DyingRemnant33
If I had a girlfriend, and we're loving eachother and she's on top...is she considered a seme only cuz she just on top. But like what if I didn't want to do any work at all even if it were boyXboy cuz what if the person on top wasn't really demanding or in control of the relationship and the person on the bottom just didn't wanna do any work. Is there anything that would say the seme could be on the bottom for once, can that work?
Guest ReincarnatedRainbow
Yes, it's called the real world. You do realize that relationships, whether gay or straight, aren't categorized into seme/uke, right? Sometimes a person is on top, sometimes they're on bottom. Sure, there are a few people in the world who claim to be strictly on bottom or strictly on top, but they are in the minority. Also, how demanding or "in control" a person is has absolutely nothing to do with their sex position. Please don't take the seme/uke archetype so seriously. It's all bull, in the end. Alright, I didn't even know that..just curious Seriously? Or are you being sarcastic? Not that I'd be insulted if you were, just simply wondering. It simply depends on how you define 'seme' and 'uke'; I think we all have a good idea of what they mean in the context of yaoi, but in real life someone personality, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, etc. can all be quite different and seemingly contradictory. This makes it quite hard to use these two terms in real life contexts. TBH I don't think that labels like 'seme' and 'uke' are that important; if they work for you, great! But if they don't, you can invent your own label or even not use one at all... I mean the only reason that we have the words "same" and "uke" is to convey an idea that is used often, but if two people are truly in love then they shouldn't need to use standardized words to convey who they are; they should just be themselves. Musica
*clears throat* ehem! When two people make love with each other... they do it as an expression of their feelings,,, and not to validate any role like seme or uke or whatsoever... so they can do it in any position they want... P.s. if the uke is on top,, I'm sure the seme is having a great view.. lol
