Jin.
@ Saga, uh really? xD It made me think of Ouran High school live action... Haha yeah I'm not behind him, I am behind... who the fuck am I behind?! O_o who do I want to surpass... I am not sure, I want to surpass my self and getting better then myself before (: thats how I am going to work... I don't really have allot of deals with practicing though, but whenever I see some good artist I'm like: Haha, I'm younger then them... gonna surpass them for sure! I sound kinda; 'too confident' about my art, although I am sure I have my limits... but I don't know, hands are getting better which is one good hell of a thing. I don't have G-pens >_
nicicia
katsu, There is a new kdrama out called "To The Beautiful You" which is basically korean version of Hana Kimi. It's different, and I personally wouldn't like to compare it to the 2007 japanese version (which is my fav). But if you watch it just like any new kdrama, it's pretty nice so far.

Pigrabit
I watch and readeverything, Drama, anime, manga, etc. I saw all the versions of Hana Kimi even the Japanese remake (currently watching the Korean version). I think the Japanese original was the best one, The Taiwanese one wasn't bad but it was too long and draggy, The Korean version so far doesn't really impress me. The again I don't like Korean adaptation of Japanese media (except for maybe antique bakery). I loved the Japanese version of the manga Hana Yori Dango but the Korean version kinda sucked in my opinion, a lot of people like it though so maybe it's just me. Ok I have a strange request for all of you.. I have been trying to find a good BL drama, and haven't found ones I really cared for.. So my request is what would you guys recommend? I like BL dramas like: Takumi-Kun (sex scene) No Regret (Korean, kinda explicit sex scene) Ai No Kotodama Fujimi Orchestra (Just sawed this one, I liked it +explicit sex scene) Eternal summer (Taiwanese, kinda weird ending, kinda explicit sex scene) Formula 17 (it was cute) Junjou Pure Heart (Adorable~) Theme:
katsunek9
Lol thanks pigrabbit ^^ Oh since we are still talking about Hama Kimi I just love Hokuto Umeda. Who doesn't? Lol ^^
nicicia
Well to anyone who is looking for a very sweet gender-bender/girl pretends to be a boy drama, I recommend Coffee Prince! It was the second korean drama I ever watched. (: And back to Hana Kimi, 2007 japanese version is definitely the funniest, in my opinion. Haha, the nurse and that lady (his sister or something, right?) were hilarious! XD
Saga
~Jin, In my point of view, one should always challenge themselves. I do it through surpassing others. But that I surpass them doesn't mean I am better, it means I have become more skilled than before. And so I go for the next goal. This is my way of improving art. But well, what we are saying? Art has many forms and no one is good enough of critic to state which is good and which is bad. though I must admit, once I had to stare at some baby drawing for one hour to get that it was a fly ._. Anyhow, practicing the hand, I will tell you a small tiny bit of a hint. Try calligraphy. This art trains not only the spirit, the hand movements, but as well your inner world. So,calligraphy is a good training. You do no drawing, you just train the hand. (: Well, there is time. You are young. (:
rosebud1296
Is it just me that doesn't really like the Tamaki Suoh in the live action of OHSHC? He just doesn't seem.... like Tamaki.... I like their Haruhi though, that was done well, and their twins. theme:
Saga
~Nic, LMAO! Coffee Prince,I've seen it,and my favorite part is when he goes to some doctor,or whatever it was for a help [He thought he was a gay ;D ]
nicicia
Saga, LMAO, that poor guy really went through some mindfucks XD
Jin.
