Aiko gasped softly at the pull, but not from pain. He kissed Gin back, nipping and sucking on the man's lower lip. He shivered at the feeling of Gin's hand, moaning low into the kiss. His hand around Gin's member stroked and touched, hitting every sensitive area that he could reach. His friend hand tightened on Gin's shoulder as he shivered at the pleasure running through him, amazed at his body's reaction. Just the barest touch from Gin and he already felt close to coming...he had never thought anything would be like this.

The waves of pleasure he was receiving from Aiko's skilled hand was too much and Gin had to break the kiss unable to think straight anymore. He leaned his forehead against Aiko's and concentrated on Aiko's member. He stroked the erected staff back and forward with great speed, squeezing light at the base and occasionally placing pressure on the head. Aiko's touch was like extacy to him and he felt himself slowly reaching his limit.

Aiko squeezed his eyes shut, forehead against Gin's. His breath came in soft, panting gasps at the pleasure rolling through him. His fingers tightened on Gin's shoulders, nails digging lightly as he reached his limit and he gave a soft cry of pleasure as his body released. His fingers around Gin's member continued to move, coaxing Gin onward...wanting to make the man feel good.

Not long after Aiko came, Gin soon followed with a low moan as he released his passion on Aiko's hand, which quickly dissolved in the clear water. Panting and slightly out of breath he kept his forehead against Aiko's a few more seconds before capturing Aiko's lips in a gentle short kiss. As he pulled away, a small smile appeared on his face; as he stared down lovingly at the other male. Gin's smile was such a rare sight, that no one, not even his grandmother, have ever witnessed.

Aiko softly kissed Gin back and he smiled softly at Gin, glad to see him smile. He gently placed a hand on Gin's cheek and leaned up to give Gin a short, soft kiss before he pulled back. He could spend forever here with Gin, just being close to him, just being alone with him, but there was a life to live outside of this field...

"It's getting late..." he said softly, trailing his thumb across Gin's cheek before lowing his hand. "I have to get home before my family sends out a party...Want....want to meet up again?"

Gin had run away from his house and village to this unclaimed place, in order to find quite and peace, instead he found something much better. He was so fascinated by Aiko that he wanted to stay like this forever; stay with him and know everything about him. But reality was different and he knew that sooner or later he too had to return to his duties. He grabbed Aiko's hand in his, caressing it with his thumb. "I don't want to let you go...but I understand." He paused before adding. "Of course, you are not possibly thinking of letting this end just like this, do you?" He asked with a chuckle. "Let's meet here...same time?" He further asked and began to move out of the lake, pulling Aiko's hand with him.

Aiko smiled, following Gio out of the water. "Sounds like a plan," he said with a playful wink as he started to dress. He braided back his wet hair to keep it out of his way, and to keep anyone from asking why he was wet. He smiled softly and he leaned close to Gio to kiss him softly, one more time before having to leave.

He hesitated a little bit before mounting his horse and he smiled at Gin. "I can't wait to see you again," he said before whirling his horse around and heading off into the forest towards the east, not quite able to prolong the good-bye. He'd see Gin again, he had to.

As he rode towards his home his thoughts were about Gin and what had just happened. It was hard to head home after a day like that, but his duties were calling him...Sometimes he really hated his role in the East Clan....but it was an important one.

Gin watched Aiko's retrieving form as he fastened his hakama tightly in place, he kept on staring until he could no longer see him and with Aiko disappearing from his sight so did his smile. The stern expression returned as if that smile had never been there in the first place. It was funny how one person could have so much affect on others. He picked up his haori and after fixing his clothes he walked towards his horse petting him before mounting him. He left his hair lose in order to let the wind to dry it for him. The whole ride back home he couldn't stop his thoughts from revolving on Aiko. They just parted a few minutes ago but he wanted to see him so badly already. How weird that he felt like this towards a man he still knew nothing about...

---

Mirai was talking to Yoshiki, the old man who was in charge of taking care of the family stable and livestock when she saw Gin riding his horse in their direction. Immediately a light shade of red covered her cheeks at the sight of her future husband riding the magnificent horse in such a glorious way. "Hijikata-sama." She greeted him with a bow and Gin only nodded at her in return. He gracefully dismounted the horse and gave the reigns to Yoshiki who dutifully took the horse back into the stable. "How was your day Hijikata-sama?" Mirai started asking as she followed Gin towards the house. Gin hadn't answered her question when she noticed Gin's hair was slightly wet, apparently the wind didn't do its job properly. "Did you go out for a swim?" She asked only to receive a cold glare from the silent man. She gasped and bowed. "I'm sorry, please forgive my boldness Hijikata-sama. I'll go check whether dinner is ready." She said nervously and hurriedly rushed towards the kitchen area.

