tuti Posted June 3, 2012 Author Share Posted June 3, 2012 In a world where demons walked on the streets among humans, some of them living peacefully together but some others only lived to kill humans and to feed upon their flesh and blood. Yet, there was still hope for those defenseless humans. The famous Demon Slasher. Those who had been able to see him in action say that he was a demon himself masking his face, fighting with a long sword cutting the demons flawlessly in half or a half breed, born from a human mother and a demon father. But The Demon Slasher, was neither a demon nor a half breed. He was a human being, a young samurai that had the duty to protect those unable to protect themselves... "Don't run so fast!" Yu yelled as he chased with his supernatural speed after a wild demon. The demon was just about to attack a small village when Yu heard the cries of an old woman. Yu was used to this, but lately demon attacks have being increasing tremendously. He blinked as the demon jumped into a small puddle of water disappearing from Yu's view. Of course, he didn't think twice before jumping in the water himself. The moment he jumped into the pool of water he had to close his eyes as a blinding white light exploded and surrounded him. He opened his eyes feeling his feet touch the ground and looked around him in wonder. He was in a strange place. He was no longer in the deep woods of his world, they've been replaced by high buildings of concrete. The people passing by looked like the ones of his own world yet they wore funny clothes. He was soon pulled from his small moment of dizziness by the piercing screams of people being frightened by the demon. Funny thing was that the demon wasn't attacking the people around him...but it aimed at only one person. A boy. He took a better hold of his precious sword as he saw the demon still in sight aiming for a boy, who just like the rest was wearing weird clothes. kittypanda Posted June 3, 2012 Share Posted June 3, 2012 Sora was just coming home from school in the late afternoon due to the fact that he had to stay after and clean up the math room. He sighed as he was minding his own business looking up at the sky with his deep blue eyes wondering if something bad was going to happen. Oh how right his gut feeling was. He heard screams of terror and horror as people were running in different directions which caused him to raise a nice smooth black eyebrow. But that was short lived due to the fact that this weird ugly creature was running right at him. His blue eyes widened in fear as he tried to will his body to move but it didn't, he was just to afraid to move. People were yelling at him to get out of the way and run for it but he was to afraid to move. When he did find the nerve to move it was too late the ugly creature jumped on top of him ready about to kill him with its ugly sharp claws. The thoughts that were going through his head was 'Am I going to die... I'm too young to die!' He thought as his eyes closed tightly wishing that it would go away and that he was dreaming. tuti Posted June 3, 2012 Author Share Posted June 3, 2012 The demon about to eat the strange boy while holding him with its clawed hands but Yu beat him to that; cutting his arm off swiftly with his sword. The arm fell to the ground turning into ashes and disappearing in thin air immediately. Yet, the wild beast didn't back away and instead of fighting Yu for hurting him, he continued on attacking the boy. Why isn't it fighting me?It's as if all it wants is this strange boy. Yu thought. The demon was a strong one and that simple arm-lost wasn't enough to kill him. Sure that the demon was after the boy for some reason, Yu picked the strange boy up bridal-style, not wanting to loose any more precious time. He stood in front of a huge tree and after hastily concentrating his energy into his sword he sliced the huge tree in two making a temporal portal towards his own world. He turned around to face the demon, which was screaming madly as it charged towards them. Yu frowned and practically threw the boy into the shining hole. Now, having his hands finally free, he charged towards the coming demon slicing it in two, killing it for good. The dead beast turned into ashes before disappearing in thin air. The light coming from the tree was slowly fading signaling the portal was about to close. Yu rushed and jumping into the shinning hole before it disappeared completely. Sealing the contact between the two different worlds. Yu had to close his eyes yet again as the blinding light covered him again. As he fell smoothly on his feet he opened his eyes and shielded his sword letting it hang over his waist. kittypanda Posted June 3, 2012 Share Posted June 3, 2012 Sora couldn't believe what was happening or what had happened for that matter, that strange