The air was cold and moist. Rain was falling from the heavens up above showering the city streets. Heavy footsteps were heard running down the concert sidewalk. A pain filled growl shook the quiet night. The footsteps came to a halt as the large creature turned its head towards the man who was chasing him. The shadow of the man was seen standing at the edge of the alleyway blocking the only exit for the wounded creature. A soft but cruel chuckle was heard. The man's heavy knee high boots were the only things heard as he approached the now slowly dying creature.

He pulled out his sliver gun that was strapped to his thigh and pointed it at the creature. "It's the end of the line for you beast!" his cold voice sounded deadly and unpleasant. Just then he felt cold metal against the back of his neck and he couldn't help but smirk. "Your a little late... Allan... This beast is now mine to kill..." The man chuckled coldly before he heard the gun being cocked.

"Hn... I don't think so Julian... I was the one who wounded him... So he is my kill..." With that said the golden brown eyed man moved his gun so it was over the mans shoulder and he fired. A horrid howl escaped the beast as it fell to the ground dead. The other man growled and turned around pointing his sliver gun at the man behind him. "You bastard! He was in my territory! Not your's!" He gritted his teeth still glaring daggers at the man.

The golden eyed man just shrugged his shoulders and placed the safety on his gun before he placed it back in its holder. "Well... A sliver bullet wouldn't kill him... Hn... He was a vampire not a werewolf.... And I thought you were the best in the field Julian... I guess I was wrong..." Allan chuckled lightly before he turned on his own heels and gave a lazy twirl of his hand saying goodbye and walked away from a fuming brunette.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Allan James Patterson, is an extraordinary hunter who works for a society that the notorious Van Helsing had founded long ago. He placed his hands in his tight black jean pockets walking down the wet streets. The rain was not letting up and it didn't look like it would anytime soon. He kept looking forwards, but he did however listen to his surrounding just to be safe. He sighed shaking his now soaking wet head. He loved these kind of nights. People at the main building would always worry about him getting sick, (which rarely happens.)

He released a soft quiet yawn before he reached up and rubbed his left eye. Boy oh boy was he tired.

Name: Aleyn Quill

Age: 21

Race: Werewolf

___

The howl had been heard throughout the city by the other creatures within the area and those who were in form let lose howls in return, calling out for their lost mate. The beasts then fled through the streets, leaving the town to meet, to plan the downfall of whoever had killed their mate. Even as they ran, there were rumors of it being a man. A man who had skills that no other could match. One that everyone knew of and feared.

A few stray members of the clan remained within the city, on the look out for a man that they all knew of. This was the man responsible for their dwindling numbers. This was the man responsible for them not being able to defend themselves.

One of these clan members was a young man, a young werewolf, by the name of Aleyn. He wasn't in form, not needing it at the moment. He had his hands tucked within his pockets as he walked down the street, dark red eyes scanning the street for any sign of this hunter, this Allan. He doubted the man would be out due to the weather, but it was always possible that he would be. He was, after all, but he was also a werewolf and the rain didn't bother him all that much. He stifled a yawn, eyes moving to watch a man on the opposite side of the street. His eyes narrowed slightly, trying to discern the man through the rain.

Allan felt eyes on him and stopped turning his head and saw a young male staring right at him. A uneasy feeling washed over him which caused him to place his hand on his gun. The male had unusual red eyes. He must have been a creature of the night. But he decided to release his hold on his gun and gave the young man a slight playful smirk before he turned his head away from him and continued on walking down the street with his hands in his pockets. Just then a loud ringing was heard which caused him to sigh and reach in his back pocket to get his communicator out.

Once it was out he flipped it opened and smiled. "Yeah I'm here what's up?" "...Allan... A... Another... Werewolf... Was sighted... Near... Belmont AVE." The communication was slightly broken up due to the weather but he heard the woman loud and clear. "Roger that... I'll look into it..." He then closed the device and placed it in his back pocket taking off running down the sidewalk. -Jeez... When will they give up tonight!- He thought as he increased in his speed slightly.

