The boy removed his face from the males shoulder looking up at him with his now puffy blue eyes. He removed one hand from the older boys clothing to rub his eyes. The tears finally stopped falling as he released a sigh, "I know it was a nightmare but it felt so real..." he whispered softly as a frown crossed over his face. "Well I guess I can go for a walk... But first can I take a bath first? I mean I'm covered in sweat and dirt..." he pointed out while his frown disappeared and was replaced with a soft smile.

Yu nodded somehow feeling relieved after seeing Sora's frown disappear. He couldn't help notice the handsomeness of the other boy; he was a real beauty. Of course, he wasn't planning on telling him that though. "Sure, I'll lend you some of my clothes, though they might not fit you." Yu said as he grabbed a kimono he no longer used because it was too small for him and gave it to the slightly smaller boy. "The bathroom is at the end of the hall, don't worry I'll prepare the water for you." He said with a smile and rushed outside to heat up the water.

Sora took a hold of the kimono looking at it with a raised eyebrow. It was folded all nice and neat, the coloring was light and filled with color that would defiantly bring out his eyes and hair color. He sighed as he stood up slowly and winched when pain shot up from his ankle almost making him fall over. 'Damn... My ankle still hurts...' he thought with a sigh escaping from his lips. "I wondering how mother's birthday went..." he wondered out loud as a thoughtful look crossed over his face, he then shook his head while he limped towards the direction that Yu said the bath was. As he was walking he kept on winching because of his ankle.

Yu walked back into the house to tell Sora that the water was ready for him to use but frowned at the sight of the other leaning on the wall. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked rushing to the blue eyed boy's side. "You still can't walk properly, huh?" He asked not really expecting an answer and wrapped his arm around Sora's hip and pulled him closer to him. "Lean on me, I'll help you."

Sora's who face became red as he felt the other boy wrap his arm around his waist and pulling him closer to him, he looked up at him and then he looked away his cheeks becoming more redder. "Uh... Sure..." he said in a shy way doing as he was told and leaned on Yu. 'My god this is embarrassing!' he thought as he looked down at the floor feeling completely helpless, he released a sigh still holding onto the kimono. "Um... Yu... Thank you for saving me earlier..." he said in a very serious voice, "Without you I would have been dead..." he frowned lightly while his eyes stayed on the ground.

Yu frowned lightly at the sight of Sora's face, he couldn't understand why his face had turned into a deep shade of red. Was he having a fever? But the again he could feel the other's body heat was normal so he couldn't be feeling feverish...weird. "Nah, no need to thank me. What kind of guy would I be if I just stand by and let someone get hurt by those hideous creatures?" He said looking at Sora even though he couldn't see the other's face. He helped the younger boy get into the bathroom and also helped him to sit on the edge of tub. "Ehm...you need my help for anything else?" He asked scratching the back of his head not sure if the other was able to bathe himself or not.

Just hearing the other male say that made his face flush even more, "Uh... I... I can do it myself..." he shuddered as he felt even more embarrassed. He then took a deep breath as he took off his jacket folding it up and placing it beside him, the next thing that came off was his school vest which he also folded up and placed it on top of his jacket. He then looked at the other with rosy cheeks. "Uh... Yu? Can you please leave so I can... Um undress..." he said in a very shy and low voice. Sora's hands were on his shirt waiting for the older boy to leave so that he can finish undressing.

"Sure, hmm, I'll be standing outside in case you need my help or something." He said a bit confused. He couldn't understand the weird sensation he was feeling as he watched the other boy undress. It was weird and it was something he'd never felt before. "Don't hesitate to call for me if you need help." He said with a gentle smile and stepped out of the bathroom. He then sat outside the shoji door with his arms folded over his chest; he closed his eyes and began to think about the situation they were in. He had to figure out what was going on with the increasing attacks and why it was connected to Sora, if it was connected...

