Novel: Just a Bit Confusing
Author: Alessandra Hazard
Genres: Romance, Homoerotic
Released: N/A
Part of Book Series: Straight Guys #5
Summary:
Best friends, inseparable since childhood, one in love with the other, the other straight and in love with a woman.
Stories like this don’t have a happy ending; James Grayson knows it. He puts on a smile, he laughs, he jokes, and he pretends he’s fine when Ryan kisses his girlfriend in front of him—until he can’t.
Except nothing is easy and letting go turns out to be much harder than one might think. Some bonds are too strong to be broken, even for a straight man. And sometimes love and desire can have different faces and layers.
A story of two men trying to function without each other and failing.
Post’s Author Opinion:
Note: This is a personal opinion, it does not reflect YaoiOtaku’s official position towards the novel.
In the previous book —Just a Bit Wrong— we met Ryan and James in the epilogue. Ryan is Zach’s younger brother and James is Tristan’s half brother.
These guys have been best friends for fifteen years, so it’s hard for them to be separated. James is in love with Ryan, he decides to confess on Tristan’s advice and that’s when the relationship of these best friends changes completely.
His relationship is one of the most affectionate, very sincere and beautiful —so at the beginning he suffers a little.— However, I can say that Just a Bit Confusing is a great book that shows us that romance and friendship coexist without problems when it comes to loving.
