Haru smiled softly and he made Valor a glass of water. He reached up to Valor's shoulder and softly squeezed. "It has nothing to do with sharing a bed," he said softly after a minute. "At least not fully....it was nice," he added, glancing down at the floor. It was easier to look down than to admit this when looking directly at Valor.

Valor took the glass and put it down next to them on the counter. He felt Haru squeeze his shoulder and it sent a shiver through his body. He controlled his urge to throw Haru against the wall make him tell him what was wrong. That was the animal side of him, ever so agressive. He did his best to supress that agression the best way he could. Valor turned a bit into Haru and lifted his head up gently.

"Then whats wrong?"

He asked as he stared Haru in the eye. The worry was there and the embressement as well. He could see the fear bubbling inside of him.

"Tell me Haru...what troubles you..."

Haru shook his head, shrugging a little. He hated feeling like this, and he hated that he made Valor worried...He felt silly, too. It wasn't like they had even done anything. They had just talked and then slept in the same bed....He sighed softly and he moved a little closer to Valor and rested his head on Valor's shoulder.

"Just worried..." he mumbled softly after a minute before turning a little bit and hooking his arms around Valor's waist and resting his forehead on Valor's shoulder, inhaling the man's warm scent. He squeezed Valor gently before he let go after a minute of holding him.

"Tell me..."

Valor asked quietly as he felt Haru wrap his arms around him and hug him. Valor's heart beast increased a little as Haru rested his head on his shoulder. This was for real, they weren't drunk. This was them fully awake and functional, coherent with the world around them. He pulled Haru back into his embrace and held him there tightly as he rested his head on his shoulder.

"...tell me everything...Haru..."

Haru nuzzled lightly into Valor's neck, thinking of how to phrase everything. "Valor..." he started softly, managing to keep his voice from shaking. Good. He wanted to be understood. "...nothing happened last, but everything happened...I don't know exactly how you feel, but I don't care. I j-just..." -- he made a soft sound of frustration, fingers tightening on Valor's back. He squeezed his eyes shut, keeping back any tears that had formed.

"I don't want you to go tomorrow..." he whispered softly, fingers tightening again. "...I...I..." He buried his face into Valor's shoulder, holding onto Valor for dear life. He didn't know why he couldn't admit anything...why he couldn't just let all of the emotions out.

"You don't want me to go...I understand..."

Valor held him tightly against him as he let Haru cry into him. He could feel the emotions pouring out of him, over flowing like a bowl of water in the rain. So many little things he wanted to say. Valor rested his head on Haru's gently, stroking the braid slowly.

"You love...me...don't you..."

He replied as he knew Haru wasn't going to be able to say the words himself. It was hard for Valor to say them as well, his own feelings. He was so use to keeping them bottled up, deep inside of him. He was so use to being alone, sure he would go and see Haru every once in a while. God why now, why before the hunt, why before the full moon.

"I love you too...but I have to go..."

Haru nodded slightly, wiping away his tears. "I know," he murmured softly against Valor's neck. He wiped his eyes again, straightening up as he inhaled softly, trying to calm down. He sighed softly, eyes slipping over Valor's face. He slipped a hand up to Valor's face and he slipped his thumb lightly across the scar. "I know and that's why it's so frustrating..."

Valor grimiced slightly when Haru touched the scar. It had healed the scar, yet it still burned and hurt. It throbbed in pain terribly, and it showed in his face. He stopped Haru from pulling his hand away from his face. He wanted it to stay there, his answer hurt Haru and he wanted to feel the pain as well.

"If I could stay I would...but I can't no matter what I try to do...I have to go...it's safer for everyone if I do."

Haru pulled his hand away from Valor's face at seeing the pain despite Valor still trying to keep it there, not liking that he had hurt him. "Why is it safer?" he asked softly, brow furrowed in confusion.

"Well I am a senior hunter..."

He turned around to look away from Haru. He couldn't tell him what he really was or he too would be hunted savagely like the beast he hunted. He never hurt anyone, he could control the other half of him. Not that he could control when he transformed, but he was still coherent when he did.

"I can kill some of the worst...I know the forest better then anyone..."

Haru frowned slightly, not fully content with that answer. He felt like Valor was hiding something, but he wasn't going to force him to say something he didn't want to. He lightly slipped a hand up Valor's back and to his shoulder, squeezing softly. He let the conversation fall into silence, not certain what else to say, if he should say anything.