Once the older male left he released a sigh that he didn't know that he was holding back. Once he had finished undressing he moved into the water a soft and happy giggle came out of his mouth. The warm water felt so good against his skin. The pain in his ankle was now a dull pain. He then closed his eyes thinking about how he got in this mess and how his family was doing, the thought of them made him sink lower in the tub only his nose and eyes were seen. 'Mom... Please forgive me...' he thought sadly a frown now crossing over his pale face. He then felt something tug on his leg making him jolt up but in that one movement the tug on his leg came again causing him to yelp loudly as he was dragged underwater. Splashing water everywhere getting his clothes wet as he shot up from the water but was soon dragged under but he did yell for Yu before he was dragged under. He was trying to surface but was stopped when he looked down to see what it was dragging him under.

 

It was another demon but this time it had a tentacle wrapped around Sora's hurt ankle causing him to let out a gasp, causing water to fill his body. The water demon was tricky and sneaky. It had mended in with the water that Yu used to fill the tub with. The demon smirked knowing full well that it made its self unknown to the Demon Slasher. The water filled the young boys body fast making him feel lightheaded and dizzy. The last thing he saw before he passed out was another tentacle grabbing his other ankle pulling him even deeper in the bath water.

The young Demon slasher sitting outside the bathroom door was so deep in thoughts that he didn't hear the loud splashing of the water. Luckily, his sharp ears were able to hear Sora's cry for help. Immediately he shot up and slided the door open; the first thing that caught his eyes was the water all over the floor. He quickly searched for Sora but he was nowhere to be seen.

 

A frightened expression covered his handsome face as he saw a small splash of water and rushed to the tub. His eyes widened at the sight of Sora being drowned by a demon in the form of an octopus. How did the demon get in here in first place?

 

He fiercely jumped in the water and tried to free Sora from the demon's strong grip, but the demon was way stronger. He quickly unsheathed his sword which was by his side and cut the demon's tentacle, freeing the younger boy. The demon cried in pain and tried to attack Yu but Yu was quicker and slided the water demon in two, ending its life.

 

He pressed Sora's naked body against his and got them out of the water. "Sora! Hoi! Wake up!" He shouted as he pushed on the other's chest to get the water out. "Come on Sora! Don't you want to go back home?" He shouted ignoring Kenji's questions. The man had rushed into the bathroom after hearing all that noise.

 

Yu pinched Sora's nose and lifted his chin before placing his mouth over the other. He then began to blow out slowly, helping the unconscious boy to breath.

Sora felt like he was spiraling into darkness but he did however hear a voice calling out his name. 'Who's voice is that? And why do I feel a mouth on mine...' he thought as his deep blue eyes fluttered opened and he sat up coughing up water. "W-What happened..." his voice was scratchy due to the fact that he just coughed up some water. He however didn't notice that was naked and in front of the two men. When his eyes came into focused he saw Yu and his master there. "Y-Yu? What's going on? What ha-" he cut himself as he started to feel a strong blast of wind hit his bare body... Wait... Bare body? He looked down and finally realized that he was well nude. He then tried to cover himself up with his hands a huge blush spreading across his face.

 

'Oh man! This has to be the most embarrassing moment in my life!' he thought as his blush deepened. He put his head down not wanting to look at the two men. His black hair fell in front of his eyes covering them up with his black bangs.

"You were attacked by a water demon." Yu said too worried about Sora's wellbeing to care about the other being naked. Actually, the fact of the other boy being naked so close to him didn't even register in his head at all. But of course, Kenji, unlike his pupil, was fully aware of the younger boy's embarrassment and so he threw a kimono jacket over Sora's crouching body covering him.

 

"I guess that proves these demons are really after Sora." Kenji said as he folded his arms deep in thoughts and walked out of the room.

 

Yu frowned hating himself for letting it happened. "Sorry, I was unable to feel the demon inside the water...you could have died." Yu bowed his head in front of Sora apologetically.

 

The older man walked back into the room holding a silver necklace in his hand. "Here, you must wear this all the time; never take it off." He said handing the necklace to Sora. "What is that?" Yu asked lifting his head.