"Now, now, why did you had to be so mean with that poor girl." Gin looked at Souji who was looking at him with a funny expression on his face. The man was sitting on the veranda drinking sake and apparently had seen the whole scene. "Isn't a little bit too early for you to be drinking sake, Souji?" Gin asked folding his arms above his chest and walked towards his friend and sat next to him. "It's never too early or too late to drink, my dear Gin-chan." Souji said and offered his friend a drink, which Gin politely accepted.

"So, I didn't know you liked to take baths in the wild." Souji said with a loud laugh making Gin groan. "I was practicing near the river, it got hot and I decided to go for a swim, what so bad about it." Souji raised his hands for peace and then his smiling face turned serious. "Yet, you shouldn't treat her like that, she is your fiancée after all, shouldn't you start treating her with more kindness?" Gin eyed his friend carefully for a moment before taking a sip of his drink. "I see my grandmother already talked to you." The young man laughed and poured more alcohol into his empty cup. "What can I say, she's old but quite fierce, there was no way I could say no to her." Gin nodded but say nothing. He never planned on marrying Mirai and now that Aiko had enter his life there was no way he would continue with this fake engagement he had with Mirai. Aiko...

Souji eyed his friend noticing his stern expression softening slightly, what was Gin thinking about that made his face like that?

"Man I am so freaking hungry I could eat a horse!" Hideo said thrown his big and muscular arms over the back of his head as he made his way towards the kitchen. "When are you NOT hungry." Hiro joked as he walked besides his brother. "What did you say?!" Hideo jumped ready to punch his brother, who was still laughing at him, but the sound of soft sobs stopped him. He looked around towards the direction were the sound was coming from and his heart sinked at the sight of Mirai crouched and crying secretly. "Hey, what happened? Why are you crying?" Hiro immediately moved to her side and puled her towards him in a bear-like hug. Hiro rolled his eyes very much aware of his brother one-side love.

"I-I think I made Hijikata-sama angry at me." She said between sobs and Hideo tightened his hold on her wanting so badly to take her away from his ungrateful cousin. "What? That's impossible! He could never be mad at a cute and sweet girl like you." He said trying to cheer her up, if he were Gin, he would never make her cry. "Come on you two, aren't we going to get something to eat or what?" Hiro said feeling sick just by watching the touching scene. Mirai nodded and wiped her tears from her cheeks. "Hiro-san is right, thank you Hideo-san." She smiled at Hideo and the three of them walked into the kitchen.

---A few days later---

"Come on, Souji! That's all you can do?" Gin said sweat running down his neck and chest. Still panting and slightly tired, he never lost his stance nor his firm hold on the bamboo sword in hand. Souji shook his head completely out of breath and threw his body backwards on the wooden floor. "No, I give up. You are far too fanatic about this, this is just sparing and you are doing it as if this were a real fight." The tired Souji complained.

Gin frowned and placed his sword away. "If we don't do it for real then we'll never improve." He said sternly and souji only waved his hand as if dismissing his comment. Just then, his grandmother walked into the room, Mirai quietly following behind her. "What are you two doing here, were are practicing." He said looking away and Souji shifted into a sitting position.

"Gin, come with us. We need to decide on a perfect date for your marriage." The old lady said making Gin really furious. "Grandmother, who is the head of this family?" He asked with a tone as cold as winter. The old lady blinked not seeing the logic in the question. "You are." She answered. "Then stop making decision as if you own the place!" He practically yelled at the old woman and stormed of the room, leaving everybody shocked by his outburst. He need to leave and fast, to another place far from here...he needed to see Aiko now! He rushed to the stable mounted his horse and rushed towards their secret place as fast as he could.

Hiro, who was standing by the door watched Gin leave and wondered, curious, at where exactly his cousin was heading.

In no time he reached the unclaimed green area surrounded by tall trees and a lake. He sighed as he sat down on the green soft grass. Will Aiko show up? He wanted to see him so badly that he thought that if the other man didn't show up; he'll risk it all, go to the East Clan just to search for him. "Aiko..." He whispered and looked up into the blue sky.

Once he reached home, Aiko was bombarded by his family and by the other members of the household. It was like they couldn't do anything when he was gone. He felt a little frizzled as he was handed several papers to read. It seemed as if this had all happened as soon as he had stepped off the horse.

Ryuu walked with Aiko the whole time, smiling peacefully. "Smile, Aiko, it makes the world better," he said, clasping his old friend on the shoulder.

"They're just so pushy," Aiko answered with a roll of his eyes, but he smiled. "After a nice afternoon I come home to people who can't leave me alone for one minute."

Ryuu laughed softly before fixing Aiko with a stare. "So, who is it?" he asked, a touch of a wicked grin on his face.

