DarkDjinn53 Posted May 10, 2012 Share Posted May 10, 2012 I wrote this today thinking about how lucky I am to have friends all over the world that have exposed me to things I would never have known if there was no internet. At first I was going to put it on the poetry page, but then I thought it would be fun to find out what inspires you. What makes your heart Feel too big For your chest Beat so hard Your breath catches Your throat aches The tears threaten to Spill from your eyes What opens the window Into your mind So it expands Until you feel It's too big For your head What have you Experienced That makes you ... aware Of your spirit Like at no other time No matter Past or present Share it With me With the world For it may be A wondrous thing for another Because they will ... radiate And others will want To draw near Feel the warmth Of that glow To come close enough To share Their inspiration ...and so it goes... So what inspires you now? It can also be in the past. Is it something that just gently helps you get through the day? Does it make you feel like doing something specific, like, Write a poem, a song, a story? Make something, BE something? We all have more than one, so don't push yourself to remember them all now. Come back and share when you do - or when you find a new one... The body language and expressions of some people there thoughts and there feelings what the want and why they want it. The strange,ridiculous stuff they come up with. It inspires me to draw there thoughts nd feelings and write why people do what they do. Bars are great for it, see the games people play. @ Arawn_Bheur - yeah - I miss my cat, he was what kept me going for almost 17 years. Your pets won't judge you and they won't hate you for anything you've done or for what you are.