 

"It might not be powerful, but this necklace will help disguise Sora's presence from the demons." He said and Yu blinked confused, why would his master have such a thing?

Sora looked at Yu with a frown crossing over his small rose petal lips as he pulled the kimono jacket closer to him tying it so that it would not fall off of his body. He then leaned forwards and placed his hand on the older boys shoulder as a reassuring smile soon replaced the frown. "Yu... It's not your fault... It's mine..." he whispered softly before he looked over at Kenji and taking the necklace from the man's hands. He then removed his other hand from Yu's shoulder and put the necklace on. The silver was bright and it looked good around Sora's pale neck.

 

He lifted it up to look at it more clearly, his deep blue eyes looked up from it and gave the man a confused look. "Disguise my presence? How so?" he asked as clear confusion was heard in his voice. He was just as confused as Yu was.

The tall man folded his arms over his muscular chest as he began to speak. "It is more than clear now that these beasts are after you." He said looking at Sora. "The reason to this we don't know yet. Not only are they desperately looking for you, but it seems they are intelligent too." Kenji added. No wild demon could be smart enough to come up with such a good plan to sneak in, as that water demon did.

 

"As I said before," Kenji continued. "This necklace is not that powerful and therefore, Sora, you must learn how to defend yourself, Yu can't be around you all the time you are in need. He will teach you; find out what weapon suit you best. Whether it is a sword or archery it doesn't matter as long as you can fight for yourself." Yu was okay with that, not only will that necklace keep Sora safe but the idea of teaching Sora how to fight didn't sound bad at all. Yet there was still something that didn't sit right to him.

 

"But why do you, a retired swordsman, have such a magical thing as this necklace in your possession?" Yu asked curious and confused at the same time.

 

Kenji looked at his pupil, his face expressionless. "A friend gave it to me." He said in a low voice, before leaving the bathroom. He had to attend his shop after all.

 

Yu stood up and looked at Sora. "Is there anything you think you are good at? With weapons and fighting I mean?" He asked.

The young raven haired boy's confused look dropped as a thinking one took its place, his hand gripped his chin as if he was thinking about what the man had said and about Yu teaching him how to fight. A bright happy smile crossed over his face when he heard archery. "Archery... Definitely!" his voice held excitment in it as did his deep blue eyes. "You know I won 2 place in the Inter-High School Tournament... I would have won first if I hadn't screwed up the last shot..." he sighed dejected about the memory.

Yu smiled really enjoying Sora's excitement about learning how to defend himself. Though he really didn't understand what he meant with 'Inter-High School Tournament'. Was that some sort of competition? "Good that means I'll don't have to teach you from scratch." He said and helped Sora to stand up. "We'll start tomorrow morning so better get some rest today. If that foot of yours doesn't get well soon..." He said softly trailing off as he looked down at Sora's bandaged ankle.

Sora noticed the concern in his voice which made him smile softly at the other boy but nodded his head as he gripped onto Yu so that he wouldn't fall. "Yeah... Your right... But don't worry I'm sure it will be fine by tomorrow..." he said in a soft but reassuring voice. "Well... Uh I guess I better get some sleep huh?" his voice still was soft but slightly weak from almost drowning. With that thought going through his head he frowned slightly, why was this happening to him? Why him of all people? Why did these creatures want him dead?

Yu nodded with a smile but it soon was replaced with a serious expression noticing the sadness in Sora's beautiful eyes. "Don't worry, I promise you I'll figure out what's going on...have faith an me." Yu said his voice filled with seriousness. He wasn't one to break his promises. "Come, I'll fix a futon for you." Luckily they had an extra futon that Sora could use. But since there wasn't any other empty rooms, Sora and Yu will have to share a room.

Sora woke up bright and early the next day he sat up and stretched out his back hearing a satisfying crack, he sighed while rubbing his eyes to get the sleep out from them. He however noticed that by the foot of his futon he saw a black and blue hakama. The shirt was black with a white sash and the pants were a deep blue. He took off the kimono jacket off sliding it off his shoulders. He stood up letting the fabric fall to the ground while he pulled on the shirt and then the pants. He took a deep breath as he then took his first step of the day, shocked that his foot was feeling much better then it had yesterday.