"It's no one," Aiko answered with a shrug though he felt inwardly confused and happy. "I just got to relax and go for a swim."

The next few days were filled with anything but fun. His duties kept him busy, and his mom kept trying to get him to talk to Kumiko. She seemed to have grown more insistent that he find someone and produce an heir. His protests kept falling on deaf ears and it was making him irritated. The older she grew, the worse she got. To put with her and the others he found himself daydreaming about his next meeting with Gin. It always seemed to give him a content look because it either made his mom look pleased, probably thinking she was getting through to him, or it caused the people to start talking hurriedly.

The expression also made Ryuu smirk. He seemed to know what Aiko was thinking, but he never broached the subject because he found it amusing and because he was grateful Aiko had finally someone.

______

Aiko had to feign being ill in order to meet Gin. It was the only think to get his mom to leave him be, and the only thing to keep her from insisting that he attend the dinner at Kimiko's. Like Kimiko cared if he missed it or not. She was always wrapped up in her work or she was wrapped up in proving herself.

Aiko shook himself from the thoughts as he rode his horse towards the lake. Only then did he pull back the hood of his cloak, having used it to keep his face hidden so he wouldn't be stopped. His heart raced with excitement at seeing Gin again. He stopped his horse and dismounted in the same area before loosely tying the reigns to a branch. He stepped out of the shadows of the tree and he smiled as he saw Gin.

"Hey," he called as he hurriedly headed over, waving as he smiled.

The sound of someone calling for him pulled Gin abruptly from his train of thoughts and his heart skipped a beat at the sight of Aiko coming towards him. Was he really there or was it a figment of his imagination? He stood up and walked over towards the younger man to meet him. Still a little bit hesitant, he wrapped his arms around Aiko, affirming that it really was him standing there. "You came." He whispered only for Aiko's ears to hear and hungrily pressed his lips against Aiko for a kiss. "I thought you wouldn't show up." He said staring into Aiko's bright gray eyes lovingly.

Aiko softly kissed Gin back, pressing close as he wrapped his arms gently around the older man's neck. "Of course I came," he said with a soft smile at Gin before kissing him ever so gently. Happiness soared through him at being so close to Gin and he nuzzled the man softly before resting his head on Gin's shoulder, enjoying the embrace he had longed for since the second he had left. "I wouldn't have missed this for anything."

Gin said nothing, he just stood there tightly embracing the man he was slowly falling in love with, softly brushing the other's long silky hair with his fingers. "I'm glad to hear that." I'm glad to hear that I am not the only one who feels this way. He then reluctantly broke the embrace and pulled Aiko along side with him to sit down on the soft green grass. It was a sunny day and he was grateful for the tree that sheltered them from the direct sunlight. He pulled the other man close in an embrace as he rested his back against the tree and asked, "You had to sneak out to come here?" He said noticing Aiko's long cloak. There were so many other things he wanted to ask him, to know more about him. But Gin was not the kind of man of many words and thus he didn't know how to do it.

Aiko rested his head on Gin's shoulder as he snuggled close to him. He smiled softly at the question. "My mom had plans for me," he said with a shrug and another smile. He reached up and unsnapped the cloak so it fell off. Once it was off he snuggled closer to the larger man, smiling softly. "So, what have your last few days been like?"

He quickly glanced at Aiko from the corner of his eye before staring back at whatever was in front of him. Just thinking about his grandmother and the engagement caused a sour expression to appear on Gin's handsome face. He knew he had to make his grandmother understand that he had no intentions on marrying Mirai but he knew she would never listen to reason. How could she? When she was so obsessed about a heir? If only he was not an only child he wouldn't have to go through so much pain. "Exasperating." Was his short answer and pulled Aiko towards his chest as close as possible and sighed. Being with him was so relaxing; he wished he could take him as his bride instead. But he knew that such a thing was never going to happen...ever. "What about you?"

Aiko gently squeezed Gin at the sour look and he softly kissed Gin on the cheek. "You'll get through it," he said with a bright smile, nuzzling Gin. "And busy...always busy, though. Gotta sneak out to have a little bit of relaxation."

He smiled even as he said the words. He was glad to have Gin to talk to because he could be himself and not the cold persona he had to be to instill confidence in the people of his clan. It was also nice to have someone who cared about his day.

A small smile appeared on Gin's face, it seems like Aiko was the only one with the ability to make him smile. It made him wish Aiko had come into his life sooner. "It seems you have a very important job, what exactly is what you do?" He asked finally finding the words necessary to inquire Aiko about his personal life. He knew Aiko was not a bad person, he could see it in his soul; yet, if they were lovers it was only logical that he wanted to know everything about him. Wait, lovers? Were they really lovers? Gin hadn't really thought about it until now...

