SailorRishi
Hi YO Folk. How you read mangas, books, etc. ...? I usually buy manga books, but some are specific to buy, especiall Doujinshis. Then I'm forced to read online or to download it, and that i really dont like :/ Is a kind disturbing for me, and to constantly sit in front of the laptop is not really relaxed. Now I want to buy me as an eBook reader. What you think, someone using something like that? I want to buy one with which you can read especially mangas well. You may have experience with it and maybe you can suggest me some reader.... Thanks in advance Rishi

Saga
Hello Rishi, Depends on the file format, For PDF - Adobe Reader; - DigiSigner; - Evince; - Foxit Reader; - Sumatra PDF; - Nitro PDF. For PDB - eReader; For comic books - ComicBook Reader File; Others -Adobe Digital Edition (PDF. and EPuB) - Sony Reader. Depending on the format of the file, there are many formats. For example, most of the digital comics are png. format. There are plain text files, txt. That can be read by the most plain Windows program - NotePad. There is PDF format, and I suggested you good software's,most of the products that are good are Adobe's. So,better check your e-book format to know which software to choose,or look up. Saga
It depends, told you. (: Quality,I go for Adobe products, always. As for the battery ,it really depends on the current state of your battery, the battery life. I can't state anything, but if it's a good battery and it's not fucked up by some program,or from other technical issue,it doesn't take much of it. Good luck. BRIDGET
Oh well... like Saga, I go for Adobe too... about the battery..well.. mine is litium? mine's brand is Energy system, it's quite good and the technical service is great, just one thing, the main characteristic I looked for in an ebook was the electronic ink, it's just like reading in a paper and you can take it outside in the sun... I use pdf format to read both books and manga....
Arawn_Bheur
I personally use a Sony eReader. I use it to read books and haven't tried manga. However, you have to actually buy manga/whatever you want to read through the eReader Store. It may not have everything you want. It depends on whether or not the book is available digitally and is available that way legally. Most eReaders require that though you can probably rig a few to hold books that are available in .pdf or some similar file. I don't know how to do that, though.
SailorRishi
I think I should go to a specialist shop and I watch them all .... I never had to do with something with that kind products I'm confused what is suitable at best. I tend still to Kindle....or maybe a tablet is a better solution then(terms of the price and features if you buy non branded one).... I will see.....i found one interesting video on youtube but still confused..lolXD
j3dmed
I have about 30 titles using Stanza in my iPhone 4s. I have the same predicament as you since its a bit disturbing and annoying to use the laptop to read ebooks, especially the big volume ones. One book, The Historian, is 1,200+ pages and its an awesome book so I'm getting tired staring at my laptop and want to rest but still want to continue reading, so you know how it is... There is also the ebook reader that I downloaded, so both are ok for me. I never had the chance to use Amazon Kindle since when I got my iPad, I also used the same apps - Stanza and Ebook reader. SailorRishi
::Update:: : : : After a long think and research, I will tell you what I have decided. I bought a Tablet. If you aren't a Apple freak, there are many alternatives very good Tablets on the market. I buy the new Prestigio PMP5097CPRO and i am very happy with this. The special fact is, the new Prestigio has the EXACT SAME IPS Plus Display technology like the Apple IPad II Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Why I chose a tablet instead of an eReader? With a tablet I have several options. However, with a eReader I can deal with a very limited options. eReader, like Kindle etc. are overpriced if you compare with the options what they offered. So thats why i decided, for me the best option is this one. Since i using it, i feel very relaxing to read online mangas and had a good program for eBooks too