Aleyn heard the ring, he could hear very well even with the sound of the rain hitting sidewalk and as the man took off the first word through his mind was Hunter. His body instantly picked up pace and he darted into an alley that would run parallel with with the street. As he ran, his fingers tore off the clothes he was wearing as his body changed shape. A soft snarl came from him. Despite years of shifting, the change wasn't gentle.

Soon the sound of running footsteps was replaced by the sound of nails clicking on asphalt. The werewolf increased his speed, heading towards the last known location of one his pack mates. He darted out of another side way, eyes locked onto Allan. No more of his pack mates were going to die tonight at the hand of a man who failed to see that they weren't monsters.

Allan's golden eyes widen slightly as his black boots skidded to a stop on the wet concrete and he took out his gun pointing it at the werewolf that was in front of him. "Hey! Your in my way beast! If you don't move then I'll kill you!" His voice was cold and harsh. His widen eyes turned into slits as he cocked his gun after he took the safety off. "I don't have time for you beast!" He sent a warning shot in the air trying to scare off the creature.

Aleyn snarled in response, fur bristling in a threat. He didn't flinch once at the gunshot, eyes narrowing just a little as his upper lip curled into a silent snarl. He had no intention of killing this man, not being a killer though he could feel the urge deep down. He had spent his years learning to control the beast, to keep it from lashing out, and he wasn't going to lose control right now even as he faced the enemy of his people.

He gathered himself before making a running charge, slamming his paws into Allan's chest to throw him down before spring boarding off and running into an alley that he knew one of his pack mates was in. His breath came in harsh gasps as he turned a corner, catching up with the member who was snarling low at the woman who had called in Allan. He could hear the jumble of thoughts running through his pack mate's mind, knowing that the other male was close to losing it.

Allan fell backwards and groaned slightly in pain as his back hit the pavement pretty hard. He slowly sat up and gritted his teeth, just then he heard a woman scream his name. His eyes widened. "ROSA!" He jumped to his feet forgetting the pain that was on shooting through his back. He ran in the direction that the scream and the wolf headed. He was slipping and sliding on the wet pavement but he didn't care. All he cared about was Rosa. Once he reached the area he growled lowly and cocked his gun once again. "Get away from her you beast!" He yelled out as his golden eyes turned in to slits.

The young long haired brunette woman held up her finger less gloved hand. "Allan... Wait... Don't shoot them!" She said looking at the raven haired man who was still pointing his gun at the two werewolves. "Are you fucking crazy!? They can kill you!" His voice held anger and confusion in it. Rosa sighed and shook her head. "Allan... Please listen to me... They won't hurt us unless we hurt them...." She spoke calmly which pissed the golden eyed man off even more. "Your wrong! Their a danger to our people! They have killed many of our comrades! Including my own family! And you expect me to not kill them!" His voice was slightly wavering but held a certain strength behind his words.

The bright blue eyed girl sighed, her face softening slightly. "Allan... Please... Listen to me for once! I know it's our job to hunt them down and kill them... But us attacking them when they have done nothing wrong is a crime... And you know that just as much as I do..." He still wouldn't put his gun down but his cold hard face did lighten up slightly. "I... Huff... Your right... Rosa-" The rest of his sentence was cut off by a gun shot. His and Rosa's eyes widened as she looked around Allan and her eyes widened. "J-Julian! What are you doing here!"

"Oh shut up Rosa! Well well well.... Allan... We seem to have been running into each other a lot tonight... Haven't we?" Julian smirked as he walked up next to the rave and used his gun to move some hair out of the way. "Hn... Your getting soft Allan..." He whispered in his ear causing the younger male to shiver and glare at him from the corner of his eyes.

Rosa looked at the werewolf that was snarling at her before drop to the ground and gave a wounded whimper. Her heart broke in two when she had seen that. Man oh man was she not cut out for this job.

The woman screaming wasn't unexpected, but it wasn't necessary. Aleyn had no intention of harming the woman and he was going to get his packmate to go with him. They weren't going to hurt anyone and he had some hope as he heard her pleading their case to Allan. He really didn't want to have to hurt someone on this night. His growling slowly lessened to show he meant no harm though his beast was crying out for blood shed.

