Dr. Chitose Irie (26)

 

A professional Cardiologist at Irie General Hospital

 

Son of the Chairman of Irie Gen. Hosp and a heir to boot, Chitose grew up as a perfectionist. The word mistake never existed in his dictionary. He lived in his own house located at a suburban area. When he's not working you can find him in his own office. He is secretly a sweet-toothed individual.

Name: Casey Lin

 

Age: 26

 

Appearance: He stands at 5'7, with jet black hair that seems uncharacteristically messy for an Asian. Still, he lets it grow out past his ears because he doesn't want to bother with fashionable hair cuts. His eyes are simply a plain dark brown color, but they have an unusual sternness to them since he keeps his eyebrows furrowed. He's almost always seen frowning, even when sitting down to relax. Though he's mostly an intellectual, he tries to keep some muscle on his frame.

 

Personality: Casey is a pessimist through and through, but he's a hypocrite in that he doesn't like other people being as negative as he is. When things go bad, he doesn't panic. Instead, he thinks out all the bad results and weighs them to see which would be the lesser evil. He's kind of a pushover, and can get strung along easily by other people, sometimes getting caught in their excitement.

Abnormality makes him nervous, but subconsciously, he doesn't hate things being changed up.

 

He's an intern at the hospital, but he hopes one day to be a simple pediatrician since he doesn't want other people's lives in his hands.

Name: Watanabe Hikaru

 

Age: 24

 

 

Personality: Quite and cold, that a perfect words to describe Hikaru. He doesn't care with people around him, he more like be alone. He not show many emotion, you can't really know he happy or sad or angry. He always show his 'non-expression' face. And to be honest, he just like slut. He never reject someone if they ask him to have sex with them, maybe because he doesn't care about it as long he have a return. Many bad rumor about him spread in the hospital. But he doesn't care people talk behind his back, who cares?

 

Bio: No one really know about his family, some people said his parents divorced, some people said they have a business trip and some people said they die because some accident. But the truth is, he live with his single mother. He never really know his father. He believe that his father left his mother when his mother pregnant. Because his father leave them, his mother become stress and always abuse him physically. And when he already 18 he left home and live in some small apartment. That why no one really know about his mom.

 

Actually he never have any intention to become a doctor. And some people said he sleep with the director, that why he can have the job. But the truth is?. He have a really bad reputation in the hospital, and actually he doesn't care as long it no impact at his career.

Age: 23

 

Personality: Kind and caring thats perfect words to describe Hayate, He loves to care about people and trent them well, He love his work very much and is all serious about his work, He like to meet other people and is very nice to people he meet.

 

Bio: he grown up in Orphanage and dont know who is parents are, When he whas 8 years old he be adobert by two kind parents and have lived whit them since then, When he whas 18 years old he moved out and start living on his own in a small apartment. He get his first work as doctor when he whas 20 years old and have worket as dorctor since then.

Walking in the hallway after his major bypass operation of a certain patient, a man wearing a white lab coat with a stethoscope hanging around in his neck, wearing an eyeglasses. Stretching the gloves covered by blood away from his hands, he immediately went to the cafeteria to grabbed some knick knacks and gather a bit energy for the next job. He sat down mixing his Mocha and twirling his fork to grab some pasta, the man continued to sigh heavily.

Hayate whas finish whit his work and walked to cafeteria to grabbed some to eat before his next work, he whas now in cafeteria and So doctor Chitose Irie and walked torwards him and said" god day Dr Chitose, how are you doing?" he asked Whit a smile.

Casey covered his mouth, holding back the yawn that was threatening to escape from him. It was the long nights and the irregular hours that were getting to him. Still, he had so much more to learn from the more experienced doctors at the hospitals, and so much more to do. Did he forget to sterilize the tools for that upcoming surgery? Did he have the medical procedures memorized? Just thinking about all of his duties brought a scowl to his face.

 

"Smile more!" a nurse scolded, walking by him in the hallway. He stiffened at the rebuke, cursing his own inability to remember such a simple thing. The woman knew his face, and she had told him on countless occasions that his usual grim expression made all the patients think that their test results had come out badly. He put a small forced smile on his face, and continued on his way.

Hayate buy himself some food and sat himself down on a chair beside Of Chitose.

"thank you very much doctor" said one of his patient family, he just finish doing some surgery for one of his patient. "Your welcome" he stand up and said with no expression and shake his patient hand. The patient bow and walk out from his office. After the door closed, he sit again on his black chair look at the window for a bit and decided to take a walk.

 

He open the door slowly, you can see some nurse great him for formality, he just bow at them. After they pas hikaru, he can hear some whispered from them "did you hear that watanabe-san sleep with his patients?" said one of the nurse "shhh...he can hear you" even toug he can scold them or said it not true, but he not respond about it and just walk ignore the nurses who talk about him. Hikaru know about bad rumors about him, after all he already know as 'a guy who can sleep with anyone'.

