Gin didn't mind the tight hold Aiko had on his hair, in fact it was very erotic to see him react this way and twist under his touch. He sucked some more before moving his mouth to the base of Aiko's erected member and took his soft testicles in his wet mouth sucking them dry. He knew he had to prepare Aiko if he wanted to enter him and so he moved his hungry and heated tongue lower, brushed it over Aiko's entrance before thrusting it in and out, while letting his saliva moisturize his inside for him.

Aiko gasped softly at the feeling of Gin's tongue and his fingers flexed in Gin's hair. He shivered again, not having expected it to feel remotely like this. Ecstasy ran through him even just at these touches and he felt faintly light-headed from it... He wanted to touch more of Gin, wanted to make the man feel everything he was. He wanted to share himself completely.

Aiko wasn't the only one feeling hot and good, Gin too was experiencing sensations he never felt before; and he could no longer control his desire to feel Aiko completely. He retrieved his face form Aiko's delicious entrance and positioned himself right in front of Aiko's wet anus. "Are you ready?" Gin asked after kissing Aiko's lips nudging the small hole with the tip of throbbing member, he couldn't hold it in anymore, he needed to enter Aiko now; nevertheless, he wanted to ask Aiko if he was okay with it first.

Aiko softly kissed Gin, slipping his hands down the man's back. His cheeks were a little red from the question. He nodded slightly in answer and he pulled Gin into a deep kiss, heart thudding fast from expectation, fear, and excitement. He lightly bit Gin's lower lip, nails raking down Gin's back softly.

That's all Gin needed to know. He loving spread Aiko's legs wide and slowly pushed in, it was so tight, that he felt a mixture of pain and pleasure at the same time. He pushed in slowly as far as he could and waited for Aiko to get accustomed to his size and the pain before moving his hips back and forth.

Aiko's fingers tightened almost painfully on Gin's back at the feeling and his breath came in short gasps. He had to make himself relax because he had stiffened involuntarily. As the discomfort passed, feelings of pleasure were able to be known. He softly kissed Gin's shoulder before nipping softly, his body moving to match Gin's, increasing the sensations.

Gin didn't mind Aiko's biting him or scratching his back, it probably was nothing compare to the slight pain and discomfort he was feeling from being penetrated for the first time. He knew it was Aiko's first time. He captured Aiko's lips in a deep kiss filled with love, he wanted to transmit his feelings to Aiko through that kiss. "Ah Aiko..." He whispered Aiko's name as he began to increase his pace, thrusting faster and harder in Aiko's wonderful inside.

Aiko deepened the kiss with Gin before breaking it off so he could breathe better. His fingers tightened on Gin's back as his legs softly squeezed the man's sides, pleasure rolling through him. Soft moans and cry escaped from him as Gin's movements picked up and his own body moved to match. The feelings of love and of pleasure combined to make something unable to be spoken...something that made this all the better.

He pulled Gin back into a kiss, putting everything he was feeling into it. His body seemed ready to burst from everything that was flooding him and he didn't think he could last much longer...He didn't think he could anything back anymore as everything ran through his system, bringing himself to the edge.

Soon after Aiko reached his highest peak, Gin too felt like coming; he tried his best to pull out, not wanting to come inside Aiko, but the friction was too much for him to stop on time and he helplessly released his sweet nectar deep inside Aiko filling him with his love. He dropped his tired body on top Aiko's panting softly. "I love you." He whispered as he pulled out and picked the other man in his arms carrying him into the lake...

---

The sun was gone and darkness embraced the world as Gin finally returned home, his thoughts revolving only on Aiko and the vivid memory of their bodies merging together in one. "Gin, finally you decided to come home." Gin looked at his friend as he entered his room and dismissed him seeing the seriousness in his face; he assumed he wanted to talk about his early outburst. Well, he had no desire for that. "I don't want to talk about it Souji, I'm too tired." Souji crossed his arms and stood in front of Gin blocking his way. "The leader of the Northern clan died." He said making Gin stiffen. "What?" Souji now had Gin's full attention.

