Kei tightened his embrace, he wanted to let Ryo know that he was there for him and always will be. "No, I should have gone with you. But for my stupid dislike of crowded places...I didn't." He said hating himself, if only he had agreed to Ryo and gone with him, none of this would have happened. He mentally made an oath to beat the crap out of Masao if he ever saw him again.

[Arawn_Bheur]

Ryo gently trailed the tips of his fingers down the side of Kei's cheek, stroking gently. "It's all right," he whispered softly, not wanting Kei to be worked up because he was upset. It wasn't Kei's fault that this had happened and he didn't want him to think that it was. He nuzzled into Kei's shoulder as he curled up closer in the embrace. "....I love you," he added softly. He did even though the feelings running through him were negative.

[tuti]

"I love you too." Kei said before lightly kissing Ryo's lips. "And I know it's going to be difficult, but I promise you that Masao will soon be only a blurry memory...I'll make you forget about him." It was a promise Kei wasn't going to brake.

Kaito dried his wet hair with a small towel as he walked out of the bathroom and into the living room. He smiled as he saw Hiro watching something on the television and sat beside him on the couch. "Hey what are you watching?"

[Arawn_Bheur]

Hiro smiled at Kaito, shifting over a little so the younger man could sit better. "Just a scary flick," he said with a smile, pausing the movie in case Kaito didn't want to watch it. Not everyone liked scary films and he didn't know Kaito's preference. "Enjoy the shower?"

[tuti]

A big smile covered Kaito's face as he was asked about his shower. "Yup! It calmed my sore muscle, you know from carrying all those heavy boxes and all." He then noticed that Hiro had paused the movie it made him wonder whether he was disturbing the other. "I'm I interrupting you? You can continue watching, you don't have to stop because of me."

[Arawn_Bheur]

"Oh! You're not interrupting me," Hiro said with a smile, softly squeezing Kaito's wrist to show he wasn't. He turned the show back on, smiling softly again. "I just didn't know if you liked scary movies or if you preferred to watch something else."

[tuti]

Kaito shook his head 'no', a few drops flying around from his hair in the process. "No, I love scary movies!" He lied he was always scared of them but he didn't want Hiro to stop watching it because of him. "I didn't know you like these sort of movies..." He said as his eyes slowly widened, a horrifying scene showing on the screen. He placed the towel over his head as if to continue drying his hair.

 

The red haired boy closed his eyes as a bloody scene flashed before him and he automatically threw himself over Hiro, as if to hide himself from the demons on screen.

"I like just about any movie," Hiro said with a shrug and smile before looking back at the movie, settling down into the couch. He blinked in surprise at Kaito's movements and he gently slipped his arms around him, softly rubbing Kaito's side and back comfortingly. "I can turn it off, Kaito. I don't mind."

[tuti]

Kaito blinked finally realizing what he was doing. "Nah, I really like scary movies...this one just caught me off guard that's all." He cleared his throat as he pulled away from Hiro's comforting embrace. The blush on his face matching the color of his hair.

[Arawn_Bheur]

Hiro smiled softly at the blush, lightly biting his tongue as he managed to keep himself in line. All he wanted to do was pull Kaito close again, but he didn't want to push his room mate away from him...He let out a soft sigh, eyes moving back to the television...sometimes things were so complicated.

[tuti]

Kaito hugged his legs as he sat on the couch and silently half watched the movie. It was horrible; every time something scary came up he had to look away or bite his bottom lip to prevent himself from screaming. He sighed, relieved, once the movie finally ended but couldn't help wonder whether he would be able to sleep after what he saw or not.

 

"Er...it was a really good move." He said with a nervous smile.

[Arawn_Bheur]

Hiro smiled softly. "You're a liar," he said with a smile at Kaito. He hesitated a little bit before he reached over to pull over the younger boy to hold him close. "We really didn't have to watch that," he whispered quietly, just holding Kaito, nearly chickening out of everything.

[tuti]

Kaito laughed as Hiro pulled him in for a hug, it was a nice feeling. He sighed and closed his eyes glad he didn't had to pretend that he liked the movie anymore. "You are so nice Hiro, you are like the brother I never had." He said with a chuckled blushing from his own cheesy words.

[Arawn_Bheur]

Hiro gently squeezed Kaito, the slightest look of hurt crossing his face before vanishing before Kaito could see it. A brother...he didn't want to be like a brother...he wanted to be with Kaito as a lover, as a friend. He didn't want it to be like this, but he couldn't push Kaito.

 

"Thanks," he said with a soft smile at Kaito, gently squeezing him once more before letting him go.

[tuti]

Once he pulled away from Hiro's embrace, Kaito stood up from the couch and stretched his body like a cat. "Well I think I'll call it a night." He said before picking up the towel from the couch and looked at Hiro with a little concern. "Will you stay up a little bit longer?" He asked.

[Arawn_Bheur]

Hiro smiled softly at Kaito at his friend's concern. "Yeah, I'll be up a little longer," he said with another soft smile. He really needed to think about things now. "I'll keep quiet, I promise."