man had saved him but he also kidnapped him. He didn't know what was going on or where he was but he did know for sure that he had to get away from that man as soon as he could. After that creature had attacked him he ended up with cuts on his arms and neck, his school uniform was cut up as well. All he was doing was going home, and then this happens! With his mind on so many things at once he didn't realize that he wondered into the woods nor did he notice the large tree root sticking out of the ground causing him to fall forwards on his face as a sheering pain shot up from his ankle. He pushed himself up with tears willing up in his eyes. "Why me... Why today of all days! Is this a cruse!" he said loudly as he started to wipe his eyes free from tears with his dirty hands. Once Sora finished wiping the tears from his eyes he tried standing up but hissed in pain as he fell back down on his butt, "I'm so hopeless..." he whispered while warping his arms around his chest. tuti Posted June 3, 2012 Author Share Posted June 3, 2012 A frown appeared on Yu's face at the realization that he couldn't find the boy anywhere. He groaned as he jumped from tree to tree in his search. Fortunately, it didn't take Yu long to find him hugging himself, probably in fear. Yu didn't care whether he was scared or frightened by his new surroundings, all he knew was that he needed to take him to his master. There was no doubt that the demon had intentionally jumped into that pool to get the boy. Which was strange since wild demons couldn't think nor had the power to create portals to other worlds. Maybe, just maybe this had something to do with increase in wild demon attacks recently. Yu walked closer to the frightened boy and bended over so he was face to face with him. "Come with me." He said not sure if he could understand him. "What is your name?" He asked slowly and making signs with his hands, he didn't know whether they spoke the same language or not. A kidnapper!" he pointed at the other male with a weird look crossing his face. "What do you want from me money? Or... Something else..." his blue eyes narrowed as he tried getting back up but hissing in pain once again due to the fact that his ankle was hurting horribly. "Are you here to kill me? If so then please get it over with... If not then take me home!" Sora said with a slightly shaky angry voice while he kept looking at the man with a suspicious look on his face. "What the hell? This is how you repay me from saving your sorry ass?" He rudely said glad that the other understood his language (or his insults?). "If I wanted to, I could have let that demon have you for dinner." He said standing up and wrapped his arms over his chest. "You are in no position to give order or should I leave you here and let another demon attack you? You can't possibly defend yourself with that hurting ankle of yours." He said with victorious grin. But it then hit him when the older male said ""Demon."" That sent red flags going through his head immediately, he then looked back over at the male with raised black eyebrows. "D-Demons! What!? I-I-I thought they don't exist! Or at least I thought they were not living anymore!" He looked around his surroundings and then it hit him hard. "I... This must be a horrible dream! "Well sorry to burst your bubble but they do exist." He said and furrowed his eyebrows recalling how the wild beast went on and attacked the strange boy as if it knew what it was doing. "Look, you are obviously hurt and for some reason the demons are attracted to you. I might be wrong but right now this seemed like the best solution. Are you going to come with me or do you want to stay here alone?" He asked one last time; though he planned to grab the other boy and drag him to see his master in case he refused. "I'm not going with somebody that I don't even know! So I'll stay here! Like I said it's all a horrible dream!" he said as he then looked away from him with his arms crossed over his chest. 'I really wish I was home with mother and Kaiko...' he thought with a small smile on his face just the thought of his home was making him happy. tuti Posted June 3, 2012 Author Share Posted June 3, 2012 Yu growled angry at the stubbornness of the other boy and frantically ran a hand through his hair messing it even further. Yu wasn't a patient guy and the strange boy was really playing with fire. "Fine! Then I'll take you by force!" He shouted and marched forward grabbing the slightly smaller boy and threw him over his shoulders as if he were a mere bag of potatoes. "You wont cooperate nor will you tell me your name. You are one stubborn pain in the ass!" He angrily said as he skillfully jumped from tree to tree, he had a strong hold on the boy to prevent him from falling down. He rushed towards the outskirts of the main city and where