Benniah Cross is the only one whose veins are filled with mixed blood,a sinful child born out of a human mother and a father,the God of the Moonless Kingdom. Legends spread across the whole timeless land say that one would rule only if awaken to godly powers,yet with heart warm,beating of a human. To be done so,his powers shall be awaken by a strong wizard. Once Benniah would awaken,he could rule the time,due to the powerful blood of his father's side. Currently the boy is no where to be found,rumors even say he's long ago dead. Yet,no one would guess he is just living in a cave,near the Griah lake. Like a loner wolf,he lives for the day. Harsh and mean to whoever tries to break into his personal space.

 

Personality:

 

Cross is far from believing in someone and is so because of being abandoned by humans. Benniah knows sarcasm well,as well what merciless means,but deep inside his hear,the warm glitter of kindness is still alive.

 

Hobbies:

 

Cross swims a lot,may be because his current home,the cave, is just above a lake which is formed by a waterfall from back his cave. He goes often to hunt and enjoys being around animals. One of his favorite things to do is annoying the gods with his attitude. Although powerless without his god-power,Benniah still loves to see their irritated looks because they can't get rid of him. His father would never allow to have his blood destroyed,it's like losing a part of himself.

It was one of these days that Benniah preferred to spend in the town,instead of hunting. The weather was a bit cold,just like before a storm. The young male looked up to the sky,his jade green eyes reflected the clouds floating up high. It wasn't something out of the ordinariness,just the opposite - this place was always dark and cloudy.

 

His morning started well,now he headed to go visit a friend who had a store,but not whatever kind of a store,but for weapons.

-''Yo,Cross.'', the old man waved at the boy though the cigarette's ash fell down,as he held the cancer stick between lips.

-''Anything new?''

-''Follow me.'',the man got inside with his cigarette,leading Benniah underground the store.

It was another busy day for a young male who was running around doing errands for the elder's, as the male was running through the marble halls of the wizard court. The heel of his black boots echoed through the halls. He released a sigh which he was holding for... Well he wasn't quite sure for how long he was holding it. As he was about to turn a corner an elder stopped him in his tracks. "Kiera how many times have I told you not to run in these halls!" the elderly man scowled the younger man.

 

Kiera laughed lightly as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Uh four times actually...." he said while a blush formed on his face, he was quite embarrassed. The elder sighed and took a hold of the scroll that Kiera had in his hand. "Well... I'll take this... And you will go and study do I make myself clear?" "Yes sir!" Kiera bowed before he walked away and headed to the library.

When they got inside,they took another root from the one an ordinary client would take. It led them to stairs though for the underground. The old male stopped,to look around and beckoned Cross with a hand-waving.

-''Come,hurry.'',the man whispered in a rush and lowered head down,to not hit it since the downstairs were quite hard to walk on. The stone they were made of was pretty much glacial-like,and if one wasn't careful they'd end up in coma after a head-hit.

 

Benniah followed and both males disappeared from one's sight. Only a slight echo of the old man's voice could be heard before the moving wall opened ,to close behind them.

-''You've become creepier,old man.'',Cross looked around,his green eyes narrowed for an attempt to see forward.

-''You'd sing another song,if was in my shoes,boy. Lately a lot of trolls seem to have appeared,ya' know. If they sniff any trace of my weapons,I'd be food for dogs.'',the man shook head,lowering his upper half,to grip some sort of knob which seemed to be part of the wall. He pushed it and then pulled it,the wall shook a bit to welcome them in a huge under ground city. The streets were busy and all kind of stores could be found there offering different things - from poisonous flowers to the latest brand of blades.

 

Benniah lifted a brow.

-''Impressed.''

-''You bet.'',the old man chuckled and they entered the city.

-''Welcome to "No-troll-would-ever-find-this-place-landia.'',he out-stretched arms,introducing the city to Benniah.

-''....", the young boy just gave a blank stare at the name he just heard.

-''...Joking. This is ''Jarrad City.''

Cross sighed in relief,for a second he thought that was the real name. He looked around and jabbed hands in pockets. It was time to take a tour around.

The young wizard opened the large oak doors which led to the library, the wizard library was huge! It had hundred's and hundred's of books. It had books about the history of Lencaster, The City of Wizards. The other books were about the six founding wizards of old and spell books, for beginners and for masters. At the wooden oak tables there were younger wizards sitting at them reading while others were practicing magic. Kiera smiled lightly as he walked past the others and straight to the back where they kept the most advance magic spell books. Once he reached the back he grabbed the book that he was reading from its hiding place.