The gunshot caused him to skitter around, ears flattened as his eyes locked onto Julian. The whimper from his pack mate and the scent of blood caused his hackles to rise, a dangerous growl coming from him. His mind was torn. Go after the man and risk death or try to leave...but he couldn't leave his life long friend. No, he couldn't leave him.

His dark red eyes slid to Allan's face, trying to convey a message, before he snapped Julian to warn him back before he caught his rather larger pack mate by the scruff. Growls still issued from, muffled by the fur, as he slowly dug in to pull his friend back towards home, back towards safety. His friend gave a low whimper, not much life left as his blood mingled with the rain. If his friend died...

Aleyn snarled low as he felt the last feelings fall from his friend, losing that connection, and his eyes found Julian. There was little human left within the red gaze. Nothing but an urge to kill the one who had destroyed his friend. As his anger boiled, his body shifted. The sound of bones rearranging and growing filled the air. His shift was that to of his hybrid self, a form that was taller than his average height and far more muscular. He seemed to fill the alleyway from the bristling of his fur and from the anger and hurt that emanated from. His whole mind was set on killing Julian, but in the most painful way he could. His body advanced, reacting to the instinct, to the urge for blood. His claws flexed and he gave a gutteral, wicked laugh.

Allan for some odd reason understood what the wolf was telling him. But his eyes widened when he saw the wolf transform right before his eyes. He looked over at Rosa who was shaking in fear. He ran over to her and knelt down in front of her shielding her from the view. Julian however jumped back and cocked his gun shooting the creature in its shoulder. When Allan heard another gun shot he turned around and looked over at the man. "What the hell are you doing! Your going to get killed!" He yelled out but the older male didn't listen to him and shot another bullet at the werewolf.

Rosa's eyes started to tear up. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. "Julian! Please stop! Listen to Allan!" Her voice came out shaky and uneven. She really hated this job... She didn't even know why she took it in the first place.

The man just ignored her and kept on shooting the creature. "Die you filthy creature!"

The beast registered the shots, but the pain was lost in the thrill of the kill. It gave a wicked grin even with its muzzle. It could take its time, but the shots were just enough of catalyst for it to close the distance and it's clawed hand caught Julian by the throat and slammed him against the wall as it let out a growling roar. It's other hand twisted the man's arm until the gun was dropped, snapping the bone. It's hand around the man's neck choked off any screams that may have come from it. It pondered for a moment how best to this and it's ears flattened as it snarled again, tongue licking up the man's neck, enjoying the salty taste and the slightest tinge of fear...

Oh yes, the beast enjoyed taking its time. It's free hand ran down Julian's chest before the claws raked through the clothes, pricking the man's stomach. The bullets were no more. It could take its time now...and it would.

Rosa's eyes widened when she heard the bone's being crushed. Tears were falling down her face in fear, Allan however stood up and walked over towards the creature and Julian. "Hey! Put him down right now!" Rosa heard Allan's voice and gasped quite surprised that he was not afraid of the creature. "Allan! What are you doing! It's going to kill you!" The girl shouted but he ignored her hoping that the creature would listen to him. "Hey! Put him down! I know he is a horrible man and all but... Your only confirming what I believe in! If you kill him then... I'll have to kill you! Rosa's right! It's wrong alright! I'll deal with him... Just please... Put him down...." His voice was soft and soothing.

The blue eyed girl was shocked at what she just heard coming from the ravens mouth.

The beast's head snapped around to Allan and it let out a low growl of warning. It's ears flattened dangerously and it shifted to wear it could easily grab Allan before it's movements stopped. A war seemed to be waging in the beast. It snapped once, but not at Allan before it dropped Julian to the ground.

Aleyn moved away from Allan and back to the body of its pack mate. He lifted the body though it caused his shoulder to protest. As he regained more control of the beast, feelings of pain from the bullet wounds coursed through his body, but he moved down the alley, clutching the now-human body of his friend close. Blood trickled down his dark brown fur, mingling with rain and marking where he walked. He would heal with time, but he needed to get home first, away from the hunters...