[tuti]

"Well, don't stay up too late, I don't want you start having panda eyes. It'll ruin your handsome face." Kaito said before wishing the other a good night and left the room.

Kei made his way through the crowd and all the way to the front row seats of the theater hall. Today was Ryo's performance and as promised he was going to sit right in front of the stage. He knew Kaito and Hiro where also coming to see the show so he saved two seats for them as well.

Hiro sat down next to Kei when he saw him, pulling Kaito down on the seat next to him so they weren't in people's ways. "Wow, he got you out of your room," Hiro teased Kei playfully, smiling softly.

 

Before a retort could happen, the lights in the auditorium dimmed and the air filled with expectation and excitement as music softly began to play. Lights flared briefly before the dancers slid out of the curtain. Ryo wasn't among them, being a main character. He made his appearance 10 minutes in, a heartbroken king turned monster. He moved in perfect harmony with the others, but on his solo or duel dances, he moved easily and on his own, playing out the part of a king looking for love, looking to be set free of everything. The dance was a mixture of Middle Eastern dances and of traditional ballet, but he worked both seamlessly together.

Kaito couldn't help the giggle escape his lips. Hiro was the only person he knew (besides Ryo) who could say things like that to Kei and continue on breathing. A frown covered Kei face hearing the red haired male giggle, if it weren't for Hiro sitting between them he would have slapped the other on the back of his head.

 

But then all feelings of hostility disappeared as the lights dimmed signaling that the show was about to start. Words were not sufficient to explain the beauty of what they were seeing. It was stunning. The audience became one with the main character; feeling his pain of loss and loneliness. Once the show ended everyone stood up from their seats giving the cast a standing ovation.

The cast walked out to give their bows. Ryo winked at Kei when he saw him, smiling softly. He was glad Kei had made it, and that he had managed to get a front row seat. The cast then went into the back to change and to wait for the people to start leaving. Ryo changed into sweats and a t-shirt before he quickly left before he was supposed to. He snuck onto the stage and hopped off it in front of Kei.

 

"You made it," he said with a happy smile as he leaned down to kiss his lover before he waved at Hiro and Kaito happily.

[tuti]

"And you thought I wouldn't?" Kei asked as he threw his arm over Ryo's shoulders and pulled him closer before kissing Ryo on the cheek. "You were great." He complimented with a loving smile.

 

"Wow, Ryo! You were amazing! The way you moved all over the stage, it was crazy!" Kaito jumped in obviously excited. He no longer felt any resentments towards Kei and Ryo. Thus he could finally act himself around them and it was all thanks to Hiro.

[Arawn_Bheur]

"No, of course you'd come," Ryo answered with a smile before leaning closer to Kei. "Because you like how I move," he added in a low, teasing purr so only Kei could hear before he pulled back and smiled at Kaito.

 

"Thank you," he said, still smiling softly at Kaito. He was glad the man was talking to him again. Hiro must have been really good for him.

 

"You were very good," Hiro said, rolling his eyes a little at Kaito's behavior. The younger man was definitely cute sometimes.

 

Ryo smiled happily in reply before he gently pulled Kei up. "Come on, I'm starved," he said with a smile, lacing his fingers through Kei's.

“Well, it doesn’t look that bad now that it looks like this.” Kei said as he looked around his and Ryo’s new apartment. They moved in two days ago and just now they finally finished putting everything in place. The place finally really looked like a home; their home. Four years went and passed by in a blink of an eye; and now Kei was no longer a mathematic college student but a math professor. And having Ryo by his side all these years made him feel like the luckiest guy on earth.

School had seemed to fly by quickly with Kei at his side. He was surprised when it was four years later and he landed a job as a gymnastics instructor. He would have loved dance, but he was also good at gymnastics. The job was wonderful and when he came home it was to a man who truly loved him and wanted to be with him. After Masao had disappeared from their lives, everything seemed to get better. Ryo had managed to graduate with honors, Kei lived with him now, Hiro had finally found a beautiful man who loved him back, and Kaito was in Paris to study cuisine. Nothing could have been better.

 

Ryo smiled softly, taking Kei's hand in his as he surveyed the new apartment. It was the first one they got together. "No, it looks great," he said with a smile as he kissed Kei softly before gently leading him to the couch to sit down and curl up close to him. "Ours forever..." he whispered softly as he rested his head on his love's shoulder. Yes, theirs forever.

Kei pulled Ryo closer to him and kissed the top of his lovers head and smiled. Yes, life couldn't get any better. If someone who'd have told him four years ago that he would be happily in love with a man as wonderful as Ryo, he would laugh at them and say they were crazy. Ryo was the best thing that had happened to him, if it weren't for him his life would probably be meaningless. "Yeah." He said softly and leaned his chin on Ryo's head. "Our house, you and me; I'll never let you go." He said softly as he lovingly caressed Ryo's arm.