Hayate whas finish Whit his food and rais himself up from the chair and walked out Of the cafeteria and walked mot his next work When he so Hikaru and walked torwards him and said" hello Hikaru"

He walk with his white coat, doesn't have any destination. He just want to take a walk, he walk on the hall you can see people great him or when people see him they start to whispered. He ignore it and just walk. When he pass the cafeteria, he hear someone call him " hello Hikaru" a cheerful familiar voice. He stop walk, sighed heavily and turn his gaze to the right where the voice come from "what is it Yamato?" he said with no expression and flat voice, like usual.

Hayate smiled and said'' its nothing spesielt Hikaru, So how are you doing Hikaru?'' he asked

".......non of your business" he said that with annoyed voice, he always get annoyed if someone call him just for stupid question like that. He stare at him for awhile before he walk pass hayate to buy some cappuccino, since he in cafe now. "One cappuccino please" he said to the waiter, after 5 minute the waiter give him the cappuccino, he give her some money "thank you" said that waiter. He take his cappuccino and walk to the empty sit.

Hayate walked torwards Hikaru and sat on a empy seat beside of him and said''why are you getting so mad easy, All i did whas to ask you a question, Is it normal to ask somebody how they are doing''

Noticed Hayate sit in front of him "im not mad, i just not like answer stupid question like that" he continue his talk "who said you can sit there" he said without see at him, more interest in his cappuccino than see Hayate face.

Hayate sigh and said'' Well i can sit where i whant and what do you like to talk about then?'' he asked

He drink his cappuccino and turn his gaze at hayate "nothing really" he said that and turn his gaze to the cappuccino "instead of that isn't you have work to do?" he said it still look at his cappuccino.

Hayate rais himself up from the seat and so on Hikaru and said'' you have right, I forgott all about it and Hikaru dont belive the rumor so nurse is gossip about, I know you ïs not the man so sleep whit his pasient, You love your work for much to that, I belive in you Hikaru, Now must i go back to work, laters then Hikaru'' he said walked away.

Irie walking down the aisle noticed the two doctor's chatting with each other. He approached the both of them...

 

"Watanabe-san, Yamato-san...the neurology department needs you, kindly approach them immediately," Irie said nonchalantly. He bowed a little as a sign of respect and immediately walked away, "sorry for not answering you earlier, Yamato-san... well if you'll excuse me the both of you, " he continued and left.

Hayate So on Irie and said'' its alright Irie'' and he so on Hikaru and said'' Okey, lets go then Hikaru'' he said start walking to neurology department.

Casey looked up at the sound of familiar footsteps. It was strange how he found himself being able to tell who was coming from footsteps alone.

 

"Oh, um." His tongue stumbled over the proper Japanese greeting for a moment before he simply reverted to English. "Hello Irie-san." He had never been good with foreign languages, but he sure as hell wasn't going to embarrass himself trying. He also had to watch himself near Irie, since the man was the heir to the hospital, and had one of the best surgical arms that Casey had ever seen. However, at the moment, he looked a little...off.

"Is something wrong?" Casey asked, his mind working crazily thinking of all the things that could have gone wrong. Did a patient die during surgery? Was someone trying to sue the hospital again? Was he not doing a good enough job as an intern?

Irie, with the use of his middle finger pushed his eyeglasses upward and sighed.

 

"Nothing much , Dr. Lin...." he looked weary of something. "The patient is just stable... but it seems that he's giving up," he continued. Looking at the records Irie scratched his head a little bit. Thinking of any other possibilities to inspire his patient since encouraging is not one of his metier. Irie wanted to contact his family but it seems that he has no records of it. He scan over and over the patient's records, but there's none.

The greeting bothered him. He was no doctor; he was just an intern. He wanted to correct the other man, but remained silent and listened just in case the correction would seem rude in any way.

 

Oh? The perfect doctor actually worried about things like that? It was a surprise at the very least. Casey raised an eyebrow, awkwardly patting Irie on the shoulder in an attempt to encourage the doctor. He was no help in raising other people's spirits, but there was at least something he could do, right?

"You shouldn't feel down too, since it'll show on your face. It'll only make your patient think he has no hope," he said, trying his best to be helpful, but instead, it came out sounding stern. "Tell me some more details about this patient. Maybe we can think over it together."

Irie looked at Lin, he never would've thought someone would pat his shoulder. He looked at the other, "no need, I think I can handle this myself, thanks for trying to help though," He answered him. It's not that he doesn't trust Lin, but he does not want to trouble someone. Coughing heavily he looked at his watch, "excuse me~!," he cleared his throat and walked away.

 

"tch*, almost forgot.." he mumbled grabbing a little bottle containing some pills.