Julian sat up weakly and saw his gun, he was about to reach for it with his foot until Allan had kicked it away and pointed his own gun at the older man. The man looked up at him and laughed. "Oh... Come on Allan! You should put your gun down..." The raven smirked and shook his head. "No... I'm going to kill you..." He cocked his gun and aimed it at his head. Rosa saw this and stood up running over towards the two men. "Allan! Have you lost your mind!? Why would you want to kill Julian! I mean yeah he is a total jerk and all but he is hum-" She was cut off by him shooting her a glare.

"Shut it Rosa! He's not a human... He's lower then dirt! He needs to die!"

"Well... You can't just kill him! What would the others say if they found out that you killed another Hunter! They would ban you in a heartbeat!"

"So what! I'm tired of this! I'm tired of living like this! The only reason why I do this is to find the one that killed my family!" He shouted back at her. Tears were willing up in his eyes for the first time in a long time. He dropped his gun and dropped to his knees burying his face in his hands. He felt truly vulnerable right now. He was holding in the pain for far to long which caused Rosa to sigh and kneel down next to him bring him in her arms. She knew that this scene was silly. But she knew he was keeping it in for so long that it just sort of came out.

She rubbed his arm trying to comfort him as best as she could.

Julian watched everything with a snort, he could careless about what happened to the raven. He was still pissed that the werewolf got away. He vowed at that moment to capture the beast and kill it the next time he saw it and nobody would be able to stop him.

Aleyn let himself collapse in the opposite alleyway. He could hear the words of the hunters easily, but they weren't his concern right now. His claws slipped into the bullet wounds to pull out the bullets, dropping them on the ground. He growled low as he worked but he couldn't stop the howling cry as he removed one embed against his sternum. He dropped the last bullet, panting heavily as he slowly shifted back to human to heal. He looked up at the cloudy sky, letting the water wash over his unclothed body, let it wash away the blood and the sorrow of that day.

His pack would come to get him soon, he hoped. They would come when the hunters were gone. That was guaranteed, but the hunters didn't sound like they were leaving any time soon and he was too tired to move so he kept where he was. It was in the open, but he had managed to get his friend's body hidden should he be stumbled upon...Explaining a dead body wasn't easy, especially not one with a bullet wound.

A few more minutes of being on the ground had passed. Reinforcements were coming to the location that the three hunters were at. Once they got there two men helped up Julian and walked away towards the edge of the alleyway. A large man walked forwards and looked at the two hunter's that were on the ground soaked. His arms crossed over his chest as he released a soft but irritated sigh. "Let me guess... The werewolf got away..." His gruff voice was firm and held a strong sense of leadership.

Rosa pulled away from Allan when they heard footsteps closing in on them. "Uh... We're sorry Sir..." Her voice was low, she looked down at the ground ashamed of herself. Allan however was looking away from his boss. The man sighed and was about to say something to the two of them until a fellow hunter came running over towards them. "Sir! We found a dead body while we combed the area..." The young man said as he was standing straight with his hands by his sides. The head hunter nodded his head at the younger man.

A few more hunters were combing the area and found Aleyn bleeding. One of the search team members ran over towards him, her white trench coat flowed as she ran other to him. Her aqua marine blue eyes held worry in them. "Hey are you alright? What happened? Where are your clothes sweetie?"

"Heh...never better," Aleyn answered with the barest hint of a twisted grin at the lady, red eyes now looking up her to pale blue ones. They were pretty, but that one hunter...his eyes definitely surpassed hers. He looked away as he stifled a soft giggle. Here he was, bleeding out as he let his body heal, and he was musing on about eyes.

Oh, the things people thought of when they were surrounded by people who considered them an enemy. Eyes of all things. the thought brought another giggle. He really needed to sleep soon, but he still had to get home. "Oh...nothing happened. I tripped while jogging," he said with a shrug before shaking his head in amusement. He made no sense and he knew it, but why should he care what they thought? He was just a monster after all.