"I need to get back and finish up the weapons," he said softly after a minute, starting to leave the kitchen.

"Yes...I have to prepare as well..."

Valor replied walking past Haru, he had a torn expression on his face. God he wanted to tell Haru everything, every dark secret he had. It was killing him not to tell him what he was or what he could do. He couldn't bare to look at Haru, it hurt him too much.

"Thank you for letting me spend the night...it was wonderful..."

Haru smiled softly, glancing at Valor. "It was my pleasure," he said, genuine in his words. He noticed the look on Valor's face and he gathered his courage before leaning in to softly kiss Valor on the cheek. "Smile and don't worry. I don't need to know anything you don't want to share."

"Thank Haru..."

Valor stopped in the door way. He hadn't turned around yet. He was building up the courage to say one last thing. It killed him to leave in such confusion, such bitter tension.

"...I will tell you...just...give me time...to..."

Haru smiled warmly. "Take all of the time you need," he said, voice gentle as he watched Valor move towards the door to leave. "I'm not going anywhere."

It was nearly night again when Valor arrived at the doorway to the back room. Haru had just finished sharpening the blades for the hunt. He watched as Haru brought the sharpening stone slowly across the egde of the sword he was sharpening. The way he sharppened blades was an art form. They were always so sharp, sharp enough that it could cut through anything with such ease.

"Hey..."

Valor said quietly getting Haru's attention. He had been thinking for sometime about being in the kitchen with him. Their teary embrace this morning, the memory lingered in the back of Valor's mind like a terrible dream. It had happened and it killed him to see Haru that way, so sad looking. He had thought all day while preparing for the hunt, what he was going to do. He was going to tell Haru what he was and he was going to show him the reason why he lived out in the forest alone. Not only that, why he was so good at tracking prey down and killing them so mercilessly.

Haru looked up at Valor's voice and he smiled softly, glad to see him again. "Hey," he said as he set aside the sharpening stone and turning so he was facing Valor fully. "What's up?"

"Are you done working?"

He was trying to figure out just what to say to him. He couldn't just say "Hey come with me to my house which is located deep in the forest." Someohow in his head, that wouldn't be the best thing to do. It made him sound creepy and a little like a crazy man.

"Want to go out for a walk with me?"

"Sure, that sounds great," Haru answered with a soft smile, standing and putting everything up before letting Valor lead the way. He was glad Valor was talking to him...he had been worried after this morning.

"How was work today...?"

Valor asked as they walked down the hallway. Valor glanced over to see the smile on Haru's face. Though the image of him crying was still burned into his mind. He turned his face away a bit from Haru as they continued on. He didn't ever want to see him cry again, it was the first time he had seen him cry. It was something he didn't want to experience again.

"It was work," Haru said with a shrug and soft smile. "How was your day?" he added as he undid his hair so it caught the wind a little as they left the building.

"It was okay...just preparing for tommorrow you know..."

He shrugged as he watched the strands of hair wip in the wind. It was rather windy today, the wind assulting the trees and grass around them. They headed towards the eastren forest path, there were no monsters in the east section of the forest. Though it was still rather eerie looking and people often tended to avoid venturing out into the forest if they didn't have to.

Haru glanced around them as they headed into the forest, hand just lightly resting at the hilt of the knife in his belt. It was on instinct to keep his hand by it whenever venturing out too far into the forest. He glanced at Valor, looking for any sign as to why thy were coming out this way.

"Relax. The only thing we'll encounter here is deer. Even then...they won't venture too far."

Valor stayed silent for the rest of the trip, he could see how nervous and a little terrofied Haru was getting as they were getting closer to his home. It was dark here and animals rarely ventured in his part of the forest. After all they feared getting eaten, even as he walked with Haru, scattered animal bones laid about upon the floor. They continued until they stopped a small abandoned looking house, which from where they stood looked quite like a haunted house. The house was slolwy falling apart, the paint on the house was peeling away and most of the windows had the curtains drawn. Not to mention the amount of animal bones strewn across the area.

Haru frowned, careful not to step on any of the bones as he looked at the house, confused as to why they were here before..."You don't live here, do you?" he asked, looking at Valor thought he already knew the answer. Why else would he be brought out this far? "What's going on?"