 

He then sat down on the marble floor opening up the book to the page he had marked. As he got to it he released a sigh that he didn't know he was holding. 'Jeez the Elders sure do ask way to much out of me...' he thought as he continued to read where he had left off.

The light haired boy got himself inside the underground city. At first glance,it looked as a place where only criminals would gather,but that wasn't the case. All creatures that were against being mere slaves of gods,that knew no humanity,would wander around Jarrad city.

The place would always change its location and the gatekeeper,the old man who led Banniah there, had for task to make sure all his clients would be able to find every new location.

 

Why was that - simply because the trolls were hunters for riots, they would destroy every single hope of break through the current strict god-ruling.

 

Cross were well known in the world of protestants,they knew him for his intelligence and skills at everything he do would be successful.

One thing a few knew,in his veins godly pure blood ran.

A sign he stopped his gaze on. Benniah got inside and as soon as he opened the door,some old woman fell on the ground,from the shelves she was ordering with books and different gadgets.

-''Ah,is it you Benniah?'',the blind woman got up and reached hand for the administration desk.

Kiera furrowed his brown eyebrows together as he saw in the corner of his two different colored eyes a book that was shinning a unique golden red light which caused him to close the advance spell book. He looked around to see if anybody else was seeing this, but atlas he was the only one so he got up and dusted off his form fitting black pants. He placed the book that he was reading back in its hiding place and after he had done so he walked over to the glowing golden red book. As he came closer to the shelve he realized that it was high up so he used a spell to bring the book down. Kiera held out his right hand to catch the book while using his left hand to gentle bring the book down.

 

Once the book landed in his right hand it stopped glowing the golden red color and the color coming from the book looked more darker. 'What is this book?' he thought as he turned it over twice to see what was making it glow. He had never see something so dark as the book he was now holding. 'What kind of dark magic is this?' Kiera was about to put it back not liking the power that was coming from it, but his body and mind were on two different tracks. He opened the book causing a blinding red light to come from it.

-''How are you,granny?'', Cross took hands out pockets,to help the blind woman. Her eyes had no color,as in,irises. It was all white. The woman had strange powers to see in future - shaman.

-''I am very well,my boy. Hope you are healthy too.'',she paused and lifted hand witty index stuck out like she recalled something,''Ah, I have something for you.''

-''What is it?'', the young male got curious and looked at the woman that suddenly started moving around,as if she had no problem with her vision.

-''Where did I put it? It's an amulet that I want to give you.'',she started moving old paper boxes from front to the side,making her way to the corner of the room.

-''Amulet?'',Benniah couldn't get why she wanted to give him the amulet.

-''You'll need it one day- Ah! Here it is.'',she lifted a small black pouch and moved back to where Benniah stood.

-''I'll need it?'', he held hand out to take it.

-''Ah,my boy. You need to learn patience. When the time comes,you'll understand it.'',she dropped the pouch in his hand and smiled,

The blinding red light grew brighter and brighter until it felt like his body was being sucked right into the book, he released a loud gasp while the book fell down on the marble floor with a small thud. Kiera felt like his insides were burning as he was being dragged farther and farther into the dark red light. He unknowingly closed his eyes due to the pain becoming to much for him to bare. But the pain soon was gone and he opened his two different colored eyes, he found himself laying on a dirt road with a dark sky overhead. He sat up weakly as he looked around his surroundings. The place that he was in was dark and it made him feel slightly uneasy. 'Where am I?' he thought to himself, while he got up slowly and weakly.

 

'Why is it so hard for me to stand?' Kiera frowned as he dusted his clothing off. His tight form fitting long sleeved blue shirt had some dirt on it which he was trying to brush off which was not working at all. He released a sigh while he looked both ways to see which way to go. "Mh I wonder where the nearest town is at..." he whispered to himself as he started walking down the dirt road.

The white haired boy took the small pouch and just when was about to open it,the ground shook abruptly.

-''It has started.'',the old shaman lady walked slowly towards the windows of her shop and paused there,''Benniah,you have to go now.Trolls are coming and you have to meet someone.'',the woman turned around to smile calmly at the boy. Instead of panicking ,she kept the smile on,her blind eyes speaking the truth.

 

Cross nodded and got himself out the shop,he looked around. The whole city was chaotic. Witches,low graded monsters that were harmless,dwarves and what not were running around. All were eventually casting magic spells to get them out the Jarrad city. Although Benniah was enough of strong even without his god power,he wanted to be unnoticed. He took out from his jacket pocket a hat and put it over head,then started running down the dirty road of this city. He had to find a place where he could hide until trolls were to leave.