his master's house was located. They entered a place surrounded by huge walls made by stones to prevent the place to be attacked by wild demons. The place was more lively and full of people, it was a market place. In this place people actually stopped what they were doing to stare at the strange boy with strange hair and eyes color in wonder. Was he a demon? Still caring the boy over his shoulders, Yu entered a small not so well looking shop. The place was full of bottles filled with alcohol yet to be sold. "Master I've return." Yu yelled calling for his master and released his hold on the strange boy letting him fall butt first on the floor. After a few seconds of waiting a tall and strong looking man came into view his long black hair swaying behind him. "Why are you here so early?" The man asked not noticing the boy behind Yu. "I've come with someone of the other world master. I think this boy might have something to do with the increasing cases of demon attacks." Never before in his life has he been handled like that and he didn't like it one bit. "You shouldn't treat people like dirt if they don't agree to you! Nor should you man-handle somebody that you don't even know! So I stand by what I said earlier! Your a kidnapper!" He hissed harshly as he crossed his arms over his chest while his glare was still held in place. "Oh and another thing Mister! You shouldn't blame other people for your problems! tuti Posted June 3, 2012 Author Share Posted June 3, 2012 Yu's eyebrow began to twitch in pure anger at the audacity of the boy he had saved not too long ago. He seriously wished he had let the demon ate him instead. "Would you give it a rest already?!" He shouted back at the other his patience running thin. "All of this is real so deal with it!" Kenji, Yu's sensei, the man that had thought Yu everything he knows even though he now only runs a cheap liquor shop. Furrowed his eye brows taking in the image of the strange boy and the conversation (or quarrel) they were having. "He sure doesn't look he's from here, what with that hair and strange clothes." He then angrily looked at Yu. "Why the hell did you go the other world even though I have strictly forbidden you to." He shouted at his pupil. Yu looked pissed himself feeling offended by his master accusation. Like master, like pupil. "I didn't go on my own free will!" He defended himself. "I was chasing after a wild demon when I suddenly was in his word." He said pointing at the still unknown boy. "The demon ignored me and the people around it, it only wanted this boy. I decided to bring him here to prevent other demons to travel to the other world looking for him. They obviously want him...though I don't know why...he is one pain in the ass." Yu concluded folding his arms over his chest. Kenji nodded after hearing Yu's story. "Good thinking, if what you say is true and the demon was really after the boy it would be a catastrophe if the other world gets also infected by these creatures." kittypanda Posted June 3, 2012 Share Posted June 3, 2012 The younger male huffed at first while the male that brought him here was talking but when the other spoke to him he looked at him straight in the eyes and sighed knowing fully well that it would do him no good fighting him at all so he answered him. "My name is Sora Hiroshi sir..." he said as he bowed his head in respect, "I didn't mean to be such a burden I'm sorry... It's just I was heading home from school and then this happens... Kenji nodded at Sora before saying. "I see, you need not to apologize. This was something you didn't ask for, I apologize for my pupil he can be quite of a...brute sometimes but he means well." He said ignoring the angry comments he was receiving from Yu. "Excuse us for a minute." He said before going into another room, dragging Yu with him. "Listen to me." Kenji said crossing his strong arms over his broad and strong chest. Yu only sighed and dropped on a chair, he felt tired, he only wanted to figure out what was causing the demons go all in riot so frequently. It was normal to have a demon attacking a village now and then, but lately Yu was having barely time to rest. He just killed a demon when he had to go running after another one. And now this stubborn guy shows up? What the hell was going on? "This is not the first time; something like this had happened before, a few years ago." His master voice pulled Yu out of his train of thought. "What do you mean, master?" "I'm not sure, I have no proof of it. But some time ago a costumer told me a funny story; I didn't pay much attention since the old man was drunk." Kenji explained. "He told me that a few years ago while he was planting seeds for the new harvest season, he saw a demon with the form of a lion carrying a young woman between his sharp teeth's." Kenji paused before