She furrowed her light colored eyebrows together in confusion. Maybe this kid hit his head or something... She just shrugged it off and took her long medical coat off and placed it around him helping him up. "Yeah right... Jogging my ass... You look like you've been shot!" Her voice was gentle but firm kind of like a mother. She looked at the other's who stared at her dumbfounded for a minute. She glared at them. "Well... Don't just stand there with your finger's up your asses! Go and tell Commander Frost that we found somebody!" She hissed and watched the men run off shaking her head she sighed.

"Honestly... Some of these Hunters are as thick headed as a brick wall..." She giggled lightly before she shifted the boy slightly as to not hurt him. "So whats your name sweetie?" Her voice was back to its normal sweet self.

Once the men got to where the Commander was they told him that they found somebody bleeding and he told them to take the person back to headquarters to get patched up. They both nodded and ran away towards the direction that they had came from. Allan and Rosa looked at each other with raised eyebrows. Confusion was clearly written all over their faces.

Aleyn let the woman place her jacket around him. It was safe and warm, and she felt safe to him...almost like a mother wolf. He let her lead him because of this. He should have protested he knew. He was the very creature they had been hunting, but she didn't seem to know that and he couldn't very well tell her that. He didn't want to see the look on her face, the look of horror that would be there.

"I'm Aleyn," he said with a soft smile at the woman as she walked him towards headquarters. He limped just a little bit, the wound in his leg was mostly healed already. The one on his chest was the one causing the most pain and would take the most to heal because of the bone....What would she say when they reached the infirmary and he was mostly healed? He kept quiet, however, letting her lead him out of the rain and inside...Soon she'd know he wasn't like one of them.

Once the two of them got to headquarter's five people gasped and ran over towards them. "Doctor Blake! Doctor Blake!" The hunters ran over towards her and was about to say something but she just walked past them without even so much as a look in their direction. When she arrived at the infirmary she asked everybody to clear out and they all had done so. She sighed and walked over towards a sink to wash her hand after she had told the boy to sit on the examination table.

"Well Aleyn... I can say that your one fast healer... Aren't you?" The woman's voice was low, she then dried her hands off and threw away the paper towel in a trash bin. She then placed gloves on her hands and walked over towards him. "I know what you are... From your scent... Not your eyes or anything..." She continued on talking she picked up a needle and flicked it.