Aiko lightly chewed his lip as he thought of how to answer that. He didn't want to lie, but he also didn't want Gin to be run off. He sat up to better look at Gin deciding truth should be said. If it ran off Gin, it would hurt, but he didn't like lies or half-truths.

"I help maintain the running of my clan," he said after a minute of thinking, watching Gin carefully. "I'm their leader, for lack of a better phrase. Young, but my father passed early so I had to step up."

He lightly bit his lower lip from nerves, unable to believe he had said that much.

To say that Gin was surprised was an understatement. He was not only surprised but shocked and angry at himself for letting himself be swept away by the enemy. He moved away from Aiko and stood up in a hurry, he needed to clear his mind urgently. Did Gin seduce him on purpose? No, it couldn't be; otherwise he would have seen the malice in his soul. Thus it was no one's fault? They just happened to fall for each other? It was so hard to believe but it was true.

After what seemed an eternity of silence, he finally turned around to face Aiko. "I really did not expect that." He paused and added. "Now I understand the reason why you must sneak out to come here and why you own such a horse." He concluded. "Do you want to know my full name, Aiko? It's Hijikata Gin, the same Hijikata leader of the West Clan and your enemy." Life sometimes worked in funny ways, he had fallen for his enemy. "Yet, I've fallen for you. Are willing to risk it and continue whatever we are having after knowing this?" He asked letting Aiko make the final decision he knew his troubled mind was in no shape for such a important task.

If Aiko decided to stop this madness now, he'll be fine with it. Return to his family and set a date for his marriage with Mirai.

Aiko frowned slightly as he stood up with Gin, listening to him talk. He hadn't really been expecting this, but he also wasn't willing to let it get in the way of a relationship. They were enemies over something that no one rightly remembered, and that had never set well with him. And now he had found himself completely entranced by Gin, absolutely in love.

"I'd risk everything for you," he said with a soft smile as Gin finished talking. Despite the news that they were of rival clans, he was quite happy to continue the relationship with Gin. He didn't want to give it up for anything. He leaned close to Gin and stole a kiss. "I'm here and I'm not leaving you."

Gin placed a hand on the back of Aiko's head before pulling him in for a hungry kiss. "I warn you, I will never let you go no." He said sounding more like a threat than a warning and claimed Aiko's lips once again. The happiness he was feeling inside of him was so overwhelming that he feared that he would lose his mind at any moment. Placing a hand on Aiko's lower back he pushed him gently to lie down on the soft grass and showered him with kisses on his lips, neck, shoulders and exposed chest.

Aiko shivered at the kisses and he pulled Gin up into a hungry, biting kiss. His fingers ran down Gin's shoulders and back, stroking softly and pulling the man closer to him. Fires seemed to spark wherever Gin touched him, wherever the man's lips touched. His fingers tightened on Gin's back as he deepened the kiss, sucking and nipping Gin's lower lip.

Happiness slipped through him, matching the feelings that came with the touches. He had no intention of letting Gin go.

Gin let his heated tongue explore every corner of Aiko's mouth, tasting the delicious flavor of his mouth before pulling away. He quickly began to undress Aiko, annoyed at the fabric that was standing in his way. He then reclaimed Aiko's lips after removing the last piece of clothing; letting his fingertips travel aimlessly over Aiko's soft skin, setting his groins on fire. He wasn't going to simply touch and play, today he was going to fully take Aiko and become one.

Aiko inhaled softly at the touches and he tangled his tongue around Gin's, sucking softly. His fingers ran over Gin's body, starting to undress the man. There was an urgency to his touches, an urgency to his want and need. Once he had Gin undressed, his fingers danced across teh smooth skin and he shifted a little to softly bite and kiss down the man's neck and across his shoulder, enjoying the smell and the taste of the man.

A soft moan escaped Gin's throat as Aiko's gently bite his neck, it felt so good that he almost became dizzy. Gin pushed Aiko down onto his back so he could straddle him properly; in away proving his dominance over the other. Gin wanted to have Aiko completely for himself, on he could have him. He leaned down and started kissing him all over, his hand firmly on the other's chest, keeping him in place. He slowly moved down and didn't hessitate a second to take him into his mouth and starting to bob his head eagerly.

Gin took Aiko as far in his mouth as he could manage, sucking and licking at him like he was the tastiest lollipop he had ever tasted, small moans coming from his throat to prove it.

Aiko's back arched a little from the pleasure and he slipped his fingers through Gin's hair, tightening them slightly. He moaned low, shivering at the feeling of Gin's mouth on him. He squeezed his eyes shut, gasping Gin's name as he squirmed a little at the touches. "Nnn...G-Gin," he moaned, partially begging for more.