continuing. "He said he couldn't see it very clearly since the demon ran too fast for his tired eyes, but the woman didn't look like someone that belonged to this world." Yu stood up after hearing his master's story. "No way. This makes no sense at all, wild demons, are irrational beasts. And I'm pretty sure the one I killed today was a wild demon and not a domestic one." Yu said feeling more and more confused by the whole situation. Kenji opened a box which was on his desk and took some clean bandages from it. "If these rumors are true, we can't let that boy return to his world...at least not until we figure out what's going on." He said with his stern voice and walked back to Sora. "You are hurt. For the past few days he hardly had gotten a good night sleep due to him studying for exams. He rubbed his deep blue eyes as a yawn escaped from his lips. 'Man I can't sleep now with all of this going on...' he thought as he kept on rubbing his eyes as he felt tears coming down his pale face. "I want to go home.... I can't miss today... I just can't..." he then covered his face with his hands as he cried. His tiny shoulders were shaking due to the fact that he was crying even more. "Mother... I'm sorry..." Yu frowned ready to express more hateful words towards Sora but the sight of the younger male's blue eyes full of tears froze him. Somehow it pained him to see the other in such a depressing state. Kenji was right, it wasn't Sora's fault and Yu wasn't being exactly the charming savior. With a soft sigh he walked closer to the crouching boy and placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry but things here are a little bit unstable at the moment. I'll make sure to bring you back to your world as soon as everything settles down." He said meaning every single world. He then looked up at the older male and gave a soft and sweet smile. "It's nice to meet you Yu..." he said softly as he stared at the other with teary blue eyes. He then looked away feeling heat cross over his pale cheeks. "And thank you for saying th-" his voice trailed off as the heat on his cheeks darkened, he fell over to the side passing out. They where so beautiful and gorgeous he felt as if he were being hypnotized by them. "Hoi...hoi!" He tried to shake the other but it was clear that had fallen asleep. Kenji walked into the room and noticed that Sora had passed out. "Take him to your room." He order and Yu nodded before picking up the sleeping boy effortlessly in his arms. He lied the younger boy carefully on his futon and stepped away; he quickly glanced at the boy's sleeping face before exiting the room. "He must be really tired." "M-Mother..." he whispered in his sleep as a horrible image came to mind. The sky was dark and gray due to the fresh fallen snow. A little Sora was standing there watching his home burning to the ground. His eyes filled with tears as he watched his childhood home burn. "Mommy!" a little girl cried out as she ran towards the family that was standing outside watching their home being destroyed. Soon the image switched to an Older Sora who was watching as his family dropped down one by one dead. He looked up and saw glowing red eyes smirking at him. "When you get home everybody you loved will be gone!" the voice laughed evilly as everything soon became dark. Sora's breathing was coming out more harder and faster, the red of his cheeks grew darker. tuti Posted June 6, 2012 Author Share Posted June 6, 2012 Yu was feeling really bored and honestly had nothing to do other than help his master around the shop. He decided to go out in order to inspect outside the city walls in case any wild demon was in the area. But first he wanted to check on Sora, he didn't know why but something deep inside of him told him to go and check on him. With that thought in mind he slided the shoji door to his room open and a worried expression covered his face. Sora was sleeping but he was clearly in distress, was he having a nightmare? Sora's voice trembled as he said the older males name. He then shot up hugging him, his whole body was shaking horribly. "I-it was awful!" he said right into Yu's shoulder, his hands clutched onto the males clothing. "Those eyes! Those horrible red eyes!" he whimpered burring his face even more into the older males shoulder. He couldn't stop shaking due to the fact that the image of his family falling dead before his eyes was still burned in his mind just like those red eyes. The long haired boy wasn't a guy who knew how to show affection but right now he felt that wrapping his arms protectively around Sora was the right thing to do. "Hey don't cry." He said soothingly. "It was just a nightmare." He didn't know why but the vision of Sora tearful eyes was something he didn't like to see, it made him feel something weird and funny deep inside his chest.
