These are actually old, old poems... but reading them reminds me again... They are a little on the morbid and depressing (-_- side ^^; so I cover them in case people are easily grossed out by blood/guts etc. They do go in order, but it's okay if you read them out of order? o-o; Also, }{blahblahblah }{ is the title for each section/poem ^^; Reveal hidden contents }{ It is familiar }{ Throw off the worn Cast away the dying Cut away the contaminated The slick poison The honey coated kiss Backwards motion like something greater than A single will can hold against The cascading of pressure overwhelms Would it fissure and crack Blood seep through such a jagged line? If I wet lips to this Could it paint my dreams? Could it color my release... Would it give me the searing flames I wish so hard for... If it only lit even the tiniest of a spark… Wish I could grow it into the steady light I want to hold close A soul, mine, burn like moth wings in a flame Could the tears I cry… Fall to ashes, slip between fingers... ...shouldn't I know... Reveal hidden contents }{ hesi†a†ion }{ Two hands hang Should one balance the other way Does trust to a savior, to a lover Is it the same? And if the tilt falls another-- Does it drip the path of hate and anger? Liquid that could rise on a string, Lash, it cuts through, the sting should be enjoyed, lathe with the tinge Of twisted beauty in its very, own, motion. The walking steps, give it a prance No one will notice Slip the misery to the joy. No one will remember Awkward, pull the strings Do they dig in-- so tastefully to break your ecstasy. Say the yes's to, lift it away, so breaths may come, So these eyes may close And so these tainted hands... may rest. Reveal hidden contents }{ enj*ymen† }{ The bitter taste like iron, Rise to the tongue, curl, The edge we call affection Could it be so unnatural Doll of strings, Made out of tears and glass... Graceless, head from a gutter The pieces of you are not Fit to lay on this altar Burn, may, wouldn't it burn Too soiled, soiled like. Like the set of nails, Scrape, hurt, the fog you wish Won't conceal the sounds Of your shame revealing itself The red that flushes you now Will color the blank so... beautifully. No wonder, follow blindly Couldn't be aware the Line trailing behind The pulse that asphyxiates Is in oblivion, mindless you. Grimly, show the entranced haze Let the nail circle, Addicted to the things that soon Enter, such There couldn't be any brighter-- the laugh of a dying you. Reveal hidden contents }{ remembers...side + }{ Bloodied nails will claw down the paper-thin wall How much of the facade is torn away? The click like a knife splitting through bone Should tell you more than you already know. Eyes closed, where we are... I can tell the breathing of you The you who's life I heard every night Waiting for you to fall asleep. The broken ring was a mistake, a lost accident: But it's too late to turn around and ask for it again. If I match this breath with you, would you wait For me again? I won't have to put up the petty, Pitiful mechanisms back into place. Let the life flow from me and let it carry me For the few minutes, I can rise from the memories. Before they're covered again, hidden and again. Learn to breathe through the inopportune ways you give me. Maybe, if I mourn the loss of you, maybe, I can walk on, nothing but a memory, of the hundreds left behind, of the some left behind, of the few left behind... Of the one, only remembered in traces.