The young wizard felt even more weaker now then ever, it felt like something was blocking his magic. Just then he felt the ground shake wondering what was going on but froze when he heard a high pitch cry coming from behind him which caused him to cover his ears with his hands. But the high pitch crying was coming towards him and fast. The ground around him was shaking even more causing him to fall forwards hitting the dirt road once more. He then felt a pressure ready about to cause him harm which made him roll over to the side and blast the creature back with a power fire spell.

 

The creature fell back and released another cry as it jumped back up charging right at the young wizard who was now getting up. Once Kiera was standing up fully he blasted the creature again with a fire spell and in doing so killing it. He started to pant lightly knowing full well that he used way to much magic just now. 'I don't know how I'll hold up if another creature attacks me...' he thought while panting. His legs were shaking horribly, he just realized that when the book sucked him in it took a large amount of his magic away. He then heard another loud cry which could mean more were coming and he was slightly weak at the moment.

The slightly long hair of Benniah was hidden well under the dirty green colored hat. The young boy just got himself comfortably in some corner behind big old vases from red bricks. They were perfectly made to hold the wild roses in their round shape. It was like decoration to the store for flesh eating plants.

 

Just when he sighed in relief that he was hidden,he saw a fragile boy using magic to defend himself. Indeed,the boy had talent,but would he be able to fight off the rest of the trolls? It was a huge army this time. Cross clicked with tongue in irritation a single ''Tsk''.

Could he close eyes for a moment and leave the shaking out of exhaustion boy die?

-''The heck..'',Cross turned around,jabbing the black pouch in his pocket and faced the flesh eating flowers in the store.

 

Just when the trolls started destroying the buildings,coming closer to where Kiera stood,Benniah broke the shop's windows and took out of his other pocket an odd substance. It was liquid,but as soon as he threw it in the air,to break it against a troll's head,the one closest to the wizard,it turned into silver sand. The ash-like thing filled the air with luring the plants fragrance.

 

As soon as the troll turned around to eye Cross,quick branches from the store flew out like arrows. They got the troll down,stabbing his vital organs.

For his ''luck'',Benniah had to lower his head down,else another angry troll would have smashed him down.

-''Easy boy,easy.'',there another silver ash-bomb flew towards the troll. Cross glanced over the boy,it wasn't far. He could make it since the other was about to flop down any moment soon,or so it seemed.

Kiera's eyes widened when he saw that another person was fighting the creatures and so he didn't want to look weak in front of the other he concentrated the rest of his magic on the one spell that could destroy the creatures. He took a deep breath and clasped his hands together closing his eyes he said this: "The mother of earth, the tidal waves of the sea, the fire that can burn cities... And finally the lighting from the sky bring down these evil beings! Give me your strength!" The young wizard said as he opened his eyes which held a glow in them. His blue eye looked more like the reflection of the sea while his brown eye looked like the ruff brown soil.

 

He then raised his left hand up making lighting shoot down from the sky hitting the creatures causing them to all scream in pain. After that he touched the ground making it shake even more, but having sharp spikes shoot out of the ground hitting the creatures dead on. He then closed his eyes and said, "Fire serpent, Water serpent combine and take down these creatures!" he shouted out. Out of the ground a huge snake that had a ying yang sign on its forehead attack the rest of the creatures causing some of them to die while the other creatures were badly wounded.

 

After the serpent attacked it turned into soil and the earth spikes smoothed out making it look as if nothing bothered the earth. Soon after that Kiera collapsed on the ground.

When the whole spectacle ran wild in front of Cross' eyes,he was sure that the boy was very powerful. More or less for such a fragile body,Benniah was impressed.

The male ignored the trolls' cries,as if they were calling for more to come,and surely that was it. If Cross was right,this place would be buried under ground. He had to leave as soon as possible.

 

And just when he thought the boy could manage by himself,he fell abruptly down. It wasn't magic,it was his blood that got to boil. He was faster than a leopard.

-''Got'cha.'',an arm wrapped around Kiera's waist. Cross managed to capture the lifeless body of the boy before it hit the ground. Now he had to leave quickly.

 

When he got out,to not be at the spotlight,carrying some lifeless body,he had to wrap Kiera in some old fabric of dirty bag.

He put it over shoulder,as if carrying something from the weapon shop,and left the chaotic street where he first went,to meet the old man.

 

In one hour he was in front of his cave. It was exhausting to climb all what was behind,carrying a body. Benniah sat the boy down,as he was in the bag,and flopped next to him.

