"Yes...this is where I live..."

Valor sighed as he headed up to the house. He didn't wait to see if Haru fallowed him or not he just walked into the house befor it could get any darker.

"Just...come in alright. The house isn't haunted, if it did I would be the thing haunting it."

He offered a friendly smile to Haru as he stood in the doorway before entering the house. Even if Haru wanted to, it was getting dark now and even if wanted to go home. It was far too dark and the night creatures would come out.Now those things were dangerous. At least if Haru stayed with him he would be alright. Hence why there was bones scattered about.

Haru hesitated briefly before following Valor inside and shutting the door quickly against the darkening forest. He glanced around the house, taking everything in. His eyes then slid to Valor, waiting patiently for an explanation.

Valor was by the fire place, he lit a fire to warm up the house and give it some light. He was still very quiet, he could tell that Haru wanted an explination. He was going to give it to him, with out question. He just had to clean something ups. He gather some of bleached white deer skulls he had on the floor and threw them out the window before grabbing a chair in the corner and sliding it over to Haru.

"You might want to sit down for this..."

He walked past Haru and locked the door behind him them both, before turning around to look at him.

Haru smiled softly at the offered chair and he sat down in hit, pulling his hair over his shoulder so he wouldn't lean against it when he was in the chair. "Thanks," he said with a smile before growing quiet so Valor could talk, if the man wanted to.

"Do you remeber when I got this scar?"

Valor asked as he took a seat on another chair he had pulled from another corner. He looked up at Haru before he continued, while doing so he carefully removed his shirt.

"The scar on my face wasn't the only thing the beast gave me..."

He showed him the large scar on his left side. The bloody beast tried to take his kidney from him, but he had managed to fend of the werewolf long enough to know that he killed it. Along with becoming a werewolf himself.

Haru's eyes widened slightly as he saw the large scar and he softly bit his lower lip, a frown on his face. "It bit you," he said softly, heart racing at the possible implications...His eyes slipped over the scar and he inhaled softly, not fully knowing how to process this. "Are you...one of them?" His voice was soft as he spoke and he met Valor's eyes.

"Yes..."

He hung his head slightly and rubbed the back of his head with one of his hands. He could see the confusion and the fear welling up inside of Haru. This was some pretty dark stuff he was telling him, it was along the line of "I'm a terrible killing machine."

"I'm not dangerous...I don't attack humans...mostly deer and other monsters..."

Haru lightly chewed his tongue as he listened, inhaling softly to keep everything calm so he could think this through. Every instinct from training told him that this was dangerous, that weres couldn't be trusted, but he knew Valor...loved the man even. He took a deep breath and he stood, walking over to Valor and kneeling in front of the man. He gently slipped his fingers under Valor's chin and had the man look at him.

"I won't deny that everything says to run," he said softly, watching Valor as he talked. "But...but I'm not going to." -- he slipped a hand softly to Valor's chest, just over the man's heart -- "Because it's this that matters. And you're a good man."

Valor pulled Haru into a hug. He rested his head against Haru's chest. Those words he said, they meant so much to him. He could feel Haru lightly petting his head, slowly. Each pet meant so much to Valor.

"Thats why...I have to go tommorrow. I'll turn and in attempt to keep eveyone safe from me...I'll hunt the beasts as a beast at night."

Haru softly trailed his fingers through Valor's hair before softly kissing him on top of the head. "All right," he whispered softly, nuzzling into Valor's hair. "Just come back and so help you if you have so much as a scratch on you."

"I know.."

He smiled as he looked up at him. He let Haru go as he went to grab his shirt which he had discarded so easily to show Haru what marked him. Haru was so understanding, he gave a sigh of relief. At least he could talk to someone about it now, it felt as though a heavy weight was lifted off of his chest.

"What would you like to eat? I have some left over deer stew I made?"

Haru smiled softly, sitting down near the fire. "I'm not hungry, but thank you," he said with a smile, watching Valor move, noticing the slight changes in attitude. He was glad Valor had told him, and he was glad that it seemed to help Valor. He shifted to get more comfortable, stretching a little bit before brushing his hair out his way so he could lounge beside the fire, enjoying the warmth. His own place didn't have a fireplace and he missed open fires.

"Don't burn yourself..."

Valor replied as he slipped his shirt back on. He went back to Haru's side and took a seat next to him before he too laid sort of close to the fire. It was nice to finally tell someone and not be sent to be killed by an angry mob. He didn;t want to focus on that, no he wanted to know more about Haru.

"Tell me more about yourself Haru..."

Haru smiled softly, shifting a bit so he was facing Valor. On a whim, he rested his head lightly on the other man's chest, a hand resting on Valor's stomach but not on the scar. "What would you like to know?" he asked.

"I don't know..."

Valor paused for a moment to think of something to ask. He smiled when Haru placed his head on his chest and an hand on his stomach. He listened to his heart beat and his breath. the steady rythme of both.

"Is there any secrets that you have you want to tell me?"

He asked out of curiousty.

Haru frowned slightly as he thought, not entirely certain if he had anything terrible to share...or even a secret. He sat up, but he kept a hand on Valor's belly, fingers absently moving.

