nicicia
Thanks for the support guys Of course it had to be characters from one of FF games I know nothing about. So first time I saw the characters was when I googled for reference pics. Thank goodness the characters I have to draw have some of the simplest clothing I've ever seen on FF. Jin.
What tablet you ordered? ;D I'm going to spare for an intious 4 that costs around 300 euro -_-, grrr.. I'm drawing on a wacom graphic 3 XDD, its like... really cheap shit now, LMAO, but it works (: Haha, I will... first tell me your dA acc... ;D
Yurusumaji
There isn't much on my dA except some old stuff that I did more for the lulz than anything and a really simple, 5-minute line art. So, be warned. My name is the same there, Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. . I ordered a Wacom Bamboo Create. I looked at the Intuos 4, but I think the Create will do what's necessary for now and it was $200 versus $300.
yojichan
YAY!!! I'm in the process of completing my Lupin III movies. YOSH!!! Jin.
Aw, haha. I see, I'll add you ;D mm, create, first time I heard about 'Create' normal its like: Pen and Touch, or Bamboo Fun, etc. ;D I've looked, seems nice. But I'm not sure if I choose intious first, maybe a random bamboo for 60 euro which is around 70 dollars, and work with that for a while, and then earning money :/ since its pretty... EXPENSIVE LMAO xD
Yurusumaji
That's pretty much my plan right now. I like the Intuos 4 Medium, but maybe I can find a way to earn it through drawing. Makes sense, I think. Ha ha.
nicicia
I tried a bamboo tablet...couldn't do it. I needed a even more professional tablet XD But then again, I am making digital art and comics my job.
Yurusumaji
I have no natural talent for art and therefore there's a possibility I won't pursue this as a major hobby, though I am working on it. I am having to build my skill from the ground-up, which has been extremely trying on my patience and my confidence. However, my father is an artist and I have his passion for art. He just forgot to pass on the talent as well. Ha ha. ^_^ So I have to prove to myself that a better tablet is worth it.
Jin.
Haha Nic, I can work with actually everything, xD with just random HB pencils and further, ;D @ Yuru I think art is in my family... My grandpa was an artist, my dad can draw good, and my aunt draws amazing. >_ LMAO, haha well hope you like it to work with one ;D
nicicia
That's the spirit Yuru. Have you tried watching 'How to draw' videos on youtube? I find it's easier to learn by watching artists in action and then practice how they did it. Eventually you find a method which works best for you. But it's a good idea to start by trying out other artists' methods and techniques. This guy has videos which are very easy to follow. If you have't checked them out yet, I advise you to take a look Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links.
Yurusumaji
The art stopped at my dad. At least, the talent to do it did. The passion is in me. You could take me to an art museum and lose me in a second flat. I adore art, all kinds of art. That's a big part of the reason why I've finally stopped refusing to try to get better at drawing. The urge is always there, right underneath the skin, making me itch. Nic, thank you for those, I will definitely check them out! I am kind of trying to hone everything little-by-little and find my own style, but yeah, it might be helpful to see what other people do. ^_^ I've done a little looking here and there online for helpful articles and things of the like. I know one of my favorite styles is whimsical paintings. I have a weird fetish for soft lines. Ha ha! Thanks so much, you guys. It feels really great to have friends rooting me on. Jin.
Mmm, LMAO... I... hate museums... don't talk about it please, I'm not really into weird art, like those spats or so, more in realism or manga. Yes my sweetest, we are talking about art. Wanna join?
Saga
I can't live without art. Any kind of art,but since it's drawing....I use ink. Only ink. ;D Mainly, when drawing manga.
Jin.
LMAO, I also use Ink, but also alot of pencils, my room is pencil palace and color pencils and pens XD, I just have 1 fountain pen with black ink... the most are fine liners, but everything will end up in a mess so I prefer pencils XDDD I even tried to draw with my eye liner ._. Yurusumaji
I have to erase a lot, so I have to draw with pencils. I don't mind "weird" art, but I'm not in to Picasso-esque works. I think it looks stupid.

Jin.