 

He then looked over at Yu with a soft smile on his face as he thought that the older boy looked quite attractive when he slept. His blue eyes widened as he realized what he just thought which caused him to blush brightly and shake his head trying to get that thought out of his head.

As if feeling the other's eyes on him, Yu slowly opened his eyes waking up. "Hmm morning." He said shifting into a sitting position on the futon. He then smiled widely as he noticed Sora standing without any difficulties. "I see you ankle has healed." He said softly with a hint of admiration in his eyes, though he wasn't aware of it.

 

Just then as if breaking what could have been a magical moment, Kenji slided the door open. "You two plan to eat breakfast or what? If you don't get ready I'll eat up everything." He said and left the room. "Ah!" Yu shouted agitated knowing that Kenji could indeed eat everything and leave him without anything to eat. "Come Sora, otherwise there wont be anything left for us!" He said and took Sora hand in his as they rushed to the dining area.

Sora's who face became bright red as he felt Yu take him by the hand and dragging him along with him. "Ah! Yu! Your running way to fast!" the younger said as he literally felt like his feet weren't even touching the ground. He sighed shaking his head but laughing lightly as he thought that the older male was acting like a kid on Christmas day. The younger boy's thoughts then traveled to what had happened yesterday which made his smile the turned into a frown and so he sighed once again.

Despite living in a world terrorized by demons and hideous creatures and on top of that never knowing his parents, Yu was a cheerful guy. Of course, there were still things he disliked, like crowded places and loud noises, but generally he was a kind young man willing to help anyone in need.

 

"Fish? Again?" He complained receiving a glare from the tall older man who raised Yu as if he were his own son. "If you don't want it don't eat it." Kenji said ready to take Yu's plate away but the young pupil quickly snatched the plate away. Kenji handed another plate to Sora before saying. "Eat, you'll need the strength." He said and went to the back of the shop to look for something.

 

"Aha." He said as he found what he was looking for and walked back to the dining area with a bow and a few red arrows in his hands. "Yu told me you are good with archery. Take these." He said giving the weapon to Sora.

 

Yu looked at the red arrows and arched an eyebrow. "Why do you have this?" He questioned, he didn't know why but lately he realized that his master was keeping things from him. "That is not important." Kenji answered as he resumed eating his breakfast.

 

(It's weird to have fish for breakfast but let's go with the flow xD)

Sora thanked the man for the food and for the bow and arrows. He held the bow for a few minutes trying to get use to the feel of it in his hands once again. He then placed it down next to him and continued to eat his meal which he had finished off considering the fact that he didn't eat dinner the other night which made him sigh. He then got up and bowed excusing himself from the table taking the bow and arrows with him.

 

He then walked away from the dinning area and back towards the room that he slept in last night.

Yu watched the other boy leave with a worried expression in his eyes, it was obvious the other boy was feeling down. He didn't blame him, yet he wanted to cheer him up. Kenji also noticed the detachment in Sora but did nothing about it, he wasn't the kind of man to mingle in someone's else business, instead he went to the back of his shop and started mixing the ingredients for his sake.

 

Yu stood from where he was and followed Sora. "Hey are you okay?" He asked softly placing a hand on the slightly shorter boy's shoulder.

Sora jumped slightly when he felt the hand on his shoulder and the voice that had spoken to him. He was so lost in his thoughts about his home that he didn't notice the other boy walk in. He turned around and looked up taller boy with a soft smile crossing over his pale face. "Yeah... I'm fine... Just feeling a little home sick... Even though I was there yesterday morning..." at first his voice was low and held a sadness in it but at the end he gave a slight pity chuckle. He then took a deep breath in trying to calm his nerves down. "Well... shall we go out and practice?" his voice was a little more cheerful now that he got his self pity out of his system.