"Oh please forgive me for the late introduction... My name is Ambrosia Blake..." She turned around and gave him a soft smile.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At headquarter's Allan was walking around looking through some paper's as a yawn raked through out his body. Him and Rosa were stuck doing paper work for the next few months. -Oh joy...- He rolled his eyes still looking through the papers not really paying attention to where he was going. He ended up walking past the infirmary's slightly opened door. He paused in his step for a few minutes. Just standing in front of the infirmary before he sneezed softly. Covering his nose and mouth with his hand before he sniffled. He would be damned if he was getting sick!
He sighed and shook his head before he continued on walking.
Aleyn sat down on the table as he watched Ambrosia wash her hands, just watching her movements as he held the jacket close to him. He frowned slightly as she talked. His smell? She had to be something herself, or she was just good at picking up on it. His eyes narrowed as he saw the needle, instantly distrustful. There was no way she was going to come near him with a needle filled with God knows what.
His red gaze snapped up at hearing the sneeze, recognizing the scent though it was no longer damp. "Allan," he said, just a little too loud, before his gaze went back to the doctor before him. He started to slide off the table. No, there were no needles in store for him. He would never risk that, never risk being taken.
Ambrosia saw this and sighed shaking her head. "There's no need for alarm sweetie... You can trust a fellow werewolf now can't you? And besides this needle is to easy the pain..." She said softly trying to calm the poor boy down. Allan stopped walking and turned his head towards the way he came. He raised an eyebrow wondering who called for him. He turned back around and headed back towards the infirmary. His raven eyebrows were furrowed together in confusion. He then stopped at the door ready about to open it but stopped when he heard somebody else call for him. He sighed and moved away walking towards the other voice that was now shouting for him. -Jeez... Can't I get a break!-
He gritted his teeth as his black knee high boots clicked on the marble floors. A very irritated look was crossing over his face. His golden brown eyes matched his irritation, oh god was he going to deck somebody in the face. So far his day and night sucked big time.
Aleyn's eyes narrowed at Ambrosia saying she was another werewolf. He couldn't smell her because the antiseptic smell of the infirmary and her jacket clung to her. He couldn't trust words alone however. "Prove it," he growled low, eyes glancing at the door again when he heard footsteps, but then they were heading away from it. Allan had gotten side tracked again, but if Ambrosia was a werewolf she might be trustworthy.
"And if you're really what you say you are, then why are you here of all places?" he hissed softly, only so she could hear in case they were being taped. He didn't want to be over heard because this was a touchy subject and he was in a lair of hunters.
She sighed before she closed her eyes and in an instant her clothes dropped to the floor and standing there on all fours was a beautiful white wolf with aqua marine eyes. Her transformation was quick and painless due to her being from a different clan. She gave him a soft look, walking up to him and gave his hand a gentle lick. She then sat back and stared up at him with a tilted head. She then got up and walked over towards her clothes picking them up in her mouth and walking behind a changing curtain. A few seconds later she transformed into her human self. It took a couple of minutes for her to get dress again.
Once she was fully clothed she walked around the changing curtain and walked over towards him with a soft smile. "See? And well..." She giggled softly before she bent down and picked up the now dirty needle and placing it in a waste basket. "Well... Believe it or not but Allan was the one to bring me here thinking I would be a good asset... He even kept my true nature a secret... He may seem like a person who hates all werewolves but the truth is he doesn't... Just the one that killed his family... He's actually a big teddy bear..." She giggled even more as she sat down on the table.
Allan sneezed once again covering his mouth and nose. The man that was talking to him looked worried. "Are you alright Allan?" He asked but he was ignored by said raven who walked away from him. "I'm going now... If you don't really need me then I'm leaving..." He said in a bored tone walking away and sniffling. That was the second time he had sneezed. Maybe he was getting sick...
Aleyn blinked in surprise at seeing Ambrosia transform. Her color was fascinating to him. His clan never produced white wolves and never had. He smiled a little bit at the lick. He didn't swing the way of women, but Ambrosia was cute in her demeanor and her coloring was beautiful.
"I suppose I have to believe you now," he said with a soft smile, settling back onto the table. He kept the jacket close however. He'd have to get her new one because it was filthy. "He could have fulled me..." he muttered softly with a sigh before shaking his head. Then again, Allan had tried to keep him from being shot...
He shifted a little bit, eyes roaming the walls of the infirmary before his eyes slid to Ambrosia. "What are they doing with my friend's body?" he asked. He hadn't forgotten about him, but no time had come up to ask before now.
She gave him a soft smile before answering him. "Well I made sure that they placed him in the woods... The hunters asked me why and I told them that all life starts from the woods... So I'm sure your clan has found him by now..." She patted his cheek smiling at him before she hopped off of the table when she heard a knock on the door.
"Come on in Allan..." She said before she walked back over to the sink and washed her hands again.
The raven haired male stepped inside quickly and shut the door quietly behind him. His golden brown eyes scanned the room until they landed on the red eyed boy. His eyes widened slightly before he closed them taking a deep breath and opened them again. "Your that guy I saw earlier today... Correct?" His voice was low and he walked over to another table sitting down.
Ambrosia walked over to him and checked him out to see if he was hurt. "Well you look fine... But stressed... Whats the problem..." Her hands landed on her hips as she looked worriedly at him like a mother would for her child. He sighed and buried his face in his hands after he had placed the paper work off to the side. "Well Commander Frost has me doing paper work for a few months... And Ivan keeps on hitting on me... Ugh... I swear one of these days I'm going to deck him one..."
The woman giggled as she listened to the young man rant. "Hm... Maybe you should tell him that your taken?" "Ha! Yeah right! He'll see right through the lie!" He laughed lightly before he looked at the other male in the room. "So what's your name?" His voice was deep and smooth. He even gave the man a soft smile.