He didn't uncover the other,right now the waterfall seemed so damn luring to him. He was all dirty and sweaty.

-''Shower,first shower. Then I'll have to hunt....'',he glanced behind him,looking at the bag,''hunt for two...''.

Kiera groaned a little bit moving around trying to get comfortable but ended up rolling out of the bag due to him moving around so much. He opened his eyes slowly as he tried to sit up but failed horribly. He sighed as he just laid there rubbing his different colored eyes. "Ugh... W-Where am I?" he spoke in a soft voice while dropping his hands down on his stomach. But he soon regretted talking and moving. He the felt his eyes drop once again as a yawn escaped his lips. "To... tired to...." he trailed off as he fell asleep. His mouth was slightly opened because he was talking. Kiera's small chest was raising up and down signaling that he was indeed asleep now.

Cross blinked a few times. He held a chuckle back,putting a hand over mouth. He seemed to have found something interesting. The other resembled some small cat. For the few seconds he could use to notice the different colored eyes. He grinned and got up.

It was time for bath,and wasn't worried to leave the boy alone. No animal would dare to enter the cave and bother Benniah. So the boy was safe as long as he was in the cave.

 

The white haired male took off his hat and his slightly long hair rolled down to his shoulders. The cloudy sky could only make the bleach haired man look like a light coming from the dark.

Before jumping off the cliff where his cave was,Cross took off his clothes,only leaving his boxers on. He jumped to dive in the lake,swimming to where the waterfall was.

The young boy rolled over so that he was laying on his side, even while he slept he still felt the uneasiness willing up in the pit of his stomach which made him roll over once again. His mind wondering, he could see the elders running around frantically like they had just lost something dear to them. "Scout the area! We need to find Kiera!" he heard an elder say as he had his long cloak swaying as he ran down the marble halls of the Wizard Court. Just then his eyes snapped opened, a pain filled look crossing over his face as he gripped his chest. The pain was agonizing, it was ten times worse then what he felt earlier. "M-My chest hurts!" he gasped loudly still clutching his shirt.

 

But as soon as the pain came it was gone. Kiera sat up weakly, he almost fell back down but he caught himself before he could. 'Well that sure was strange... The pain was there and now its gone... It doesn't make any sense...' he thought to himself as he tried to stand up his legs buckled from underneath him causing him to fall face first but he outstretched his arms to brake the fall causing him to release a sigh but it was short lived since his arms buckled from underneath his weight making him frown into the ground.

Standing under the water falling from the waterfall,Benniah cleared his mind a bit. The slightly cold water made him groan. He wasn't used to have a company. During all these years he didn't let anyone near his cave,why now he took that boy?

 

A few minutes spent there,he turned around to face his cave.

-''Ah,he is awake.'',Cross grinned and gazed over there,it was fun or so he saw it.

 

The male went under water,swimming towards his cave. He wanted to be there in case the boy was to make some mess which would only annoy him.

The younger boy tried sitting up once again and he succeed in doing so, he sighed while he looked around the cave that he was now in. His brown eyebrows furrowed together trying to make some sense as to why he was here. But soon the memories came back to him. "Hm... I think that book was a trap... Or something..." he mumbled to himself as his blue and brown eyes scanned the surrounding area. Kiera took a deep breath, he was going to try to stand once more. He slowly moved so that he wouldn't fall. Once he was standing up he released a yawn and stretched his arms above his head.

 

"Ah much better... Hm now where am I..." his soft voice trailed off as he walked around slowly looking around the cave.

Just when he reached the cave,climbing the cliff to push himself up. His body firm and athlete-like though his muscles weren't much visible to make the body look like some rock,the muscles were balanced. His abs tensed as he pushed his whole body up,his white hair wet and messy,reaching his collar-bones.

 

Just then he lifted chin to see the other entering the cave completely. He lifted a brow and got on feet after the climb,to cross arms in front of chest.

-''You are in a cave near Griah lake.'',he informed the boy,slightly annoyed by his presence,but it was due to not used having a living being around him for ages.

Kiera jumped when he heard a voice speak up from behind him which caused him to turn around and look at the other male, his different colored eyes held a confused look in them. He tilted his head as he brought his hand up to his chin in a thinking kind of way. "Griah Lake?" the name sounded so foreign to him which made the confused look on his face deepened, "I've never heard of that Lake before..." he said with clear confusion in his voice. To test to see if he really was some where different from his home he decided to ask the white haired boy this. "Do you know about a Wizard City called Lancaster?" he asked as he kept his eyes on the male before him.