Souji nodded. "Hideo informed me shortly after you left, it seems he died last night when he fell from his horse." They were now sitting inside Gin's room, both men carrying a grim expression on their faces. "Gin, you know what this mean right? The northern clan has no heir...which means there is no one to take over the role as ultimate ruler." Souji said not liking the idea of going into war in the least. - goodbye to peaceful days- "What do you plan to do?" Gin said nothing as he let this new information sink in. This was their chance to gain dominion and total control. Honestly, Gin wasn't going to let this one and only chance to slip through his fingers. "We'll go to the north and claim dominion of the country." He said standing up straight. "Inform Hideo and Hiro, tell them to get ready for war. We must move before the East Clan does." He added and walked towards the veranda. He inhaled deeply and closed his eyes as the wind caressed his face; his long dark hair flowing behind his back.

Aiko...what will you do?

Aiko tapped his fingers on the table in frustration as he listened to Atsuo give him a briefing on the death of the leader of the Northern Clan. His thoughts were racing after each other in what seemed to be an endless loop. This was great news because it would allow his clan to gain much needed land, but it also meant going up against Gin and his army because they'd inevitably want the land. He didn't want to go up against the man he loved, but his clan needed the land. He'd propose some sort of truce and a negotiation over the lands, but he doubted the people of the clans would go for it.

"I need you to inform Mr. Daiki that he is to prepare our forces within the next hour. I want them ready to ride no later than two hours from now," he said, looking at Atsuo who nodded. His pale grey eyes then slipped to Kimiko who looked too eager for her own good. "You, Kimiko, have half that time to get the scouts ready and then they must deployed the second they're ready."

Two hours was a short time to get things ready, but he needed to have a head start on Gin -- he needed to head off the troops that would be sent to the North by the West. His insides squirmed uneasily even as his outward appearance was calm and collected.

"I am going to go to the West Clan with three guards," Aiko said after a moment, raising a hand to still the sounds of outrage that came from his council. "I want to offer a proposal to them, to try and settle this with as little bloodshed as possible."

"But they're wicked! We can't trust them!" one man, Kou, said, bristling at the suggestion. His feelings were shared by everyone in the room.

"However, they probably want to lose as few people as possible," Aiko answered as he stood. "This is not open for discussion. Do as you have been told."

With that, he left to change in as stately a uniform as he could without going overboard. Once out to the stables with his guards, he mounted up.

"Ryuu, ready the Kotodama. They will ride with the preliminary troops," he said, catching his friend's eye.

Ryuu nodded softly, reaching up to squeeze Aiko's arm. "Be careful, Aiko. I'll be here when you get back," he said with a soft smile.

Aiko smiled back before turning his horse around and heading off towards the West Clan with his guards. It was a dangerously low number of guards, but any more and it would come off as if he was threatening the West and he had no intention of that. He was prepared for his proposal to fail, and he didn't expect it to pass. Either way, it didn't matter. He would have tried and that was what mattered.

The time passed quickly and he soon found himself approaching the gates of the main city of the West. He sat up a little straighter in his saddle despite being tired from the ride, surveying the city as his horse moved through the dark.

“The plan sounds simple but do not get carried away.” Gin, Souji, Hiro and Hideo sat in the quite room as they planned their battle attack to take over the north territory. The Ashigaru was already outside and ready to march; only waiting for Gin’s next orders. “Hideo, you will lead the ashigaru towards the city, with your strength I expect you to obliterate any resistance from the northern troops.” Hideo nodded already very eager to leave for battle. “Souji will accompany you, he’ll lead you towards their forces.” Souji nodded knowing his special ability was essential to pinpoint the enemy's whereabouts; though he did not dare say it, a part of him wanted to stay at Gin’s side instead.

