering in the house Vox saw that his father is waiting him.

 

"Where have you been?" he surely was angry.

 

"I...why should I actually tell you?" Skayn couldn't tell his father that he was on way to die from the hand of some monsters and even less to tell him that his memories are back and now he knew that he is di'law,not human.

 

"You...do you know what time is it?I was worried Skayn.And who is that guy on your back?"

 

Ah,Vox totally forgot that Teix was with him.What should he say now?

"He...he is a friend of mine,who...got dumped by his girlfriend and was so drunk that could barely walk.So I took him with me.That's and why I came at home at that hour."

 

"Just make sure that you won't do that again.And..take good care for your friend."

When his father leaved,Skayn went on his room,placing Teix on his bed - he had no idea what to do,to stop all the bleeding wounds.

[Saga]

 

.::Ringing in ear,his conscious flew far away. A second of silence,nailing into the truth. He squeezed eyes,dreaming a reality long forgotten::.

 

-"Zi-nii chan!",a girl ran to jump and hug the very young Teix who was still a student in the prestige school of zilins.

-"Whoah!",he stumbled a bit,but didn't fall. A slight laughter followed, "Sara,you should stop jumping me out of nowhere."

-"But,but! I missed you!",the fragile girl started pouting,waiting for the ruffle over hair which Ziach usually gave.

 

A sudden change in dream,he was standing alone in that winter night,kneeling over a dead body.

-"You understand now,Ziach?",his current King and his brother back then spoke coldly,"To become my personal assassin and the ruler of my army,you have to be merciless. Thus,you did well. Do not regret,she was just an unlucky girl."

-"....",words couldn't express Teix' pain and agony,he stood there alone,with the words of his brother screaming in head,"Sara....",he just got the name torn of his mouth. It was painful to even pull out his hand from the girl's stomach. Where he wounded her,to kill her.

 

The lost zi'lin just grabbed with his free hand the girl's necklace to tear it off. It was the same medallion he gave to no one up until now,but to Vox.

 

-"Sara...",he called her name in his sleep,while laying there unconscious on Vox' bed.

 

A few seconds later,Rix landed on the windowsill,

-"Master!",his face was covered in blood and fear. He didn't even notice Vox there,he just rushed next to his master and did tear the clothes that were so dirty and already half torn. When he saw the wounds,Rix slid hand through hair.

-"He...won't...he won't make it.",the pegasus fell on the floor,all scared that his only friend would die. To heal,Teix needed to drink pure blood,or in other words due to the contract he needed to drink from Vox' blood. But Rix knew very well that Ziach would prefer to die before drinking someone's blood.

The room,right now looked so empty and dark,like there didn't have anyone.

"Why am I so useless? A dying person is laying on my bed and I have no idea what to do.." Skayn was deep in his thoughts.It was so painful to watch Teix,there on the bed,not opening his eyes,but just laying.

 

Just when the di'law was on way lose all his hopes,he saw Rix.It seemed that the other didn't even notice him,but thanks god he was at least here.Maybe he knew how to help the zi'lin.

 

"Excuse me....Mr.Rix...um...I want to ask few things...but I'm not sure...how to...actually ask it...Ah,really...I know I won't be able to help him,but still...can I somehow? We have a contract,right?" Vox started talking slowly.

Sitting on the floor,hands holding on his head,Rix was lost. Like a broken record,'What to do?', repeated over and over again. The pegasus was about to go insane. He was losing his master,no....his only friend. Tears slid down,agony.

 

"Excuse me....Mr.Rix...um...I want to ask few things...but I'm not sure...how to...actually ask it...Ah,really...I know I won't be able to help him,but still...can I somehow? We have a contract,right?"

 

Rix stayed on floor,he needed a few seconds to realize that someone was talking,and most importantly,what were they saying.

The immortal creature lifted gaze up towards Vox.

He couldn't do it. If Teix was conscious,he would reject the idea of taking the boy's blood. A sudden chuckle of despair escaped Rix. He got up on feet,slightly wobbling to the side. Exhausted from the fight,with his order given by Teix,to protect the humans. Why this zi'lin was so foolish? The pegasus couldn't get it,but may be that was the reason why he admired Ziach.

 

-"Ah...",he set hand on forehead and then fully stood tall,"You know,Vox... I am sure you are confused. We...",he paused.

The male turned to Vox with his face fully serious and half covered in blood,"We are not humans."

As soon as the words were spoken,the pegasus spread his wings,feathers flew in the room,such a gentle breeze ruffled Vox' hair. It was the positive energy that supposedly one pegasus would give. He continued,

-"I've lived for quite long to have seen many things and to be able to save a life with the blood running in my veins. But right now, I am useless.",he turned to Teix. His healing powers wouldn't be enough to heal Ziach. Ziach was on another level,greater power needed another greater power to be healed;

-"I am not the one to decide,but you. Ziach Teix lacks source of power,or in other words,due to your contract and the use of his powers during all these years which you weren't near him...consumed great trails of his powers. And because of the same contract,he is forbidden to drink blood from anyone but you. And he knew well that one simple injury could take his life away since he wouldn't have any sourcer.",the pegasus jabbed hands in pockets and his wings disappeared leaving a glowing sand floating in the air around him,"I will go to the leader of Pegasus,to ask for herbs. But I guess,it's pointless. I leave the decision to you,Skayn Vox."

 

As the glowing sand kept floating around Rix' body,he disappeared along with it.

"We are not humans."

That was right - they weren't humans.It was still difficult for Skayn to believe,but it was reality.The tough reality - in the center of which was Teix.His life was on way to be taken away.Was it even possible for Vox to save him,when even Rix couldn't?

 

Before to be able to say something,the pagasus disappeared.Only one feather was left.Skayn took it from the floor,sqeezing it as strongly as possible.

"I'll save him,I promise." he mumbled.It was decided,even if he had to broke the already broken chains with Teix,Vox would save him.

 

He ran as fast as possible to the kitchen to take knife.Thanks god his father was already asleep.

Soon the di'law was back in his room,cutting lightly his palm.

"I don't care if that idiot will want to drink my blood or no,I'll make him do it!" no matter how confident he sounded,the truth was that Skayn was afraid.But not afraid that Teix would stop him,but that he would lose him.

 

Somehow these few weeks with him,were the most important thing in his life.He was happy that he met the zi'llin.Even if he wouldn't be able to see him again,he would risk.Just to know that Teix was alive - that was enough.

 

Slowly,Skayn finally was standing in front of him.He had a plan,no matter how stupid it was - the di'law covered Teix's eyes with his not wounded hand and the other placed on his lips,sqeezing so the blood would fall into his mouth.

[Saga]

 

Although it was the small hours of the night - close to 4AM, as soon as Vox' blood fell onto Teix' lips,a sudden darkness embraced the town. A fog more colder than ice,whispering the language of the 'Death'. Little by little,the thick substance of that odd fog got inside Skayn's room.

 

Crawling-like,it reached where Teix was laying,blood pouring into his mouth. The zi'lin frowned,he slightly flinched.

-"...Nn..",as he tried to move head away,the fog crawled up to his bed.

 

Ziach opened eyes,darker than the darkness. His fangs shining in the dark, he caught Vox' by the wrist while he was still himself but not a monster,hungry for blood,

-"..What a-are you doing...",his frown deepened,"..R-run...",he was trying to warn the boy.