"I ran away from home," he said after a minute. "I was 12 and I couldn't take my family anymore. They annoyed the hell out of me and wanted me to do something hoity-toity. I had no interest in it, and I had no interest in marrying the logical choice of bride. So I left. I managed to keep out of any sort of ill trade by learning to hunt and selling what I caught. A year later I was doing decent. I camped under the stars and I hunted my own food. How I was ever found, I don't know. There was a fire caused by fae...my family, including my siblings, were killed. I can't say I was sad...they had made my life hell until I left....except for my little brother..." -- his voice grew a little softer and he sighed softly -- "He's the reason I joined the guild. I don't have to be here. I don't need the money, I have plenty from inheritance. But I'm here to find the people who did that to my family."

Haru paused for a bit, thinking. His tone was one of acceptance, without a trace of sadness. He glance down at Valor and he smiled softly. "When I first saw you, it had to be this guild. No other guild would do. I heard many stories about you, but finally seeing you...." -- he blushed a bit -- "I'll admit I was slow on the uptake...Afterall, we're too guys. But..." -- he shrugged, unable to convey how he had felt at the time.

"I know...I wasn't sure either."

Valor replied as he looked into Haru's eye. It must have been hard to know that your family was murdered, death by fire was slow and painful. It hurt even more to know they were so cruel to Haru, Haru a person who's kindness was so pure. Valor looked down into Haru's eyes as he pet his head slowly and gently. Valor held pity in his eyes as they stared into his dearest friends. This man whom he had only really started to truly love, he who truly accepted what he was.

"After the hunt...I'll leave the guild to help you track down your killer. I'll do it, even if I can never return."

Valor spoke with such conviction in his voice. He sat up slightly and looked into his eyes, he store. This was maddness, to leave the guild was almost against the law. Itmeant giving up everything and being cast out. Out of the guild only bloody work remained, assassinations and mercinary work was the only work an ex-guild memeber could get once cast out. Valor would do it, he would if Haru asked him too.

(Valor's a man after my heart. :p )

Haru smiled softly, but he shook his head. "No, you don't have to do that," he said with another smile, grateful for Valor's words. It meant a lot to him to know that Valor felt this way, but he didn't want the man to give this up. He shifted a little bit, sitting up fully and he softly ran a hand through Valor's hair, looking back into Valor's eyes.

"But...thank you..." he said softly after a minute. "It means a lot to me that you offered."

(Yay I'm glad you like him :3)

"I would do it...if you asked me to. I would leave this, everything if you asked me too."

Valor leaned his head into Haru's hand, the gentle feeling of his hair being stroke. The delicate fingers moving through his hair slowly. He didn't say anything else for some time, he only looked into his eyes. Valor was serious, he had that look. The same look he had when he went hunting, his eyes were piercing. Sharp, collected and willing to die.

"We can, I'm ready to do something else. Something meaning full either then killing monsters. Haru..."

( :3 He's really neat.)

Haru smiled warmly at the words and he leaned in to softly kiss Valor on the forehead before resting his own forehead against Valor's. "Aren't you worried of what may happen should you..we..quit?" he asked softly, pulling back so he could look into Valor's eyes easier.

(I like Haru he's so sweet)

"Well be cast out. Banned from joining any other monster guilds?"

He closed his eyes as he let Haru rest his forehead upon his. It was a leap of faith, to do something like this so willingly. It didn't matter to Valor, he was an orphan who grew up in the guild. He didn't really know any other kind of life.

"We would live as assassins or mercinaries...I can live like that. I would bathe myself in war if it helped you."

(^///^ Thank you.)

Haru wrinkled his nose a little with distaste at the suggestions. "Or, you know, we could be normal people who don't have to worry about things like this," he said after a minute before he sighed softly. "I'm sorry," he apologized, tone soft and gentle again. "I didn't mean to snap."

He ran a hand through his hair, glancing away from Valor. He hadn't meant to snap, but he abhorred the idea of anyone being an assassin or mercenary, especially Valor...or even himself. He always had disliked it, but that didn't mean he had the right to get cranky with Valor.

Valor sat up and sighed. It was a hard life living as an assassin and mercinaries. A lot of people looked down upon you, seen as dogs of the state or dogs who's loyalty lies with whoever has the deepest pockets. It was hard life, a cursed life.

"...you could live normally...but carnage calls to me...it's what I am..."

He sat hunched over a bit. Sure he was werewolf, but a mercinary and a werewolf would be very helpfull in war. He could live like that, on the battle field. Monsters weren't only hunted and killed, they were bound and released in the most desperate of times.

Haru nodded slightly, lightly sucking on his tongue, trying to gather his thoughts. "I'm sorry," he said quietly after a minute. "I didn't mean to offend you or anything...I'm sorry."

He glanced at the floor, lightly flicking away a bone with the toe of his boot. He didn't dislike people who chose the job, but he couldn't do it...he was tired of fighting. He was good at it, but he was tired of it. He knew some people lived for it, but it wasn't for him...

He lightly chewed his tongue, worried he'd hurt Valor with his tone...He wanted Valor to be happy, even if it meant doing a job he himself wasn't suited for.