Hiro who was quite during the whole discussion finally spoke up. “And what will you do?” He spatted with venom in his tongue. Gin frowned not liking Hiro’s tone in the least. He probably though that Gin was planning on staying back while his men gave their life for their clan. “You and me, are going to make a direct attack on the northern palace.” That made Hiro's face go pale, wasn't that dangerous? But it was Souji the one first to protest. “Are you nuts? That’s suicidal, why not leave the ashigaru attack the palace instead? Their skills combined and Hiro’s strength will destroy the royal troops guarding the northern fortress in no time.” Hiro nodded agreeing with Souji, it was more simple that way.

Gin said nothing for a moment waiting for his friends to calm down. “I know, but if I send the ashigaru to the palace, innocent lives will be lost. Not only the the North clan would surely lose their life but also the anyone standing in the ashigaru's way. Furthermore, do you think we’ll be the only ones trying to gain control of the north? I can't let our men attack only one spot in case the East is already on the move.” Souji saw the logic in Gin’s words but it still sounded too dangerous to him, his best friend could lose his life in the process. “Then why don’t you lead the men? Let me and Hiro take over the palace.” Gin shook his head and his face told Souji that his decision was final.

Someone knocked twice on the shoji door before sliding it open. “Hijikata-sama, excuse me for interrupting but the leader of the East clan requested to speak with you and he is not alone.” A servant said bowing down.

The men inside the room gasped surprised at the sudden news and Hijikata felt his heart skip a beat. Aiko was here? “What the hell are they doing here? I will attack them now and get this over with!” Hideo yelled standing up ready to grab his heavy hammer.

“You will do no such thing!” Gin’s stern voice made Hideo freeze instantly. “Do as I said, you and Souji will take the ashigaru and march to the north, it seems the East is already on the move. We have no time to lose.” Gin said standing up and told Hiro to go with him. Souji shook his head worried for his friend’s safety but followed his orders nonetheless.

“Hijikata-sama, please be careful.” Mirai said as she watched Gin securing his sword tightly by his hip. “There’s nothing to worry about, they know it would be stupid to attack me here.” Gin said to put Mirai at ease, though it wasn’t much help. And with Hiro by his side he went outside the house gates where Aiko and his man were waiting for him. He looked cool and calm on the outside, but inside his heart was racing incredibly fast. He was going to see Aiko...actually, he longed to see his face...but these weren’t the circumstances in which he wanted to meet with him.

They soon reached the outside area of the West family house (which was more like a fortress). His eyes immediately fell on Aiko and feared his heart would jump out of his chest any second. Aiko looked so perfect wearing his formal uniform, and memories of their bodies pressed together came rushing into his mind. But he had to push those thoughts away and put on a facade.

“It’s very brave of you to come all the way here. What is that you wish to speak with me.” He said resting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Hiro folded his arms and watched Gin, feeling that something was not quite right...but what was it?

Aiko had waited patiently as the servant went off to tell Gin, and probably the people he was in council with, that he was there and hoping for a meeting. His insides felt as if they were trying to tear themselves out from nervousness and excitement. He shouldn't excited, but he was going to see Gin again albeit under less ideal circumstances. His hands were lightly clasped, but he wanted to hold onto the sword he had willingly given up when requested. However, he still had a weapon concealed elsewhere. He wasn't stupid enough to give up everything and he knew that the West knew that.

He broke out of his thoughts when the doors opened and Gin came out, accompanied by a man that looked less than thrilled to be there. Something about the man set his guard up and he had to struggle not to show it.

"I would like to offer a proposal," Aiko said in answer to Gin's question, eyes locked onto Gin's. His tone was one of quiet confidence and that he knew what he was doing along with just being a touch cool because Hiro had him on edge. He hated that he was having to act like the leader he was supposed to be, hated that he couldn't just go away with Gin...He pushed the thoughts away. "As everyone here knows, the leader of the Northern Clan has passed. I would like to offer a proposal in exchange for no bloodshed."