Saga, yes thats true, but even surpassing someone, if its the goal you reached, and then further. Maybe I won't even get popular on dA like everyone dreams off even if I had the skills. Sometimes sites are complicated tho, but yeah. I actually can't get my answer of what I am behind... There are just too many artists that are too high, @_@;; ah well, its my dream to work in Square Enix, or maybe Capcom... Saga, you are not the only one, once a random animefart on my school was hyper because she drew something and was yelling like: "Come here come here! I drew something Amazing!" seriously... I still wonder what it was... a fly or an angel or what... I am practicing hand movement though, my own handwriting is already calligraphy... We never are too old to do something right~
Pigrabit
I forgot to mention Bokura Ai no Kanade that's also a pretty good live action the end was kinda crappy though. ~nicicia I saw coffe prince too it's was really cute. it was actually my second Korean drama, my first was You're Beautiful I liked that one too. ~rosebud1296 The guy doesn't really look like Tamaki true, but I thought he acted the role well. My favorite characters were Kyoya and the twins. It's probably because I love Daito Shunsuke (The guy playing Kyoya) though. and since we're talking about dramas, Tumbling was also a good Jdrama. I was surprised it was so good. Yanagishita Tomo (Takumi-Kun 1) was in there: he played a gay character, he was gay for this guy: It's completely understandable, I would have been gay for him too. I shipped them so hard, I kept hoping the other guy would turn gay at some point in the drama
Rei
@Pigrabit I've also watched all the ones you posted and indeed, Fujimi Orchestra is cool too and Formula 17 is funny! I forgot about those lol Bokura no ai no kanade is awesome too *___*

Pigrabit
LMAO Fujimi Orchestra live action... the sex scene just made me laugh so hard, the seme was jumping on him XDDDDD LOL I was laughing so hard it's was like 2 in the morning, my brother had to tell me to shut up. It was so funny the way it happened. LOL Also the way the seme turned up the music and was like "wagner", it was so creepy/funny. nicicia
omg Fujimi Orchestra, that scene was like...it wasn't supposed to be funny, but it was and...well I got through it with some head shakes and laughter XD As much as I love gender-bender dramas, there is one thing...sometimes it's really fucking obvious it's a girl. I mean come on, sometimes I wonder how no one could see it. And the voice...when she shouts or talks loudly XD
rosebud1296
There was a good korean drama i was watching (does nothing to help my learning Japanese, but ah well) it was where a chick wants to be an idol? or a dancer? and there's a famous composer or somthing that she aspires to meet i think... wow it's been a while.......... so Coffee Prince? Pigrabit
~nicicia Yea, I liked you're beautiful but i though the main girl was obviously a girl because you could see her boobs sometimes, then here voice is so feminine...smh, I thought it was good overally though with fujimi orchestra I never read the manga or watched the anime so the scene came as a shock to me, plus I watched it without subs first. It was the way they filmed it, it was so hilarious. I was really cracking up lol
BRIDGET
I started watching You're beautiful, also a gender-bender whose main character was Jang Geun Suk and I almost died of boredoom and sugar coma. One question, any yaoi to recommend? pliz?
nicicia
I think the best gender bender dramas I've seen so far are Hana Kimi (random, really hilarious moments) and Coffee Prince (because that girl actually passed as a cute boy the majority of the time). btw, I wonder if I can pass as a boy sometimes? XDD Not including cosplay.
DarkDjinn53
Theme pics - [/center] @Jin and Saga - My goal has never been to surpass anyone, I only wish to convey what is in my minds eye. Until I am as good as what is in my head... I had an instructor that once said that art is about starting with an idea then you start fixing the parts that don't work - the trick is to know when to stop. I had to learn when to say; "it's enough, I need to move on." There have been times when I had to walk away from a piece, because I literally stopped seeing the 'big picture' LOL. Being perfectionist can be detrimental to one's art. My dear, Art is never finished, only abandoned. Art is not a race to be won by crossing a finish line at a certain distance. Art is not about capturing something ‘perfect’ and showing it to the world. Art is about the imperfectness of it all, of life. Art is a teacher that teaches that this thing we’re doing is not about coming in first (whatever that means). Art shouts to us that we are all different and yet similar at the same time. It screams that this is not a race for we’re all running in different directions. Art teaches us that we are never done learning, never done exploring, never done growing. And yet at the same times whispers that although we aren’t done growing we should constantly put ourselves out there like it does. Art is eternally unfinished and it knows that… And that’s the point. Falsely yours, Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci wise man
Saga
~D2 I agree, but I am after something else. Evolution is my key word. I also start with an idea, then continue like a wanderer, trying different stuff and then I stop. But true,it's good to know when to stop, especially in art. I have many unfinished drawings - just because. Just because I see it more beautiful when unfinished. (: Simply put - to leave the reviewer to ''finish'' it. rosebud1296
~nicicia Can i find Coffee prince online? I love genderbenders, i just can't ever find them. ~saga I'm like that, i can't ever force my art. I try and I just end up flicking my nails in frustration (just feels good) For some reason i can only draw between the hours of 11 PM and about 5 AM, at least that's when great inspiration usually hits.
