If “Yondaime Ooyamato Tatsuyuki” and “Joou to Shitateya” had a baby, THIS would be the result :D. A, for a manga from the yakuza genre, lighthearted story with likeable gentlemen that will conjure a smile on your face.
Incase i haven’t mentioned it yet, i’m a massive fan of japanese/korean mafia stories and read as good as every single manga labeled yakuza. So i have to admit, compared to the other manga i’ve layed my hands on before it felt a little weak from the yakuza point of view because of the lack of action and all the well behaved men in suits giving their best to act tough. However it was still a cute, thrilling read when you look at it from the romance and drama angle.
I had my fun reading this diverting story and might even pick it up again if i want something relaxing and also want to treat myself with some lovey-dovey gangsta sweetness (if this makes any sense?) ^_^