Shiro furrowed his eyebrows at what Aiko said; he didn't like the idea of making business with the East Clan. Specially now that they had their only chance to gain more power. The mere thought of all the riches they'll gain from the battle made him thrill with excitement. "We don't make business with the likes of you." He spatted only to receive a furious glare from Gin, and if looks could kill, Shiro would be dead by now.

"Shiro, do not speak unless I tell you to." He ordered and turned to face Aiko. He wasn't sure what exactly Aiko had in mind, but he wasn't looking forward to a meaningless battle and let history repeat itself. If they could manage to reach a reasonable agreement...

"And what is it that you propose to prevent this unavoidable war?" He asked trying his best to conceal his hopes for a truce. Yet, a part of him was sure that a truce between the two clans was very unlikely to happen.

Aiko's eyes slipped to Shiro at the outburst, a coolness around his eyes, but then he looked at Gin and his expression was a little softer. He had little time to deal with outbursts like the one that just happened.

"An even split of the Northern lands," Aiko answered Gin, having to keep a soft smile on his face. It was habit to not be so cool around Gin. "With each of our clans receiving a portion. However, I want the Northern Clan to keep their capital and the lands for 100 miles outside of it. They may have no heir, but they don't need to be forcefully taken over. Proposing a truce of sorts with them would ensure that little life is lost among the three clans."

Shiro gritted his teeth as he glared at Aiko; he knew how Gin was and there was no way he would reject such a proposal. Gin always hated the idea of gaining power by force and as a matter of facts, he was right. Gin said nothing as he stared down at nothing in particular, deep in thoughts. It was the best suggestion out there and it would be stupid not to accept it. But Gin had no intentions of dividing the north territory, he had other plans. Plans that could only become a reality if he gaining total control of the northern territory. He looked up at Aiko with a sadness in his eyes knowing that Aiko might not like what he'll do next.

"I'm sorry but I have to reject your proposal." Shiro almost jumped up and down in excitement at Gin's unexpected resolution.

He turned around ready to go back when he stopped and looked at Aiko from his shoulder. "This war is inevitable." He told him, a hint of sadness in his tone and ordered the servant to close the gates dismissing Aiko. Shiro wasn't a fool and he took very good notice of Gin's sudden change in behavior; it made him quite skeptical. Why was he acting so nice and caring towards an enemy?

Aiko's eyes flashed briefly in surprise, but it was quickly hidden. He nodded slightly. "So be it," he said, managing to keep his tone calm and collected. He watched the gates shut before he turned to go get his horse, pain welling up inside him and he had to keep it down. He was a leader, he couldn't show weakness, but he couldn't help but be hurt by the rejection of the proposal.

He dismissed one of his guards to ride ahead of him to get the news to his people as he mounted his horse. He was going to find a place to stay the night because he didn't want to ride for hours when he was tired emotionally and physically. When they were a distance outside of the main city, he found a small field surrounded by trees. It was relatively secluded and would make it harder for anyone to find him. He took off the outer layer of his uniform as he sat down by a tree and rested against it, eyes shutting as he sighed softly. He couldn't wait to be home to where he could let lose the emotions that were rolling through him.

Shiro stared at Gin's troubled expression, his suspicions growing by every passing second. "Souji and Hideo already left, shouldn't be moving as well?" He asked taking his fighting spear from the wall where it was hanging. Gin looked up and nodded, he was feeling unwell. He didn't like the way he and Aiko parted, he wanted to fix things before going into battle field. "Wait for me here, I have to do something before we leave." Gin ordered and left in a hurry; giving Shiro no time to reply. "What the?" Shiro growled, he wasn't going to stay behind. He was going to follow Gin and see where the hell he was going at a time like this.

