Monday's Question 「 23rd of July,2012」 Imagine yourself on a hill, sitting on a lonely bench. Before you a sight-view is taking a place - 'The world's rebirth'. And suddenly you have the privilege to decide to give one bad trait and one good trait to the new generation. What they'll be? Note: Remember, the bad trait might bring the world to another 'end',but if you choose wisely the good trait - it might be triumphal for the humans. My own answer, This is quite hard... I just realized that humans need to lie to survive,hah. And I just realized that all good traits lead to their bad ones. I want...humans to know no giving up. But this kind of "Not giving up" which makes their soul - Victorious. Such a 'not giving up' that will not lead them to give up on their dreams,hopes,goals and love. Bad trait? Hm. To turn into a victorious soul,one has to risk. So,let it be 'risking' - 'walking on a tiny ice'. Shall my choice lead to another end? Who knows. In this world paralleled by greediness and other negative feelings....well we need Honesty and such. I'll give Laziness as a bad trait, people now are depending on technology, this thing is 98% eating all the work and turning it into recreation. Needed that we use this always... but in the future..it'll destroy us, if misused. (*am i answering it right TT , oh well) Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. nicicia Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 My answer would be: The new generation to value honesty, understanding, patience and the determination to resolve all disputes peacefully. Basically, the new generation shall always think thought of universal and equal love. Humans need not lie to survive in a world where lies, cruelty and corruption do not take place. The world is not made up of bad traits and good traits, it's all made by perspective. Humans have decided and defined what is 'good' and what is 'bad'. Therefore the bad traits are the same as the good traits. If you thinks kindness and honesty is bad, it will become so in their life. It's all the same to the universe. The world has to end at some point no matter what humans do. What should be important is how we live while we are here. We're here to be happy. Everyone always thinks throughts of universal love. Bad trait: Everyone is vegetarian...because they love the animals too much to eat them. Very true,thus I hope one day people will understand that if 'saving' for one is heroic, for other is tragic. A play between black and white,as always. As for the bad trait I think I'd choose the envy? I mean not really envy (can't really find a good word), but that kind of envy(?) that leads to competition, rivalry, and I think that would lead to progress. For the bad trait I would choose for people to be obsessed everything to be clean. Indeed, it would lead to riduculous situations like everyone cleaning the bars in a bus, or so, but at least we wouldn't find garbage on the streets, in parks and everything would be clean. :leaf5: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As "bad trait" ambition, not greed, but ambition.... @Nic, I agree, good and bad depends on the one looking, but I also agree with Saga, lies, nowadays, are a way of surviving, anyway, great answer....
