Kei rested his forehead on Gio's shoulder, panting heavily as he tried to catch his breath. He relaxed a little bit, tired and a little sore. He barely managed a slight nod, a showering sounding good to him.

Gio picked him up and went to his shower. It was then Gio heard a loud pounding on the door.

 

"Rossi is checking on you...."

Kei frowned slightly at hearing the knocking. He was tempted to ignore it, but he really didn't want his door being broken down by an angry cop.

 

"Go in without me," he said, grabbing a towel and wrapping it around him as he made sure he looked steady on his feet despite what had just happened. He left the bathroom, securing the towel before answering the door.

The smell of sex caught Rossi off guard and he watched him.

 

"What the hell?"

"Can I help you, Lieutenant?" Kei answered, hand on a hip as he stood there, ignoring the cop's comment. "It's rather late and I'm busy."

[ideduce]

".......It's earily kid." he pushed past him and looked around spotting Gio's clothes. "So he's here huh?"

 

The water turned on and Rossi looked at the bathroom then Kei.

 

"Hmph I see what's going on." he went to the bathroom and went to the curtain. Gio dropped down behind him, he managed to use the corners of the walls to stay up by the cieling. Rossi pulled the curtain drowning out the noise of Gio's landing. Gio just turned and grabbed his clothes and gifts and walked into the closet to change in there. Leaving only the envelop on the bed.

 

Rossi stomped out all angry.

 

"Where is- what the hell where did his clothes go?!" He got up in Kei's face and began yelling at him.

 

Meanwhile Gio walked out of the closet fixing his cufflinks using Rossi's loud yelling to cover up the sound of his light footsteps. Gio pulled out a gun and mock shot Rossi in the head, proving he could do this whenever he wanted and just went to the window and sat on the sill. Using his own hand as a puppet miming how angry Rossi was.

 

"ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME WHERE IS HE?!"

 

Gio stuck his tongue out, solute and dropped from the sill. Rossi turned a second to late then turned back to Kei.

 

"Well?!" Rossi never saw Gio once.

Kei rolled his eyes at the yelling, smiling inwardly at Gio's antics, watching him leave out of the corner of his eye. He shrugged at Rossi's question.

 

"You must have hallucinated it," he said with a smile at the lieutenant, not feeling to keen on being nice right now. The cop really had no right to inquire about any sort of relationship regardless of who it involved. "There's no one here except for me. I'd like it to remain that way so if you'll please leave..."

[ideduce]

"Well so long as you're alive." he crossed his arms."Did you get any photos of him?"

[Arawn_Bheur]

"Sure, but I lost the camera," Kei answered with a shrug, reopening the door to his apartment. "I promise to get you the pictures should I find the camera."

 

He smiled softly, still inwardly bristling at the intrusion and because he still hadn't gotten his camera back.

[ideduce]

"Hmph.....All right, keep in touch kid." Rossi walked out all angry.

 

The envelop still remained.

Kei shut the door and locked it, mildly amused. He turned around with a sigh, heart falling just a little bit as he walked back into his bedroom. He tilted his head in confusion as he picked up the envelope and he grabbed it before plopping down on the bed despite the messed up sheets. He slid a finger under the edge of the envelope and opened it, wondering what it was.

There was 5grand in the envelop. Along with a hand written cursive letter.

(I like Gio too he's an asshole without being an asshole and classy but that's not the only side to him)

"Pretty handwriting for a guy," Kei muttered as he finished reading the letter, but he smiled. He slid everything back into the envelope, making a mental note to get to the bank as he quickly sealed the envelope away in the safe under the bed. His thoughts went to figuring out how he could "impress" Gio again as he slid off of the bed to go take a shower.

 

Once he was showered, he dressed and left the apartment, fingers tapping lightly on his cell phone in his pocket. He wanted to tell someone about this, but he couldn't. He valued living too much. His feet took him past several known haunts of the upper class and of various crime-related people as he thought about how to win back his camera, which meant he'd have to do something to impress the crime prince...and he was at a loss of what to do. Oh well...something would come to him.

 

(It's a really cool character type. It's nice and complex. :3)

Later that day it seems there's a rumor going around that the apartment complex that Kei is staying in is haunted.

Kei arched an eyebrow as he heard the rumors, walking into the apartment complex. He shifted the plastic bags in his hands so he could grab the keys to the apartment. "Haunted my ass," he said with a roll of his eyes, unlocking the door. Stupid rumors...this place would either be deserted soon or it would be swarmed by people looking for paranormal activity. Either way, it was going to be a pain.

 

(Gotta hit the hay, lol. Been a looooong day.

Lights started flickering randomly water was acting strangly. it was a bit odd. People in the building weren't sure what was going on.

(I'm sorry for the late reply. xD I've been trying to figure out what to do.)

 

Kei grumbled to himself at the flickering lights as he set down the bags. He quickly went to the fuse box to see if there was a problem there before finally turning off the lights because the flickering was annoying and he had work to do. He grabbed a flashlight for when it got too dark to see inside before he left his apartment to talk to the landlord about what was going on. This phenomena had just started and he wondered a little if it had anything to do with Gio.

 

When the landlord couldn't tell him anything, he sighed before pinching the brim of his nose in frustration. Fine. He was going to look for Gio and see if he had a clue. However, finding where the prince lived was going to be tricky and he was going to have to travel through tough waters.

 

He quickly went back to his apartment and plopped down to go through all of the research he had already done and to start on new research.

His number could be found on the inside of the envelop. Though it wasn't needed as Gio knocked on Kei's door. The odd happenings caught his attention, as he was not sure if Kei was in danger or not. He leaned against the wall with his arms crossed waiting for Kei to open the door for him.

 

(It's okay been a little busy myself lately trying to get a job seems rather difficult so far, luckily in my case I don't need a job unless I want a game or something as food and rent are covered by other means)

Kei jumped slightly at the knock, frowning slightly because he wasn't expecting anyone. He put aside the papers and slipped off his reading glasses as he stood and walked over to the door. He hesitated a little before opening it and his eyes widened a little in surprise at seeing Gio.

 

"Wh...Come in," Kei said, opening the door for Gio, catching himself before he said anything rude.

Gio walked in dressed to the nines. He closed the door.

 

"Are you all right?" he crossed his arms looking him over. "I heard some of the rumors so I came here to check on you."

[Arawn_Bheur]

Kei laughed at the question, unable to help it. "No, the spooky ghost is so scary," he said, voice tinged with sarcasm, as he walked into the living room to straighten it up. "The rumors are probably b.s. My bet is faulty wiring or some such since nothing has happened like this until now."

[ideduce]

Gio smiled.

 

"I didn't think you'd be so worldly. I thought you might be crying over it and complaining." he was a little impressed

Kei sat down, looking up at Gio, smiling softly as Gio smiled. "Why do you think I'd be complaining over lights flickering?" he asked with a soft smile. "Now if there was an oogy boogy..."

[ideduce]

"You've already got those, they're up your nose." (XD)

 

He took the light out and replaced it and turned it back on. Still flickering. Turns it off.

 

"I'll check the power supply. Coming?"

Kei smiled softly, standing again and brushing himself off. "Sure," he said, eyes slipping lightly over Gio as the light came on, wondering briefly why the man was dressed so nice.