---

Gin was aware that the possibilities of finding Aiko in the area were very slim, still he didn't lose hope. He didn't want to lose hope. From the corner of his eye he saw a horse tied to a tree in a desolated area; far from the city. It didn't take him long to recognize Aiko's horse and a smile appeared on his face; glad to see Aiko was still around. He dismounted his own horse walked towards the man resting by the tree. "Aiko." He called out the name the man he loved; "I'm glad you are still here." He said as he approached the other.

Aiko's eyes snapped open at the sound of his name and he looked over, smiling as he saw Gin. He reached up to take Gin's hand, pulling Gin down next to him before he hugged the man tightly, nuzzling into Gin's neck. He was glad Gin had come. He hadn't expected it, but it was great to have him there. He shut his eyes back, emotions reaching the breaking point.

"I'm glad you came," he whispered softly against Gin's neck, tears slipping down his face to fall against Gin's neck and shoulder. Nothing about him said he was angry with Gin...he understood the decision...He was hurt, but not angry. "I'm sorry this is happening," he added quietly, still not letting Gin go.

Gin allowed himself to b pulled down with no resistance and wrapped his arms around Aiko's slightly smaller form. Here's where he wanted to be, with Aiko in his arms and nowhere else. He felt Aiko's tears wet his chest; making him hate himself because he knew he was the reason of those tears. If he had accepted Aiko's proposal, things would have been different but he couldn't...what he had in mind was far greater. He placed his hands on both side of Aiko's face and softly kissed his tears away, ending on Aiko's lips. "You shouldn't apologize...this was meant to happen."

---

Shiro watched in disgust the lovers scene from behind a big tree, yet he couldn't believe what he was seeing. Gin was having an intimate relationship with a guy? A guy who happens to be their enemy? Disgusting! How dare he deceive his clan and his people like that. He was feeling hurt and betrayed; thus he made an oath to take revenge and restore the pride of the West clan.

Aiko softly kissed Gin back before snuggling further into the man's embrace. "I suppose," he said softly not knowing what else to say. He laid against Gin, eyes shutting as he did so. He didn't have anything further to say so he just let himself enjoy being held by Gin and enjoy holding the man in return. Everything was going to be all right. It had to be. He wouldn't let things fall apart. His thoughts grew slower as he relaxed, trying to fight sleep. He was finally able to relax now, now that he was with the man he loved.

Everything would be fine...

Shaking with rage and hateful feelings, Shiro made his way towards the East clan war camp; he knew it was dangerous to freely walk into the enemies territory but he had a plan that was not going to fail. The images of his cousin intimately embracing another man as man does to a woman were still vivid in his mind and no matter how much he tried to push them away, there was no success. It was outrageous! No wonder Gin was so much against his engagement with Mirai. Whether it was because Gin was in a illicit relationship with another man or because he was friends with the enemy, Shiro concluded that Gin was no longer fit as their leader and that it was up to him to make something about it.

With those thoughts in mind, he walked into the enemy's camp and requested to speak with the one in charge. The man said to be in charge accepted his request and they moved into an empty tent in order to speak in private. “My name is Shiro Hijikata and I am the new leader of the West.” Shiro said using his power to deceive the man and make him fully believe his lies. “If you agree to what I’m going to tell you, not only will you be greatly reward but you will be seen as a hero to your people.” Using his deceiving ability he made the other man believe that his leader was being changed by Gin and that Gin was already demoted from his status but was still unwilling to step down.

“I don’t want us to fight, in fact I don’t want to do anything with the north territory, you can keep it...but I can’t fight Gin alone.” He further lied.

“Then what should we do? Should I order my men to go after this Gin?” The man asked fully believing Shiro’s story. Shiro shook his head knowing that if the others found out about his plan to kill Gin they would turn against him for sure. “No, Gin is a tyrant that has many followers in our clan...the only way we can get rid of him is by luring him out alone...and for that I need you to kidnap Aiko. Do not worry; no harm will come to him.” The other man was a little confused; unable to understand the reason why Aiko was so important to lure Gin out. Nevertheless, being fully under Shiro's spell he agreed to it.

“This has to happen tonight otherwise the plan will fail.” It was now that Souji and Hideo were gone or never. After instructing the man about the place where he should bring Aiko, he left and waited for his plan to take action.

He waited for the other man to bring Aiko in a desolated house which was located in outer parts of the West city.

---

“I must go now.” Gin said squeezing Aiko’s hand. “I promise you that after all this is over...things will be different. Believe me.” He said with a final kiss before mounting his horse and left towards his house; where he expected Shiro to be waiting for him.

Aiko watched Gin go, heart falling as the hoof beats fell to silence. He ran a hand through his hair, sighing softly before standing. He still felt tired, but he didn't want to sit here anymore. And he needed to go to the war camp to make sure they were ready to go.

He mounted his horse after pulling on the rest of his uniform and took off, letting the wind from the speed of his horse wash over him and wash away the confused feelings. He focused on the steady beat of the horse and the soft breaths coming from the animal, letting himself sink into a relaxed state.

As he went into the war camp, he surveyed everything, frowning just slightly as he glanced around. He dismounted and let his horse be taken off as he went to the leader, a man by the name of Reno. He would have wanted a different leader, but this man was good at what he did. He was just too much of a mercenary for Aiko's liking. He entered the man's tent, not bothering to announce himself and he sat down.

Reno watched Aiko carefully before signalling for someone to go get drinks, and to notify the party that would bring Aiko to the designated spot by Shiro. He then started on a long-winded rant of what was going on, taking as much time as he could until a small group slipped silently into the tent, taking Aiko off guard.

Aiko was a leader and a fighter, however. He was able to fend off the people for a short time, letting it be known that he'd have Reno's head for being a traitor. He only stopped fighting when a hand slipped over his mouth, holding a wet cloth. Whatever was on it stung his nose and throat before causing him to slip into darkness.

"What do you mean he is not here?" Gin asked angrily at the poor servant who had nothing to do with Shiro's disappearing. A sigh of frustration escaped Gin's lips as he folded his arms and sat on the veranda. "I'll wait for him, only twenty minutes. If he is not here by that time I'll leave without him." He said to the servant who bowed before leaving in quite a hurry.

---

"Alright, you did a good job. Now take this letter to Gin, he is probably waiting for me at the West clan mansion." Reno nodded following Shiro's orders and left.

Shiro walked back into the small wooden house and began to harshly slap Aiko's face in order to wake him up. "Come you, wake up!". He needed him to be awake. Of course, there was no reason to worry about Aiko escaping or putting on a fight since he had his hands and legs tightly tied together.

Aiko shook his head a little bit at the slap and he blinked away the sleep, frowning slightly as he realized he couldn't move. His eyes slid over the building before finally landing on Shiro. Despite the slight fear that welled up, anger was also present. This had never happened to him and he had never thought it would happen.

"So...this is your plan?" Aiko said coldly to Shiro. "Seems rather silly to me."

The twenty minutes were off and Gin had to leave for the north palace with or without Shiro. He was just about to command the man at the gates to open them for him to leave when Reno appeared, his horse breathing heavy and tired. Gin frowned, confused at the man's presence. But his confusion soon turned into fear as he read the letter Reno had brought to him.

I have captured your sweet-heart. If you want to see him alive; come to the empty wooden house outside the city before midnight.

He crumbled the piece of paper with his hand in anger and pushed his horse forward; running as fast as the powerful beast could. He mentally apologized to Souji and Hideo but Aiko was more important to him than conquering a piece of land.

---

"Ooh." Shiro smiled at Aiko yet it wasn't a friendly smile. "I wonder what was it that Gin saw in you." He said as he kneeled down right in front of Aiko and grabbed his chin to hold his face in place. "How does it feel to have a man fill you in?" He smirked before brushing his boot against Aiko's behind. "Or will anything do the trick as long as it penetrates you?"
